We accidentally found this little restaurant. She was very nice on the phone. We arrived a little late, but they were still very nice. We got plenty of and very good, delicious food. What peculiarity of Greek cuisine. The owners are very hospitable. We were really happy to have found such a gem in the Black Forest. Highly recommended!

There was a very unpleasant incident with a waitress walking past. at the restaurant on a Sunday afternoon. After my little son (4 years old) went to the refrigerator in the entrance area to look at the drinks, the waitress wasn't really paying attention and portrayed our son as a thief. There was a very loud discussion outside the bar, very unpleasant. People shouted after us. We knew. First we didn't know what was going on and then we went back. The deputy operator was there and tried to calm the woman down. After I grounded the operator, she realized that she had reacted incorrectly. Totally unnecessary and unpleasant. So I can't rate the ambience or food.

I can only judge the Greek food that we ate or only tried there. We had gyros, gyros in Metaxa sauce and bifteki. Unfortunately, all of the dishes were very poor in execution and quality. For the main courses there was a small salad as a starter (I didn't try it, so I can't say anything about the taste, but it looked very boring). Then the main courses came and the disappointment was huge. My biftiki came with fries, tzatziki and broccoli. I won't say anything about the fries, they're fries. Tzaziki boring (probably from the package). Didn't try broccoli (it just looked terrible and most likely from frozen). The biftiki was a tasteless pile of minced meat with a rancid cheese sauce in the middle. The accompanying gyros weren't much better, dry, tasteless and boring. But the croquettes were the biggest mystery for me, how could you prepare them so that they were dark brown and full of fat. I want to make something clear right away: the food has to match the prices. If you offer food that is not fresh or not homemade. You just can't charge €21.50 for a Bifteki. For the gyro €16.50. That just doesn't add up. If you want to be a snack bar you have to have prices like that and not charge prices that don't correspond to the cuisine. It really had nothing to do with fine Greek cuisine. We also didn't want to pay for the food because that was just a disgrace. (The food was 99% untouched) After a short back and forth and a call to the police from the landlady, we agreed to a 25% discount, pay for food and leave. I really advise everyone not to try Greek food, it's really not worth it. Every visit to Burger King or McDonald’s would be a culinary experience. The service was friendly and the atmosphere was really nice. Can't say anything against it. But please rethink your concept. What do you want, a café and snack bar or a restaurant? We had the feeling that the waitress and the chef didn't know either.

I had the pleasure of eating here with my parents and in-laws. The food was very good, but what was even better were the staff. I have rarely been welcomed and served so warmly and joyfully. I still smile now, two weeks later, just thinking about it. Extremely friendly, thank you very much.

We sat outside on a super cozy terrace, we ordered two starters that were super tasty and they served them quickly, later the main course came and it was also very tasty. We were helped very kindly, but the wasps were a bit less, but that was the only downside.

Delicious food on the terrace with a view of the beautiful cathedral. Very friendly staff who were flexible with the wishes of our kids. Enjoyed delicious Greek dishes. Drank a bottle of good Greek wine... There were a lot of wasps, that was the only annoying thing about the nice evening.

The small, owner-run restaurant impresses with its fantastically friendly service and a clear menu with delicious, imaginative Greek dishes. Reservations are recommended during peak times.

It says outside that the kitchen will be open for another 45 minutes. Inside we are asked to come back in 20 minutes as there is nothing to eat at the moment Question to the owner: Why else would we have come back in 20 minutes? Where should the break in meaning be?

The food tasted so delicious that I went there a second time within a week. Both the starters and the main courses were very tasty. For me, large portions and price/performance absolutely fantastic! Friendly service and good food, that's how it should be!

For the French: very pleasant town with the dome to visit. Right opposite this great Greek restaurant which is royal. Eggplant pita fresh and succulent like the dishes. A salad is also offered before the dish. To change German dishes during your trip. Perfect, very good address and pleasant bosses👍

Cocktail great, starter great, but flatbread should be crispier, salad without cheese would be great, main course gyros good, only the potatoes weren't my thing... otherwise I thought it was good. Paying with eC card: Please reprogram the cash register with “tip”... We’ll be back ;-)

Nice little restaurant, great location on Dom Platz. Friendly hosts. Not a typical Greek (a la grilled meat and fries) but a small menu with dishes that will definitely be served at home (and the cook may have learned from mom/grandma 😁). We almost ate our fill of the starter plate...fresh pita bread with various dips, simply delicious. So we'll definitely be back!!

Super beautifully designed restaurant in a top location near the cathedral. The owners are super nice, on the ball and there is very, very tasty Greek food! The dessert was also delicious. A collection of games is available to pass the time. The walk to the toilets is also lovingly designed. When we are back in the corner, we would love to come back! Absolute recommendation.

We were just there for dinner and can't complain or criticize anything. The shop is furnished and designed with attention to detail... without ending up in the usual "kitsch" like almost all Greek restaurants. The menu offers something for everyone without being too overwhelming. The gyros with Metaxa sauce is super tasty and very powerful 👍😅 Would eat it like this again 👍

First of all: Didn't eat there. There still seem to be colleagues who don't need it. Spontaneously asked for a table for 2 people. Were looked up and down, probably the boss. Said to the employee: Tell them everything is reserved. Some tables had no reservation signs.

