Excellent service, super friendly, very delicious food, all freshly prepared

There were four of us eating here today. The atmosphere is very appealing. The service was attentive and very friendly. We had appetizers and four different main courses. Every dish tasted delicious. The portions were generous. Good value for money. Unfortunately, we were already full and didn't have room for dessert. We'll be back.

We didn't enjoy it very much. The restaurant was very crowded, the air was terrible (no ventilation in the dining area; we opened a window, which at least helped a little), the service was tense, and we waited almost an hour for our food. The food itself was okay, but nothing special. Oh well. Maybe we just caught them on a bad day.

No matter which dish I've ordered, everything has tasted delicious! And value for money is absolutely top priority here. The homemade lemonade is also highly recommended. Simply fantastic and a must-try on every visit to Hesse. ❤️🍀

The ambiance looks much cooler from the outside than it actually is on the inside. It's truly a surprise when you walk through the door. The menu offers something for everyone and leaves little to be desired, especially for meat lovers. The service is super friendly and often has a lighthearted joke ready.

What can I say... top-notch all around. My favorite is the Djuvec rice. Highly recommended overall. A busy restaurant, popular even for lunch. And the value is right.

We've enjoyed eating here for many years. Unfortunately, the quality is steadily declining, and the prices are completely out of keeping with the quality. The schnitzels are cut into thick slices – no meat tenderizer is used, so you end up with a tough and inedible piece of meat. A good schnitzel should be pounded thin and cooked in a pan with butter, not in a deep fryer. Otherwise, I might as well order a pork neck steak instead of a schnitzel. The (ready-made) sauce is anything but tasty. Neither the hunter's sauce nor the paprika sauce, which unexpectedly also includes peas, are tasty; they just taste like flavor enhancers. The salad and fries are good, but that's about all the positive things to report.

One of the finest restaurants serving Croatian cuisine. The dishes are all excellent, and the friendliness and attentiveness of the staff leaves nothing to be desired.

Yes, I can recommend it. Very friendly and prompt service. The food was truly excellent. My wife had plaice with potatoes, my son had steak with onions and fried potatoes, and I had pork medallions with sweetcorn, croquettes, and Béarnaise sauce, and everyone enjoyed it very much.

I went there for the first time today; the food was prepared with love. A tender, pink Black Angus rump steak, a deliciously breaded turkey schnitzel, and generous side dishes. The restaurant has a lovely atmosphere that invites you to feel at home. The service is attentive and very friendly. There's a beer garden for hot days and cool drinks. Plenty of parking. Not stopping by isn't an option.

I was there today for the second and last time. We waited over 1.5 hours for the food even though the shop wasn't full and then got a meal that tastes better in any canteen. The 2 waiters were completely disinterested and the owner was arrogant and arrogant, so all in all I wouldn't recommend the restaurant to anyone.

Sad, watery frozen vegetables, bad ready-made croquettes, mediocre meat rightly better drowned in mediocre sauce, which fortunately had enough flavor enhancers to be ok. At least the ready-made sauce for the starter salad was ok. Overall disappointing, 100% convenience and not even good at this level. It's a shame for this actually nice location. The quality has been declining for years, but today was a low point.

Was the first visit here because of the good reviews on Google. There were still enough parking spaces available (our visiting time was 6 p.m. on Saturdays). We had to reserve online 3 weeks in advance because nothing was ever available at short notice. Ambiance (we sat in the restaurant) nice, attractive, very modern. Welcome very friendly. Even though the restaurant wasn't too full, we felt like we had to wait a long time for the dishes. Starters tasted great (baked pepperoni and breaded feta). The taste of the salads and main courses was okay, but different than expected due to the very long lead time for reservations.

Tasteful ambience, comfortable seating, courteous service and really good food, all of this makes for a successful evening and you can get it all in the copper pan. There were 10 of us and we all received our delicious starters and main courses at the same time, which was quite an achievement considering the restaurant was full to capacity! Super delicious food, very nice staff and very cozy

Admittedly there was a lot of football going on, but I had a bit of a carrot in my salad. That wasn't supposed to happen, but I pushed it aside and didn't complain. But the main course was totally overcooked. Super mushy spaetzle and vegetables. The broccoli was so overcooked that there was only the stalk without any florets left on the plate. This is what a chef or at least the waitress should see. In any case, the side dishes were not edible. When clearing up and paying, a complaint was made and it wasn't actually addressed at all. Not even an apology. 2 stars because the starter was great and they put a lot of effort into the decoration for the Germany game.

The copper pan in Egelsbach is definitely worth a visit! The food was not only very tasty, but also lovingly prepared and attractively served. The service was attentive and friendly, we felt well looked after. The cleanliness of the toilets was another plus. The price-performance ratio was definitely right here, we were more than satisfied with our visit. We would be happy to come back and can recommend the copper pan without reservation!

For Father's Day I wanted to treat my husband to some meat. The house record read excellently. Unfortunately, it was not like that. Since we picked up the whole thing I have to express my criticism here. For €22 the quantity is extremely manageable. The meat was not of good quality and was dry. Calling the wafer-thin strip a rump steak creates the illusion of a steak, which was not the case. The schnitzels were worthy of a children's plate, nothing more. The platter had more frozen vegetables than djuvce rice, which was a shame because at least it tasted good. This wasn't our case and we wouldn't eat/order there again.

