I came here on a friend's recommendation and was immediately ordered to submit. The rush of power here is simply insane! But... after trying the food, all was forgiven. Absolutely delicious. (5/5 stars. I'd gladly submit again.) PS: This was all just kidding. I wanted to give those reading this a little laugh. The service was very pleasant, and so was the food, of course.

Club restaurant right by/inside the outdoor pool. Solid Croatian cuisine. Friendly host. A bit dreary inside. But you can enjoy a nice meal on the terrace and watch the swimmers.

We just wanted to have a drink on the terrace and pick up our kids from swimming practice. We had two drinks. Then we were told to leave because all the tables were reserved. There were still five tables free. A bit unfriendly if you're not eating there.

German/Croatian club restaurant with a hall for celebrations and a spacious outdoor area overlooking the swimming pools of the same-named swimming club. The staff was super friendly. The menu is relatively small in terms of Croatian dishes, with schnitzels dominating the menu. The food—I had the grill plate—was okay, but nothing more. As a connoisseur of Croatian cuisine, I've eaten much better, and not just in Croatia. The menu's pricing is a bit confusing to me personally, especially the rump steak, but the owner will know why. My focus is on good value for money. By that, I don't mean cheap, but the food has to be worth the price, and that's exactly what I didn't see in my meal. I'll eat Croatian food elsewhere in the future. I can't yet say whether I'll try the German cuisine.

The food was delicious as always; we've never had anything to complain about. This was despite the fact that we had been warned beforehand that the menu would be reduced due to the chef's last-minute cancellation. The service yesterday was also exceptionally friendly and attentive.

From the friendly ❤️ and attentive service, to the super delicious dishes, ALL of which are lovingly and creatively prepared. From the delicious fish to the great selection of schnitzels and, above all, the super tasty grilled plates, there's something for everyone ;) A special treat is Milka's grilled plate variation. We went there as a family of 10 and were completely satisfied :) The price-performance ratio is absolutely fantastic; you really get a lot for your money. Plus, the portions are really filling. Also worth mentioning are the always fresh and varied starter salads 🥗 We especially love the homemade Djuvec rice, simply fantastic :) We'll be back again and again!!! Conditionally recommended. Perhaps only for club members, since it is a club restaurant after all. We ordered, and the third of three drinks arrived only after the side salad for one of our dishes arrived (breaded mushrooms, veggie plate, and cevapcici skewer). The server's comment about the mushrooms was, "I've got one more, so you (the other person) can eat it if you want." During the meal, we noticed that the server frequently sat at other tables and drank several snippets with the guests. That doesn't paint a good picture. While the plates were being cleared, a very loud question was asked at the neighboring table (more in my ear), which was inappropriate. When I wanted to pay, I asked if it was possible to pay by card. She replied, "I prefer cash!" We certainly won't be coming here again.

Had dinner today for Mother's Day 2025. Delicious as always. Very satisfied! Newly renovated restaurant. Croatian cuisine very tasty, and without a long wait.

Hello ladies and gentlemen, I haven't been your guest yet, but I'm happy to see that there still seem to be restaurant operators who, under the pretext of being driven by inflationary tendencies, don't aggressively stuff their pockets and instead strive for an affordable price level. On the occasion of our son's first communion, we celebrated with around 30 guests in this wonderful restaurant - and it was a complete success! We received warm advice in advance and all of our wishes were implemented with great care. The menu was not only excellently put together, but also tasted at the highest level - a pleasure. Particularly noteworthy is the attentive and friendly service, which made us and our guests feel welcome. Thanks to the dedicated team, this special day was unforgettable for our family. We can wholeheartedly recommend the restaurant and will definitely be happy to come back!

