Kind of the typical old pub with a restaurant. Appropriate equipment with heavy wooden furniture, lots of dark wood on the walls and ceiling. But it has a nice, rustic charm there. And the food was really good. I had the Pustaschnitzel, formerly gypsy schnitzel. It was marked as spicy on the menu and had a pleasant, slightly spiciness that you would never get otherwise. I will definitely eat there more often.

Today, on May 7th, 2024, as secretary of our local social association, I had to find out that the "scharpe Eck" was affected by an unreliable "member" at our 2024 annual general meeting. There is no excuse for this behavior and it is handled internally We apologize and can never rule out the possibility that there are always members who only appear once a year to eat at the association's expense and just complain. As part of a celebration today we enjoyed a varied hot and cold buffet, super tender pieces of meat in a delicious mushroom sauce, crunchy vegetables, somewhat atypical tomato mozzarella, red cabbage and sauerbraten but really tasty herb butter, various types of bread, a great cheese platter. Except for the mineral water, the waiter had the wishes of 22 people well under control, was nice and funny and quick. Unfortunately there were no table decorations, otherwise the evening aroused interest in trying a'la carte again. The small washrooms also made a very neat impression, thank you! We are looking forward to the next time.

Since my last trip to Buenos Aires, just today I had a truly FIRST-CLASS Argentinian rump steak, carefully and tastefully prepared, with exquisite side dishes, homemade sour cream (a poem) baked potatoes and a healthy crisp salad. Since it is a family business, the atmosphere is cultivated but cozy at the same time. The service was very friendly, quick and competent. I will definitely invite my discerning friends to the Restaurant Zum Scharpen Eck, a top address in every respect.

Great store, we come here often with friends. Delicious food and very nice service.

There was a rough tone in the service (of 3 waiters, only one who didn't know how to deal with guests), you had to react immediately when bringing the food. If you didn't react immediately, you would be hit on by young brats (to put it correctly, there were 3 waiters and the other two knew how to deal with guests, only one of them was totally crazy about it). By the way, it was a VDK meeting and a lot of things weren't okay, but that doesn't belong here.

Gastronomie so wie man es sich wünscht

Wir haben dort sehr gut gegessen. Personal ist freundlich. Preisleistungsverhältnis passt. Parken ist teilweise schwierig aufgrund der Nähe des Fußballplatzes. Due Inneneinrichtung ist noch typisch deutsche, alte Kneipe. Hat seinen Flair. Sauberkeit ist in Ordnung.

Ein absolut gutes Restaurant. Speisen, Ambiente und Service sehr gut. Würde mich freuen wenn wieder 0,2 L Pilzgläser eingeführt werden. Lieber ein Bierchen mehr trinken.

Speisen preiswert und wirklich okay. Lachs, Cordon Bleu und Schweinefilet kann man wirklich empfehlen. Service freundlich, Innenausstattung und Ambiente in die Jahre gekommen und mit Luft nach oben. Viel Erfolg weiterhin...😉

Oh, Glück Auf! Kneipenfeeling par excellence. Ein tolles Restaurant mit Ruhrgebietscharme. Das Essen (in Essen - Wortwitz) ist klasse, die Personal sehr höflich und zuvorkommend.

I was in the near. So i tried this restaurante. Ita very good. The location is very beautyful and the workers are friendly.

Mir hat es nicht so gefallen. Für sechs Personen, die alle gegessen haben, wurde ein ziemlich kleiner Tisch zugewiesen. Das bestellte Cordon Bleu kam aus der Friteuse.

Gute bürgerliche Küche,gute Preise und gute Bedienung. Kann man nur empfehlen.

Freundliche Bedienung, sehr gutes Essen, Preis-Leistung stimmt, wir kommen gerne wieder.

Seit vielen Jahren sind wir Gäste und nun ist es endlich mal an der Zeit, es entsprechend zu würdigen. Das Essen ist jedes mal erstklassig. Die Steaks auf den Punkt gebraten. Alles wohlschmeckend. Kriege schon Hunger beim Schreiben.....;-) Chef und Personal sind freundlich und zuvorkommend. Beim Ambiente fühlt man sich so ein bisschen in die 70'er Jahre zurückversetzt und wenn man dann eines Tages auch mit Karte zahlen kann, sind wir in der Gegenwart angekommen :-)

Das Essen ist reichhaltig und sehr lecker. Preise Leistung stimmt hier.

Sehr leckeres Essen immer wieder gern . Und da mein Freund nicht gern Salat ist ,hat er den Vorschlag bekommen er könnte auch Gemüse bekommen. Das fand ich richtig gut super klasse.

Etwas in die Jahre gekommene Gaststätte mit Thekenbetrieb, der einem Essen in netter Atmosphäre aber keinen Abbruch tut. Das Essen ist gut und die Preise fair. Die Karte bietet eine gute Auswahl für jeden Geschmack. Sehr nette, aufmerksame Bedienung, guter Service.

Sehr angenehme Atmosphäre trotz 80ger Jahre Einrichtung. Gemütlich, mit Kerzen, feiner Tischdecke, Blumen. Ein sehr aufmerksamer Service. Guter Wein, blitzblanke Gläser. Eine normale Karte für ein Balkan Restaurant. Jedoch eine sehr gute Fleisch Qualität, eine gute Sauce, Fein Schnitt Pommes. Der Salat frisch und selbst geschnitten. Tiptop nichts zu meckern. Sehr zu empfehlen. Wir kommen wieder. Endlich wieder ein gutes Restaurant was sein Handwerk versteht.
