Das Lokal ist sehr schön und gemütlich. Die Kellner sind freundlich und zuvorkommend. Das Essen kam schnell und die Auswahl war groß. Ich kann das Restaurant uneingeschränkt empfehlen. Die Toilette ist sehr sauber.

Wir haben Abendsessen gegessen mit fünf Leuten. Das Essen war lecker, die Atmosphäre ist sehr freundlich und sehr herzlich. Das Personal war auch echt toll und freundlich. Wir haben nur wenig gewartet, die Speisen waren köstlich alles war genau in der richtige Zeit serviert. Alles super, wir kommen bald wieder!

Die Leber sauer mit Bratkartoffeln, wie immer ein Gedicht.

Uriger Gasthof, guter Zwiebelrostbraten ebenso Südtiroler Schnitzel mit Tomaten, Salami und Käse überbacken. Sehr netter junger freundlicher Mann hat uns bedient. Kommen gerne wieder.

Wir kommen aus Osnabrück und waren bei der Familie in München. Wir haben gemeinsam mit sechs Personen gegessen und wirklich jeder hatte einfach ein super fantastisches Essen und eine tolle Nachspeise. Der Service war einfach nur zuvorkommend. Speisen konnten geteilt werden gerade beim Nachtisch. Der Kaiserschmarrn war super, eine wahnsinnig große Portion, die wir auf zwei Teller und verteilen lassen konnten. Einfach total super und zuvorkommend. Vielen Dank für einen so wundervollen und leckeren Abend

Wir waren an einem Sonntagnachmittag hier zu Gast. Der Betrieb war angenehm entspannt, was uns positiv überrascht hat, da in anderen Bewertungen oft von hoher Auslastung die Rede ist. Essen: Wie man es in einer bayerischen Wirtschaft erwartet, wird hier mit Fett nicht gegeizt. Allerdings war es hier besonders auffällig. Ich hatte einen Schweinsbraten und anschließend Kaiserschmarrn. Der Schweinsbraten war grundsolide, aber nichts, wofür man gezielt hierher kommen müsste. Ein klassisches Gericht, wie man es in Bayern vielerorts bekommt. Der Kaiserschmarrn hingegen war leider enttäuschend. Schon die ersten Bissen hatten einen deutlich herzhaften Beigeschmack, als wäre die Pfanne zuvor für andere Speisen genutzt worden. Das hat den Genuss stark beeinträchtigt. Zudem fehlte das typische butterige Aroma. Der Teig wirkte eher schwer und fettig als locker. Die Portion Apfelmus war großzügig, aber Extras wie karamellisierte Mandeln oder eine besondere Veredelung sucht man vergeblich. Auch wäre es sinnvoll, den Kaiserschmarrn in einer kleineren Portion anzubieten. Eine solche Option scheint es nicht zu geben, zumindest wurde sie uns nicht angeboten. Meine Partnerin hatte den Spargel sowie das Schokosoufflé. Der Spargel war geschmacklich gut, aber sehr großzügig mit Buttersoße versehen. Das Schokosoufflé war insgesamt sehr süß, sodass der eigentliche Schokoladengeschmack etwas untergeht. Service: Der Service war insgesamt wirklich sehr gut. Unsere Bedienung war aufmerksam, freundlich und präsent. Allerdings verschwand sie irgendwann kommentarlos, und wir mussten schließlich bei einem anderen Kellner zahlen. Auf dem Bon war „Spätschicht“ vermerkt, was auf einen Schichtwechsel hindeutet. Dieser wurde jedoch nicht kommuniziert, was etwas irritierend war. Fazit: Die Portionen sind ordentlich, die Preise passen und der Service ist stark. Mit etwas weniger Fett, einem besseren Kaiserschmarrn und transparenterem Ablauf beim Service wäre hier deutlich mehr drin. Ich vergebe vier Sterne, würde aber vermutlich kein zweites Mal kommen.

Leckeres Essen, freundliche Bedienung

Ein wirklich authentisches Restaurant mit traditionellen bayerischen Gerichten in einem typisch bayerischen Ambiente. Ohne Schnickschnack, einfach großartiges Essen, hilfsbereites Personal (das gut Englisch spricht) – absolut einen Besuch wert.

Genau das, was man sich unter einem sehr guten traditionellem bayrischen Wirtshaus vorstellt! Rustikal, heimelig eingerichtet. Super organisiert, top service und hervorragendes Essen. Wenn wir in der Gegend sind, gehen wir immer ins Gasthaus Ruf, da macht man nix falsch - klare Empfehlung.

Das Gasthaus war wie ich bei mehreren Besuchen wiederkehrend feststellen konnte gut besucht. Ich war sowohl in kleineren Gruppen, Gast aber auch in größeren Stammtisch Runden Gast im "Ruf". Sowohl was die Qualität der Speisen betrifft, wie auch der Service waren unabhängig von der Frequenz immer gut.