Since our hotel in Bernau is unfortunately closed today, we took the bus to St. Blasien and by chance ended up in the restaurant "Zum Vasi" (we only knew the restaurant as a café a few years ago)... - great decor , super nice owners and very tasty food. When we are back in the Black Forest, we will definitely see each other again 💋🙋‍♀️🙋‍♂️💋

The best Greek restaurant in the entire county. If you want to eat typical Greek food, this is the place for you. Tastes like a dream and prepared with love. Great and super friendly hosts. Looking forward to the next time.

After visiting the St. Blasien church, we went to the Vasi restaurant with our nice and old friend. The waitress/cook and the waiter/cook (husband and wife!) are very nice and took our order very nicely. The food was ready in about 15 to 20 minutes and already served. The salad was very tasty and really very fresh. The portion of chicken gyros was also very tasty and fresh but a little smaller than what we expected. But it was served with a baila salad, which made the amount of the entire meal completely sufficient for one person! The atmosphere is nice in this restaurant and very pleasant. The hallway that leads to the toilets is really well decorated. The couple are getting married in the summer and we wish them all the best, a nice celebration and continued success with the host cities! 😊

The two of us were here for dinner and had booked our table in advance using the reservation option offered on the homepage, which was absolutely uncomplicated. When we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by the boss and were allowed to sit at a table with a great view of the open kitchen, where the boss himself cooks. After the very tasty starter platter “Pikilia”, the other starters were the “Koto soup” and the “Spanakotyropita”. Both also tasted wonderful. For the main course we had the "Chicken gyros with Metaxa sauce, flambéed at the table, with rice" - FABULOUSLY DELICIOUS!!! We enjoyed an excellent, dry Greek white wine to go with it. The service was excellent and we felt absolutely comfortable in the pleasant ambience of the vaulted cellar. “Zum Vasi” is highly recommended and we will definitely come here again.

Great Greek that is completely different than your regular Greek around the corner. Here you will look in vain in a positive sense for the 25 Athens, Mykonos, Plaka and Syrtaki meat plates. There are great dishes on offer that could be on the menu in any other good restaurant, but of course also Greek dishes, which are all a little more refined and different than at the “home Greek”. The chicken from the oven in olives and lemon as well as the homemade mousaka tasted extremely good. The salad served with it was fine and had a great homemade dressing. The selection of starters is exceptionally different and diverse. Portions to fill you up and prices absolutely reasonable, not expensive. Service is extremely friendly and typically Greek, the atmosphere is more modern and appealing than most "standard Greeks". THE election in St. Blasien. Absolute recommendation.

I can highly recommend this restaurant. I was here for lunch and am absolutely thrilled by the hospitality, the great service, such as: every guest gets a free carafe of water on the table. There is a free drink with lunch... I had a cappuccino... They asked if it had cinnamon or chocolate... Great service. The food was fantastically tasty and freshly prepared. I would love to come back. Thank you very much.

We spontaneously went there with children and were extremely enthusiastic. Individual requests were very warmly addressed. My wife can't tolerate garlic and, to our surprise, this also went hand in hand with Greek cuisine. The children were even served spaetzle, even though it wasn't on the menu. Everything was extremely tasty and to the point. The service was attentive and the atmosphere was very inviting. A clear recommendation.

A very cozy restaurant, especially in the back vaulted cellar, with very courteous and attentive staff. The food is Greek and is prepared openly in the back. There is free water and an ouzo at the end. We enjoyed it.

Einfach gut. Ich habe eine typisch griechisches Gericht bestellt das Moussaka heißt. Wirklich hausgemacht und es schmeckt auch super gut. Das Lokal Schön gemacht, freundliches Personal. Ich kann es wirklich empfehlen. Und ich werde auch wiederkommen.

Wir waren gestern zum ersten Mal beim Vasi. Vom Ambiente, über den Service und bis zum fantastischen Essen war alles auf absolut höchstem Niveau, von dem sich die alten Restaurants in der Umgebung ein Beispiel nehmen sollten. Den sehr guten Bewertungen möchte ich mich hier gerne anschließen, denn es ist zweifelsfrei die beste Adresse in St. Blasien und Umgebung!

An sich nicht schlecht der Laden aber absolut unangenehmes Ambiente und katastrophaler Service.

Sehr schönes Restaurant. Das Essen war sehr gut und die Bedienung freundlich und kompetent. Was mich störte waren einige unverschämte Leute welche meinten dies wäre eine kostenlose Toilette nur für sie. Dabei sind die öffentlichen deutlich am Domplatz ausgeschildert. Das Personal hatte es aber sehr gut im Griff.

Die selbstgemachten Torten sind wirklich mega lecker. Und weil es uns zum Kaffee gefallen hat sind wir zum Abendessen auch eingekehrt. Das Essen war sehr sehr lecker. Preis Leistung stimmt zu 100 %. Wir kommen wieder. 👍

Wunderbar, freundliche Bedienung, lecker abgestimmtes Dressing zum Salat, ehrliches Essen, gute Portion, und - last but not least - zum Nachtisch beste hausgemachte Schwarzwälder-Kirsch-Torte in tollem Ambiente direkt am Fluss vor dem gewaltigen Dom zu St. Blasius!!

Sehr nettes Lokal mit freundlicher Bedienung. Das Essen wird frisch und schnell zubereitet. Es gab einige vegetarische Optionen, leider keine veganen Gerichte.
