A real Frankfurt apple wine restaurant. Good food, nice service that remains nice even in hectic times. We were there for Bäppi erotic bingo...an experience of a different kind 😅

A rustic, cozy apple wine bar in Frankfurt-Seckbach. The food was good, solid and the portions were generous. The service was also really nice, quick and helpful. The atmosphere is very rustic, but cozy and clean. The toilets also seemed clean and reasonable. We would definitely come here again 😀. The boss (Robert) is super nice and Celine is also very helpful when it comes to reservations. Thank you 🙏 for your hospitality.

Quaint, original Frankfurt restaurant without the tourist effect. Delicious knuckle. Good schnitzel. Green sauce is not my taste. Mostly friendly service. Frankfurt prices (i.e. a little more expensive). Very difficult parking situation.

Great apple winery in the Seckbach district of Frankfurt. Rustic cosiness with great traditional food. We were a larger group and booked a table in advance. The service is very humorous and comes up with one saying after another. Sometimes quite cheeky. We were very hungry, but had to wait a long time until the table behind us was finally checked in. The Äppler tastes very good. There was a weekly menu, but unfortunately many dishes were no longer available. We all still found what we were looking for and got our food in time. The mashed potatoes were super creamy and the ribs were great quality. We couldn't even try the desserts on offer because we were full from the sumptuous main courses. Unfortunately, the medlar is pickled with too little juice - so only for the tough ones. Spoiler: we were there again - again with the same service... and again with a clumsy manner.

Always worth a visit♥️. The best grilled chicken in the world, plus homemade Äppler, super friendly service, always beautifully decorated. People like to come here as often as possible, no matter the season.

A beautiful cider bar in summer and also in winter. Parking spaces are an absolute challenge. The service is nice and helpful. The insider tip is the grilled Schäuffelchen - simply heavenly. One point is deducted for the economical green sauce.

Great traditional Äbbelwoi Kneipe with delicious homemade Apfelwein and tasty food. For the full Frankfurt experience I recommend Handkäs mit Musik and the Schnitzel with green sauce.

You can eat very well here. The chestnut soup for Christmas dinner was very tasty. I would love to come back.

Just wow, what a warm and welcoming place! The vegan schnitzel was exceptional and the apple wine was delicious. They have some vegetarian food. I eat primarily vegetarian and had that Schnitzel as well as the eggs with green sauce the other day, both were great! In general German cuisine is meat heavy and so is their menu. If you are hungry and eat meat, take the Schäufelchen! I tried it from my friend and that was some of the best meat I ever had. The wine comes in a little carafe called “Bemble”. A “5” means “5 glasses” and is great for two. You can have it as-is, sweet (süß gespritzt) with Fanta or sour (sauer gespritzt) with Sparkling water. Take the sour option and just add 20% water into the glass with the wine! If you want to go big, try the “Mispelchen” which is a local shot with a fruit in it (drink the shot first and eat the fruit right afterwards). But be careful, one is enough 😉 This is hands down the best restaurant in the Frankfurt area providing a warm and welcoming atmosphere with authentic local food.

A restaurant for every occasion. So far I've always had excellent food here - be it schnitzel, knuckle, salad, meat platter, dishes from the daily menu or goose dinner. Particularly noteworthy is the home-made apple wine. You can also see it yourself at the beautiful wine festival. The garden is very inviting and you can enjoy time outside even on colder days thanks to the heaters. You also feel very comfortable in the cozy dining room. We have already held several events here, which were implemented absolutely brilliantly. The in-house events, whether wine festival, St. Martin's fire or Christmas market, are all highly recommended and offer a varied program. The service gets 5*! We are already looking forward to the next time!

Eine Gaststätte für jede Gelegenheit Bisher habe ich hier immer hervorragend gegessen - ob Schnitzel, Haxe, Salat, Schlachtplatte, Gerichte von der Tageskarte oder Gänseessen. Besonders hervorzuheben ist der selbst gekelterte Apfelwein. Beim schönen Kelterfest kann man es sich auch selber anschauen. Der Garten ist sehr einladend und man kann auch dank Heizstrahlern noch an kälteren Tagen die Zeit draußen genießen. In der gemütlichen Gaststube fühlt man sich auch sehr wohl. Wir haben bereits mehrere Veranstaltungen hier durchgeführt, die absolut top umgesetzt wurden. Die hauseigenen Veranstaltungen, ob Kelterfest, Martinsfeuer oder Weihnachtsmarkt, sind alle absolut empfehlenswert und bieten ein abwechslungsreiches Programm. Der Service bekommt 5*! Wir freuen uns schon auf das nächste Mal!

Nice Äppler pub! Above all, the ambience of the entire complex is strikingly pretty and cozy. The in-house cider is, in my opinion, excellent. The card has all the necessary standards and a few extras. The deer goulash was very good. All in all, a great cider farm with a beautiful garden/yard. I have to go again in the summer.

Very rustic Frankfurt Ebbelwoi restaurant with a very good winery and a great courtyard ambience. The food is very, very good. The service with the warmth that Frankfurt is known for and the prices are in the absolutely normal range. Great events are also offered here. Tip...Ebbelwoi Bingo at the end of the year. 😁👍

Visited this beautiful restaurant in Seckbach yesterday and left full of satisfaction. Called at short notice and got a table. Good selection of dishes, something for every taste. There is also a daily menu and another with seasonal dishes. Reasonably priced, great taste. Service was good, but sometimes a bit stressful, which is understandable given the number of guests. Very cozy and quaint, beautiful outdoor areas. I'm looking forward to a visit in the summer. Äppelwoi very tasty. I can highly recommend!

