I felt like pizza - so my husband suggested eating here (on recommendation). It was really delicious, great quality and really nothing to complain about in terms of taste!! It is a small, cozy restaurant with an Italian flair. However, it is so small that the tables are very close together - which is actually a bit uncomfortable when it's full.
The Theaterklause is a quaint and authentic restaurant in Aschaffenburg. Located in the heart of the beautiful old town, guests will find everything that Franconian home cooking means, whether it's food or freshly tapped Tegernsee or Andechs beer, which is even served in a stein. We had the legendary Cordon Bleu, as well as roast pork and salad. All delicious and highly recommended.
The service was unfriendly, the dining room was not sufficiently heated, the value for money was poor, the last guests were at around 8 p.m. and were
pressured to pay
After a walk we went to the hiking home for dinner. Due to the warm weather we already had the opportunity to sit outside. The food was really good! Perfect after a long walk or bike ride.
We loved our stay here
Room was spacious, well illuminated and very comfortable.
Bathroom was spacious and comfortable as well. We were happy to have a large windoe in the bathroom.
High level of cleanliness.
Staff, management, and owners were exceptionally friendly.
Breakfast was excellent. Although not particularly rich, every ingredient was fresh and of very high quality.
The double bed was actually two singles put together, but it did not really affect our general high level of satisfaction
Good food and friendly service. The atmosphere is not a classic Italian and due to the location in the tennis center it is not super cozy. But this is compensated for by the quality of the food.
I was positively surprised. I had a red lentil soup. This was in no way inferior to the taste and quality of a soup that you get in Turkey, for example, from a family that has lived there for generations. The bread that was served with it was really adequate and tasted okay. Okay, since when you get such a delicious soup, a bread is just bread and therefore counts as a side dish. Absolutely recommended if you want to eat a very good soup. It's a shop that doesn't play tricks, what counts here is the product and not what's on the outside, which is what you usually get. So thumbs up
