We go there to eat more often, sometimes with music outside in the summer and inside in the winter. We like the atmosphere as well as the food. The guests are very different from hikers to normal guests. Service friendly and quick, food good to very good. Prices reasonable.

The food is great, great ambience. The food is prepared with a lot of love. The last visit was one with a lot of memories; we spent a lot of time in the restaurant with my grandmother, who passed away in 2008. It's nice to see that the restaurant has been able to survive for so long and hasn't gone under despite Corona. Thank you for a nice October 3rd.

We were impressed by the service and the beautiful ambience. Unfortunately, both of our dishes were seasoned with a lot of salt. Too bad!

Great Franconian. Schäuferl (many Franconian tavern cuisine could still learn something new); also nice blood sausage Gröstl; also an extensive vegetarian menu. When the room is busy, the guest room is very noisy and conversations are then only possible to a limited extent. All in all, a place for tasty, hearty Alpine cuisine. If you're looking for this, you've come to the right place - we'll be happy to come back.

After a hike from Seefeld Castle to Andechs Monastery and back again, this was the place where we replenished our energies. Were only in the beer garden. A beer, an ice cream.

Food ok but be careful. Rip-off at connected parking lots (see below)!! We were there on July 6th. with 6 people in the Bräustüberl. First of all, the food was mostly good and plentiful, individual tastes were not met but that just happens. Allergens were addressed very well! The service was overall ok. So far so good. I don't know whether the following is influenced by the Bräustüberl. Unfortunately, I didn't receive an answer to an email request: We parked at the Birkenallee car park, 2 cars and both activated the EasyPark app for the parking zone (parking receipt available). I have now received a contractual penalty of €47 from Mobility Hub Parking Service and there has been no response to the multiple sending of the parking receipt. This is a rip off and I would like to warn anyone using this parking lot at the castle, do not use an app and keep receipts. If the castle/restaurant has anything to do with it then the impudence is even greater. You won't get answers from the castle restaurant or from Mobility Hub... lousy scam.

Pure culinary delight with friendly staff who are on their toes. Beautiful atmosphere in the courtyard and restaurant. The dessert buffet was amazing at the celebration.

Attention: inaccessible to disabled people. We wanted to eat here recently, but unfortunately. You can't go there by car. You have to park in a parking lot and walk up a long, long flight of stairs. This is not feasible for someone with mobility issues.

This authentic restaurant is located in the Schloßhof in Seefeld with a large garden without trees and a gravel floor. The food was excellent, especially the sauces were a dream. The menu is varied. The prices are high level. The service is quick and very friendly. There are paid parking spaces above and below the castle.

We walked 10 minutes from the campsite to the Bräustüberl. When we got there we found a very rustic atmosphere and there were still a few tables unoccupied. We were served quickly and very nicely and the starter soups came to the table after a short time. The main courses afterwards also & everything was very tasty & harmonious. There is also a regional beer from Otherwise there is enough choice so that everyone can find something to eat and drink. All in all it was a nice evening and we were very satisfied!

Nice restaurant in the courtyard of the castle.

We were at the nearby campsite and stopped here several times. So the ambience is a quaint Bavarian restaurant (okay a little big). The food and service are highly recommended, friendly special requests or (children's requests) are fulfilled as well as wine to take away. What you should definitely try are the Obatzda in a glass jar and the Schäufele, unfortunately the Andechs Monastery can't keep up with that!

Very nice restaurant with delicious Bavarian delicacies. There is also a small stage here with regular cultural events. There we saw the program At the Finns by Gankino Circus. Very worth listening to music with funny stories about Finland. The atmosphere was great, and at the end the whole hall was bobbing and dancing.

