Köstliches Essen und ein wunderbares, freundliches Team im Zum Vasi. Man fühlt sich wie bei Freunden zu Hause und möchte gar nicht mehr weg. Authentische Küche in Hülle und Fülle. Die besten Torten, die wir im Schwarzwald gegessen haben. Bei unserer nächsten Reise kommen wir ganz sicher wieder.

Wir waren Top zufrieden. Man schmeckt und sieht das Herzblut was in die Gerichte gesteckt wird. Ganz besonders hervorzuheben ist der sehr schnelle und sehr freundliche Service. Vielen Dank!

Wirklich gut, wirklich freundlich! Unser Gastgeber ist ganz fantastisch auf unsere Gruppe (inkl. Veganer und Vegetarier) eingegangen und wirklich jeder hat ein tolles Gericht bekommen. Atmosphere toll, Nachtisch toll - wir würden uns wieder für "zum Vasi" entscheiden!

Sehr schönes kleines Lokal das man aber leicht übersehen kann. Wir haben es dank Schlemmerblock gefunden und waren absolut begeistert. Super freundlicher und schneller Service, schönes Ambiente, erstklassiges Essen, außerdem hundefreundlich. Wir werden sicher wieder kommen!

Hier stimmt einfach alles. Ambiente (war wohl früher mal ein Weinkeller) Personal (sehr freundlich und aufmerksam) Essen (mit das Beste griechische Essen das ich bisher hatte, das zweitbeste, das ich kenne, ist ein Grieche in Maastricht) DANKE, und wir kommen wieder :-)

Absolut begeistert! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Das Gyros war mit Abstand eines der besten, das ich je gegessen habe – super würzig, perfekt gebraten und einfach richtig authentisch. Dazu die Chips: knusprig, goldbraun und mega lecker. Die Kellnerin war unglaublich freundlich und aufmerksam, man fühlt sich sofort willkommen. Und ein großes Kompliment an den Koch – man merkt, dass hier mit Leidenschaft gekocht wird. Rundum ein top Erlebnis – ich komme definitiv wieder!

Unser Mittagessen war lecker bis auf den Vorspeisen Salat. Der war garantiert aus der Tüte und mit Fertigsoße angemacht. Das geht definitiv besser. Das Gyros war überschaulich aber sehr sehr lecker. Preis-Leistung ist in Ordnung. Leider gab es immer mal wieder leichten Durchzug was auf Dauer etwas unangenehm war bei der Kälte die von draußen reinkam. Wahrscheinlich durch die ständig offene Eingangstür verursacht. Das Ambiente ist im Gewölbekeller Look grundsätzlich sehr schön und der Service war freundlich und zügig unterwegs. Wir kommen bestimmt wieder.

This was my first time eating Greek food at this restaurant, so comparisons are somewhat limited. The prices for a meal are quite high, but it was delicious. The service was extremely busy that day, yet the food arrived surprisingly quickly despite the restaurant being full. I'd gladly eat Greek food again, perhaps at Vasi's.

Four of us visited the Gaststätte zum Vasi restaurant – discovered through our Schlemmerblock (snack table). What a stroke of luck! Without the Schlemmerblock, we might never have ended up here, and that would have been a real shame, because we were absolutely thrilled. As soon as you enter, you notice: It's quiet and cozy. The ambiance is pleasantly relaxed, and you immediately feel welcome. It wasn't too busy that evening, which further emphasized the calm, almost family-like atmosphere – ideal for ending the day in a relaxed atmosphere. The meal was a real highlight. You can tell the cooking here is done with skill and love. We were particularly impressed by how beautifully the dishes were presented and served – with great care and a touch of show cooking. Our dish was even flambéed, which created a real wow moment: the table briefly ablaze with bright flames, and the whole experience had something special that you won't soon forget. The service was also excellent – ​​attentive, friendly, and warm. You had the feeling that the team enjoyed their work, and this was passed on to the guests

The ambiance is very nice. The vaulted ceiling is fantastic. The food is so-so. The menu said 1 liter of water. It was served in a carafe, but it was only 700 ml. I asked the staff about it. They said they just rounded it up. So they were already aware of the problem. No apologies. It's just the way it is 😡. No sign of a guilty conscience. This should be changed urgently. Otherwise, you feel ripped off.

This was our third time eating at Vasi because the ambiance and food are always excellent. The waiters are extremely friendly and make you feel very comfortable. The price/performance ratio is more than reasonable, and the beetroot carpaccio is delicious. We always enjoy going there.

We stopped to eat our first black forest cake, a delight, light and divine...then 1 hour later we let ourselves be tempted by a pork gyros and chicken gyros, succulent, small salad and fries, very warm and smiling welcome, it was perfect, a thousand thanks

Great food—a lot of it, but really delicious. The atmosphere is fantastic; it's not too loud and relatively quiet. We received quick and friendly service, and everything was pointed out.

We had nice service. It's just a shame they brought the wrong food. You can hear the microwave bing bing from the kitchen. I've never eaten so badly!!! The gyro was frozen and heated in the microwave, and the fries were over-fried. The Coke was good 👍 Super expensive for that crap.