Angenehme Atmosphäre, bayer. Traditions-Küche und vieles mehr. Kein Ruhetag. Parken ist etwas schwierig.

Mittagessen im Gasthaus Ruf mit Kleinkind. Wir wurden freundlich empfangen, das Essen war sehr lecker und die Getränke haben geschmeckt. Lediglich fehlte eine Wickelmöglichkeit.

Das Essen ist sehr lecker. Und mit liebe angerichtet. Die Tageskarte sehr abwechslungsreich. Service sehrbfreundlich und zuvorkommend. Das Ambiente passt genau zum Ortkern und einem Gasthof mit langer Tradition.

Ich war schon öfters in dem sehr gemütlichen Gasthaus ,und hatte mich eigentlich schon sehr gefreut darüber , nur diesen Sonntag war das ganze Essen und Trinken vom Preis Leistung Verhältnis sehr enttäuschend .

Das Gasthaus Ruf in Seefeld ist für mich ein Paradebeispiel dafür, wie echte bayerische Gastlichkeit heute aussehen kann. Für unser Weihnachtsessen hatte ich Schweinsbraten mit Kartoffelknödeln und Brezenknödeln zur Abholung vorbestellt. Vereinbart war der 24. Dezember um 11:00 Uhr – und was soll ich sagen: pünktlicher geht es nicht. Auf die Minute genau standen die Speisen bereit. Trotz Feiertag, trotz großem Andrang herrschte dort eine Ruhe, Freundlichkeit und Professionalität, die man nicht oft erlebt. Der Chef persönlich nahm sich Zeit, erklärte mir in aller Ruhe, wie ich die Gerichte zu Hause optimal fertig zubereite und serviere, damit alles genauso schmeckt wie im Gasthaus. Ganz selbstverständlich wurde mir auch Hilfe angeboten, alles ins Auto zu tragen. Kleine Gesten, große Wirkung. Die Mitarbeiterinnen und Mitarbeiter waren durchweg zuvorkommend, höflich und unfassbar freundlich – und das an Heiligabend. Genau dieses Gefühl kenne ich auch von meinen vielen Besuchen am Abend im Gasthaus Ruf: Man fühlt sich willkommen, gesehen und ernst genommen. Zur Qualität der Küche kann man nur den Hut ziehen. Das Fleisch ist von herausragender Qualität, perfekt gegart, wunderbar gewürzt. Die Knödel ein Traum. Klassische bayerische Küche, aber auf einem Niveau, das man so nicht überall findet. Hier wird nicht einfach gekocht, hier wird Handwerk gelebt. Die Köche wissen genau, was sie tun – vom Würzen über den Gargrad bis zur Liebe zum Detail. Man könnte sagen: Die bayerische Küche bekommt hier ein echtes Upgrade, ohne ihre Seele zu verlieren. Sowohl für Liebhaber der traditionellen Küche als auch für Gäste und Touristen ist das Gasthaus Ruf ein Ort, an dem man versteht, wie gut Klassiker wirklich schmecken können. Ein großes Dankeschön an das gesamte Team. Man merkt, dass hier mit Herz, Können und Respekt vor dem Produkt gearbeitet wird. Wir kommen immer wieder – und empfehlen dieses Gasthaus aus voller Überzeugung weiter.

Ganz in Ordnung nur als Allergiker darf man da nicht hinwollen, weil die Allergene weder auf der Speisekarte vermerkt sind, noch der Servicekraft bekannt sind.

20251120_The inn is a central location in the municipality of Seefeld (Bay), where everyone who can walk meets, food and service are fine, everything as desired, unfortunately I had no 5G reception in the inn.

A tried-and-tested spot for enjoying good, traditional German cuisine. Everything is delicious and expertly prepared. Very friendly and attentive service. Tip: Make a reservation!

Excellent Bavarian cuisine, great service and reasonable prices

I was really looking forward to the visit – even from the outside, you can tell this is still a typical Bavarian restaurant with traditional cuisine. The dining room has a rustic design, which contributes to the coziness. We arrived around 5:30 p.m., which made it even quieter, and we got a table. Otherwise, I recommend making a reservation for Friday evening. The daily menu included baked fish with potato salad, which we had, and schnitzel with mushrooms and dumplings. The latter was apparently good, but unfortunately, the fish plate wasn't so convincing. That little piece on top? And the potato salad was completely overcooked and a bit unusual and heavily seasoned. I'm sure it can be improved. We even mentioned this at the end. The service was very friendly and pleasant. Since we really appreciate local restaurants, we'll try it again and then we'll see...

Super cozy inn – highly recommended! The Gasthaus Ruf in Seefeld is truly fantastic! The rooms are incredibly cozy and inviting – you immediately feel at home. We went there twice during our vacation, and each time the food was truly delicious and beautifully presented. Everything arrived promptly, and the staff was super friendly. You can easily reserve a table by phone or online – you should definitely do so in the evenings, as it gets really busy. We'll definitely be back! 😊

A typical pub with a fitting (loud) atmosphere. There seems to be someone at every table who knows everything and can do everything...! As is typical in Bavaria, most of the dishes are pre-cooked and can therefore be served quickly. The later you arrive, the more overcooked the food is. Unfortunately, we didn't arrive until after 7:00 PM ))-: The service was good, though, and the waitresses very friendly.

