This is the best place for haxen near Frankfurt. ApfelWein is good and the beer is good too. I recommend it.

Hessian specialties are traditional but also newly interpreted in delicious variations. Enjoy in a large yard under a chestnut tree. Or in winter in a rustic restaurant.

We were here with a larger group. Even though the restaurant was full, we were served very well and quickly. The food was very tasty. In summer you can also sit in the garden. Accessibility by public transport is given. It's only a 10-minute walk to Lohrberg.

Here you can find the best Äppler in all of Frankfurt. Nice staff, you feel really comfortable here as a Frankfurter. There are now finally vegan schnitzels with green sauce.

We have enjoyed coming here for many years. Sometimes after a bike ride, sometimes as a nice family event. We love this incomparable charm, the friendly and really fast staff and of course the really good food. Today we had Frankfurter Schnitzel with fried potatoes and green sauce and Frankfurter tapas. And for dessert, fresh waffles with mascarpone and raspberry sorbet. Everything is great!

We've eaten in the bike for the second time now. The staff is very nice and the atmosphere in the courtyard is also very cozy. Finding a parking space is challenging but doable. So, now to the food... We were quite disappointed last time. Our son wasn't full at all and ordered something extra to eat. 2nd chance... unfortunately the same. The summer salad was decent for €16.50 + €6.50 chicken, unfortunately only greens and a few tomatoes and cucumbers, hardly any seasoning - completely wrong in price. The schnitzels weren't that great either, the ribs were pretty dry. The “chocolate pudding according to Grandma's recipe” had a strange, solid consistency, and there was a cookie on top of the pudding that was not mentioned anywhere on the menu. Go for a drink and maybe a snack, yes! Unfortunately no to go out for a real meal.

We still know the bike from the times when we were at bookseller school. That was about 45 years ago. Of course everything has become much bigger, and there are no parking spaces at all. But: the Äppelwoi is awesome and so is the green sauce, whether with Frankfurter schnitzel or beef. So, let's go.

Very good food. Decent Hessian cuisine. Even if you're very hungry, you can get a very good portion here at a fair price. There is also something for the little ones. Service is always very attentive and not intrusive. We were well looked after and felt comfortable.

Yesterday we spontaneously had the idea to go cycling. Went there without a reservation, but were warmly welcomed. The garden was completely full, so our meal took a little longer, but we bridged the waiting time with a delicious starter (matching my name :)). The staff were always very friendly and always had a funny saying. Always happy again. Keep it up!

Unfortunately we had to wait another two hours for our food. When we asked several questions, we were always put off briefly. Our neighbors also waited forever but ended up getting their food earlier even though they came later. Unfortunately very incorporated.

We had dinner there yesterday. Due to the weather, a lot of guests were brought in and it was very crowded. We then sat at a table with strangers (not to everyone's taste). But in the end it wasn't so bad. The waiter was super nice, had a lot of tables to serve, took special requests into account and still came relatively quickly for the many tables. The Rad is one of Frankfurt's institutions. A cider pub with a large garden - but it still makes sense to make a reservation! The service is confident and friendly, but sometimes it is so busy that it can take a while. The food is good, but not the best of Frankfurt's apple wine bars. People come here because it's a nice place to sit and drink a good cider - in early summer there's also strawberry punch!

Reservation didn't work out. There are no binding reservations! Good to know :,( Staff very friendly but absolutely overwhelmed and not enough people. Greed of the management staff. The food, I had an onion schnitzel, extra salad, some of the fried potatoes were not cooked properly and the taste was also mass-produced. Onions cooked not fried had no taste. Meat partly with knobs. I expected more. Possibly hire more staff and also prepare the food with a little more dedication. A pity!

Over an hour for food. The order processing also had a strange order. The food for 3 people came 5 minutes apart.

Very nice beer garden and good food

A rustic Frankfurt cider pub with a great summer garden. The food is of good quality and comes relatively quickly. We had the Frankfurter Schnitzel and were very satisfied. The menu is varied, so everyone should find what they are looking for here. The service staff was really very accommodating and we had a lovely evening.

Good home cooking with a slightly modern touch. Nice, large courtyard. A Frankfurt instance. The knuckles at the next table looked delicious. The schnitzel was a bit bland. Service could be a bit warmer.

Unfortunately I have to take back my review with 5 ☆. The quality is no longer what it used to be. Sorry but the food tastes bland. No love and nothing. The service staff are great!

It's always very nice here, the food is good - it can always be better. In my opinion it's a bit loud when there are several people inside, so sound insulation panels would be installed on the ceiling - but that's just my opinion. Otherwise everything was great.

So far I have never eaten better schnitzel and mashed potatoes anywhere else in Frankfurt.

One of the oldest Äbbelwoi restaurants in Germany and by no means ancient or hackneyed. The food is fantastic and the ambience is a mix of old farm and new twist. Romantic, and somehow cool - just like Frankfurt am Main!

Es hat einfach gleich was Gemütliches, wenn man hier eintritt und zudem noch sehr freundlich begrüßt wird. Der Service während des gesamten Aufenthaltes war genauso herzlich - wenn da nur nicht die Speisen wären. Die gingen sicherlich besser.

