The doner kebab was a masterpiece – succulent meat, fresh vegetables, perfectly seasoned sauce, and bread that was crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. Every bite was a delight; simply the best doner kebab far and wide!
We went there on the evening of Boxing Day. Luckily, we had called ahead three days beforehand to see if we could get a table without a reservation, and we were in luck. We weren't disappointed. We thoroughly enjoyed everything. The ambiance was lovely, the service was excellent, and the food was divine. The venison was divine—so tender, and the side dishes were incredibly delicious. I've never had such a delicious venison anywhere else.
The rump steak was also superb, as were the vegetarian ravioli. The portions are really generous.
The two young women who served us were incredibly friendly, and they clearly love what they do. The wine list also has a good selection. A perfect evening!
We'll definitely be back when we're in Daun again!
We stopped by while passing through and were very satisfied; everything was just as you'd expect from a decent kebab shop. The curry sauce was really great, the hot sauce could have been a bit stronger, but that's a matter of taste, of course, and not a negative point. The price was also right, and the dürüm was really big. I can recommend it and will definitely stop by again next time we're passing through.
Stopped in for pizza and we enjoyed the Mexico and the Oriental pizzas. They were delicious, especially the crust! The service was friendly and efficient. They have indoor and enclosed outdoor seating. The place looked really clean and you can see the pizzas being made from any seat.
Rediscovered by chance through Wolt, I'm eating my 5th mixed wrap this week. I don't need to say more at this point, but I'm still very happy to do it:
The mixed wraps are incredibly delicious. Yes, so delicious that I could eat them every day (and almost do).
I've finally found a vegan/vegetarian—incredibly delicious!!!—alternative in Kiel.
Thanks also to Ali's mom for the super delicious falafel. 🖤
My recommendation: without parsley/mint and without red sauce, just with "white" and "yellow" (garlic and curry) sauce, and a few extra fries. ✨
The decor is rustic/country style, which is what makes the whole atmosphere so special! The staff is always quick with a witty remark and can provide information about food and drinks at any time. There's a friendly, family atmosphere that truly makes your time there a relaxing one.
The food is incredibly good, and even a "big man with a hearty appetite" will be satisfied! The salads are fresh, and the steaks are cooked to perfection. I've been going there for at least 15 years and have never been disappointed!
Before it reopened, this place was really great.
We ordered from here last Friday evening. It was the first and last time.
Nothing tasted good, except for the duck breast.
My wife and I both had udon noodles as main courses—one with beef and one with duck. There was significantly less beef than duck on the plate, and the beef tasted of nothing. It was as if it had been boiled, not fried. Not a pinch of salt, pepper, or any other seasoning. Simply bland, but at least tender. The duck dish, on the other hand, had almost twice as much meat on the plate, and the duck had a slightly sweet and spicy flavor.
The appetizers (dim sum and summer rolls) also tasted of nothing. Only the accompanying sauces saved the appetizers from being too bland.
We arrived spontaneously without a reservation, were greeted warmly, and have nothing negative to say about it. The food is excellent, the price is reasonable, and if we're ever in the area again, we'll gladly come back.