A sensational restaurant. The service was authentically Bavarian and friendly. The decor was rustic and clean. The food was consistently excellent. The schnitzel was fantastic, the goulash unbeatable, the salad was picture-perfect, the beer was good, and the dessert was equally delicious. Beautifully located on the edge of town next to a church. It's also nice to sit outside. If we're visiting Bavaria from Hesse again, we'll be happy to drive there again from Munich.

Very good cuisine, typically Bavarian, with an outdoor terrace for sunny days and a typical Bavarian interior dining room. The service is fast, and the meat is of very good quality, supplied by the butcher shop next door, which seems to belong to the establishment. The dishes offered are numerous and varied. The prices are reasonable for this type of establishment. A main course changes daily at €13.90.

As always, a fantastic experience. The food was very good and plentiful, the service was consistently attentive and friendly, and the atmosphere is simply fantastic. I'd be happy to return.

Very good restaurant. The food is excellent. Cozy atmosphere. Prices are upscale. Reservations are recommended. We had the Ruf-Pfanderl (roasted pork with vegetables and sparrows) or the one with rosemary potatoes. The meat and vegetables were cooked to perfection, and the pepper sauce was excellent. My husband had Zurich-style schnitzel, which was also very good, with salad. The service was very pleasant. All in all, very good.

Located in the heart of town, this long-established inn with a butcher shop is complemented by a tranquil beer garden. Although the beer garden is located on a street, the noise level is bearable. The rooms are beautifully decorated. The service is friendly and competent. Drinks are served promptly.

After a long time, I had dinner at Gasthaus Ruf again and was very satisfied. I sat in the busy garden and enjoyed the professional, friendly service. A good Munich schnitzel with potato salad (luckily, the arugula was only placed on top, so it could easily be lifted off and set aside...). Prices are now reasonable, as the rest of the restaurant industry has followed suit. Conclusion: If you want good, home-style food, this is the place for you – although the traffic is a bit annoying.

At a company party, I ordered fish with vegetables. The portion was very generous, and the side dish was also excellent.

The prices are on the higher end, and the food is actually excellent! However, you should expect more for the prices charged. In short: the value for money needs improvement, but the service is extremely attentive!

A classic and rustic inn with a beer garden in Seefeld. Very friendly and fast conditions. The food is very tasty and the portions are huge, so you'll be full. The menu is extensive, mainly good Bavarian but there are also options for vegetarians and vegans. Only at the beer garden you sit on the street, which didn't bother us and there are only a few parking spaces on site.

Food was great, great schnitzel and great potato salad. It's also just nice when you have nice waitresses 👍

The food and the selection of dishes are very good. I've been here many times and have never been disappointed. The only complaint is the following: The staff is very friendly but a bit inattentive. Tables are not cleared promptly or only partially, cutlery and napkins are not replenished. Good staff should keep this in mind. Likewise, new guests shouldn't have to ask for the card after 10 minutes of ignorance. Overall, the inn is recommended.

Das Geröstl war eine Katastrophe. Normalerweise gehört es mit Bratkartoffeln oder gebratenen Knödeln gemacht, von beidem nichts zu finden, nur gekochte Kartoffeln. Dafür eine Menge Soße, die auch nicht in ein Geröstl gehört. Und die Bierpreise sind dreist - € 5,20. Es ist alles teuerer geworden, ja. Aber viele Gaststätten kommen mit moderaten Preiserhöhungen aus. Die anderen - wie z.B. Ruf sind gierig. Einmal und nie wieder.

Unfortunately, when roasting pork, there was a cold dumpling in very little sauce, but upon request this was promptly replaced by a new hot dumpling in a small bowl with a little new sauce. The portions were sufficient. We recommend the Cordon Bleu. Prices okay (from €18), but we expected more.

Onion roast was sensational. The sauerbraten was very good (a bit meat-heavy - I would have preferred a larger dumpling and less meat - but that's a matter of taste). Next time I would also switch to the onion roast. The waitresses were super friendly

We had dinner with twelve colleagues. Everyone was totally satisfied. Great service, very good menu, nice and cozy and really good food. Can't be done better. I will also be visiting the Gasthaus Ruf privately in the future.

We wanted to find something nice, cozy, traditional Bavarian outside of Munich and googled the restaurant on the internet. The Gasthaus Ruf absolutely exceeded our expectations, a very cozy atmosphere, warmer Service. The food is simply delicious, fresh and made with love. The selection of dishes is large and affordable compared to Munich. We'll be back! Absolutely recommended!!!

Waiting 25 minutes for a wheat beer and having to ask 3 times is quite an achievement while people who came later already had their food on the table.
