Route 66 in Ostfildern

We were here for breakfast on my birthday, October 3rd. I can only recommend the selected dishes, the super friendly service and the great ambience. Thank you for the wonderful morning. We will definitely be back.

Good Swabian cuisine in a friendly family-run establishment. Sunny beer garden.

The food was good, as is typical for Italian restaurants. The service, however, was anything but professional. The waiter came to our table every one to two minutes asking questions. At first, we thought he was unsure of himself or inexperienced and just trying to be friendly. But while we were eating, he kept coming back, demanding to take away empty plates and glasses immediately, creating a real sense of urgency. Later, he claimed to know one of us and repeatedly offered us desserts, even though we had clearly stated several times that we didn't want any more. It felt like a bazaar, where they were desperate to sell us something. We finally took something, not because we wanted it, but because he was so pushy. Then he said to my wife, "You must be 36," and when we tried the drink and found it too bitter, he said, "You have no idea, you're only 30." That was disrespectful. We were also surprised to learn that he was the owner of the restaurant—which made his behavior all the more incomprehensible. He came back literally every two minutes and started a new conversation. It almost felt like we had an appointment with him. If it hadn't been a family meal, and a birthday celebration at that, I would have told him straight away to join us—or I would have left the restaurant immediately. The prices were also exorbitant. In the end, I can't recommend this restaurant.

Absolutely delicious. Juicy burger and crispy fries. I'm thrilled. I'll definitely be ordering again.

The food was very good, a great selection and good portions. Super friendly service! We'll be back :)
