A nice restaurant with good food and very friendly service

The staff is very nice and the food is also very tasty. But two heaters in front of the door that are not on is unpleasant for smokers. Either remove the heaters or at least install a gas bottle in one. After all, there is enough electricity for Santa Claus on the terrace, but it doesn't warm him up

Very nice atmosphere. The owner is cheerful, cordial and very hospitable. The atmosphere and surroundings around the place are fabulous. You can relax after a whole week of work, as well as escape from the daily rush and meet friends and organize family celebrations during the week. Very friendly, quick and attentive service staff. The food was delicious, plentiful and the price was unbeatable. The atmosphere is incredibly great if you love nature and there is also a nice playground for children. You can sit both inside and outside on two terraces. It would be an advantage to order in advance, although I think there is always a place for two.

We went here on vacation based on the reviews, but there was no mention on the homepage that there was no continuous warm food. Arrived, with plenty of free space in the beer garden (the website invites you to visit, feast and linger), only: you have reserved, the kitchen is already closed, I can ask again, no, it is closed... Because of the good ones We were very disappointed and had to leave without an offer of at least something warm, hungry and apparently unwelcome. A pity...

Beautiful idyllic location in the middle of the forest/field. The food was really good and the price is more than reasonable (i.e. really cheap). The beer garden/outdoor seating is beautiful! Really recommended!

When we enquired, we were given 2 times for a Sunday visit with 7 people, so we chose the later one (1:30 p.m.). We got there on time and the reserved table was free, with wonderful weather on the terrace. A super nice staff served us, the menu was still available with all the dishes. Despite a family celebration inside, we were served quite quickly and friendly outside. The beef tongue was delicious and plentiful and the mushroom soup and a schnitzel dish from the asparagus menu were also very well received.

We were at the Waldschänke last night and thanks to the weather we were able to sit outside. The surroundings are really idyllic and quiet. We were very impressed with the food and the friendliness of the service. It tastes great and there's really nothing wrong with it. I would say by far the best restaurant in the area. We'll definitely come back.

All I can say is simply fantastic, beautiful surroundings, pure peace and quiet. Great service, friendly waitresses. And it was really sweet how our 3 furry friends were welcomed, you can tell that you are REALLY welcome.

All in all it was a very nice trip + great food

We were invited last night and at first glance it didn't look like much. The ambience inside wasn't particularly inviting...BUT the service was super nice and I was VERY surprised by the food. I've been to a lot of pubs and restaurants, but some people would have to learn a lesson from this one Restaurant.Food is really very tasty and also very generously portioned. I will definitely come here again and can recommend it with a clear conscience. Thank you very much and see you next time

Waren das erste mal da, super leckeres Essen, sehr nettes Servicepersonal. Trotz das dass Haus voll war, war nicht wirklich was von Stress zu merken. Und Wartezeit auf unseres Essen war spitze, sprich wir haben nicht lange gewartet. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder 😊

Wir haben schon unsere Hochzeit hier gefeiert. Wir kommen immer wieder gerne hier her. Das Essen ist perfekt und die Leute sind immer freundlich.

Wunderschönes Fleckchen Erde... Im Sommer ideal für Ausflüge und Familienfeiern. Das Essen ist sehr gut und die Bedienung flott. Wir kommen gerne wieder! Nachtrag 2023: Wir haben Neuerdings ein sehr stark gehbehindertes Familienmitglied. Es fehlen leider eine Rollstuhlrampe, behindertengerechte Zugänge und Toiletten.

In gemütlicher Atmosphäre lässt sich hier ein sehr leckeres Essen genießen. Wir kehrten hier schon mehrfach ein und auch heute war wieder alles bestens. Wir kommen gern wieder.

Sehr schöne Lage der Gaststätte, Service sehr freundlich, Essen ausgezeichnet. Beilagen sind extra zu Zahlen, gut wer sowieso keine Sättigungsbeilagen benötigt. Sind seit Jahren im Sommer hier Gast. Reservierung unbedingt empfohlen!

Restaurant im Grünen. Wir waren 2* zum Abendessen hier, gut-bürgerlich mit Pfiff. Die Rindsbäckchen waren absolut top, auch die Forelle ist sehr zu empfehlen. Schöne überschaubare Speisekarte, man wird nicht direkt mit 100 Speisen erschlagen. Auch regionale Spezialitäten sind dabei. Schnelle und höfliche Bedienung. Definitv einen Besuch wert.

Super Preis Leistung und sehr lecker

Wir sind extra auf Empfehlung 240km vom Eichsfeld hierher gekommen. Tisch für 10 Personen vorbestellt, hat wunderbar geklappt. Als Vorspeise hatten wir gegrillte Peperoni- ein Teller für 2 Personen ausreichend und sehr lecker. Dann 7 verschiedene Hauptspeisen, die alle super angerichtet und super lecker waren und 3 Kinderteller. 😋 Zum Abschluss Eis für die Mädels und Kids( Heiße Früchte mit Vanilleeis). Für die Männer einen Kräuter aus der Region der sehr gut geschmeckt hat. Die beiden Bedingungen waren sehr flink und sehr freundlich und haben immer gesehen wenn ein Glas leer war und brachten sofort Nachschub. Die Reise hat sich für uns gelohnt und wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder.

Das Lokal liegt im Grünen und etwas außerhalb, bequem zu erreichen, mit großem Park- und Spielplatz. Eine kleine Idylle. Man sitzt im Freien gut und bequem. Die Speisekarte war reichhaltig, für jeden ist etwas bei. Die Bedienung war fix und freundlich, das Essen schmackhaft und reichlich, dies zu guten Preisen. Wir waren an einem 'Schnitzeltag' da, die entsprechenden Gerichte waren im Sinne des Wortes spottbillig. Die Getränke waren gepflegt und ließen auch nicht lange auf sich warten. Innen war alles sauber und nett eingerichtet, nur die Toiletten verströmten einen unangenehmen Geruch bis in den Gastraum. Insgesamt, sieht man von dem Geruch ab, eine gute Empfehlung.
