We happened to pass by it and stopped in spontaneously. Was a stroke of luck. 😊 We had the vital salad plate, the cream cheese potato turnovers and the baked Maultaschen. Everything was very tasty, absolutely sufficient and beautifully prepared. Plus fair prices and friendly staff. The dog was also allowed in. Overall, highly recommended. We'll definitely be back.

We were hiking in the area and found out about this restaurant via Google Maps - a stroke of luck! Very authentic little restaurant. We were there alone and were treated very warmly. It felt like we were at home with the owners. Very authentic atmosphere. The food was very tasty (main course + dessert), the portions were large and the prices were very attractive. The current menu can be viewed on the website. In short: our expectations were more than exceeded! We would come back at any time.

Wir waren zum ersten Mal dort und es war wirklich ein sehr schöner Abend. Super freundliche und lustige Bedienung und das Essen war wirklich top. Ich kann jedem der aus Dinkelsbühl und Umgebung kommt oder dort die Stadt besucht dieses Restaurant empfehlen.

It took > 20 minutes for the drinks to be ordered, the drinks came after the starter, which also took over 20 minutes. In a restaurant that wasn't even 25% full. Unfortunately, the roast was only partially worth the price. I ordered “medium” and had to cut off almost 1/4 because it wasn’t fried properly. The “sorry” - given the price level - is not enough. One could have reacted accommodatingly. And the fact that after the main course the starter dishes, empty glasses from the aperitif, etc. were not cleared away is not in keeping with the price level. It's a shame because both the location and the food were generally very great.

gemoedelijke sfeer en geroezemoes van een bruin café. Met lokale mensen en toeristen. Met eigen gebrouwen bier. De steak was perfect bereid en de cognac saus was heerlijk. Ook de wienerschnitzel was heerlijk. De eigenaar vriendelijk en doet goed zijn best Engels te spreken. Ook aanpassingen naar glutenvrij verliepen enorm soepel.

Wir waren Mai 2018 für 4 Nächte in Dinkelsbühl zu Gast. Übernachtet haben wir hier nicht, dafür mit Abstand hier das beste Abendessen in der Zeit unseres Aufenthaltes gehabt. Schnitzel, mit Käse überbacken, Pommes und Beilagensalat - Helles vom Landwehrbräu dazu; könnte ich sofort wieder zu mir nehmen. Nette Unterhaltung mit dem Wirt geführt - so stellt man sich fränkische Gemütlichkeit und Gastfreundschaft vor.
