The rurally located restaurant looks inconspicuous from the outside; it is the club restaurant of the small animal breeders' association C 11. With a children's playground and a goat and sheep enclosure, families should feel at home here. Inside it is stylishly and modernly furnished, the service is friendly and attentive. Main dishes on the extensive menu range between 12 and 16 euros. I start with a "mixed starter plate 1 (consisting of "Pohpia Thood" vegetarian spring rolls, "Giew Thood" baked wontons filled with minced pork, "Samosa" vegetarian dumplings filled with vegetable curry, chicken wings, with 2 dips)". A solid start. The main course is “Pad Phad Khing (baked duck with ginger, onions, leeks, peppers and Mu-Err mushrooms). The finale is beautifully presented “baked, filled dumplings with coconut mass and vanilla sauce”. The main course is a good portion, but the kitchen is not having a good day. The dish seems strangely Germanized: the sauce has no aroma and the spices and herbs that normally make Thai cuisine an experience for the palate are missing. The region has better to offer in this regard. The smell of grease, which was clearly noticeable in the dining room during our meal, is even stronger on the way to the parking lot. 5 stars – Simply the best! I've been to many restaurants, but Rolf's Chicken Thief is really in a class of its own! The half chickens are an absolute dream - perfectly seasoned, crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside, and simply incredibly delicious. You can taste in every bite that they cook here with love and passion! The salads are a wonderful addition and wonderfully refreshing, especially on warm days. And then this garlic sauce… I can confidently say that it is the best garlic sauce in the world! Creamy, full of flavor, and so good you can't get enough of it. Thank you, Rolf, for this fantastic experience! Here you not only feel welcome, but also completely pampered. If you're in the area, you just have to stop by - the chicken thief is a real must!

A great restaurant with German and Croatian cuisine. Very idyllic location in the middle of a small bird park. Very friendly staff, large selection of food. The food is very tasty and reasonably priced. If you still need some sporting activity, there is also a mini golf course just around the corner. Very easy to reach by both train and car.
