Visited this for the first time today. Super great and tasty food, from the starter to the affogato, simply delicious. Served very quickly, great and entertaining service. The best: Prices like 4 years ago Only recommended! It's best to reserve in advance

Since the new tenants came on board, eating here has become fun again. Good middle-class to Mediterranean. The Cevapcici are great and the wine prices are pleasant Rosé 0.25 l for 5,-. Thumbs up! For dessert there was vanilla ice cream with hot raspberries (4.90). The service is top and the Slivovitz tastes great...

Rustic atmosphere, starter and salad were good. Unfortunately, the schnitzel seemed to come directly from Aldi including Knorr sauce and ready-made spaetzle - not recommended - a shame. We were misled by the reviews

As the name might suggest: this is about effectiveness. Even very hungry gardeners can get their fill here at reasonable prices. The service is friendly and unfussy. The furnishings and the salad dressings could perhaps still have a touch of room for improvement. I've been here several times and it's been fine every time.

Nice garden restaurant, the owners really put a lot of effort into it. The food is delicious at a great price. Small disadvantage, you can't pay by card.

Today we were there for the first time with the family. The food is very tasty and the portions are decent and cheap. The staff is very friendly and attentive. Our Baloo was warmly welcomed and immediately given a bowl of water. The beer garden is so beautiful and cozy. We had a really nice Sunday with the family today. We were definitely not there for the last time. We are already looking forward to the next visit!

Super delicious food! We had the family and Balkan platter, everything was freshly prepared, homemade and simply delicious! The plates were served with heat holders and everything was still nice and warm after a while. Fries and rice very tasty! Outdoor area has nice grass area for kids to play :) Be sure to try it out - you won't regret it!

Since the change of operator - this year, 2024, we have discovered the restaurant again. Just like that, after a long bike ride, a walk, or just to stop by for dinner. We always preferred anything that said “Balkan” at the front: well seasoned, very delicately prepared, with a WOW afterwards. The portions were more than sufficient. Yes, yesterday, on Thursday July 18th, 2024, we experienced what “usually everyone has”, listlessly prepared, like huge meat sweets with the corresponding extension. Yes, our kitchen outside, which is still affordable, has unfortunately become listless. With a tendency towards "un-" cuisine of the unparalleled Hardwald club restaurant, where you wouldn't be able to enjoy ("un") even if you were extremely hungry, which is what normal athletes feel after training. Do we have vacation time, is the beloved kitchen creator on vacation, or is he simply no longer there? It's a shame...We'll be back, let's see.

Insider tip in Karlsruhe's Oststadt, hidden in the allotment gardens. The menu focuses on Balkan and German dishes, but there are also vegetarian and even a rotating vegan option. Very affordable prices. Only the furnishings are still a bit sparse after the reopening. You can sit outside instead. We'd love to come back.

Very tasty meals and salads at fair prices. Here the boss still cooks himself. The service is very friendly, courteous and fond of children. The restaurant is clean and tidy. We have been here several times, have never been disappointed and can only warmly recommend it.

We have been to the groundbreaking ceremony in Essen several times. The new innkeepers offer very good food and great service. We would be happy to come back

Went on a little family trip to the groundbreaking ceremony yesterday. Basically we really liked it, my starter “fire plate” was really fantastic. With my steak plate I had 1 completely cooked and dry rump steak as well as a pork salmon, the minced steak was very good. My parents were happy with their grill plate, very good lamb chops, delicious cevapcici and bifteki. However, very dry and tough steaks here too. As I was clearing away I kindly gave my feedback that the steaks were unfortunately inedible, but the rest were delicious. However, I was so dissatisfied with the reaction that I really don't know if I will enter this store a second time! Took the plate without comment, no sorry, no thanks for the feedback, absolutely GARNIX! When I then ordered the invoice and wanted a receipt with it, the annoyed look was legible. Then he came out, put the bill on the table, ran away and let his colleague collect the money. Absolutely no trace of reaction to my statement. Unfortunately that was very weak!

Tasty, good value for money, good service, child-friendly and no problem with a seat on Sundays. We'll be back :)

Newly opened Croatian restaurant in an allotment garden. Insider tip! Also inexpensive lunch menu.

The garden restaurant has had 24 new - very friendly - owners since the beginning of March. The boss cooks himself and the female boss works in service. Starters, main courses as well as various salads and desserts are very tasty. Lunch is offered from Monday to Friday including soup and salad. The price/performance ratio is consistent. Keep it up!!

Cozy little restaurant in an allotment garden area. It is a family business. Reservation makes sense. The service is friendly, the food came quickly and was very good. There are Balkan specialties. Repeat factor 100%. Relatively inexpensive since it was newly opened.

We were here yesterday for the first time since the reopening and were totally pleasantly surprised. Service was super nice, the portions were large and very tasty! To our surprise, we got an extra soup in addition to the side salad and the main course. The price is unbeatable! We will be back!

Yea, quite ok for a garden arbor, Getting the wrong food, well, it can happen sometimes. I didn't want to cause any further trouble, so I didn't complain about it. But what I have never experienced is that when you pay you have to calculate the change yourself or you are asked whether it is correct (i.e. ask for a tip straight away) or whether you want change. Karaoke evening was great, good atmosphere, good music, big compliments to the DJ, it was really fun!!!

Very cozy, nice service and the food is delicious too!!! The children have space to play and the dog is happy too. We'll be back!

Üppige Portionen, gute Auswahl, war sehr lecker und man wurde gut satt. Einer der wenigen Restaurants, die Leber anbieten.

Mega leckere Schnitzel aus der Pfanne... schmeckt wie bei Oma :) Auch die Bratkartoffeln sind etwas ganz besonderes. Das Ambiente ist schön ruhig in einem Kleingartenverein gelegen. Für Autos gibt es Parkmöglichkeiten unmittelbar vor der Gaststätte. Wir fahren da aber (für Karlsruhe selbstverständlich) immer mit dem Fahrrad hin ;)

Wir kommen gerne wieder. Schnitzel einwandfrei. Fast zu viel vom Fleisch. Wärs Bio gäbs volle 5 Sterne. Aber auch so war das Fleisch immerhin gut zart. Die Bratensauce war excellent, die Pommes erwartungsgemäß gut. Nette schnelle Bedienung.

Super Essen Liebevolle Atmosphäre Bombenservice Daumen hoch

Durch Zufall hier gelandet als wir nach Besuch der Großherzoglichen Grabkapelle nach Mittagessen in der Nähe gesucht haben. Hat sehr gut geschmeckt. Portionsgröße fast ein wenig zu groß.

Wir hatten eine sehr schöne Hochzeitsfeier dort. Von der Organisation im Vorfeld bis zum Abschluss des Events alles top! Sowohl wir als auch die Gäste fanden den Service und das Essen super! Voller Erfolg und absolute Empfehlung unsererseits! Vielen Dank an Frau Safapour und ihr Team!

Heut waren wir im Spatenstich. Es hat uns auf Anhieb sehr gefallen. Gemütlich, freundlich, angenehm. Zum essen waren wir sehr angenehm überrascht. Der Salat mit Putensteack waren frisch, saftig und toll angemacht. Das Rumpsteak zart, einfach klasse. Das muss man können und so war es. Da kommen wir gern wieder. Eine Empfehlung habe ich das die Abluft in der Küche so eingestellt werden kann das der Geruch nicht in die Gaststätte und an unsere Kleidung hängen bleibt. Habe ich aber ignoriert nur es macht viel aus. Die Gäste ziehen doch gern gute Sachen an...... bis bald
