I’ve never tried such an unappetizing Ethiopian dish before. Everything was awful; I had to throw the food away. For the same price, you can eat very well at another Ethiopian restaurant. I absolutely do not recommend it!

A good sign when we went was that most of the customers had East African heritage. We ordered a sharing plate, which was very generous, and very tasty, with plenty of fresh injera. The dishes were all nicely spiced (not, I think, toned down to bland levels as in so many places in Germany). Very nice, friendly host. The atmosphere is relaxed, but a bit gloomy. From the outside it was a bit hard to tell if they were open! But I really enjoyed the place and would certainly go back.

We'll never go back! I asked about the coffee ceremony they offered. "That's not possible today," okay, then a regular coffee, "that's not possible either," then a water. He got us each an Aldi 0.5 liter plastic bottle and placed it in front of us (it cost 3.50). We each ordered something vegetarian, and he asked if he could put it on a platter. Of course. The platter didn't have nearly what it should have had on it; it was accompanied by ice-cold flatbreads. The bill arrived in a wicker basket. I lifted the lid and found a piece of paper with the number 38 on it, nothing else. Even when I asked, there was no other bill. The pictures on the website didn't match the plate we received in any way.

I'm describing a non-impression. I entered a dark, dimly lit restaurant that didn't exactly make me want to go there. But I wanted to try it anyway. After five minutes, I couldn't find anyone who felt responsible for a new customer, so I simply left. Truly, a restaurant without service. Sorry, but I don't need that.

We're used to Eritrean restaurants and were unfortunately very disappointed. We each ordered a meat dish and couldn't finish the side dishes because of the taste (it seemed like it was too old). The meat tasted good but was very rubbery. The room was cold, so we ate while keeping our scarves on. The server (who is also the chef!!!) was kind but unfortunately lacked professionalism (wrong order taken, difficult communication, not all products in stock).

We invited two friends for Saturday and reserved a table at 1 p.m. We stood outside the door from 1:02 to 1:15 p.m., everything was dark, and even a phone call didn't help. Too bad—the service isn't really that great. :-(

Small Ethiopian restaurant. The food was very good, 100% authentic. We were well looked after and chatted with a lot. We'd love to come back. It was relatively empty during the week, so we didn't need to make a reservation. The food was unique and delicious. It's reasonably priced, but the ambiance is rustic.

The food is delicious and a real adventure for the taste buds. The staff is friendly and attentive, which makes the visit even more enjoyable. An absolute must for anyone looking for a unique dining experience!

Sehr empfehlenswertes Restaurant. Hatten als Vorspeise Sambusa mit Fleisch und als Hauptgang den Mixteller Spezial für 2 Personen. Das Essen war sehr lecker und wirklich mal etwas neues vom Geschmack her. Mir hat auch das miteinander Essen von einem großen Teller sehr gut gefallen.

War dort zweimal Essen und es war jedesmal sehr köstlich. Die Musik macht gute Laune und der Service ist sehr nett und zuvorkommend. Das Essen hat nicht lange gedauert und es gibt viel Auswahl. Kann ich nur weiterempfehlen.

Food took some time to be cooked and sadly no Ethiopian beer in stock, but the food was spectacularly tasty and service very friendly. Portions fair and so was the price. Recommended!

Essen war gut. Für mein Empfinden ein bißchen wenig. Sehr freundlich bedient worden. Leider von der Bierauswahl (5 Sorten) nur 1 Sorte vorrätig. Kein Weizenbier an diesem Abend erhältlich!! Man sollte afrikanisches Essen mal ausprobieren. Ist wirklich lecker. Vom Ambiente hatte dieses Restaurant eher den Eindruck eines Imbisses. Aber es war trotzdem ein Versuch wert.

War heute zum ersten Mal hier. Das Essen war wirklich sehr gut. Vor allem die Teigtaschen aber der Rest auch. Es gibt auch vegetarische/vegane Gerichte. Familiäre Atmosphäre, freundliche Bedienung. Kann ich empfehlen. Man sollte sich öfter mal trauen etwas anderes zu probieren.

Sehr gutes Essen (frisch zubereitet), freundliche Bedienung, familiäre Atmosphäre und noch dazu ist der preis sehr günstig! Ich kann nur empfehlen!

Sehr freundlich, nettes Ambiente, fantastisches Essen, bisher alle Gerichte top!!! Waren auch mal als große Gruppe da und haben dann große Platten bekommen. Portionsgrößen sind mehr als ausreichend :) auf Anfrage kann man sicher such Besteck bekommen, falls es jemanden stört mit den Fingern zu essen.
