Zur Brückenwirtin in Oldenburg (Oldb)

Food and drinks came quickly after ordering. My beer was not cold enough, and the French fries were partially very hard. Schnitzel was ok though.

Wir waren schon des öfteren bei der Brückenwirtin und sehr zufrieden. Allerdings heute ging es gar nicht, war wohl der falsche Koch am Werk. Teuerstes Menü, Allgäuer Zwiebelrostbraten, hochgetürmt, Bratkartoffeln, Bohnen alles schwamm in Soße, eine einzige Masche und obendrauf Röstzwiebeln in unvorstellbarer Menge Alles in allem, nicht wirklich appetitlich, das haben wir sonst anders erlebt, sehr schade

Rustic, top service, tasty, decent portions

The food was ok, the Obatzda was delicious, the beer was also delicious. We sat inside, next time we'll try outside.

Friendly service and delicious desserts. We had Schupfnudeln and Kaiserschmarren. I can only speak to the ambience from outside. Here you can sit nicely on a terrace. The bridge opposite will probably no longer be built, but it would be nice 😉

The staff is just great, always up for fun. The food (especially the pork knuckles) was again top class. The beer is great as always.

Delicious schnitzel and strudel. Highly recommended if you like southern German food. It is advisable to make a reservation in advance.

The Brückenort has now really developed into a great meeting place in Osternburg. The beer garden and the Bavarian brewery dishes are really great. The service is very professional and quick. The chairs could be a bit more comfortable. You have to be careful with the portions, some are really huge and hard to manage. All in all, a Bavarian highlight in the middle of Oldenburg.

Very nice beer garden located directly on the canal. Very easy to reach by bike or on foot. There are a lot of trees in the beer garden, so the climate there is very pleasant. The service staff is very quick and friendly. The food is excellent. Potions sizes are very good.

Waiters were nice but firm. Food was good. Bierkutscher steak tastes good. The dessert with strudel is okay, but from the microwave. The Kaiserschmarn is caramelized and therefore sweet and hard. We didn't expect that.

Nice place in the beer garden, every now and then a barge comes by, shady under the trees. Very nice, especially on hot days.

I went here for dinner with five friends. The beer garden outside was very well attended. We had reserved a table. But sat inside. Phew very warm 😉 The food was very tasty. I had a check burger with fries, I couldn't decide what to eat. Half chicken, sausage plate with Krakauer, Weißwurst and...I think Nuremberger with sauerkraut and mashed potatoes. Everything sounded very tasty. We all enjoyed it very much. We will definitely come here again

At the recommendation of the waiter, my father and I ordered the goulash and it was a real culinary delight. The beef was so tender, the sauce wasn't too salty, just perfect. The weather was also in our favor, so we took a seat outside in the garden and were able to enjoy the beautiful weather. The service was great, the waiter, whose name I don't know, wanted me to cross the bridge in the water, but I still came across dry. Haha humor is there and I recommend it to everyone!

Munich / Bayern in Oldenburg :-) Typical restaurant as you see in Munich with the same menu. Friendly service and delicious food. More than enough. Was delivered quickly. After a day at Famila Einkaufsland Wechloy, eat a delicious Wienerschnitzel at Zur Brückenwirtin. In summer there is also a beer garden. View is also beautiful on an old bridge that is being renovated? Will definitely come back!

Due to the approaching storm, a service representative was slightly overwhelmed and also unfriendly. Were about to leave... The food was great and the staff was also great. But to everyone: don't forget to smile and relax... everyone understands.

A really chic Franconian restaurant. We were there on Monday for pork knuckle day and ordered the classic knuckle with sauerkraut and dumplings. The price of around €18.00 is absolutely right and the portion is really big. But above all the taste is really great :) The only downer was that the waiter basically ignored us after the first round of drinks. We would have liked to order another round of drinks, but we weren't allowed to.

We came here spontaneously and decided on a schnitzel offer. Given the cuisine advertised, we assumed that we could get a good schnitzel. Unfortunately, the schnitzels obviously came from the deep fryer and didn't taste particularly good. The croquettes that came with it were small balls that were actually fried to death. If you cut it, the filling would just fall out because everything was so dry. The rest was similarly unconvincing. The service was super nice, but of course couldn't make up for the bad food.