Today we went to the buffet to celebrate the 2nd anniversary directed by Milka and it was wonderfully tasty! Did we have to wait a long time, yes, it was definitely worth the wait! You have to get something like this going first, it's hard work. Some guests, probably also regulars, who had no understanding and took themselves too seriously, naturally had to complain. Incomprehensible to me! We were hungry too, I asked politely if we could have a salad and that was it. The food then came, it smelled tempting and that's exactly how it tasted! Went to the buffet today and it was a disaster. The food took a long time to get to this point and there was far too little. It took a very long time until something was filled up. The food tasted very good. But regular guests got rump steak and the other guests got nothing. The containers were simply put away and there wasn't enough dessert for everyone. It's a shame that you leave hungry for the money. Unfortunately we won't be coming anymore

Hier kann man sehr gut essen, super lecker, Preise fair, nette leute. Es ist für jeden etwas dabei. Kann ich nur empfehlen. Wir werden jetzt regelmäßig kommen

The skewer that was on my plate was very dry. Our service staff spoke German very poorly. There was no receipt or cashier's cell phone, but I didn't ask again.

If you want delicious Croatian food, you've come to the right place! Very nicely prepared, the pictures on the homepage don't lie, but it not only looks good, it also tastes very good! Very good quality, very good service! We were there for the second time within 4 weeks and were not disappointed! Keep it up, the quality, quantity and price are really right here. A clear recommendation! We will definitely come back and spread the word!

Really delicious food with good value for money. And very nice service! I don't understand the negative reviews. Everyone can have a bad day, be sick, etc. When it comes to you, everyone else has to accept it, but it is not tolerated when it comes to service staff. With a little understanding and kind words, everything is possible. Everything was great for us. We look forward to next time! :)

02/09/2025 The food was really excellent, but unfortunately the service left a lot to be desired. The service employee seemed unfriendly and extremely overwhelmed. What bothered us the most, however, was that she apparently tried to rip us off with the receipt. At first we were told that the EC device wasn't working because an update for the new year still needed to be installed. So we paid over €200 in cash. At first we didn't ask for a receipt, but when we later asked for a receipt, they suddenly said the checkout had already been billed WITHOUT an entertainment receipt. Only after asking again was a receipt even CREATED. Another unpleasant experience: Our six-year-old child wanted to order a drink at the counter. The service employee simply replied that she didn't have time, simply left him there and walked away. Only later did she come to our table and take the order the child had previously placed. It's a shame - the cuisine is excellent, but the poor service mars the entire experience. We probably won't come back.

When we entered the restaurant, the staff stared at us instead of greeting us. It took a while until the nice gentleman finally spoke to us and led us to the table. The boss then came and complained straight away because two people out of the original 9 people canceled. We definitely should have told her this. If everyone did that, they wouldn't need so many staff that evening. The food left a lot to be desired. The starter included 5 pepperoni for 5€. The rump steak, which was ordered medium plus, was raw in the middle. After a complaint a new one was brought. In general the portions were quite small. Price-performance ratio is not right. As the boss who represents the restaurant, the attitude towards the customers should be different. The unfriendly looks she gave you or the food she quickly wolfed down at the counter were anything but pleasant. We went there on a recommendation. Once and never again!

The three of us were able to enjoy Milka's hospitality today. We were warmly welcomed and the quality and taste of the food was really good. Special requests were addressed and implemented without any problems. We are travelers, but if there is another appointment in Worms, we will come here again.

Very unfriendly staff and boss. At the drinks reception someone wanted a lovely rose, they were shouted at, "we only have the one" you could say normally. When we were eating, someone wanted a starter and was shouted again: "But the others all have to wait for the main course" - that's normal. Salad disaster, almost no salad dressing on it and no taste. Food overall just average. Considering that each couple of us paid between 60 and 80 euros, the value for money is not right at all. We cannot understand the many good reviews. Quite simply, once and never again.

We really enjoy eating here and can absolutely recommend it. Friendly owner and staff. The food always tastes very good, no matter what we have already eaten. The food is beautifully prepared and always freshly prepared, which is the way you like to eat.

Food was great, but the waitress had a few problems when serving that shouldn't have occurred (wrong food served, etc.), the picture on the wall had a stain with sauce and the lamp above our table only worked after half an hour . The room itself was very unusual and loud.

We had dinner with 8 people on Saturday. Everything was great. Food was plentiful, drinks were well mixed and cold. Our waitress was very courteous and attentive. The boss is also very nice. So in summary, everything was great, I can only recommend it.