Absolute recommendation: We had made reservations at the Bräustüberl for a larger group (18 people - family with children and dog) for their birthday. When we arrived the table was already festively set with a white tablecloth. There were also children's menus and colored pencils available for the kids to color in 🩷The ambience is very cozy thanks to the lots of wood and the vaulted ceiling. There were also (clean!) children's chairs nearby and the dog was immediately served fresh water in the bowl. The menus (including the special children's menu) offer a large selection of vegetarian dishes. The children's menu offers many favorite foods for the little ones and pictures to color on the back. What we have never seen before: there is a “Stibitz plate” for the kids. This is simply an extra plate and can be eaten by the grown-ups for free. If that's not great...? Most of us had soup with various ingredients (fried potatoes or liver dumplings) as a starter: nice and strong, large portion with lots of ingredients, delicious. Afterwards we ordered various main dishes (Schäufele, Wiener Schnitzel, duck, onion roast, lamb shank, venison, vegetarian spinach cream sparrows etc. Everything was very tasty, the plates were hot. As it should be. The service was quick and despite many other guests, dogs and plenty of children not to be disturbed. Not everyone could manage desserts, but those who still had room found their desserts (apple cake, Bavarian cream, ice cream sundae) delicious. The portions are generous, we were all stuffed. All in all, we were extremely satisfied and had a great family celebration. Finally, I would like to mention that the toilets were sparkling clean. It is no longer self-evident either. In any case, we would love to come back!

Bayrische gemütlich Wirtschaft mit angenehen freundlichem Petsonal und gutem Essen.

Nach einem kleinen Spaziergang sitzt man hier im Schlosshof und genießt das gute Essen und ein kühles Bier dazu. Die Bedienung ist sehr nett und freundlich, auch wenn das Restaurant gut besucht ist. Dazu sind die Preise für Speisen und Getränke absolut in Ordnung. Wir kommen immer wieder gerne hierhin.

Alle Daumen nach oben. Ich war am Sonntag mit meiner Hundegruppe 30 Personen und 16 Hunden dort nach unserem Spaziergang beim Essen. Es war fantastisch jeder war begeistert von der Küche. Das Servicepersonal war super schnell und total freundlich. Für unsere Hunde wurden sogar Wassernäpfe bereitgestellt. Herzlichen Dank für den freundlichen Empfang. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Tolles Essen, Bedienung war sehr freundlich allerdings hatte der Kellner fast immer den Mund mit Essen voll als er abserviert hat. Die Preise sind ganz okay. Das Ambiente ist gemütlich, aber auch etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Würden auf jeden Fall wieder kommen.

Das Personal ist gleichbleibend freundlich, egal wie viele Gäste da sind. Das Schnitzel ist immer sehr gut.

Ein toller Ort, um sich kulinarisch verwöhnen zu lassen. Wir haben an diesem Wochenende zweimal hier gegessen, weil es so gut ist. Warum? Es ist super lecker, das Ambiente ist toll, das Personal hochmotiviert und sehr freundlich. Wir haben die beiden Abende mit unterschiedlichen Gerichten genossen und es war auf den Punkt, erstklassig. Wir hatten eine tolle super nette Bedienung, die ihre Arbeit wirklich mit Freude macht. Das Braustüberl ist bayerisch gemütlich eingerichtet und es macht einfach Spaß die vielen glücklichen Menschen beim Essen zu sehen. Eine Top Empfehlung von Katja & Ralf.

Wir vier Erwachsene hatten ein super Essen. Hier ist mir die Wahl auf ein vegetarisches Gericht sehr schwer gefallen, da die Auswahl so groß war! Das Essen war auch für die Fleischesser sehr vorzüglich. Das Braustüberl ist sehr kinderfreundlich: Hochstühle, Kinderkarte, Wickelraum, etc. Super!!

