We were guests in this tranquil restaurant on August 11, 2024 around 4 p.m. We took a seat in the small outdoor area. The very friendly owner took our order immediately. We had a farmer's breakfast, pork ribs and 2 duck legs with dumplings. When the food came we were initially amazed at the quantity. If you don't get enough here, you can't be helped. The taste is really 1A+. From our point of view, the food is very cheap and absolutely top. We felt very comfortable and would like to thank you again for the great service and the 3 small chocolate bites as we said goodbye.

Really great so-called home cooking. Large tasty portions. We had venison and wild boar goulash with potato dumplings. Really delicious. Price - performance is right.

So what I absolutely have to emphasize here is the service! We came with three dogs and the first thing was a water bowl, a nice conversation and the order. The food is phenomenal and more than sumptuous. We were fed up with cardboard and rolled out of the store. At the end there were treats for the dogs and also the people. We haven't received such a warm welcome in a long time. Would also give more stars.

Went there on Saturday based on the reviews and were thrilled. We took a seat inside because everything outside was occupied. The owner told us that a table was available outside and we sat down with glasses and cutlery in hand. Food was very tasty, large portions and perfectly priced. Thanks again to her husband, the food was amazing. We had duck breast with dumplings and red cabbage. The loving decoration is also inviting. Our trip to the Harz always ends in Treseburg in the Jägerstube for coffee with a delicious ice cream sundae. It's very cozy and you feel well looked after - but our Wauzi won't be forgotten. At the end there is a treat. Thank you for that, we'll be happy to come back

After researching restaurants in the area, my fiancée and I decided on the Zur Jägerstube restaurant. We were in the region for vacation for about a week. The telephone reservation was uncomplicated and friendly. When I entered the restaurant it was immediately assumed that I was the person who had called two hours earlier. The menu was impressive with many regional dishes, especially trout and various game dishes. The waitress, presumably the owner, was always extremely friendly and competent. Our little dog was immediately given a bowl of water. My fiancée chose the beef roulade while I chose the duck. For my friend it should be butter vegetables instead of red cabbage. This wish was probably a bit lost, but the whole thing wasn't as wild as the red cabbage was completely convincing in terms of taste (we say that as two people who are actually not big fans of red cabbage). When it comes to taste, I would like to throw around superlatives at this point. In addition to the delicious red cabbage, our dumplings were also completely convincing. The duck was the best I've had so far. I could hardly lift it with the fork because it fell apart immediately. The portions were also generous. As a good eater, I usually go home with a little space in my stomach, but today I was also very full. My fiancée had the leftovers packed up and was given an extra portion of vegetables and sauce so that the leftovers would still be juicy at home. The owner noticed that she had forgotten to replace the red cabbage with butter vegetables. We then got this packed up too. So we basically went home with another full meal. We had to pay €50 for 2 main courses and 4 drinks, so the prices are more than fair, on the cheaper side. At the end there was also some food for our dog. All in all, with the best will in the world, I can't find anything negative about our visit. The service was phenomenally friendly, the food was the best I've eaten outside in months and all at a more than fair price. I'm not familiar with the gastronomic scene in this region, but if this restaurant isn't an insider tip, then I don't know what is. We want to vacation here again in 1-2 years. We will definitely eat here again!

Here you can experience a lifelong master's degree summa cum laude in hospitality. The couple will only open the restaurant three days a week during their retirement. It makes sense to reserve in advance. Make sure you have some time to wait to get to the delicious food. The restaurant is not big but it can take a while if it is full as the couple work in pairs. He in the kitchen and she in the service. It's always worth waiting every minute for the delicious food and a starter soup is quickly at the table. Another highlight, in addition to the extremely delicious food and the exceptionally excellent hospitality, is the interior and exterior furnishings. Every bad review here is obviously due to the grumpy day or bad competition.

