Das Essen war jedesmal sehr lecker. Das Personal war sehr freundlich, nett und hilfsbereit. Wir können das Lokal sehr empfehlen.

5 Sterne auf alles! Die Vorspeisen, die Mix-Platte, der Service… alles war top! Wir werden wieder kommen, bis bald🙏🏼

Das Essen war sooo lecker! Der Kellner sprach zwar kein Englisch, hat sich aber sehr bemüht, uns zu verstehen. Er war so lieb zu den Kindern, hat mit ihnen gespielt und ihnen Kissen gebracht. Ein tolles Erlebnis! Definitiv mein neues Lieblings-Grieche.

Ein schönes griechisches Restaurant in Worms und unserer Meinung nach auch das Beste seiner Art in Worms. Speisen sind authentisch zu fairen Preisen.

Ich finde eine tolle Gaststätte, freundliche Bedienung und super gutes Essen. Reservierung bei großen Gruppen ist bestimmt von Vorteil.

Ein großartiger Ort für ein Treffen mit Freunden! Wir waren eine größere Gruppe von Polen und jeder hat etwas anderes bestellt – die Speisekarte ist sehr vielfältig, sodass wirklich jeder etwas für sich findet. Die Portionen sind wirklich großzügig, und die Geschmäcker haben unsere Erwartungen übertroffen – alles war hervorragend. Lediglich das Salatdressing könnte etwas weniger Essig enthalten, aber das ist nur ein kleines Detail im Vergleich zum insgesamt sehr positiven Eindruck. Ein besonderes Lob verdient der Service: Trotz der großen Gruppe wurde alles reibungslos und pünktlich serviert, und selbst wenn man kurz warten musste, blieb der Kellner ruhig und äußerst professionell. Wir empfehlen das Restaurant auf jeden Fall weiter!

Das beste griechische Essen, dass ich jemals genießen durfte. Der Salat super knackig und frisch.....die Vorspeise und das Hauptgericht ein Traum. Das Fleisch zart, heiß und nicht überwürzt. Einfach genial 👍🏻 Der Service "Kellner" super freundlich und zuvorkommend. Ich kann dieses Restaurant nur empfehlen und würde, wenn ich könnte 20 ☆ geben. Wir waren voller Vorfreude zum essen ,dauerte 45 Minuten na ,ja. Mein Vorspeiseteller war sehr spährlich und lieblos gemacht dazu war das einzige gefüllte Weinblattröllchen auch noch sauer, der Feta war Camembert und ich weiss nicht wie der nach Griechenland kam?? Leider nicht mehr wie ich es gehofft und gekannt habe.

Lecker essen, Preise mittlerweile angezogen. Aber immernoch bezahlbar. Man könnte evtl ein wenig der "Deko" entfernen. Sieht irgendwie zugeramscht aus.

Unfortunately, the food tasted reheated, and the meat was somewhat lost in the salad water. While the portion was generous, the quality unfortunately didn't really shine through.

We were here on a Sunday lunchtime. It wasn't crowded, and the food arrived quickly. It was delicious, and the people were super friendly! Highly recommended :)

The food was very good and tasty, and the menu selection was varied. What I particularly like is that almost all dishes are offered as senior plates. Delicious food, favorite Greek restaurant for over 15 years

We all enjoyed it. Even the seniors' plate was more than enough. The liver and the other meat dishes came fresh from the grill, juicy on the inside and crispy on the outside.