It was a very nice evening, we were there for the first time and ate grilled plates, praise for the chef. Especially the Juliska! We recommend it wholeheartedly

We went there for dinner today and unfortunately I have to say it was very disappointing. Got the wrong drinks and complained and didn't receive the promised drink either. Service was very incompetent, some of the food was very salty and fatty. Since only the boss can collect, the waiting time was very long until we could pay. This restaurant did not meet my needs and therefore I would not recommend it.

The three of us went there to eat after swimming in the Poseidon. There wasn't much going on and there was only one waiter, who apparently wasn't allowed to take food or bill him afterwards. So we had to wait 20 minutes for the boss? There was time for us to order food from her... when she finally walked past and I said sorry, we've been waiting for 20 minutes to order something, her answer was: I can't help it... Very friendly! The food was nothing special and sometimes very over-seasoned. Small portions and not cheap. It's a shame, I hoped for more.

For the first time in the restaurant at the Worms swimming pool. The menu on weekdays is manageable, dishes are very well prepared in terms of taste, especially salads, and attractively presented on the plate. The Croatian boss knows her craft in the kitchen!

Katastrophaler Service, nach 3 maliger Bitte um die Rechnung endlich geklappt, beide Servicekräfte machten keinen freundlichen Eindruck. Espresso nicht mal lauwarm, Portionsgröße OK, Geschmack auch ok, aber der Services.........

Erst einmal sorgte die Suche nach dem Restaurant auf Google Maps für Verwirrung. Wer nämlich „Poseidon“ und „Worms“ eingibt bekommt eine Ortsangabe am Hafen in Worms. Erst mit einem bisschen suchen landet man hier am Schwimmbad. Leider war bedingt durch das schöne Wetter aber auch durch Baumassnahmen ein ziemliches Parkchaos ausgebrochen und aufgrund der engen Anfahrt war das Durchkommen auch nicht gerade einfach. Am Ende der Strasse, kurz vor einem Bahnübergang befinden sich dann der Parkplatz und das Lokal. Ein schöner heller Pavillon, sehr schöne Terrasse mit Blick auf das Schwimmbecken des Vereins. Sonnenschirme sorgen zum Teil für Schatten. Im Schwimmbad war reger Betrieb, den Zug hört man auch recht laut. Unsere vorher getätigte Reservierung war vor Ort nicht bekannt und scheinbar waren an dem Tag nur zwei Mitarbeiterinnen vor Ort, eine im Service und eine in der Küche. Beide waren merklich überlastet und schon bei der Bestellung machten Unverträglichkeiten Probleme. Es gab nur ein Salatdressing, Essig und Öl selbst nur um es auf den Tisch zu stellen waren nicht möglich, Zwiebel und Schnittlauch wegzulassen konnte wohl aufgrund von Sprachbarrieren nicht kommuniziert werden. Prompt hatte der Salat dann auch Zwiebeln. Das Joghurtdressing war dann auch nichts Besonderes. Kraftlos, wässrig. Der Beilagensalat, serviert auf riesigen Tellern war etwas wenig und etwas verloren. Die Tomaten waren nicht wirklich reif und ich hätte mir Salz dazu gewünscht. Das Hacksteak mit Reiss hingegen war sehr hübsch angerichtet und sah auch selbst gemacht aus. Im Reiss waren Zwiebeln und Paprika. Etwas Garnitur aber sehr hübsch. Portion und Preis waren in Ordnung. Leider schleppte der Service etwas bei den Nachbestellungen von Getränken, was daran lag, dass die Dame alleine war. Allerdings hatte sie auch nicht wirklich die Karte im Kopf (kleine Sommerkarte) und unserer Meinung nach hätte sie sich mit dem Aufschreiben der Nummern der komplett durchnummerierten Karte etwas leichter getan, anstatt die Gerichte auszuschreiben. Wahrscheinlich ebenfalls der Kommunikation mit der Küche geschuldet. Zum Ende des Abends entspannte sich die Lage spürbar aber eine weitere Person im Service ist dringend nötig. Gut an dem Tag hatte der Koch frei aber wenn man unterbesetzt ist, dann muss man eben zu machen. Der obligatorische Schnaps beim Kroaten war ein Likör, der nicht wirklich gut war. Wir tippten auf Aprikose, die Bedienung meinte aber es wäre Banane. Ich für meinen Teil muss dafür nicht wirklich noch mal nach Worms fahren.

