Directly opposite the church is the inn with a beer garden and attached butcher shop. The menu, including the daily menu, is varied, including vegetarian dishes, fish and meat dishes. The quality of the food is good, the prices are reasonable. Free parking spaces can be found on the street and at the church, and a bus stop is right in front of the house. The staff is friendly even in stressful situations.

It was a hot day and we really wanted to eat on the terrace. Unfortunately in Germany it is still normal to smoke outside, so we sat inside. The menu was handed to us quite quickly, but then the long wait began. We were completely ignored. We were only allowed to order after repeated inquiries. That was after 25 minutes. The food also came quite quickly. Unfortunately my daughter's vegetables were not cooked. When we raised this there was no response. No apology or anything like that. Then we were ignored again. For dessert we had to ask for the menu again. And even after that we were ignored again. So I went to the bar myself to pay. In short, miserable service. We won't come here anymore.

We were there for dinner yesterday. Unfortunately, when we came, everything outside was full, so I would recommend making a reservation. We then sat in, which was quite pleasant given the heat. My husband had a Swiss sausage salad and I had the snack plate. Everything was really delicious and the bread even came to the table warm. The service was also very friendly - we felt very comfortable and would be happy to come back.

We were in Starnberg with friends and took a detour to Seefeld. The Gasthaus Ruf with its beer garden invites you to linger. Very nice service, good food and nice ambience. The six of us had a delicious meal and enjoyed the beautiful weather in the beer garden. Gladly again.

We certainly won't forget our visit to the Gasthaus Ruf in a hurry! The atmosphere was wonderful and very cozy, the food was excellent (my personal recommendation: truffle gnocchi) and the service was more than friendly and accommodating. And even when the weather changed and a storm hit us, the waitress put on a big smile and didn't leave us out in the rain. Thank you for the great evening - we'll be back!

The food is delicious and the service is nice. Unfortunately the price-performance ratio is not right at all. Especially if you have the feeling that the portions are “artificially enlarged”. Overall, a restaurant that could get a much better rating.

Arrived at 2:30 p.m. and when we asked, we were told very angrily that the kitchen was closed. OK, that's right. Our friend, who had arrived 10 minutes before us, had just received an apple strudel. The question about an apple strudel for us was answered with a very indignant "I'm looking...". The waiter turned around and we could barely hear a swear word. There was nothing for us, not even a pretzel was possible. We waited until the kitchen opened at 5 p.m. and then had a very good meal. Beforehand we had coffee and asked for 2 of the packaged cookies instead of 1. The waiter (a different person than before) said no problem, it could be 25. We got 1 cookie. Going somewhere else wasn't an option - everything was closed until 5 p.m. What was also negative: tables were only cleared when we were told, ashtrays were never emptied, and cutlery had to be requested. It's a shame about the very nice restaurant. We probably won't come back...

We were on vacation there. We ordered a table there. I really have to say, I haven't eaten such well-prepared fish for a very long time, not a single bone, so tender, so juicy, the vegetables, bomb, the rosemary potatoes are a poem. My kids had the burger, which was incredibly tasty, my husband had the roast pork, it couldn't have been cooked any better. We always enjoy coming back. The staff, the ambience, it's like being at home with my grandma❤️ But it's really very rare that you find a restaurant that can prepare fish so well. I would give one star for that alone. Definitely worth a visit. Thank you for the best fish in years.

A really nice traditional Bavarian inn. You enter the inn in a rural setting and immediately notice that there is a lot of tradition here. A good and fresh beer and a traditional meal. The portions are not particularly large, but neither is the price.

A restaurant with a menu not only adapted to the season, but also a diverse selection of dishes with meat from our own butchery and personal service at the table that fulfills even the most unusual wishes, makes a visit to the Gasthaus Ruf an experience. A beautiful beer garden with classic dishes and delicious beer. The Munich schnitzel with mustard horseradish crust was very tasty. It could have been a little thicker, but that's a matter of taste. The service was very nice.

It was so perfect that we ate here several times during our vacation. The quality of the food was very good, the staff was more than friendly and the atmosphere was also good. We will certainly come back when we are in the area again.