Yesterday evening we discovered the Jägerstube quite by chance on a trip to the Harz Mountains. Even though it was late, we were warmly welcomed and lovingly cooked for. On January 10th, 2024, we had dinner here in the Jägerstube in Treseburg with four people. As always, we received a very friendly and courteous welcome from the landlady of the "JÄGER STÜBCHEN'S". Very cozy and the food is an absolute explosion of taste Huge portion and very reasonable prices. Großartiges Essen mit Wohnzimmer Ambiente! Ich habe mich für Reh entschieden und mein Partner für Eisbein. Das Reh war super zart! Großes Lob an die Küche! Die Bedienung war auch ausgesprochen freundlich! Der Name Jägerstube passt ausgezeichnet, um das kleine Restaurant zu beschreiben.

Ganz toll! Wir waren heute ganz spontan zum Mittagessen dort. Die Gaststätte ist klein, gemütlich und macht ihrem Namen alle Ehre. Das Essen war köstlich und die Bedienung sehr freundlich. Wer dort gern essen möchte, reserviert sich besser einen Tisch, da nicht viele vorhanden sind und es durchaus sein kann, dass man spontan keinen Tisch bekommt. Ansonsten kann ich nur sagen - ganz prima 👍🏻

Super netter Empfang und der Hund hat sofort Wasser bekommen. Der Cappuccino war suuper lecker. Danke dafür wir kommen wieder !

Der Empfang war sehr herzlich. Der Service ganz großartig und das Ambiente herausragend. Trotz der Tatsache, dass alle Tische besetzt waren, war der Service sehr flink. Man muss erwähnen, dass beim Gast zu keiner Zeit der Stress (der offensichtlich vorhanden war) spürbar war. Die Bestellung wurde mit aller Ruhe und sehr zuvorkommend aufgenommen und auf Wünsche wurde eingegangen. Die Getränke wurden rasch serviert und das Essen ließ auch nicht lange auf sich warten. Die Gerichte waren alle wahnsinnig lecker, die Portionen kaum zu schaffen und das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis geht absolut zu gunsten der Gäste. Es ist mir ein Rätsel, wie zwei Personen das alles so toll bewältigen. Hut ab! Wer hier weniger als fünf Sterne vergibt hat nicht alle Nadeln an der Tanne. Auf diesem Wege nochmals vielen Dank für den netten Abend und Ihnen alles Gute für die Zukunft!

Absoluter Geheimtipp. Wir kamen am Silvesterabend ohne Reservierung und wurden sehr freundlich empfangen und bedient. Die Speisen sind sehr lecker, reichlich und dazu noch sehr preiswert. Gern empfehlen wir die Jägerstube weiter.

Wir waren heute in der Jägerstube zum Essen. Wir wurden sehr herzlich empfangen und der Tisch war schön weihnachtlich gedeckt, sogar mit süßem 😊. Das Essen war super lecker und die Bedienung sehr aufmerksam und super freundlich. Schon lange nicht mehr so gut gegessen und so nett bedient worden. Wir haben uns alle rund um wohl gefühlt. Schade das wir schon wieder nach Hause fahren und das Restaurant nicht mit nach Hause nehmen können. Vielen Dank für den tollen Abend.

Super nette und kleine Gaststätte. Die Portionen sind unheimlich groß und schmecken so köstlich, wie sie gut aussehen. Die Preise sind super fair und man merkt, wie das gute Essen im Vordergrund steht und kein Kommerz. Die Wirtin ist sehr herzlich und nett. Hat uns sogar noch mehr Gemüse und Soße in die Box zum Mitnehmen gegeben. Das war richtig toll! Sollten wir in der Gegend sein, kommen wir auf jeden Fall wieder! Das perfekte Essen für jeden Wanderer!!

Super leckeres , sehr preiswertes Essen. 100% ige Empfehlung für diese kleine gemütliche Gaststätte. Bedienung ist super freundlich, der Koch ein wahres Genie und das Speisenangebot genial. Essen war sehr reichlich. Da ich den Rest mitnehmen wollte wurde direkt nochmal Soße und Gemüse aufgefüllt.

Etwas unscheinbar von außen. Man darf sich nicht trügen lassen. Das Restaurant befindet sich auf der Rückseite des Gebäudes. Das Personal ist sehr lieb und das hausgemachte Essen wirklich ausgesprochen lecker und es kommt in vernünftigen Portionen.