A beautiful cider bar in summer and also in winter. Parking spaces are an absolute challenge. The service is nice and helpful. The insider tip is the grilled Schäuffelchen - simply heavenly. One point is deducted for the economical green sauce.

Excellent apple wine bar “Zum Rad” in Seckbach, Frankfurt am Main: an absolute must! I visited the Bembel Bingo at "Zum Rad" for the second time with my family and it was perfect all around. The food was great, came quickly and the portions were huge. Particularly noteworthy is the extremely friendly service, especially from Nicole, our waitress. From the cozy atmosphere to the excellent service from the staff - everything was simply great. I can fully recommend “Zu Rad” and therefore give it 5 out of 5 stars. If you are in Frankfurt am Main, you should definitely stop by here!

As always, a pleasure. Even though we arrived a little late, we were greeted very nicely and shown to the reserved table. Drinks were picked up immediately and brought quickly. Despite the full house and stress, the waitress was always attentive, friendly and always in the mood for a joke. The food was served after about 20 minutes. Great look, rich and tasty portions. It's always worth going here! Rustic Äppelwoi atmosphere!!! The only downside is finding a parking space, but the restaurant can't help it... And don't forget to reserve!!!!

Die Haxe war gewaltig groß, so dass sich der Hund einer Bekannten am nächsten Tag auch noch freuen durfte. Leider war die Haxe aber nicht knusprig und ich musste fast alle meiner Freunde die Kruste naschchen wollten enttäuschen. Das Rippchen war leider sehr trocken. Wir waren zum Ebelwoibingo mit Bappi & Setze dort, die beiden haben alles wett gemacht. Dennoch ein sehr schöner Abend.

Die Schlachtplatte ist nicht zu empfehlen. Die Leberwurst riecht muffig und schmeckt auch so. Die Blutwurst und der gekochte Stich schmecken gut. Der Kartoffelstampf ist auch okay. Habe mich daran erinnert dass ich mich schon einmal über die Leberwurst geärgert habe, scheint also kein Ausreißer gewesen zu sein.

Typisch hessische Spezialitäten. Alles sehr rustikal, auch sie Bedienungen. Habe mich sehr wohl gefühlt und das Essen war super lecker.

Wir waren zu einer Geburtstagsfeier da. Das hessische Essen war Klasse. Das Personal freundlich und motiviert. Das Ambiente schön. Etwas beengt aber ein toller Abend. Empfehlenswert!

Essen Super und der Äppler, was man eigentlich nicht sagen darf, hervorragend. Nur der Preis Pro Person für die Führung in der Kelterei, finde ich mit 8,50€ bisschen übertrieben. Da die Führung nur die Presse und den Keller beinhaltet. Das sind kein 15 Minuten. Aber was tut man nicht alles um eine Lokale zu unterstützen.

Toller Abend lecker essen super service wunderschöner ort, nur parkplatz katastrophe….

Wir waren mit einer Gruppe von etwa 30 Personen zum Abendessen dort und es hat alles hervorragend geklappt und das Essen war sehr gut. Man hatte uns oben im Saal platziert, den wir zwar mit einer anderen Gruppe geteilt haben, das war aber absolut in Ordnung für uns. Der Service war sehr gut, wir hatten ein sehr aufmerksame Bedienung. Alles in allem eine sehr gute Erfahrung und absolut empfehlenswert!

Tolles Brauhaus mit rustikalem Ambiente. Hervorragendes Essen und ausgezeichneter Service runden den Gesamteindruck ab, absolute Empfehlung!

Es ist immer gut besucht und bietet eine urige Atmosphäre. Bei wärmeren Temperaturen kann man sehr gut im Innenhof sitzen. Die Speisekarte bietet vom klassischen Schnitzel bis zur abwechslungsreichen Tageskarte eine gute Auswahl. Ich hab seit langem kein so gutes Schnitzel gegessen.

Wir hatten dort unsere Weihnachtsfeier vom Büro, sehr schönes Ambiente, eine historische Apfelweinwirtschaft. Wir starteten mit Punsch und heißem Apfelwein im schön hergerichteten Innenhof, bestimmt auch im Sommer ein Besuch wert, dann großes Buffet mit gehobener, guter deutscher Küche. Wir hatten Gans, Schweinebraten, Rotkohl, Klöße, Salate, Suppe und diverse Nachtische. Insgesamt gut bis sehr gut, schwanke zwischen vier und fünf Sterne, Punktabzug gibt es nur für den nicht ganz so guten, veganen/vegetarischen Hauptgang und einen Mitarbeiter, der zu den Kindern nicht so freundlich war, haben die Kids aber nur im Nachgang erzählt, Situation konnte ich nicht richtig beurteilen. Bedienungen gegenüber mir einwandfrei und sehr freundlich. Eigene Parkplätze fand ich im sonst beengten Seckbach sehr praktisch. Zur Preis-Leistung kann ich nichts sagen, weil unsere Organisation bezahlte

Traditionelles Lokal im Ortskern von Seckbach. Super leckeres Essen und ein sensationeller Service. Und das, obwohl der Laden am Freitag Abend bis auf den letzten Platz voll war. Auch dann findet der Kellner und der Chef noch freundliche Worte, und Zeit für persönliche Wünsche. Besser geht nicht!