Very good meal? Prices are great and the staff are great 👍👍👍

We had the pig wings, called spare ribs there: they were poorly processed and not rinsed clean before preparation: there were lots of small bone splinters in them. The XXL ribs were very deliciously seasoned and tender, the potato wedges were extremely tasty, the side salad too and the beer anyway... I complained about the bone splinters at the service, 'we can do that' nothing'! ...my father (butcher) and a cook friend who are 'professionals' have a different opinion.

Very good plain food which also tastes very good, I just didn't like the very long waiting time, but I think you have to live with that because it is always very full.

We were there on a Thursday evening and, despite the nice weather, we didn't cancel our reservation to sit outside but instead took a seat inside. Due to the weather it was very empty there and we were served quickly. She was very friendly and, as already mentioned, very prompt. For food we had a schnitzel and the delicacies plate, as well as Kaiserschmarrn. Everything was very tasty and well prepared. We had nothing to complain about. We expected something different from the room, which is not a negative thing. Inside it is very simply furnished with a Bavarian touch. Important: allow time for parking. There are no dedicated parking spaces and side streets must be used. I would highly recommend “Zur Brückenwirtin” to try it out and for anyone who loves Bavarian dishes. For us it's only worth another visit on one of the promotional days, such as spareribs on Thursdays.

Sitting out here is the best thing for me.

Basically, we would be happy to come to you. Especially when the weather is great, sitting on the outdoor terrace on the coastal canal is absolutely great. The drinks menu has something for everyone and they always come quickly, even when it's a little fuller. We always experience ups and downs with the food. Sometimes everything is perfect and sometimes it is lukewarm, dry or something else. I would like to see more consistency here regardless of lunch, evening or number of guests. Otherwise, please continue to service like this. A little more when you eat and we'll come back more often.

I've been there several times now, sometimes in the restaurant or in the beer garden. The food was always great and you can't go wrong with beer. The waitresses were always friendly.

Apart from the staff's lack of Bavarian language skills, you could easily believe that you are in the beer garden not on the Hunte but on the Isar. Half duck with dumplings and homemade red cabbage and the vegan burger was also of very good quality. Thanks to the kitchen.

Super tasty Jägerschnitzel eaten with fried potatoes. The fried potatoes were very good. The champion sauce is cooked with fresh champions. The schnitzel is of great quality. The service is quick and friendly. I sat inside. I can't say how it works in the beer garden. The Bavarian flair is a little missing.

I had cheese spaetzle with almost no cheese and fried onions from the package. The criticism I asked for was dismissed with “everyone likes it differently”. There were also far too few waiters and apparently also cooks for the numerous tables. Never again, here you only pay for the location.

Unfortunately I was extremely disappointed. I drove 30 kilometers because I didn't feel like making bread dumplings at home and I was really looking forward to it and unfortunately I had a black, thick hair in my food. When I was asked if everything was okay, I said that unfortunately I had hair in my food. We were then brought a shot that we couldn't drink. I could only eat a third of the food. I was just happy that my kitchen stayed cold for once and that I let others cook for me after work and then I wasn't full. Then why do I have to pay for my food? That really hurts.

Spontaneous visit because we heard so many good things. And? You were right... We decided on the Bergsteigerschnitzel on Schnitzel Tuesday. What can you say? Top quality of the dish, not “pressed schnitzel”, but meat. Service was appropriate and also very good. Addition: We wanted to eat spareribs again. However, this is only possible by pre-ordering, which you can only see at second glance and the waiter said that it is only possible from 6 p.m. - at least that's not what it says anywhere.

Well, I went to lunch twice in a short space of time because each time I had nothing to eat. Friendliness couldn't be surpassed. Went there to eat spare ribs. Unfortunately the ribs were chopped, so you constantly had small bone fragments in your mouth, which wasn't great. My colleagues were of the same opinion. Otherwise, the knuckle would be recommended, which I had on a previous visit.

A majestic place to eat in Oldenburg! As far as I understood it is a Bavariam restaurant, and it has a unique atmosphere and interior to be in. The food was so delicious and the portion of schnitzel so big that you can easily split it in two and still have enough to be full! All the waiters were very nice, polite and always helpful. Thank you so much for having us!