Vorab muss gesagt werden: Küche tadellos. Bizarre Atmosphäre. Sehr kleiner Raum voll mit ausgestopften Tieren und als wir rein kamen hat uns eine Familie, die an einem Tisch gegenüber der Tür saßen, ungefähr 5 Minuten angestarrt. Hat sich bisschen wie bei Krabbat angefühlt... Jedenfalls war die Bedienung sehr nett und der Service zügig und auch wie das Essen makellos. Die Karte ist clever. Die Beilagen sind alle sehr ähnlich aber das Fleisch variiert. Dafür ist alles sehr frisch und es gibt eine gewisse Vielfalt. Gerne wieder! Obacht vor den Waschbären im Garten...

Ein auf den ersten Blick sehr unscheinbares Restaurant, wenn man es noch nicht kennt. Wir waren uns wirklich nicht sicher, ob uns unser Navi an die richtige Stelle geführt hat, für die wir Plätze reserviert hatten. Eine freundliche Dame empfing uns dann, bestätigte uns dass wir richtig sind und führte uns zu unserem Tisch. Der erste Eindruck war. Na- wir schauen mal, was auf uns zukommt. Wir bestellten, das Essen kam und damit der zweite Blick. Und dieser war - reine Begeisterung. Darin waren wir uns alle einig. Das Essen hat derart gut geschmeckt, dass ich mir eine weitere Portion zum Mitnehmen bestellt habe. Dieses Restaurant macht alles richtig und empfiehlt sich dadurch von selbst. Dennoch möchte ich auch meine Empfehlung aussprechen und bedanke mich von ganzem Herzen für die Freundlichkeit, für das nette Flair und natürlich für das super leckere Essen. Wir waren heute spontan vor Ort, weil uns die zahlreichen positiven Bewertungen neugierig gemacht haben. Die Wirtin war sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Das Essen schmeckte hervorragend - es gab keinen Anlass zu Beanstandungen 😉. Ordentliche Portionsgröße. Preis-Leistung passt auf jeden Fall. Insgesamt auch sehr nette Atmosphäre. Passend eingerichtet. Sauberer und gepflegter Eindruck. Eine positive Überraschung! Gerne wieder 😊.

Ein kleines und sehr feines Restaurant mit richtig gutem Essen zu sehr fairen Preisen. Es war so gemütlich und der Service war herzlich und freundlich. Wir haben uns sofort wohl gefühlt. Gegessen haben wir Schnitzel, Kaninchenkeulen und Entenkeulen. Alle Gerichte waren perfekt gegart, das Schnitzel knusprig, zart und saftig und die Schmorgerichte wunderbar zart, das Messer brauchte man eigentlich nicht. Schade, dass wir nur einmal im Urlaub dort waren, die Karte hörte sich so gut an, dass ich jeden Tag etwas Anderes hätte essen können. Es dauert etwas länger, aber das hat uns auch sehr gut gefallen, es war absolut keine Massenabfertigung. Wir kommen im nächsten Harzurlaub auf jeden Fall wieder. Kleiner Tipp, unbedingt einen Tisch reservieren.

Ein wirklich schönes gemütliches Restaurant. Mit ganz viel Liebe und Herz eingerichtet. Der Service ist sehr herzlich. Wir waren mit drei Kindern da.... 1 Jahr, und 2x 6 Jahre. Selten ein so kinderfreundliches Restaurant erlebt. Das Wildgulasch und die Kaninchenkeule waren göttlich. Das Wildgulasch war sowas von zart.... himmlisch. Die Eierkuchen mit Apfelmus... die Kinder haben sie geliebt. Ich allerdings auch. War wirklich schön, und bei unserem nächsten Besuch in dieser Gegend 100 % ein MUSS dort nochmal einzukehren!

Das Essen ist wirklich sehr sehr lecker der Service einfach toll.Das gesamte Ambiente einfach toll. Leider konnten wir es nur 1x genießen da nur Freitag bis Sonntag geöffnet ist und wir am Samstag abreisen mussten.
