Super nice hotel, stayed there for one night 😁 because my son lives nearby... Will be coming again... thanks again for the lovely stay 😚

We stayed in the attic family room with our two children over the weekend. The hotel has just opened and is freshly renovated. The family room is a comfortable size, modernly furnished, and has a great new bathroom. The highlights for the children were the sweet surprises on their pillows, and for us, the fantastic view over the rooftops of Mittweida. Check-in is digital, but completely hassle-free. There are plenty of parking spaces behind the hotel. We had a delicious dinner at the Italian restaurant across the street and a great breakfast in the restaurant on the ground floor. Great hotel. We'd love to come back.

After its reopening, the hotel now shines in its old-fashioned glory. A truly beautiful business hotel in the old town. There's no reception, but check-in was easy. The number for the code is sent via email, so there's no need to search for your keys. Parking and breakfast can be booked for a small fee. There's a Greek restaurant on site, and there are other great places to eat and drink in the town. Even after the renovations, the town is still inviting for a stroll. The rooms are very functional; I really liked the mattress on the bed. I've rarely slept so well in a hotel. In short: a hotel where you feel at home.

The best hotel in town, in the heart of Mittweida. I was able to stay as a guest in the newly renovated hotel, and it was super clean and incredibly comfortable. I will not only return, but also recommend it!

Everything was excellent and highly recommended. Excellent value for money. Centrally located, perfectly fine rooms, parking directly behind the hotel, excellent breakfast, and friendly staff. Nothing to complain about.

The stopper in the sink was closed and couldn't be opened, and the basin was filling more and more with water. And at times there was a strong smell of cigarette smoke, which came from the ventilation in the bathroom, but spread throughout the room even when the bathroom door was closed - it was like sleeping in a bar. The next morning at reception there was nothing but a lack of understanding and no apology or compensation whatsoever. Oh, and there was only one socket in the room and it was behind the TV cabinet, which had to be laboriously moved...

Beautiful, quaint accommodation in a central location. Very friendly staff. The only thing that puts you off the idea of ​​staying on the upper floors is the lack of an elevator. The outdoor area in the back courtyard is nice, but could be better maintained. Overall, a great stay.

I've stayed at this hotel four times, and I've watched it deteriorate. At first, the reception was constantly staffed, and the service was very good. Now I have to get my room key from the safe because the reception is only open in the mornings. The rooms are nice and spacious, and the bathroom, while dated, is very clean. The breakfast is also dated; we used to get rolls from the bakery and sausage and cheese from a specialty store. Now we get pre-baked rolls and sausage and cheese from the supermarket.

The hotel is ordinary. Service arranged. But the cafe in the hotel is terrible, you can eat, the dishes are unusual, but something alive came across in the soup, for the first time this has happened to me.

Clean, beautiful, the hotel is located on the square, accessibility in every direction in about 15 minutes on foot. Peace and quiet in the hotel, great food for €5 and parking for €2, which is great!

We stayed here several times during our business trip, and...it's not getting any better. By the way, the beautiful pictures, whether they concern the food or the rooms and the "beer garden," are unfortunately a thing of the past. Instead of keeping everything in a bit of good condition, they prefer to smoke and do nothing to preserve it. And that brings us to breakfast; these "restaurateurs" should be ashamed of themselves; I can't describe it more clearly. One and a half slices of sausage, two slices of cheese, jam, some bottled yogurt, a meat salad, a hard-boiled egg, a couple of tarts. Oh well. Last year's buffet was abolished; the boss told the employees to tone things down a bit. We'll gladly not be coming back.

The room was clean and quiet. Breakfast was only refilled upon request. However, the hotel is out of the question again, unfortunately you can only book from Monday to Friday.

Die Zimmer sind hübsch und sauber. Die Hauptspots gaben kaum Licht. Ein Safe und eine Minibar/Kühlschrank fehlte mir im Zimmer. Vom Personal habe ich die ganze Woche über eigentlich nichts gesehen. Das Bett wurde in der Woche zweimal gemacht. Wir hatten zwei weiteren Hotelgästen helfen müssen ihre Schlüssel zu bekommen da man ausschließlich über den Schlüsseltresor an der Hintertür an den Schlüssel gelangt und der Code nur per Mail gesendet wird. Der erste Gast konnte den Anhang mit dem Code nicht öffnen und der zweite war geschäftlich unterwegs und die Mail ging ans Büro welche die Informationen vermutlich nicht weiterleiten konnte. Über die Notfall Nummer war in beiden Fällen niemand zu erreichen. Das Frühstück war okay allerdings war am Freitag kein Orangensaft mehr da. Die Frühstückszeiten zwischen 7 und 9 Uhr waren für Urlaubsgäste etwas früh. Alles in allem eine hübsche zentrale Unterkunft ohne großen Service. Wenn schon kein Personal vor Ort die Gäste betreuen kann wären mehr Informationen um sich selbst zu helfen wünschenswert ggf ein Getränke und Snackautomat

Sehr stilvolles Hotel mit schönen Zimmern. Alles sehr sauber und die insgesamt 23 Zimmer werden liebevoll gepflegt. Sehr freundliche und aufmerksame Mitarbeiter. Ganz ruhig gelegen, mitten im Zentrum der wunderschönen Altstadt. Terrasse mit Biergartenbereich, in dem man bei schönem Wetter auch die Mahlzeiten einnehmen kann. Sehr gute Anbindung an den ÖPNV. Tolle Ausflugsziele in der Nähe. In Chemnitz ist man mit der S-Bahn in 20 Minuten. Große Auswahl beim Frühstück, hochwertiges Angebot und sehr ansprechend angerichtet. Tolles altes Hotel im besten Sinne und ganz neuen Bädern. Völlige Erholung garantiert! Wir kommen ganz sicher gerne wieder. Einzig die konkrete Beschreibung des Check in (wo genau befindet sich der Schlüsselkasten) müsste man noch verbessern, um längeres Suchen den Gästen zu ersparen.

