The ambiance was very inviting and rustically furnished. However, there were no tables for couples, so we had to sit with other guests. The noise level was quite high, which made conversation a bit difficult.
The appetizers were very good. The cheese platter with five different varieties, served with grapes, dried apricots, nuts, and a crispy pretzel, was a particular highlight. The cheese balls were also very tasty.
For main courses, we tried a gourmet schnitzel and a salmon fillet, both very tasty. Unfortunately, the fries weren't convincing: dry, underseasoned, not crispy, and rather weak in flavor. The mayonnaise was also disappointing.
The friendly service deserves special mention. We had mentioned that we were celebrating our anniversary and were welcomed with a complimentary glass of sparkling wine. The drinks overall were also decent.
Unfortunately, the restaurant was incredibly loud, as there were two large groups present, and they were steadily getting louder. The timing of the service could be improved. The view is beautiful.
Unfortunately, the restaurant closed forever the next day... Thus, the menu was very limited... The food wasn't good, as only apprentices were cooking... A real shame...
One of the best restaurants around here. The staff has always been top-notch, and the food is even better. They always make an effort, no matter how many people are there—whether it's just a few people or you're the only one there with your family. Even as a child, I went there with another family and with my family, and my parents and the others said the food was a maximum of 5 out of 5 stars. So I give everything in the place 5 stars. We were there again recently, and we were served right away.🔥
I've been wanting to eat here for a while – and finally, it happened! I persuaded my partner to try the food with me, and we weren't disappointed.
Pickup & Service:
We ordered takeout. Even when we picked up, the atmosphere was great: All the staff were friendly, in a good mood, and even cracked jokes. You immediately felt at home – you don't experience that everywhere.
Food:
The food was simply delicious! The burgers were particularly good, and the mango dip was a real highlight – incredibly tasty. The packaging is also extremely practical and well-thought-out, perfect for takeout.
Outlook:
We'll definitely try the pizza soon. I'm really looking forward to it!
Conclusion:
The menu is concise but has everything you need – including drinks. Overall: super delicious food, great service, pleasant atmosphere. Highly recommended!
The food here truly rekindles the feeling of home. The vada pav and dabeli were incredibly authentic—it’s almost unreal to find such genuine flavors in Berlin. I also tried the khandvi and khaman, and as a Gujarati, I can confidently vouch for their authenticity. Everything tasted just like it should! The owners were so humble and kind, which made the experience even more special. I’ll definitely be coming back to try more dishes!
I ate at Napolike in Cologne-Zollstock today and opted for the marinarella pizza with cheese – and I absolutely loved it! 🍕✨
The crust was a dream: wonderfully crispy on the outside, soft and airy on the inside, perfectly baked, and full of flavor. You can immediately tell that it's prepared with a lot of experience and time – just like in Naples.
The tomato sauce was incredibly intense and fruity, with just the right amount of seasoning. Added to that, the fresh garlic, a hint of oregano, and the finest olive oil – a true feast for the palate. With the cheese, the pizza became even creamier and more rounded in flavor, a perfect balance between robust tomato and a mild, smooth texture.
The ambiance at Napolike was also impressive: modern, cozy, and relaxed at the same time. The service was warm, attentive, and authentically Italian – you immediately feel welcome.
Overall, the marinarella pizza with cheese was a real highlight for me, something you can only find in Italy. Anyone who appreciates authentic Neapolitan pizza should definitely visit Napolike. For me, it's one of the best pizzas in Cologne – I'll definitely be back!
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ (5/5 stars) – highly recommended!
The pizzas were excellent, the tiramisu was not tasty at all. Overall, it was very pleasant. The servers were very friendly, but they often didn't come by for a while.
We were lucky and had a reservation. On a typical Wednesday evening, it was packed. The service was still relaxed and competent, and the food arrived quickly and was extremely delicious.
