We were extremely disappointed by the rather brusque manner in which we were turned away. We, two people with a dog, were passing through and would have liked to have a light snack or a cold beer shortly after 6 p.m., but immediately upon entering the beer garden, we were asked in a rather unfriendly tone whether we had a reservation. When we answered "No," the lady said everything was reserved and the guests would be arriving shortly. However, there were clearly several free seats in the beer garden. She also didn't ask whether we wanted something to eat or just a drink. We have some practical experience in the restaurant industry, and we find this kind of behavior extremely unprofessional. Either they clearly state on their website that reservations are required, which isn't the case at this establishment, or they check with unexpected guests to see what they want and whether a small extra table is available. This is how we've always handled it. From what we experienced, it was unpleasant and unfriendly. We cannot judge the quality of the food on offer. However, such unfriendly treatment of guests is already an exclusion criterion.

When we asked for a table, we were told that everything was actually reserved and we could only sit for half an hour. Unfortunately, we weren't allowed to sit at the large, unoccupied regulars' table. The waitress also pointed out that we weren't allowed to order anything to eat, so we only had a cold drink. However, no other guests arrived during our stay, which made the situation somewhat confusing. Overall, we would have appreciated more hospitality and flexibility. It's a shame – so I don't see any reason to visit again at the moment.

A nice, quaint little restaurant with a romantic beer garden, where the friendly owner herself lends a hand. As always, a wonderful evening with good food...

Unfriendly boss. Ambience moderate, right next to parking lot. When we just took a look at the garden (neither entered, nor photographed, or anything else), she immediately got pretty mushy (then she's not allowed to have a beer garden in front of it... that's a home problem) and defamed us in front of all the other guests. Some smiled at us and raised their eyebrows. She lost more than 2 potential regular customers that day. Better over to the sun broom or to CBC or 7 Linden or 7 Eichen. There you have a view and the staff is pleasant and grateful for the sales ;)

We left 80 euros there and wanted to order a wheat beer at 7.30pm. The answer I got was that they had already cleaned the counter and that we had already paid, which is unreasonable these days.

Yes, I can recommend it. The food is simple but very good. In summer, my highlight is to just stop by and eat a sausage salad.

A cozy beer garden with a few seats. Reservations seem to be mandatory, otherwise, there's no chance. Unfortunately, no one answers the phone either.

Small, cozy and authentic. The food is freshly prepared and tastes very tasty. Sometimes it can take a little longer, but that's why it's fresh. The service is very nice and child-friendly. There aren't very many tables, so make a reservation or call ahead or be prepared that there won't be a space available if you come spontaneously. Sometimes it can happen that you end up sitting at a large table with strangers, but that's not really a bad thing. The restaurant is a bit old but not unkempt. It's worth a visit, we come regularly. No card payment!

It's very nice there. And the people are all very friendly. And the food is really tasty there.

Special place, we go here on Ash Wednesday for a fish dinner, reservations are necessary.

Cozy, small beer garden. Quietly located with parking spaces directly in front of the house. Good value for money, friendly service. Simple Swabian cuisine. Unfortunately no kässpatzle.

Heute von der unfreundlichsten Bedienung abgekanzelt worden, als wir fragen wollten ob wir am Stammtisch sitzen dürften. Alle Tische waren belegt. So eine unverschämte und arrogante Art , dass wir nie wieder einen Fuß darein setzen. Dass ich diesen Biergarten oft empfohlen habe, bereue ich.

Klasse Biergarten mit leckeren Speisen! Der Wirt und Bedienungen sind Super Freundlich! Atmosphäre ist sehr Familiär. :-)

Sehr gemütlicher Biergarten, der Wirt ist super freundlich. Hatten einen Wurstsalat und Maultaschen, ist definitiv weiter zu empfehlen. Am Eingang heißt es, man soll bitte vorher reservieren. Kommen gerne wieder, auch wenn die vegetarische Auswahl sehr überschaubar ist.

Ein sehr schönes und kleines Gasthaus mit Biergarten. Ein Ort wo man sich wohlfühlt und gutes Essen wie auch gute Getränke genießen kann. Die Wirtsleute sind auch sehr nett. Mann fühlt sich willkommen. Preis-Leistungsverhältniss top. Kommen gerne wieder.

Tolle kleine Gartenwirtschaft, mit bester Hausmannskost. Selbst bei stärkstem Gewitter kann man hier noch gut draussen sitzen, wenn man keine Angst hat. 😉