Kinder nicht gerne gesehen, die werden gelegentlich angeschnautzt. Erstaunlich, denn es handelt sich um eine Vereinsgaststätte mit Terrasse zum angeschlossenem wunderschönen Freibad, wo sich viele Kinder und Familien tummeln. Essen ist sehr gut und ordentlich. Alleine das reicht aber nicht zum Wohlfühlen. Die Gäste, ob groß ob klein, sollte man freundlich und zuvorkommend behandeln.

Children are not welcome; they are occasionally snapped at. Amazing, because it is a club restaurant with a terrace overlooking the beautiful outdoor pool, where many children and families frolic. Food is very good and decent. But that alone is not enough to feel good. Guests, whether large or small, should be treated in a friendly and courteous manner.

The food is good, the portion size is a bit small for the price. It's a shame that there is only one vegetarian meal to choose from on the summer menu. The service seems overwhelmed and somewhat unfriendly. Unfortunately there is only Pfungtstädter beer. Nevertheless, the evening was good

Friendliness is written in small letters!!! My sausage salad was very clear, there was more decoration than sausage on the plate. The fries were crispy, but not a good choice (lots of dark spots) and very small. Overall, the 6 of us at the table weren't particularly enthusiastic about ANYTHING. A PITY!!!!!

A good restaurant, with good cuisine. It's very nice to sit inside and outside. We regularly eat there with my grandma and have always been satisfied. The food (today a salad plate and sausage salad) was great, the portion was large and the fries (for me an important criterion for a restaurant;) were very good. Gladly again.

The food was actually quite ok and the view of the swimming pool was also nice. The food was also brought quickly. The boss and the waitress were very unfriendly and we were sometimes shouted at.

The restaurant staff are very rude, if you want to ask for a menu they either walk past or say they don't have time. Instead of giving a normal answer like "Yes, wait a minute," they come up with it and say "I don't have time right now

We were in the restaurant with several people. At first we received very slow service and had to expect constant waiting times, even though the restaurant wasn't particularly full. The service wasn't that friendly at first, but that changed for the better over the course of the evening. As for the food, you have to say it was delicious and very attractively prepared. At the end there was a schnapps on the house.

We booked a buffet at Poseidon as part of a department celebration. The kitchen and the boss have outdone themselves and all wishes have been taken into account. The food was very good and plenty. As soon as something was empty, more was added. As a starter there was a salad buffet. The main courses had a varied selection and our vegetarians also got their money's worth. There were different types of meat (pork, beef, lamb and turkey), side dishes and vegetables. The boss was very nice and the service was also very accommodating. The next room was nicely prepared for us and the tables were set. It was a very successful evening with a very good meal. The location of the restaurant is also very nice with a view of the outdoor pool. We can highly recommend the restaurant and its team and would be happy to come back (also privately).

Das Restaurant war überraschend groß, gut ausgeleuchtet und trotz vieler Gäste angenehm ruhig. Die Bedienung war freundlich und aufmerksam, sie kam regelmäßig zu uns an den Tisch. Das Essen war schmackhaft und sehr liebevoll angerichtet. Die Preise waren moderat und die Portionen groß. Zum Abschluss gab es noch einen Schnaps aufs Haus. Das Restaurant liegt etwas abseits, neben dem Schwimmbad für den Schwimmclub. Es gab Parkplätze vor dem Gebäude, man muss mit dem Auto allerdings eine etwas abgelegene Straße verwenden. Hunde sind willkommen.

It was our first time at Poseidon, but definitely not the last time. The food was imaginative and unusually decorated and also very good. We both chose cordon bleu. This was served in ball form. A little unusual, but very tasty. Attentive and friendly boss as well as the young waitress. Gladly again. 👍

The restaurant's culinary offering is wide-ranging and ranges from unusual dishes to home-style cooking. So there is something for every taste. The staff is very attentive and accommodating. The boss also personally asked about our well-being. We are happy to recommend the restaurant and will certainly eat there more often in the future.
