Very tasty food and very good service

Absolutely delicious cuisine served by friendly staff! In Ethiopia/Eritrea such a meal is probably a wedding meal, but I doubt whether the portions are that big. Very clever: the menu contains instructions on how to eat the food with the injera (typical flatbread) without cutlery (which you can of course also use). For people who are eating East African food for the first time, the mixed plate (we had vegetarian) is recommended. The bill turned out to be cheaper than expected with starters (great salad), drinks and Ethiopian coffee and we will definitely visit this place again.

Don't let the outside scare you and go inside. We were very satisfied. The four of us had a platter of everything and were completely blown away. Everything eaten up. The service was very friendly and the prices were moderate. If we lived in KA, we would definitely come back. We definitely recommend a visit to the golden cup.

Waited over 1.5 hours for food with no explanation or apology. Service only accepted new orders upon request. Food was OK.

We had the first zero there a few years ago, now again with expectations that were perhaps too high. Unfortunately, we were unpleasantly surprised that there were no crocodile, and there probably hadn't been a zebra for a while either, which was a shame. Cocktails are great, as are the staff and ambience, a homely feeling is successfully conveyed here. Unfortunately one of the pieces of meat was very tough and hardly edible. Overall, a very pleasant evening with great impressions

Wir waren sehr früh am Abend da, waren wohl deshalb die einzigen Gäste. Da wir reserviert hatten war es aber voll ok. Die Bedienung war sehr freundlich. Wir haben uns für ein Potpourri aus allen Speisen entschieden um einen besseren Eindruck über die verschiedenen Gerichte zu verschaffen. Es wurde uns sehr freundlich erklärt was wir da alles auf dem Tisch haben und wie wir es essen sollen.