Die Schnitzel Münchner Art sollten besser Panade mit Fleischeinlage heißen. Das Fleisch war 4 mm dick. Wenn sowas bei uns in Oberfranken serviert wird dann gibt es richtig Stress! Dafür noch 17,90 zu verlangen und Werbung mit eigener Metzgerei zu machen ist der Gipfel der Unverschämtheit

Super gutes Essen, freundliches Personal, war mit einer großen Gruppe =43 Personen zum Mittagessen angemeldet. Keine kleine Karte und trotzdem ALLES schnell, frisch und selbstgemacht. Sehr gut und das bei angenehmen Preisen. Fazit: Sehr zu empfehlen!!!!!

Four of us ate here on 3 evenings within 5 days of vacation. The inn has a rustic, very well-kept atmosphere. The service was very friendly on all 3 days, helpful in choosing the dishes without being intrusive. The food was perfect every evening. Very tasty salad plates, colorfully mixed leaf salads, appetizingly prepared with an extremely tasty dressing. Schnitzel with fries, suckling pig with dumplings, onion roast, cordon bleu - everything tasted really good, real home cooking at a high level. We will definitely come back.

Unfortunately I can't rate much. I came on a Tuesday around 2:30 p.m. and when I asked, the waitress was quite unfriendly and said he didn't have anything to eat. The kitchen is on break. It would be nice if it was written like that on the homepage, then I would have saved myself the trip. I assumed that there would at least be a cold kitchen or a small menu when the economy was already open. Well, now I know.

Despite the many guests, hectic pace and stress, friendly service. Maybe I was just unlucky with the food? Unfortunately, the meat of my Wiener Schnitzel was quite dry and nowhere near as tender as I know it to be.

3x 5 stars! By which? Rightly! The Gasthaus Ruf simply stands for exceptionally good cuisine. Sometimes with classic dishes, but then in excellent quality. Or go beyond Bavarian delicacies in a successful interpretation of Asian dishes, for example. The service is simply great, attentive and professional. The ambience at Ruf is always something special, always with a fresh shine depending on the season, but without losing its own identity. With a lot of taste and fingertips! All in all: take a look for yourself and enjoy it!

Hier kannst du gutbürgerliche Küche genießen. Die Wochenkarte fürs Mittagessen ist auch nicht zu verachten. Nebenräume für Feierlichkeiten sind auch vorhanden.

Leider mit einigen Weihnachtsfeiern sehr voll, das Essen im normalen Betrieb besser, aber das war wohl dem Andrang geschuldet, sonst sehr zu empfehlen

Bayrische Traditionsgaststätte mit Biergarten und eigener Metzgerei. Hier schmeckt alles, auch für Vegetarier geeignet. Es lohnt sich nach dem Essen die Metzgerei aufzusuchen und selbstgemachte Leckereien mitzunehmen, für Weißwürst und Leberkäs kommen die Leute extra aus München, Wann immer wir in der Nähe sind, kehren wir ein.

Wir waren an einem Sonntag hier zum Mittagessen. Das Essen war gut und die Portion reichlich. Der Service war nett und flott.

Kann ich nur weiterempfehlen. Schönes bayrisches Wirtshaus. Der Spanferkelbraten mit Kartoffelknödel und Krautsalat war super. Gut dass wir reserviert hatten denn es war einiges los.

Das Essen ist jedesmal sehr gut, ein Hamburger aus gerupftem Schweinefleisch, hervorragend. Scampi im Kartoffelmantel frittiert mit einem sehr leckerem Dip. Wir gehen meist von der S-Bahn Weßling hier her und dann zur S-Bahn nach Seefeld für die Rückfahrt

Wir waren zum Mittagessen im Aussenbereich des Restaurants. Das Essen war ok.Fleischpflanzerl mit Kartoffelsalat. Wartezeit fast eine Stunde. Bedienung wirkte lustlos und reagierte nicht auf Wūnsche.

Schweinebraten mit sehr festem Fleisch. Krautsalat nahezu 0 gewürzt und zu hart. Einfallslos, 0 kreativ, geschmacklich alles sehr, sehr entwicklungsfähig!
