When the boss is there, you will be served promptly and in a very friendly manner.
But woe betide you if not.
Today I waited for what felt like an eternity because there were 2 (!) people in front of me. Then the employee laboriously picked apart a whole head of lettuce. When I asked if he was aware that I was still waiting for my order, he immediately became mushy. Tip: next time just pick a portion and serve the hungry customers first (it won't be me, Schorndorf has enough restaurants where you will be served in a friendly manner)
Expired, but only by two weeks - as apparently also the hospitality of the owner. Instead of goodwill, there was pure drama and an attempt to subsequently make our food more expensive. To top it off, we were insulted on the way out. Anyone who behaves like this shouldn't be surprised at empty tables.
Down-to-earth cuisine without any frills. Delicious and absolutely inexpensive. Thursday and Friday is schnitzel day with special prices. Very nice service. Terrace with a view of the sports field and the countryside. Good parking options. Families can still afford to eat out here.
We were served quickly and special requests for pizza toppings were no problem. The pizzas were huge and we enjoyed them very much.
The guest room is typical of a club restaurant.
We arrived on time and were the first guests at lunchtime. Two gentlemen stood behind the counter and ignored us. After being spoken to several times, one of them eventually replied that the boss would be there soon. Despite reservations, there was no table large enough for eight people. We sat down and everything seemed fine. The boss is very friendly and humorous. The food tasted good, but the base of my pizza was mostly black. Not dark - black. The most disappointing thing at the end: when paying, the boss miscalculated by a full 20 EUR. It can happen that you miscalculate by a few cents. But not for 20 EUR. Luckily we noticed it, talked about it and after several calculations they gave me the money back.