Ate a Christmas party there and all drinks were not available and half of the menu was not available. 2 months ago Reserved for a company Christmas party. I was happy that it was over for me at 10 p.m.

This is the best place for haxen near Frankfurt. ApfelWein is good and the beer is good too. I recommend it.

We were here with a larger group. Even though the restaurant was full, we were served very well and quickly. The food was very tasty. In summer you can also sit in the garden. Accessibility by public transport is given. It's only a 10-minute walk to Lohrberg.

High-quality food, great team - in service as well as in the kitchen - and a nice ambience. It's always worth it, regardless of whether it's summer (beer garden) or winter (cozy room, winter garden). And what it's mainly about, the food: Large portions and regional dishes with high-quality ingredients.

Here you can find the best Äppler in all of Frankfurt. Nice staff, you feel really comfortable here as a Frankfurter. There are now finally vegan schnitzels with green sauce.

We have enjoyed coming here for many years. Sometimes after a bike ride, sometimes as a nice family event. We love this incomparable charm, the friendly and really fast staff and of course the really good food. Today we had Frankfurter Schnitzel with fried potatoes and green sauce and Frankfurter tapas. And for dessert, fresh waffles with mascarpone and raspberry sorbet. Everything is great!

We've eaten in the bike for the second time now. The staff is very nice and the atmosphere in the courtyard is also very cozy. Finding a parking space is challenging but doable. So, now to the food... We were quite disappointed last time. Our son wasn't full at all and ordered something extra to eat. 2nd chance... unfortunately the same. The summer salad was decent for €16.50 + €6.50 chicken, unfortunately only greens and a few tomatoes and cucumbers, hardly any seasoning - completely wrong in price. The schnitzels weren't that great either, the ribs were pretty dry. The “chocolate pudding according to Grandma's recipe” had a strange, solid consistency, and there was a cookie on top of the pudding that was not mentioned anywhere on the menu. Go for a drink and maybe a snack, yes! Unfortunately no to go out for a real meal.

We still know the bike from the times when we were at bookseller school. That was about 45 years ago. Of course everything has become much bigger, and there are no parking spaces at all. But: the Äppelwoi is awesome and so is the green sauce, whether with Frankfurter schnitzel or beef. So, let's go.

Very good food. Decent Hessian cuisine. Even if you're very hungry, you can get a very good portion here at a fair price. There is also something for the little ones. Service is always very attentive and not intrusive. We were well looked after and felt comfortable.

Yesterday we spontaneously had the idea to go cycling. Went there without a reservation, but were warmly welcomed. The garden was completely full, so our meal took a little longer, but we bridged the waiting time with a delicious starter (matching my name :)). The staff were always very friendly and always had a funny saying. Always happy again. Keep it up!

Unfortunately we had to wait another two hours for our food. When we asked several questions, we were always put off briefly. Our neighbors also waited forever but ended up getting their food earlier even though they came later. Unfortunately very incorporated.

We had dinner there yesterday. Due to the weather, a lot of guests were brought in and it was very crowded. We then sat at a table with strangers (not to everyone's taste). But in the end it wasn't so bad. The waiter was super nice, had a lot of tables to serve, took special requests into account and still came relatively quickly for the many tables. The Rad is one of Frankfurt's institutions. A cider pub with a large garden - but it still makes sense to make a reservation! The service is confident and friendly, but sometimes it is so busy that it can take a while. The food is good, but not the best of Frankfurt's apple wine bars. People come here because it's a nice place to sit and drink a good cider - in early summer there's also strawberry punch!

Reservation didn't work out. There are no binding reservations! Good to know :,( Staff very friendly but absolutely overwhelmed and not enough people. Greed of the management staff. The food, I had an onion schnitzel, extra salad, some of the fried potatoes were not cooked properly and the taste was also mass-produced. Onions cooked not fried had no taste. Meat partly with knobs. I expected more. Possibly hire more staff and also prepare the food with a little more dedication. A pity!

Over an hour for food. The order processing also had a strange order. The food for 3 people came 5 minutes apart.

A rustic Frankfurt cider pub with a great summer garden. The food is of good quality and comes relatively quickly. We had the Frankfurter Schnitzel and were very satisfied. The menu is varied, so everyone should find what they are looking for here. The service staff was really very accommodating and we had a lovely evening.

Good home cooking with a slightly modern touch. Nice, large courtyard. A Frankfurt instance. The knuckles at the next table looked delicious. The schnitzel was a bit bland. Service could be a bit warmer.

Unfortunately I have to take back my review with 5 ☆. The quality is no longer what it used to be. Sorry but the food tastes bland. No love and nothing. The service staff are great!

It's always very nice here, the food is good - it can always be better. In my opinion it's a bit loud when there are several people inside, so sound insulation panels would be installed on the ceiling - but that's just my opinion. Otherwise everything was great.

One of the oldest Äbbelwoi restaurants in Germany and by no means ancient or hackneyed. The food is fantastic and the ambience is a mix of old farm and new twist. Romantic, and somehow cool - just like Frankfurt am Main!

Es hat einfach gleich was Gemütliches, wenn man hier eintritt und zudem noch sehr freundlich begrüßt wird. Der Service während des gesamten Aufenthaltes war genauso herzlich - wenn da nur nicht die Speisen wären. Die gingen sicherlich besser.
