terrible service. Unfortunately, the store is not child-friendly for a simple question about a straw. The old operation was completely overwhelmed by everything. It's a shame that you can afford to be rude when the store is doing well.

Brauhaus under new management since 2022. Typical brewery feeling with a hearty menu, typical brewery dishes and Päffgen Kölsch. Very attentive and nice service. And important: every Kölsch is tapped well here, nothing with a mega head of foam. Class!

Very nice quiet relaxed location. The beer garden with the linden trees is brilliant. Food and service very good.

Since the change in ownership, the food has been a lot better. Our favorites are the pork fillet + the cordon bleu, with very good meat quality. The salad sometimes lacks enough dressing. Price/performance is absolutely ok. We cannot confirm the negative reviews regarding the service in any way. We have been there several times and have always received prompt and friendly service. The "Brauhaus service" is known to be a bit rougher in tone. We were also treated always asked if we would like another beer. We are happy to finally have a good restaurant within walking distance in Bensberg.

The ambience is great - a great restaurant with historical significance. The food is perfect brewery fare with fresh ingredients. The crowning glory is the team around Toni and Andrea, who give everything to ensure the guests have a wonderful evening! And you have to manage that in the hustle and bustle! Absolutely great! A side tip: If you want to be on the safe side, you should make a reservation at a certain time, as the Päffgen is rightly very well attended!

Dirty shop, you first have to wait half an hour for a beer and then it arrives stale and they say you shouldn't complain, so you immediately feel at home. The idiots know how to scare away paying customers

30 minutes for 2 beers and then after an eternity the waiter Toni was rude and made me cry and just gave us 2 more and had to pay for them even though we didn't want any more because it was stale and only wanted 2 instead of 4

Although it rained a bit towards the end, we had a lovely, hearty evening with delicious home-style/Kölsch dishes at fair prices and delicious Päffgen Kölsch. It was full, so we had to wait a bit.

Yesterday we had a nice little get-together with 13 people Everyone was very impressed by the good food, the nice atmosphere and the service (Toni) with his appropriate sayings that a good Köbes simply has to have Everyone really enjoyed it, so nothing stands in the way of seeing you again soon

Super nice restaurant, price performance is right

The meal was really a huge portion and tasty, just a bit dry. The service is great, the waitresses are very nice and, above all, quick. Regarding the ambience, it was ok, it was just pretty loud. Depending on the space, entertainment can be a bit difficult.

There is very good cuisine here. A great beer garden and always good conversations. The cellars are typically Kölsch. A bit harsh, but very, very sweet and in a good mood. Clear recommendation to eat here.

Extremely good cuisine at a fair price for years. Very nice service. Everything is just right here... from the crispy knuckle to steaks. from various Cologne delicacies to vegetarian and vegan dishes. Warm covered smoking areas and, depending on the season, always a spot in the sun. Keep it up!

Ein uriges Brauhaus zwischen Frankenforst und Bensberg. Leckeres Kölsch und rustikale Küche. Heute war Reibekuchentag. Ich hatte eine Portion mit Räucherlachs. Für meinen Geschmack waren die Reibekuchen eine Spur zu knusprig, aber immer noch um Klassen besser als das labbrige, fetttriefende Zeug, was man sonst oft bekommt. Der Service war freundlich und aufmerksam. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Das Essen ist Mega geil! Auf sehr hohem Niveau! Bedienungen sehr freundlich und schnell. Es gibt absolut nichts auszusetzen. 👍🏼

Alles ist super, das Essen, das Personal. Der einzige Wermutstropfen ist die Akustik. Wenn der Laden gut gefüllt, ergibt sich eine extrem hohe Grundlautstärke, bei der man sich nur schwer unterhalten kann. Schallbrechende Elemente an den Wänden und Decken müssen her. Ansonsten Daumen hoch.

Eine Kölschkneipe mit Niveau. An dem Schall könnte nachgearbeitet werden- es ist viel zu laut. Wenn es noch etwas mehr Auswahl an vegetarischen Gerichten gäbe, würde ich mich auf die Besuche im Brauhaus noch mehr freuen.

Wir haben heute sehr lecker gegessen. Die Bedienung sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Habe einen Tisch online vor Reserviert und nach kurzer Zeit direkt Bescheid bekommen. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Wert. Wir kommen auf jedenfall wieder.

Das ist ein typisches Brauhaus. Der Service war toll. Schnell und freundlich. Da gab es nix zu meckern. Das Essen war okay. Schnitzel war nicht trocken. Bratkartoffeln waren ebenfalls okay, allerdings schon ziemlich lange in der Pfanne. Das Salatdressing war Standard. Die Kugellampen im Außenbereich waren nicht einladend, da extrem verschmutzt.

Sehr gut. Bin nicht enttäuscht worden. Ein sehr schönes Ambiente, Biergarten aussen und Brauhaus innen. Service war zuvorkommend und super freundlich. Auf das Essen haben wir etwas gewartet, aber der Laden war voll und alle haben ihr bestes gegeben. Das Essen war dann aber super, sehr geschmackvoll und ausreichend. Wir sind gerne dort und werde bestimmt öfter kommen. Dankeschön 🥰

Lauschig im Bergischen versteckt, findet man dieses kleine, aber sehr schöne Brauhaus mit dem echten kölschen Päffgen-Bier. Neben dem leckeren Bier ist auch die Fachwerk-Optik und der Biergarten ein Highlight. Es scheint im Biergarten immer sehr voll zu sein, ggf. hat man ohne Reservierung Schwierigkeiten einen Sitzplatz zu ergattern.

Wir hatten für 12 Personen für einen Geburtstag reserviert und haben nur einen Tisch für 8 bekommen, weil eine andere Gruppe plötzlich größer geworden ist. Dann wurden wir unverschämt angemacht nachdem wir uns selber Stühle genommen haben. Ich hatte Bratkartoffeln mit Spiegelei bestellt und extra gefragt, ob es vegetarisch ist und dann war doch Speck dabei. Unsere Kellnerin war wirklich nett und aufmerksam aber das andere Personal leider unfreundlich. Dass mal etwas in der Organisation schief läuft kann passieren, aber dann sollte man sich dafür entschuldigen und eine Lösung suchen anstatt den Gast doof dastehen zu lassen.