Die Taverna ist sehr ansprechend eingerichtet. Man isst bei griechischer Musik. Das ist, wie ein kleiner Urlaub in Hellas. Der Empfang und die Bedienung waren sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Das Essen, wir hatten beide Moussaka, war reichlich und mega lecker. Auch die hausgemachte Limonade war ausgezeichnet. Für uns eine klare Empfehlung. Vielen Dank an das Team von der "Olive", für den tollen Mittag. Es war traumhaft 🥰

We went to Olive for dinner with the family today. When we got the side salads and started eating my partner noticed something white. As we quickly discovered, it was a white paper towel that he already had partially in his mouth! Pooh! I took it straight to the boss and he took the salad without a word and brought it to the kitchen. A new salad was brought to us, but of course my partner had completely lost his appetite for salad! When I asked the waiter to send the boss to us again to tell him that I couldn't understand how something like this could happen, that we wouldn't pay the full price and that no one had even apologized to us, he then said he wanted to tell us that when we were paying and offered not to pay for one dish. I am extremely disappointed and yes we are all human and mistakes happen, but in my opinion something like this shouldn't happen in a restaurant. We won't eat there again and unfortunately I can't recommend it. Absolute “No Go”!

Sehr geehrtes Team ....Taverne, die Olive, in Worms, heute wollten wir( zwei freundliche aufgeschlossenen Menschen) einen wunderschönen Abend in dieser schönen Taverne verbringen. Kurz nachdem wir bezahlt hatten....kam ein Mitarbeiter an unseren Tisch und sagte zu uns, dass dieser Tisch jetzt gebraucht werde und wir deshalb das Restaurant verlassen sollten.......ja also..... das war sooooooo unglaublich....da bleiben Dir erst mal die Worte im Halse stecken......so etwas ist uns in unserem ganzen Leben noch nicht passiert......wir dachten bis dahin....das zahlende Gäste etwas ganz besonderes seien und diese natürlich herzlich und wertschätzend behandelt werden.....aber heute Abend wurden wir eines Besseren belehrt......wir wurden als zahlende, angenehme, nette Gäste .... einfach auf die Straße geschickt.....weil das Restaurant Team unseren Tisch noch einmal vermietet hatte .....ohne uns vorher darauf aufmerksam gemacht zu haben.....das die Tische mehrmals pro Abend vermietet werden.....es gibt ein Sprichwort: Hochmut kommt vor dem Fall....in diesem Sinne beenden wir jetzt unseren Text. Gerne darf jeder sich seine eigenen Gedanken dazu machen. Wir wünschen allen Menschen eine schöne Zeit.......

Very extensive menu and good quality of food

It was a wonderful evening for two, very tasty Greek food and drinks. I can only recommend the restaurant.

Wir sind zum Abendessen zum Griechen gegangen. Es gibt eine reichhaltiges Speiseangebot. Die Portionen sind sehr groß, für ältere Gäste gibt es auch eine Seniorenkarte. Das Essen war sehr lecker. Das Restaurant war auch gut besucht, eine Tisch Reservierung ist empfehlenswert. Bitte auch Bargeld mitnehmen, Kartenzahlung ist leider nicht möglich. Insgesamt war es ein schöner Abend.

Super Essen, nette lustige Bedienung, Lokal zum wohlfühlen , gut mit Bus und Auto zu erreichen , im Frühjahr ,Sommer kann man schön draußen sitzen

Unfortunately, our visit to the Olive restaurant was a few months ago, but I have now decided to describe our experiences in this restaurant here. We were there for lunch. My dish included gyros and fried liver. I would have liked to have roasted onions instead of raw onions with the fried liver. This would not have been possible without an additional charge, noting that the roasted onions required more work. The increased effort would have amounted to a little over €3. Personally, I find that outrageous. The fried liver was excellent, the gyros cold and without a bite. As we were clearing away the waiter asked if we were satisfied. I told him what I didn't like and specifically that really good liver highlighted. The boss, who had taken the order himself, asked the waiter if there were any problems. When he told him that we weren't completely satisfied, the boss shouted through the restaurant that he hadn't expected anything else from us. I have never experienced such behavior from a restaurant owner.

For me it has been one of the best Greek restaurants in Worms for a long time. Already in the Waldeslust in the Wormser Wäldchen, the Olive impresses with a beautiful ambience and very attentive service staff. I simply taste sensational there.

