A truly excellent, traditional restaurant with really delicious food. It's a place you'll always want to go back to!

I was there yesterday evening (November 8th) for the regular get-together to watch football, etc. I only had a drink, but according to those present, the food is supposed to be quite good. I'll try it next time. Otherwise, a very nice atmosphere, very cozy, and very friendly staff. I'll definitely be back. 😉👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

It was a lovely evening with delicious food and incredibly kind and friendly service. It was a bit noisy due to the large room, but really very nice. I will definitely come back.

Typical dishes from a menu like in any other Rhenish brewery. And here, too, the passion for good, traditional preparation is lacking 😥 The quality of the food is mediocre and has unfortunately declined over the past 6 years. Some "highlights": - Beer snacks (Mettbrötchen), I'm a true Cologne native, and then, just like that: no fresh roll or, as in the Cologne neighborhood, a must-have "Röggelchen," no, here only a warmed-up baguette: This is a no-go in a good brewery - All schnitzels are a disappointment probably a convenience product from the neighborhood of "I want something quick" 😂 - Likewise, the soft fried potatoes from the quick bag without onions or added bacon - Sauces without flair and almost tasteless. Unilever and the like. They do... At best, the changing seasonal menu offers alternatives. Overall, the food served suggests a very high proportion of convenience products, at inflated prices. Conclusion: For me, the quality is comparable to the well-known breweries in Cologne. 🥴 And that's why I've been avoiding them for decades 😂 For me, there are much better alternatives in the surrounding area (e.g., Dellbrück, Refrath, Strunden) or further afield, like in Brühl.

Hello, dear Weiße Pferdchen team, we ate at your place again just yesterday. It was delicious, the waitress was super nice, and sitting outside is very pleasant!! I really liked the vegetarian tarte flambée, very tasty and crispy 😋 A friend of my husband and I came here for the first time yesterday, and he was also very impressed and said he couldn't get food that good at his home in Gummersbach 😀 Please keep up the good work, we'll be back soon. We've been here again for a while. What can I say... Rump steak with pepper sauce, absolutely fantastic meat, but for God's sake, why do they have to ruin the whole thing with the cheapest Maggi sniffle? It's awful to ruin such a great beef like that. Apparently, the kitchen assistant was in charge of the pot. Never again, what a waste of money.

We discovered this place while passing by after a long bike ride. The waitresses were very attentive and incredibly friendly. We were on first-name terms and felt instantly at home in the restaurant. The food was delicious and the portions generous. The setting may be close to the main road, but the large trees make it less noticeable. We'd be happy to come back.

I had schnitzel with cranberry hollandaise sauce. It was delicious, and it came with a small salad. Excellent value for money. Very nice beer garden. Very easy to reach from the B506. I'd be happy to come back.

A restaurant with a beer garden. Friendly and attentive staff, fresh food, nothing convenience-oriented. The fried potatoes and salad didn't come from a bag. Everything is freshly prepared. There's more than just a veggie burger.

I really enjoy going to the Pferdchen. The service is very good, and the menu is regularly updated with new dishes. Reservations are recommended.

Came here visiting a friend and the food was really high quality - ordered the leberkäse and everything was cooked perfectly. Great staff who were accommodating and friendly, a constant supply of kölsch too!

The Wiener Schnitzel was a frozen product from the deep fryer, and the fries were so crispy they were almost dusty. The best part of the meal was the side salad. The fried potatoes had no seasoning and were sometimes mushy and greasy. Either the chef can't do better or he's just fed up with his job.

Service solid, food at best average. Restaurant with outdoor area. The main courses are at best of average quality at the usual restaurant prices. In my case, the steak was too raw for medium rare and the meat was very fibrous/watery. The service was very nice and prompt. OK for a sociable evening. There are better culinary alternatives!

We were guests at the Weisses Pferdechen for the first time last night and were impressed by the cozy brewery atmosphere. Despite the restaurant being full, the service was friendly and accommodating. For dinner I had a farmer's omelette, which was really delicious. A large portion for a reasonable price. We will definitely come back.

Wir waren heute Abend zum ersten Mal Gäste im Weissen Pferdchen und waren angetan von der gemütlichen Brauhausatmosphäre. Trotz der vollbesetzten Gaststätte war die Bedienung freundlich und zuvorkommend. Zum Essen hatte ich ein Bauernomelette, was wirklich sehr lecker war. Eine große Portion zu einem angemessenen Preis. Wir werden sicher wiederkommen.