You can have a really tasty meal here, easy to reach from the motorway, about 1km away, I can definitely recommend it. The service was very friendly, the portion size was absolutely sufficient and the price was also reasonable.

I ordered a fried chicken. The chicken was made in the deep fryer, was very light and tasted like frying fat. That's what I told them.

We were guests today to celebrate my father-in-law's birthday with 9 people. We were warmly welcomed by a young lady who showed us to our table. However, our waiter apparently had a bad day. Even when taking the drink he was unfriendly and overwhelmed. Except for 2 people, we had our drinks after about 20 minutes. When asked where the other two drinks were, he replied very harshly that they had been ordered and would be coming soon. That took another good 20 minutes. Unfortunately, when the food order was taken, there was no trace of friendliness. Well, the restaurant was very full, but nevertheless, friendliness should not be a foreign concept for a waitress. Unfortunately, guests at the next table were also attacked. While eating, we noticed that the Wirthausschnitzel was missing a side salad (the question about this remained unanswered). In the case of the knuckles, the red cabbage was almost cold and the dumplings were very small, something we as Franconians are not familiar with. The breadcrumbs fried in butter on top were great. That's the way it has to be! Unfortunately, for the vegan burgers with fries and the mountaineering schnitzel, we weren't asked whether we would like ketchup or mayo with them. The Wirthausschnitzel was asked for, but mayonaise came instead of the ketchup we ordered. Didn't order it, but at least it was better than dry fries. ;-) Another waiter who served us food was very friendly and accommodating, we are happy to give him and the friendly lady at the reception a star. He also immediately brought us new fries after a small mishap. That was great. Otherwise, the food was also very tasty and the Odl, a Bavarian herbal liqueur at the end rounded the whole thing off nicely. Except for the unfriendly waiter, it was a nice evening. We'll be happy to come back when we visit again. P.S.: Next time please pour the dark Hefeweizen into a corresponding wheat glass, otherwise the beer drinker's heart will cry. ;-)

Very tasty main courses. We were all there as a group and pre-ordered. Unfortunately there were no tickets for drinks or desserts. Unfortunately we don't have a water view.

Basically the food is good, as a regular customer I regularly order there to pick up. But that no longer seems to be important enough. Accordingly, I was rudely cut off on the phone and hung up on me - then not.

If you come by car, you need a little patience and luck to find a parking space. It's best to come by bike, that's perfect. We'll be back or we've already been there again.

Unser "Erwachsenen-Essen" war gut, das der Kinder leider nicht. Sie hatten Kartoffelpuffer, die nach altem Fett schmeckten und haben kaum was davon gegessen.

We had reserved a table inside. Due to the good weather today, it wasn't a problem to go outside. We were outside and the food (we had roast pork and farmer's feast) was excellent. Really great quality and hard to do. Many thanks to the Brückenwirtin team and we would be happy to come back.

A chic little Bavarian restaurant in the north. The opportunity to sit outside at the Hunte is a particularly nice bonus. The menu includes Bavarian dishes and also specialties from the north. I had the farmer’s feast “Zur Brückenwirtin”. The crust on the knuckle was super tasty. But you really have to work with a fork and knife to get through there. Because the Cäcilienbrücke was torn down, it has become very quiet in the corner. So a thumbs up from me for this restaurant.

The beer garden is in a really great location and the waitresses are super friendly! You can eat Käsespätzle and Kaiserschmarrn, but they are far from the “original”. The Käsespätzle are more like spaetzle with a gritty cheese sauce and the Kaiserschmarrn is very dry, heavily caramelized and very lemony in taste. I found the semolina dumplings and the veal schnitzel to be really excellent.

Always good. Whether as a couple or as a group. Keep it up!!

The first time I was there it was super tasty, the knuckle was a poem... so delicious. The service was super nice and friendly. And the ambience and selection (food) was great. I'm really looking forward to going there again.

We can highly recommend the kale and asparagus there with schnitzel. The schnitzels are huge and taste very good. The shop makes the best Kaiserschmarn I've ever tasted.
