Döner and Yufka are amazing! We ate here twice on our trip, and both times the lunch rush filled up the restaurant with patrons. It's one of the ways you know that the food and service is excellent! When we visit Germany again we will definitely stop by for some more delicious food!

You should allow plenty of time here; we waited over 1.5 hours, and please bring thick jackets. It's freezing cold, and the best part is, there's cold air blowing from the ceiling. When we asked, when our fingers were almost frozen and we were eating with thick jackets on, the answer was... That's normal. Well, not recommended.

Not very busy in winter, so I stopped here for lunch during my bike ride. A cozy restaurant with a fireplace, friendly service, and everything a chicken thief could get their hands on: They offer chicken, fries, burgers, salads, and desserts from a fast-food chain. All hot dishes are deep-fried (including the Maultaschen, a type of German filled pasta), which is unusual and results in a very crispy texture, but it doesn't detract from the taste. Some people have mentioned "burnt chicken wings" in their reviews because they're quite dark. However, the meat is nice and juicy; it's just the skin that gets very dark from being fried with the spices of the "spicy chicken," which is a bit disconcerting at first. The chicken comes in different spice levels, which isn't really my thing. There are also various dips (sauces) to choose from to complete the meal. ... The chicken thief also has a beer garden in the summer, which, located between the roundabout and the train station, is certainly not the quietest place in Kleinsteinbach, but a return visit in the summer will show me.
