Zur Goldenen Gerste in Mannheim

No for eating, yes for drinking.

While strolling through town, I happened upon the "Kleine Kneipe" (Little Pub) in the Quadrate district and thought, "I'll take a look." I was absolutely impressed by the cozy atmosphere and the very nice and friendly owner. It's a type of "small pub" like the ones that used to be common and are unfortunately becoming increasingly rare, where you can still sit at the bar and simply listen to the sometimes amusing conversation of the other guests. I'll definitely be back—especially since they'll soon be serving pilsner on tap.

The golden barley is simply an original from Mannheim. Typical German pub. We love them and always come in when we are in Mannheim again. Still just as good with the new owner 👌

Urige, echte Kneipe in guter Lage. Faire Preise und familiärer Umgang. Leider arg verraucht aber das gehört ja zu einer richtigen Kneipe irgendwie dazu.
