What a huge disappointment, and even sickening! I ordered gyros, and so did the others. The food was tasteless, thoroughly greasy, and simply inedible. We didn't even finish it. To make matters worse, I got very sick when I got home—nausea, stomach aches, just miserable. When I glanced at the kitchen, I was also shocked: it looked filthy, with trash everywhere and absolutely no hygiene. I'll never go there again and I advise everyone against it. A real waste of money and your evening.

The restaurant is very large, but unfortunately, it still doesn't accept card payments. Therefore, I'd warn you: definitely bring cash. The food was mediocre. Unfortunately, I only had a twenty-euro note with a torn corner, which worried the waiter. He initially refused to accept it, but then, with some difficulty, he did. Overall, a mediocre experience that I wouldn't necessarily recommend.

Unfriendly & bad food. Gyros were very greasy. I think the fries were refried for the third time, and I think the salad had been sitting on the counter since early that morning. I've said for six years that I would never go back. But after yesterday, I really will never go back.

Pits Gyros is okay, I wouldn't order much else. The döner is chicken döner, which I didn't know. I had the "Zwei-lander eck platte 'Lam' (two-lander eck platte 'lamb'), so you wouldn't expect a chicken döner with it, but apparently they only have chicken... Drinks are overpriced. The dishes are simple but most are tasty. The quality is inconsistent, sometimes okay, sometimes bad. If you want something that's not on the menu, ask for the price first. I asked for some spicy powder like chili flakes, which they often have in Germany... No, they did have sambal, which they often don't have in Germany, so I said, "Oh yeah, fine, give me sambal." I got a small tub, the same as the mayonnaise, but with less in it, and I had to pay €3.95!!!! for the sambal!!! That's beyond belief. I won't go there again.

You could see into the kitchen, which was piled high with used plates and leftover food, and was generally very messy and chaotic. The outdoor area, the restrooms, and everything else were in need of renovation; it just didn't make a good impression. The food was okay, but not a highlight.

I recently ate there for the first time, and I was really pleasantly surprised. Super friendly staff, delicious food, and a wonderfully pleasant atmosphere. I'd definitely go back. Highly recommended!

I've eaten well many times. But just now, seeing maggots crawling through the food on my plate was the last time. I got up in the kitchen and showed them where the maggots were crawling, even in a casserole, and then left immediately! Never again!

We ate there today. The atmosphere was very nice, the staff were very friendly, and the food was fantastic. We had three different dishes and tried each one. Whether it was the grilled platter, the Adana kebab, or the Champion Schnitzel, everything was delicious. Our son got an ice cream as a reward for finishing the enormous schnitzel all by himself, and because it was his birthday, he even got a sparkler on top. We live a bit farther away, but we'll definitely be back. We didn't know you couldn't pay by card, but there's a bank just around the corner. Perfect all around.

Our experience at Zweiländer-Eck Restaurant in Gangelt was very positive. It is a spacious and hospitable place where we felt welcome right away. The menu offers a variety of dishes, including delicious schnitzels and tasty grill dishes. The team was very attentive and contributed to a pleasant evening.

Unfortunately, we can't recommend it. We actually went because there were nice pictures online...unfortunately, we were immediately intercepted and seated at the front like we were on a siding because we had a dog with us. It felt like we were in a cafeteria, and the food on our plates looked the same. The schnitzels weren't particularly tender. My husband had a creamy mushroom schnitzel, and there really was one mushroom on it. The person at the next table asked if their glass was empty, but not ours... It's a shame, really... well, luckily there are more restaurants in the area.

Maybe the opening hours should finally be changed, now for the second time we were faced with closed doors

Too bad you can only pay in cash

We had a great meal there for a normal price. The service was also good. Just keep in mind that you have to pay cash.

We have been coming here for years and we still like it. Staff is always very friendly, have a chat and we have received a present several times when leaving. Food is also still great, especially for the cheap prices!

Delicious food just across the border

The bread for the starter didn't come, even though we specifically ordered it. The service didn't pay any attention to us from the start, there was no indication that the main courses automatically included a side salad. Therefore, we unnecessarily ordered an additional salad - without any explanation from the staff. Coasters were completely missing. The waitress spoke extremely loudly, seemed disinterested and carelessly slammed our salad plates onto the table. We waited 40 minutes for the food. Meanwhile, guests at the next table – apparently regulars – were clearly given priority and received their food before us. Our own waitress stood at the counter most of the time and was busy with her cell phone. The music in the restaurant was way too loud and didn't fit the ambience at all. The cream schnitzel was of poor quality: ready-made sauce, canned mushrooms and a frozen schnitzel. The plate was also damaged - with sharply broken edges that could have easily cut you. Both paper and soap were missing from the toilet. During the entire stay, none of the four servers ever came back to our table to ask for further requests or feedback.