I had a flambéed dish, but so much alcohol was used that the flavor was extremely overpowering—the alcohol wasn't "cooked off" by the flambéing at all. It seemed more like a whole glass had been poured over it. The flavor was barely palatable as a result. I ate it anyway because, for the price, I felt it was too good to leave it alone. When I told the server this, the reaction was very unprofessional—no understanding, no apology, no solution offered. A real shame, especially considering the prices. Overall, the taste and service were disappointing. I won't be coming back. Added: It's funny how unacceptable people can be. Instead of focusing on the quality of the service, they'd rather be so clever and react to it publicly like that. 🤣 But you're right, I should have eaten at McDonald's instead, because I would have received competent service there.

We were in St. Blasien with our motorhome and ended up here while looking for a place for dinner. We were not disappointed. The atmosphere, like that of an old cellar vault, is very cozy. But the food was even better. It was plentiful and delicious. We'll definitely be back when we're in the area.

A Greek restaurant right in front of the cathedral in St. Blasien, a very inviting wine cellar with a stunning terracotta structure. The food is fantastic; we had gyros topped with flambéed mexaca. The salad had a pomegranate seed dressing, which added a very special touch. Very friendly staff. We'll be back.

We had a great lunch at this Greek restaurant! The atmosphere is cozy and inviting, the owner is extremely nice. The food was delicious - we had gyros and the starter mix plate - just fantastic. The child-friendliness is particularly positive: there are baby seats and toys, which made our visit very pleasant. Absolutely recommended for the whole family!

We were in this Greek restaurant and completely satisfied. The start was a success: we had a very tasty drink that immediately put us in a good mood. We are an Egyptian family of 2 adults and 2 children. We were in a hike in St. Blasien and we found this authentic beautiful Greek place. We stopped for lunch and we were amazed by the food quality and hospitality of the Mr. Vasilis. He is very friendly and pleasant. The atmosphere was very nice. We enjoyed the Greek recipes for Mousaka and the Fried Calamari along with the Greek Salad. We will definitely come back during our next visit to St.Blasien.

We recently went there for the second time. The first time in autumn 2024. We were amazed at the prices have increased significantly since then - hardly a dish is under 20€! I ate bifteki with rice and was disappointed. Carelessly put together plate, taste of the meat rolls absolutely bland. My wife ate moussaka and was also disappointed with the quality. The side salad, on the other hand, was good and sufficient. Very friendly service. Conclusion: A cozy and friendly Greek restaurant with good service. The kitchen needs to work on quality.

Today we were in this wonderful restaurant for the first time and would like to tell you about our wonderful experiences. We were greeted at the entrance by a very nice young man and a very friendly young lady. It later turned out that it was the owner of the house and his wife. The food was fresh, tasty and overall excellent, and the service was outstanding. The drinks were refreshing and the ambience was very well decorated. Although it was our first visit, we were looked after like long-time friends and looked after like a family. All in all, the first and certainly not the last visit to Vasi was a special experience for us.

There was a very unpleasant incident with a waitress walking past. at the restaurant on a Sunday afternoon. After my little son (4 years old) went to the refrigerator in the entrance area to look at the drinks, the waitress wasn't really paying attention and portrayed our son as a thief. There was a very loud discussion outside the bar, very unpleasant. People shouted after us. We knew. First we didn't know what was going on and then we went back. The deputy operator was there and tried to calm the woman down. After I grounded the operator, she realized that she had reacted incorrectly. Totally unnecessary and unpleasant. So I can't rate the ambience or food.

I can only judge the Greek food that we ate or only tried there. We had gyros, gyros in Metaxa sauce and bifteki. Unfortunately, all of the dishes were very poor in execution and quality. For the main courses there was a small salad as a starter (I didn't try it, so I can't say anything about the taste, but it looked very boring). Then the main courses came and the disappointment was huge. My biftiki came with fries, tzatziki and broccoli. I won't say anything about the fries, they're fries. Tzaziki boring (probably from the package). Didn't try broccoli (it just looked terrible and most likely from frozen). The biftiki was a tasteless pile of minced meat with a rancid cheese sauce in the middle. The accompanying gyros weren't much better, dry, tasteless and boring. But the croquettes were the biggest mystery for me, how could you prepare them so that they were dark brown and full of fat. I want to make something clear right away: the food has to match the prices. If you offer food that is not fresh or not homemade. You just can't charge €21.50 for a Bifteki. For the gyro €16.50. That just doesn't add up. If you want to be a snack bar you have to have prices like that and not charge prices that don't correspond to the cuisine. It really had nothing to do with fine Greek cuisine. We also didn't want to pay for the food because that was just a disgrace. (The food was 99% untouched) After a short back and forth and a call to the police from the landlady, we agreed to a 25% discount, pay for food and leave. I really advise everyone not to try Greek food, it's really not worth it. Every visit to Burger King or McDonald’s would be a culinary experience. The service was friendly and the atmosphere was really nice. Can't say anything against it. But please rethink your concept. What do you want, a café and snack bar or a restaurant? We had the feeling that the waitress and the chef didn't know either.