Der Zwiebelrostbraten für 22,80€ war enttäuschend. Eine ca. 6mm dünne Scheibe Fleisch (ca. 150 - 200 g) wurde serviert. Die Sauce war sehr salzig. Die Nudeln verkocht und die Käsesauce vermutlich ein Convenience Produkt. Der kleine Salat für 6,50€ war nicht knackig und lieblos angerichtet. Preis-Leistungsverhältnis stimmt hier nicht. Dieses Gericht können wir nicht empfehlen. 2* Die Sülze mit Bratkartoffeln für 15,50€ war ok. Aber auch hier zu viel Salz. 3,5* Der Service war nicht besonders gastlichkeit einladend. Eher mürrisch und träge. 1* Da ich selbst gut täglich koche, bin ich im Restaurant kritisch. Ich bezahle gerne gutes Essen und guten Service. Bei Rostbraten erwarte und kenne ich es, das ein ordentliches Stück Fleisch serviert wird. Das war hier leider nicht so. Fazit: Mit viel Wohlwollen 3 Sterne

Haben schon lange nicht mehr so gut gegessen. Großes Lob an die Küche. Service war ebenfalls erstklassig. Urlaub ist heute leider vorbei aber wir kommen ganz bestimmt wieder.

Wir waren hier während unseres Urlaubes im August. Das Braustüberl liegt sehr schön erhöht, hat einen netten Biergarten im Innenhof des Schlosses. Das Restaurant selbst ist sehr urig. Man fühlt sich sofort wohl. Der Service ist sehr freundlich und aufmerksam. Es gibt eine recht große Auswahl an Gerichten. Da fällt es einem schwer, auszuwählen, eines liest sich leckerer als das andere. Interessant ist die Unterscheidung zwischen bayrischen und fränkischen Gerichten. Wir bestellten 3 verschiedene Gerichte, u.a. auch das Tagesgericht und wir waren alle absolut zufrieden! Große Portionen, sehr deftig und landestypisch. Sehr lecker! Preis-/Leistung stimmt! Wir werden wiederkommen.

Essen war geschmacklich gut; einzig Champions aus der Dose finde ich grenzwertig für ein Restaurant. Da bin ich Verfechter von frischen Pilzen. Schön finde ich,dass man zwischen kleiner und normaler Portion wählen kann. Wir hatten das Seefelder Räuberpfannderl.

Tolle Alte Schloßwirtschaft mit einem Fränkischen Hauch beim Essen. Vielen Dank nochmal für den Mega Abend gestern.. und den unvergesslichen 18 Geburtstag unseres Sohnes… Und ein großes Lob an den Kellner !! Sowas lustiges nettes und schnell… sieht man selten.

Phantastische, authentisch bayrische Küche mit schnellem, freundlichen Service in angenehmen Ambiente. Es ist nicht mehr so einfach in München/Umland gut (hausgemacht) bayrisch Essen zu gehen und wir waren von allen Speisen überzeugt. Dessert toll angerichtet, Portionsgrößen insgesamt sehr großzügig. Preis-Leistung top! Schön wäre nur gewesen, wenn die Schirme bei Sonnenuntergang geschlossen werden könnten, um das Schloss und den tollen Hof zu genießen. Vorab reservieren, v.a. abends, empfohlen!

Wir geben 5 Sterne ++. Wir waren im Urlaub auf nahegelegenen Campingplatz und sind drei mal essen gegangen. 1. mal ein super Kellner mit extremer Aufmerksam- und Freundlichkeit. Draußen gesessen. 2. mal Kellnerin, auch freundlich, aber nicht mehr so aufmerksam wie beim ersten mal. 3. mal anderer Kellner auch freundlich aber weniger aufmerksam. Leider wegen Wetter drinnen gesessen und das war wegen wärme und lärm unerträglich. Wir konnten das essen kaum genießen. Ich will gerecht sein, durch den ersten Kellner waren wir verwöhnt, alles gut. Die Speisen jedes Mal hervorragend und lecker und preiswert. Hohe Empfehlung 😉

Sehr nettes Personal. Das Essen schmeckt. Die Portionen sind mehr als ausreichend. Das Ambiente ist perfekt und bleibt hoffentlich auch so. An manchen Tagen wird Live-Musik angeboten und trägt zur Gemütlichkeit bei.