Overbaked gyros have been a good dish for years. From then on it was very disappointing. First we were served it and the gyros was very cold, back to the kitchen, we got our same container back, but completely burnt and tasteless greasy. Despite the good appetite, I tried to eat, but after a few bites I unfortunately left it and asked for the bill. Our son had a pita gyros, which fortunately he enjoyed. A downer for us and we won't be back for a while.

I haven't been there for about 8 months. The last few times the meat was so bad, the chicken fillet tasted like it had been fried and when it was still fried, it tasted terribly old, tough, had a strange taste. The gyros tasted like old meat as if they had changed butchers who were much cheaper Very unfortunate, we always liked to eat there, but over the past year they have really been messing with the meat Unfortunately we don't go there anymore Such a shame that it used to be such a nice, good restaurant where you could eat well and at a nice German price

I have always been very satisfied, but the last 4 times have been very bad, steak always completely done, dry and gray instead of medium, meat is very disappointing, even though we have enjoyed eating here for years, very unfortunate

Large portions and friendly service

Very nice restaurant just across the border in Gangelt (DE). Very friendly staff and plenty of seating space. The menu is very broad. Lots of choice of starters, main courses and desserts. Extensive cocktail menu, happy hour cocktails after 8:00 PM. Also a lot of choice of cold and hot drinks. Always nice to have something to eat here. And not expensive. Quality of the food is very good. Please note: you can only pay in cash. The ATM is around the corner.

My husband and I eat here often and it is really our favorite restaurant, so friendly, fast service, food is great and hardly costs anything, and if you stay for a while with a drink, you get an ouzo on the house, highly recommended

Good food for a nice price Service is adequate and you can see how the food is prepared in the open kitchen. When the restaurant is fully occupied, the acoustics are not the best if you like a quiet meal.

First of all, the positive: the atmosphere is appealing, the service is quite nice. But unfortunately the food isn't that good: the salmon was dead and completely dry. In my dish, the meat was OK, the fries were unsalted. OK, you can add more seasoning. The salad had probably been prepared for a long time. I won't eat here again

Reserved for 1pm. Confirmation received. When you arrive there, everything is closed. Drove for nothing, never a bad restaurant again. Not worth a star

Well-organized service that can handle a full house in a friendly manner, bilingual menu with a diverse selection, a large hall with Mediterranean room decoration, delicious food. Hmmm. The only thing that is difficult is the acoustics when the house is full, despite the high ceiling. But a next visit is already tempting.

We were guests at this restaurant on December 14th, 2024. We were a group of 12 people, children and adults, and had reserved. Our table was in the large hall on the gallery. What we immediately noticed were the masses of prepared salads that were stacked on the serving counter. I don't want to know how long they've been there. The drinks were picked up and served quickly. But then we were made to wait for easily 15 minutes until a waitress finally took our food. And then it took a very long time until the main courses finally came. Except for the completely tasteless salad, the food was okay. But that was it. We wanted to order something to drink. Despite our best efforts, we were initially overlooked. We left a short time later after paying. Sorry but this is a big snack shop and nothing more. Mass instead of class and impossible service.

The meat was burnt way too much, rubbery, lots of spices, little salt and pepper. Then I had a severe stomach ache. Bill was incorrect. Salad without taste.

Nice and friendly but everything was pretty uncoordinated and without structure. The food, the menu: far too big in terms of content. If you offer Turkish, Greek, German, Italian, etc., it can't go well! Far too many dishes, you should concentrate on the essentials. The food itself was canteen quality. And in terms of price-performance ratio, it's far too expensive considering the quality. We were there with our little son and had squid rings and sheep's cheese as a starter. That was quite tasty and a lot. As a main course, a rump steak and for our short spaghetti Bolognese. The meat was through in places. Very laff and with my steak (I had one with mushroom cream sauce) Well the sauce was like from a chip shop. The Bolognese was far too spicy and the salad was forgotten in all the dishes. So as I said... a lot has to happen

A better fast food restaurant with plenty of space. The dining room definitely has cafeteria charm. The tables are very close together and the noise is considerably loud for many guests. There is a lot of service staff and the food and drinks ordered are delivered quickly. There is a star deduction for non-existent card payment. A no-go in 2024.

We had a great meal, usually with our son. They know us. We've been there so many times. And if something is not right, just say it in a normal way, don't shout. The boys, or men, work hard in the kitchen and usually serve the girls, who are also nice. Or the 'big' boss serves you. There isn't a wrong word to say about that. 😘

There is a lot of choice on the menu. Small pizzas for children. We were all satisfied. Price is great! We would love to come again.