We have finally found a great Greek again. The food is really delicious. The staff is never stressed and very helpful and friendly. Price performance is top. The meat is on point and not tough and dry. My son and girlfriend, who are very picky when it comes to food, also say everything is great.

The food was very good, meat tender with a strong grilled aroma, great sauce for the pepperoni, great fries. The salad was crisp and fresh and the salad dressing was also very tasty. If you don't like beetroot or celery, you should say so before ordering, because that's what's in the salad. (It went very well in the salad - for my taste)

You go to the restaurant to eat, and the food here is very delicious! Everything we ordered was really tasty, so much so that we were completely amazed by the good food. The homemade wine was also very tasty. We would be happy to come back.

Yesterday the waiter welcomed us at the entrance with his mouth full, chewing. Gyros had no seasoning at all and it tasted like it had been warmed up on the pan. Souvlaki was fried to death and accordingly dry and chewy. You could only eat the French fries and the tzatziki. Big minus point: no card payment possible in 2024. Overall not recommended.

I've been eating here for 14 years, first at Waldeslust and now at Taverne die Olive. It is and remains my favorite restaurant in the city. Incredibly friendly staff who are happy to joke with you. The food has always been excellent, the best being the pepperoni.

It's always nice to be here, it's like staying with friends! My husband surprised me for our wedding anniversary and the staff prepared everything beautifully and looked after us wonderfully. We definitely recommend a visit here! Food is great too, thank you very much for that!

Well... Mousaka was quite boring and tasted more like potato casserole than eggplant. The baguette with the starter cream, which cost almost 8 euros, was also boring bread that was dry (except for the areas that were drowned in oil) and tasted like a discount baguette. No wonder the store was almost empty on a Friday evening!

We were traveling through by bike and discovered this great Greek restaurant! Super nice Greeks! Great food! Great for eating outside, as it is in a quiet location with a view of the towers of the cathedral! Definitely recommended!!

A little away from the hustle and bustle, beautifully located under plane trees, you can eat at Original Greeks. Nice and friendly staff, good Greek cuisine.

The service is great and the selection of Greek dishes is great. I chose the beef liver with fries and onions, very tasty.

The food was delicious, except for the Mykonos plate, which was cold and most of the liver was raw. Maybe it was because they tried to serve eight meals at once. Definitely worth a visit.

We were there again at Christmas in 2021 and got an appointment again at short notice. My husband had gyros but the meat quality wasn't that good. Was pretty gristly. The salad was really cold and unfortunately there was too much vinegar. But the steaks were good. We were there again today and the food was excellent. Everything was fresh, large portions and the salad was delicious again. We only had to wait a short time for our food.

I spontaneously visited this Greek taverna today. On a Saturday shortly before 12 p.m. there was relatively little going on, I had a free choice of seats. I chose a Mykonos plate, it tasted good, the plate could only have been warmed, then you could have enjoyed a warm dish for longer. The service is very attentive and friendly, I would like to come back

Was here for the first time the day before yesterday with my mother and uncle, even though it was relatively full, luckily there were still free tables as we hadn't made a reservation. The first impression was very positive: Nicely decorated and the people around us seemed to be too It was good to go here. We had a Santorini platter and, as a starter, tzatziki with garlic bread. We really liked the garlic bread alone, so we had good pre-impressions of the platter. The record was definitely massive. Although the plate is only intended for 2 people, all three of us were full. The minced meat and pork steaks were really incredibly good. The only thing I think could be improved is the gyro, as it was extremely dry in some places At least I didn't eat all of my portion of the gyro. Plus a few more croquettes couldn't have hurt. All in all, a very good dinner, I would definitely come back :)

Ich hatte Gyros mit Metaxa, leider ist das Gyros für meinen Geschmack zu grob geschnitten, die Metaxasoße sehr lecker 😋 Ambiente sehr schön aber von der Akustik zu laut. Wirtzleute sind sehr sehr freundlich und haben auch mal ein späßle gemacht