Das Hotel liegt zentral in der Innenstadt von Mittweida. Wir hatten im 3.OG ein geräumiges Zimmer. Die rückseitige Lage war sehr ruhig und man konnte wunderbar schlafen. Ohne Aufzug mußten allerdings 63 Stufen bewältigt werden. Das Zimmer war sehr sauber, das Frühstücksbuffet umfangreich und liebevoll angerichtet. Das freundliche Personal unter Leitung von Daniela Rübsam rundet unseren insgesamt guten Gesamteindruck ab. Gäste, die bereit sind auch etwas Nostalgie zu akzeptieren, sind im Deutschen Haus bestens aufgehoben.

Hotel ist sehr in die Jahre gekommen. Je nach Lage des Zimmers kein schöner Ausblick (Zwischendach). Für Durchreisende mit 1 Übernachtung ok. Lage ist aber super, da direkt im Zentrum. Frühstück wurde nicht gebucht, daher keine Aussage möglich.

Das Hotel befindet sich in der Innenstadt. Die Zimmer sind relativ klein, aber sehr sauber. Das Personal ist freundlich. Das Frühstück ist gut.

Sehr schönes, altes Gebäude mit tollen Zimmern! Empfang überaus freundlich, die Zimmer waren sauber, das Bad sehr schön renoviert!

Wir als ehemalige Studenten der Hochschule Mittweida, sind immer in Ihrem Haus abgestiegen, haben dort gefeiert und auch geschlafen. 2021 leider nur noch Bett und Frühstück. Das verbliebene Personal war wie immer freundlich und sehr zuvorkommend. Das Frühstück war wieder sehr umfangreich und in guter Qualität. Das ist auch die Meinung meiner Semesterkollegen. Na dann bis zum Mai nächsten Jahres. Die elektronische Schließanlage für Zimmer 16 ist wahrscheinlich nur was für Profi's aus dem Hotel. Macht einfach wieder ein normales Sicherheitsschloss rein. Ich habe die Tür nicht mehr verschlossen bekommen.

Schönes altes Haus. Tolles Frühstück. Die Zimmer sind okay. Leider kein Lift. Wir waren sehr zufrieden. Kommen bestimmt wieder.

Sauberkeit und Zimmergröße ist ok, ordentlich organisierte Anreise. Alles in Ordnung In Bezug aus Preis und Leistung! einzig auf Grund der Pandemie fehlt ein gut gefüllter Kühlschrank mit Getränken. Günter

War beruflich in mittweida unterwegs, die zimmer sind sehr sauber. Die Chefin ist sehr nett und der junge mann an der Rezeption ebenso. Sie konnten mir bei jedem Anliegen weiterhelfen.

Das Deutsche Haus ist definitiv "mein Zuhause", wenn ich in Mittweida bin (leider in letzter Zeit seltener): Der Standard reicht vollkommen aus, wenn man geschäftlich unterwegs ist und ohnehin kein Spa oder sowas braucht. Wer hier Qualität kritisiert: Leute, schaut mal auf das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis und überlegt nochmal neu...! Die Jungs und Mädels an der Rezeption sind nett bei ortsüblichem Charme und Frühstück gibt's im Land der Frühaufsteher wirklich schon richtig früh, ideal für "Frühabreiser" wie zum Beispiel mich. Will man noch eine halbe Stunde früher los, packt es die Crew bei der Ehre: Für nur einen Gast früher zubereiten zu müssen, ist das kleinere Übel im Vergleich zur empfundenen Beleidigung, wenn der Gast sonst eben ohne Frühstück abreist. Alternativ kann man auch hart verhandeln und bekommt dann trotzdem mindestens ein "Care-Paket" mit. Nannte ich es schon "Zuhause"? Ach ja, ganz oben... - nach Lesen dieser Rezension wisst Ihr jetzt, warum. Strong Hint.

Sehr zentral und trotzdem ruhig gelegen.

Ein schöner Ort für Reisende, die historische, alte Gebäude lieben. Hotel hat alles was man braucht, zu einem guten bis sehr guten Preis/Leistungsverhältnis, freundliches Personal, zentrale Lage. Parkplatz am Hotel war leider voll, konnte aber in der Nähe parken.

Waren nur für die Übernachtung (auch ohne Frühstück) hier. Sehr angenehm und unproblematisch war die Übernahme der Zimmerschlüssel via Tresor. Das Zimmer war sauber und für unseren Aufenthalt ausreichend groß.

Uns hat es hier sehr gut gefallen. Unser Zimmer war sehr ruhig und sehr sauber. Das Hotel ist zentral gelegen. Frühstück war gut, es hat uns nichts gefehlt. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich. Die nächste TV Anschaffung könnte etwas größer ausfallen. Die Betten haben gute Matratzen.