Been there many times over the last few years. Unfortunately, the food is often disappointing. Curry sausage with cartilage inside is already very weak. If you ask, there's nothing you can do about it - it's up to the supplier. Well, then you probably shouldn't buy the cheapest ingredients.

The "Headless Horseman"... ... 5 stars for the name alone! I hereby submit a request to the management of "Zum Weiße Pferdechen" to include this special citizen in the all-year-round menu. Reason: This burger tops all other burgers that come with bread or a usually soggy bun top. This burger combination called "Headless Rider" forgoes the bread and enriches the burger with two delicious potato pancake slices. A successful combination, very tasty, nutritious and an excellent meal. And the mostly soggy rolls, which are rarely eaten whole anyway, don't end up in the food waste. This also makes potato pancakes an ecologically sustainable culinary treat for citizens. If you can still go with the horse team, you can also get very tasty fried potatoes with this potato pancake burger instead of the fries; at no extra charge. What more could you want! I always enjoy coming back to my hometown to eat here. Unfortunately, my favorite dish has become more than 60% more expensive in about a year, and the fries on the side have been significantly reduced. Drastic price increase + smaller portion is a combination that I can no longer regularly afford with my income. Unfortunately it means fewer visits, but when I can afford it, I'm still thrilled.

Wir haben uns dort mit Freunden getroffen und haben im Biergarten einen schönen Abend verbracht, das Wetter war gut und auch der Service passte. Die Speisekarte hat eine Vielzahl von Gerichten, wobei ich glaube , wenn man sie etwas reduzieren würde, könnte man etwas mehr Wert auf Qualität legen. Denn ich war von meinem Burger nur durchschnittlich begeistert. Er war zwar schön angerichtet und zusammen mit den Fritten hatte ich bei dem Anblick auch richtig Hunger. Dann wurde ich leider enttäuscht, denn der Fleischpatty war vermutlich TK, denn er war ohne Geschmack, nicht saftig und vermutlich maschinell gepresst. Da war meine Enttäuschung groß, wobei mit der Soße,dem Salat und den anderen Sachen konnte man ihn essen. Letztendlich passte dann das Preis-/ Leistungsverhätnis nicht

It's very nice there, large beer garden, staff very quick and courteous, extensive selection on the menu, food plentiful and absolutely delicious, everyone will find something there. You should definitely read the children's menus - whoever doesn't smile e.g. I do not like that, I don't know etc. 😀 Entrance at ground level - toilets too, There are slides for the children in the beer garden - I particularly liked that, it's nice - that they also think about our kids.

Today was the first time we went to the “Zum Weiße Pferdechen” and we didn’t look after it. With the nice weather it was great to sit outside in the beer garden. The staff was friendly and very quick.... My mother had the offer from the weekly menu "Big beans with Mettwurst and fried potatoes" wow... Simply delicious, unfortunately I was only allowed to try it once 😄. I had the crispy chicken burger. This one was made with Chinese cabbage and served with fries... Well, I never thought Chinese cabbage would taste so good on a burger. All in all, it wasn't the last time I was there, should I be in the area again 🤩

Nice little brewery with a simple menu and delicious food. The service is excellent and the staff very friendly. Unfortunately, parking options are limited, which makes parking on site a little more difficult. I would still like to come back.

Nice quaint restaurant. Delicious food and great service. Rarely have we experienced such a fast and good service without seeming to be intrusive. I personally like this a lot. The drinks service in particular can be optimized in most other local areas. It was a great evening. We'll definitely be back

We were there in a larger group (15 people) and were warmly welcomed. Drinks came quickly and the service was nice. I had a grill plate, the meat was perfect for me, but the fried potatoes were not recommended. The other dishes were also delicious, so overall it was a success. But the coffee urgently needs to be worked on here, it wasn't to my taste 🙄. But the boss is in a really good mood and I would come back for that reason alone.

Classic German brewery cuisine. The focus is on schnitzel. We had the schnitzel of the day and it was impeccable and tasted good. But the other dishes also looked delicious. The Sion Kölsch was precisely tempered and was excellent. Service staff very friendly and competent. We will be back.

