We wanted to sit down, but the sentence "only for takeout at that time of day" was immediately delivered, which was extremely rude. I wouldn't recommend it.

Friendly family business, very tasty fresh food, quick preparation, large portions at an unbeatable price. Loyal customer for over 10 years and never regretted.

Wir haben uns Pizzen zur Abholung geholt. Pizzen waren bei sehr schwacher Hitze etwas angebacken….. Mozzarella ist nicht mal zerlaufen Nicht mal der Rand war knusprig! Schinken so roh wie beim Metzger!

Food, as always, absolutely top

Very nice, friendly and attentive service, even though it was really busy (holiday) and she served the outside area alone. So hats off to the young lady! The homemade lemonade is also very tasty and we really enjoyed the tarte flambée. We have been there several times and can warmly recommend Cafè Pause.

We have been here twice now and have been disappointed twice. Twice we couldn't order what we wanted because it was always out. However, the neighboring tables ordered the same thing and received it. I have often read in the comments here that other guests have had less good experiences with Schlemmerblock. The landlord is really hectic (it was like that both times) and you don't feel very welcome. However, the food we got was delicious. The chef seems to be better here than the service. No card payment possible and no decent hospitality receipt either.

Highly recommended. Even though the beer garden was fully booked on May 1st, the staff made a great effort to handle the rush in a very friendly and quick manner. We felt very comfortable.

We've been there twice now. On our first visit we ordered pizza - it tasted really good, even if it was a bit difficult to cut. The second time we wanted to try the pasta. My spaghetti alla carbonara was really perfect! The only point of criticism: we found the portions to be a bit small overall - we were actually still a bit hungry afterwards.

We celebrated our daughter's confirmation at the Pfeffermühle on May 11, 2025. We had a discussion beforehand about the schedule and food selection, and we received excellent advice. The day before, we were able to drop off cake and floral decorations. Sunday was simply fantastic; the table was beautifully set, and the service was very attentive. The food was fantastic; every guest was delighted with the quality. Coffee and cake were served in the small beer garden. Many thanks to the team for this wonderful lunch/afternoon.

We have been there many times and have always been satisfied. Very good cuisine, nice host, great cook. The atmosphere feels like it's from a long time ago, but somehow nice. Unfortunately the innkeepers will stop next year. It's a shame :-(

Unfortunately, it's an outrage – never again👎🏻 We've ordered from there for the second time and were once again massively disappointed. After this experience, it's clear to us: There won't be a third time. Although the food arrived at our house just five minutes after pickup, the quality was simply unacceptable. The "breaded" chicken was completely soggy, with no crispiness at all. The sauce was watery, tasteless, and far too small. The so-called peanut sauce was particularly disappointing, more like a thin, bland broth. For the price they charge, this is a real disgrace. At other Asian restaurants, you can get significantly larger portions and, above all, high-quality food for the same price. This is no way to treat customers; we cannot recommend this restaurant in any way.