As a regular guest in restaurants with different cuisine styles, I was excited about my visit to Zur Kupferpfanne in Egelsbach. However, my expectations were far exceeded! As soon as I entered the restaurant I was warmly greeted, which left a positive first impression. The ambience was extremely attractive, with a successful mix of comfort and elegance. The highlight of the evening was undoubtedly the food. As a lover of international cuisine from Croatia, I was amazed by the variety and quality of the food. The dishes were not only authentically prepared, but also tasted excellent. I was particularly impressed by the generous portions at fair prices - you definitely get a lot for your money here! Another plus point was the excellent service. The staff was extremely attentive and friendly without being intrusive. The drinks arrived promptly and the food was served to our group of three at the same time, making the evening extremely enjoyable. The location of the restaurant is also extremely convenient, with a parking space right in front of the door. However, I recommend reserving seats in advance to ensure you get a table. Overall, my visit to Zur Kupferpfanne was a thoroughly successful experience. From the friendly welcome to the excellent food to the first-class service – everything is just right here. I can highly recommend this restaurant and am already looking forward to my next visit!

We were here with the family at Easter and received a very nice and friendly welcome. The food is very tasty, plentiful and reasonably priced. We really liked the ambience - modern without being over the top. A big compliment to the team, who were very friendly despite the tables being completely occupied and served the food for 6 people at the same time and quickly. We'll definitely be back!

Great steak, unfortunately not optimally designed for a gluten-free diet, i.e. many ingredients with the reference may contain traces of gluten. Nowadays you can definitely do this with conscious purchasing of goods (gluten-free binders, gluten-free fries also cheaply). Otherwise, due to the holiday, despite a reservation, there was a very long waiting time (borderline with children, because no bread or something similar was served to bridge the gap) until the food was served. nice and very attentive staff. The taste was very good, even if the selection was very limited for me due to gluten contamination. I would like to see direct information on the menu about which allergens are contained in the food. I don't understand why restaurants don't implement this in their menu as standard. You invest time once and there are no more questions from guests...the bottom line is valuable time that you can invest in the service.

The food is always delicious, I especially like the grilled dishes. The service is very attentive and friendly. The ambience is neat. Unfortunately it can be a bit noisy at times because the tables are too close together for me personally. You can't complain about the price, the ratio to the performance is right. This restaurant is my favorite and always worth a visit and an integral part of the map of good taste.

Nice, fine restaurant with German and Yugoslavian dishes. If you like, you can try Croatian truffles and delicious wines from the region. Great service and always delicious. You should make a reservation.

Food super tasty and good quality

Have been to the Restaurant Zur Kupferpfanne in Egelsbach several times and have never been disappointed. Warm welcome from the boss personally and allocation of a nice place. Good selection of food and drinks at reasonable prices. The portions are very large, but upon special request there are also “senior portions” or you can share an order. Good beer, I especially enjoyed the black beer. The restaurant is always well attended. A reservation wouldn't be a bad idea.

Unfortunately, stars were deducted because there were no fries with our two special copper pan plates... and despite ordering for pickup (35 minutes, which we also had to wait for at home), we still had to wait 10-15 minutes in the restaurant until it was really ready. The taste of the food was okay.

As is often the case...a good restaurant that has failed. It started with the appetizers taking over an hour and one dish was forgotten...this appetizer came at the same time as the side salads. The service was actually non-existent because you always had to get the waiter yourself if you wanted something. Not once did anyone ask if everything was ok or even take empty glasses with them. Cold food was also brought to the table. After requesting to warm up the food again, the food came back unchanged without hearing an apology or anything like that. We always waited at least 20-30 minutes for a round drink. When we left the restaurant there was no apology or accommodation from the boss for the inconvenience...so it was just a joke. Service and customer interaction definitely have to be learned...so you don't feel comfortable despite the nice ambience.

Food, service, ambience... All 100 points!! No matter whether we eat in or order take-out, it is always wonderfully prepared and we always receive friendly and courteous service!!One of my favorite restaurants!!

I can only rate the beef liver but it is awesome. It's just a shame that it's always so crowded at lunchtime and that it always takes longer, but the food is no wonder ;)

Das Essen war frisch und gut zubereitet - die Pommes etwas zu salzig. Es gibt eine breite Palette von Speisen - auch Vegetarier kommen nicht zu kurz.

The place is in a main road nevertheless not so easy to see, better to use google maps. The restaurant is big and there is a big outside area just in case that you are wondering if you could go with a big group of people. The quality and taste of the food was good and the prices are fair. The staff was friendly and gave us some recommendations on what to order.

Sehr zu empfehlen. Das Essen ist sehr gut und sehr reichlich. Preis Leistung passt. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und aufmerksam. Selbst im Außenbereich ist mit Stofftischdecken eingedeckt. Das Restaurant verfügt über einen großen Parkplatz und einen Stellplatz für Fahrräder. Einziges Manko wäre, dass die Gaststätte direkt an der Verbindungsstraße Langen, Egelsbach, Darmstadt liegt. Wir kommen immer wieder gerne.