2019: I've lived nearby for almost 8 years and was here for the first time today. Super nice staff. Food was great too. Drinks were brought quickly. We've never been treated so well. We'll definitely be back 😉 Keep it up. Prices are also completely ok. 2021: Always happy to go there. Waiting times are really ok. Kölsch is always perfect and I can also recommend the s.. on the beach. The food has always been perfect so far. We always enjoy coming back. Just perfect and really great for the price.

Vielleicht mit großem Abstand der beste Biergarten weit und breit. Dort fühlt man sich schnell heimisch und willkommen, guter Service und eine sehr gute Küche. Ein Preis-/ Leistungsverhältnis welches absolut fair ist.

Es sollte ein netter 60 zigster Geburtstag werden ,jedoch ließ es nur das Ambiente zu. Die junge Bedienung war nicht die Beste in der Getränkeversorgung und die Chefin oder auch einfach nur die ältere Bedienung war schnippig und unfreundlich. Essen war zum Teil fad, ausser den Burgern . Die waren sehr pappig und durchweicht. Ein richtiger Reinfall also. Nicht zu empfehlen!!!

Der Biergarten kann überdacht werden, allerdings ist es dann sehr zugig. Service könnte aufmerksamer sein, z.B mal leere Gläser abräumen. Essen war ok, vl etwas fade. Reservierung ist unbedingt erforderlich.

Das weiße Pferdchen ist seit meiner Kindheit als das populärste Lokal in meinem Stadtteil bekannt - mit gutem Grund. Hier kann man einen gemütlichen Nachmittag bzw. Abend verbringen. Sowohl für ein Feierabend-Bier als auch für´s Essen gehen super geeignet. Ich habe für mein Menü nicht mal 10,00€ bezahlt - gerade in den aktuellen Inflationszeiten sehr preiswert meiner Meinung nach. Klare Weiterempfehlung!

Im Biergarten mit Freunden getroffen. Sehr freundliche Bedienung, einwandfreier Service. Wegen der Hitze einen Salatteller ( mit Lachs und Thunfisch), sehr lecker

Update Juni 2023 Riesen Portionen, super freundlicher Service, angemesse Preise. Netter Biergarten, freundliche Bedienung, klasse Bratkartoffeln.

Wir waren gestern hier essen und das Essen war wie immer gut, bis ich auf einen spitzen Gegenstand biss. Ich zog ihn aus dem Mund, es blutete stark und sah das es ein kleiner metallartiger Stern einer Deko war. Als ich die Bedienung darauf aufmerksam machte, meinte sie, das ist nicht von uns, sowas haben wir nicht. Keine Entschuldigung, nichts, sondern mit kam es so vor, als würde man mir unterstellen, die Deko reingemacht zu haben. Als wir später zahlten, war alles komplett berechnet, nichtmal ein Getränk aufs Haus. Als ich die Bedienung daraufhin nochmals mit der Sache konfrontierte kam eine kaum hörbare Entschuldigung raus. So geht man nicht mit seinen Gästen um. Unmöglich dieses Verhalten .

Muss man hin, alle sind super freundlich, man sitzt unter Bäumen im Schatten und genießt einfach das Essen.

Bis das dass essen da war hat ewig gedauert obwohl nicht viel los war ...

Wir waren heute dort. Uns empfing ein wirklich schöner Biergarten mit Spielgeräten und Sandkasten für die Kinder. Die Bedienung war wirklich freundlich. Das Essen war auch zügig gebracht. Leider war es komplett unkreativ und fast schon langweilig. Irgendwie in den 90ern hängen geblieben. Geschmacklich auch eben wie der Preis es schon vermuten ließ einfache Küche mit einigen Convenience Produkten. Dennoch, für ein nettes Bier mit Freunden ist es ein schöner Ort.

Spitzen Ambiente mit gutem Essen. Freundliche Bedienung, die oft genug vorbei kommt, so dass keiner Angst haben muss, dass er oder sie verdursten muss.

Wir waren heute im schönen Biergarten essen und sehr zufrieden. Das Essen hat allen gut geschmeckt, die Bedienung war sehr freundlich und schnell und unserem kleinen Sohn hat der kleine Spielplatz draußen gut gefallen. Weiter so, wir kommen gerne wieder.

Verkehrsgünstig gelegen, parken Okay. Schöner schattiger Biergarten, gute Karte und faire Preise. Service gut auch wenn der Laden voll ist. Kinderfreundlich, sogar ein Spielplatz ist vorhanden. Tolle Bürger und leckere Deserts - Bier frisch und kalt was will man mehr !