It made a very nice impression, the ambience is nice, but you can't pay with an EC card. Then ordered different dishes with 4 people. The staff is in a hurry and it took a while before we could place the orders. You couldn't eat the chicken skewers, the meat was soft and watery, then a normal schnitzel that was absolutely inedible and just streaked and bluish under the breading. The other two dishes were OK. Drinks were ordered during the meal, but they didn't come until we were finished. Nobody came to ask if everything was ok, and nobody came to clear the table, you could have ordered dessert. When we got up and went to the checkout, the table was suddenly cleared and the checkout simply gave us a succinct amount. Then I asked if everything was OK, but I said no, the waitress even wanted to get the meat out of the trash to show me that it was OK. No insight ever again

We ate there, at first we were told it was Fanta Lemon, but we got a normal Fanta orange. We then waited almost 2 hours for the food. Instead of broccoli we got cauliflower, but the waitress advertised it as a pasta casserole so they didn't even know what they were bringing. There were no more ice cubes for the cocktails, so we were recommended to fish them out from the neighbor. There was a small disagreement while eating and we were asked in a rough tone if we didn't remember the number The explanation was it was something with pork and some kind of sauce. In general the tone was very unfriendly, not at all polite, it was spoken as if we were not guests there but some friends of someone, very unprofessional Once and NEVER AGAIN!!!

If more than one person starts to shit after eating at Zweiländer-DRéck, then something is seriously wrong here!

Delicious food, especially a lot of it! Nice people in the service too. We always have to sit 'at the front' because one person in our group cannot tolerate a very busy environment. I find it less cozy at the front than in the 'main hall'. But that doesn't stop us from having a nice meal there, the food makes up for a lot!

Service friendly and quick when ordering drinks. Unfortunately, the kitchen didn't have the best day during our visit, a relatively long waiting time and hardly any seasoned food.

On New Year's Eve last year (for my grandfather's birthday) I made a reservation with 14 people at 7:30 PM. At 8 p.m. they came to tell us that they wanted to close and that we now had to pass on everything we wanted and otherwise we could not be helped. (We wouldn't have arrived on time... yes bye). I was so angry that I walked up and told them that they could shove their food down their own throats and I was the only one who didn't eat or drink anything in protest. Bunch of antisocial people ruined my dear grandfather's birthday and also asked for a big bill. I sat in front of Grandpa but didn't eat anything. I WILL NEVER COME THERE AGAIN!!! Last year I went to Mykonos in Landgraaf on my advice. Here we had a beautiful and festive evening with the entire group🙏Honestly... you never hear me swearing, but I would have preferred to tear down the entire tent. Realize that we had already made a reservation 2 months in advance. 🤯😿 Poor grandpa. It used to be a great place with good food for an affordable price. However, it has now become an unpleasant, unmaintained shack.

As a guest you still feel welcome here! The two of us with our dog spontaneously ended up here late in the evening and were given a warm welcome. Even though there was hardly anything going on, we were still able to order food in peace and we also enjoyed it extremely well. Extra requests weren't a problem either. I've rarely enjoyed such juicy chicken! The waitress was extremely friendly and even opened the terrace for us again and brought water for our four-legged friend (without us having to ask!) She was so friendly and really attentive. Then when I paid I was surprised that it was actually quite cheap. An all-round successful visit, even though we were so late and spontaneous. We'll definitely come back when we're in the area again! The price-performance ratio is clearly right here :)

Well-run restaurant with an extensive menu of German and Turkish dishes. Schnitzel eaten with mushroom cream sauce. Not special. Kiloknaller meat, fries nothing special and the accompanying lettuce certainly not.

Very good restaurant, we have been coming there for more than 20 years, with children and small children. The staff is VERY friendly. And the menu is very extensive. There is something tasty for every taste. Good and affordable, and there is always room!! 😋

Extensive menu for almost all desires from starters, meat and oven dishes, pizza and steaks. Various combinations of side dishes that cloud the overview a little. But all adjustments would have been possible. Cold starter platter with excellent and unusual but tasty variations. Drinks menu is very extensive and also invites you to have a drink. Fish only on Friday. Fresh is king. Outdoor terrace still neglected due to the weather. All in all TOP. Pleasant volume during the week. Service is fresh, cheerful and very quick. What was particularly noteworthy was the coordination of the starter with the main course. The question about the possibility of taking the dog with you in outdoor weather (after looking at the photos) was answered positively. Thanks in advance. Will definitely come back. Not 100% convinced when picking up twice. But locally...1a and just a rarity in the region. Unfortunately here again... ONLY CASH... small flaw vs spontaneous visit.

Pizza dough was undercooked on the inside. The egg on top was half raw and the staff was silent. In fact, they didn't say a word. Definitely not a pleasant atmosphere.

It's been a very long time since we've been here, but it's still great. I actually wanted the steak because they are always good here, but they have become much more expensive than they were. They are known here for a lot of good food and that is still the case. We ate half and took the rest (as is customary in Germany) home.

Ate for the 1st time... Had a delicious schnitzel... Staff was very friendly, only when you had a last sip of drink and they asked if you wanted another drink and you said no, the glass was immediately taken away and cleared away. We were still eating and the plates were already being cleared. Even got an ouzo on the house.. Big minus: no ATM!!

Food is very much and tastes ok. A lot of drippings on the schnitzel. Beer is good. Toilets are fairly clean. I've had better food before, but certainly not bad. Price quality is good.
