Die besten Restaurants in Regen

Am 4.1.2017 suchten meine Frau und ich nach dem Besuch des Landwirtschaftsmuseums ein Restaurant für einen Mittagsimbiss. Dabei stießen wir auf das Alsalam. Wir hielten es erst für einen Schnellimbiss (es hat eine Take-Away Theke), sahen dann aber drinnen gedeckte Tische mit Stoffservietten. Das wollte so gar nicht zu den wirklich niedrigen Preisen passen. Wir waren neugierig und verließen das Restaurant etwa eine Stunde später richtig glücklich. Wir haben zwei warme Vorspeisen bestellt (frittierte gefüllte Teigtaschen mit Füllung), die uns so überzeugten, dass wir noch eine Nachspeise dazu orderten, die einfach köstlich war (Osmlah, eine Art Topfen mit Honigkruste). Der Koch hat sein Metier ganz offensichtlich nicht in einer Kebab-Bude gelernt. Alles wurde frisch zubereitet und war wunderbar abgeschmeckt. Ein Gespräch mit dem Kellner ergab, dass das Restaurant erst vor wenigen Wochen von Syrern eröffnet worden ist. Im Urlaub essen wir gerne und vornehmlich die regionalen Speisen. Aber das war eine gelungene Abwechslung, die wir uneingeschränkt empfehlen können.

Fantastic location, one of the best burgers I've eaten so far. Very nice service, price/performance perfectly fine. Would be a regular bistro if I wasn't just here on vacation. Can only recommend it ❣️

A bit hidden, maybe not so inviting from the outside, but absolutely great food at very reasonable prices. Hopefully you'll be around for a long time. We're always happy to come back!

In terms of taste, well, nothing special, you can eat it but nothing to do with Italy, sorry, no go, champions are cut from a can. Peppers don't work either, champions aren't even fresh, they're not baked on a stone don't ask for this.!

We have always been here as satisfied guests. Unfortunately the brewery inn has been permanently closed since Christmas!

Yesterday I was looking for "something to eat" in Regen at short notice, I looked for "döner" in the maps and found: Hakan's Kebap. I was surprised that it wasn't a normal grill truck but a solid building of the finest quality - almost too good for "just kebab". But above all I was surprised by the kebab: crispy, fresh bread, the meat juicy and soft, not dry like almost everywhere else. And incredibly well seasoned orientally - someone knows their craft! Otherwise: The three behind the counter were quick, very nice and friendly, everything was sparkling clean. CONCLUSION: I have rarely eaten such a good kebab as at Hakan, especially where everything around it is just right - no one can do anything about the fact that I was in a terrible hurry and just had to stuff the kebab in quickly :-) Keep it up! And I'll be visiting you more often now, as I'm always busy in the rain.

Quaint pub with very friendly owners. Drinks and delicious food at fair prices. In summer there is also an outdoor terrace.

The restaurant is open until 2:00 p.m. We arrived at 1:20 pm and were told that the kitchen was closed

We chose the restaurant because of the good reviews here and we were not disappointed. We were warmly welcomed along with our 2 dogs and the food was delicious! If we ever find ourselves in the area again, we will definitely come back here 😊
