Zum Landstreicher in Dresden

We ate at your place yesterday. The main courses (schnitzel, sauerbraten, pike-perch) were very good. What I didn't like were the potatoes with the fish (they looked strangely translucent and didn't taste that great either). My son had the nuggets (children's dish) – so wonderfully frozen. And to finish, the ice cream. Better off getting that off the menu – it's all ready-made stuff (I agree with the ice cream), but with whipped cream from a can and raspberries from a can, and the whole thing was served in a really unimaginative way.... The main courses were really good. And yet, the dessert remains the most memorable because it was the last thing I ate at your place. Still, 4 stars because the visit was still affordable and the service was very friendly. Update 5/23/2025 We visited you again yesterday at the request of friends, and apart from the really good service, there isn't much good to report. I ordered a trout with fries. I got something streamlined in oil with a sloppy breading, the size of a herring, and very little seasoning. I've rarely eaten a worse trout. To make up for it, I got a piece of seasoned meat and an ice cream on the house (both were okay)...but we paid for three instead of one house beer. So, we paid handsomely for the compensation meals. I'm just not having any luck at the Landstreicher...so this was truly my last visit.

We had lunch with a group, everything was perfect, food was very tasty and portions were large, service was friendly and quick, very comfortable, we would love to come back.

We were here for lunch. Despite the restaurant being full, we were quickly seated. The service was very friendly and attentive, and the portions were really large, but not only that, they were also really good. However, the food is definitely meat-heavy; vegetarians and especially vegans won't find anything to their liking here. Absolutely fair prices. Having leftovers packed up wasn't a problem at all—we'll be back!

Were there yesterday with a larger group. The evening was a complete success. The staff were very friendly and always happy to have fun. I can recommend the liver. You have to order the side dish with it, so everyone gets their own taste.

I call to make a reservation and they answer. "How? What do you want to book? I don't understand. What do you mean, what do you want to book? Obviously they aren't the brightest minds in town.

Order a delicious schnitzel here and you will get a perfect one, not in a deep fryer but really just fried. Great! And the service is very friendly and good. We sat on the Elbe and ate and of course had a good beer 😉🍺

In any case, this restaurant is recommended, preferably with a reservation. Rustic atmosphere and regional cuisine with a great team. I give this 5 points with full conviction!!!

A very tasty meal. A great view of the river and a nice, cozy atmosphere that the restaurant and beer garden exude. We lingered in the beer garden. The food was really tasty. The portion and the price are in a healthy relationship. Always a recommendation to stay there.

We went there spontaneously as a family. The service was super friendly, attentive and also in the mood to have fun. The food was delicious and everyone had a great evening. A little deduction in the B grade for the indoor climate in the toilets. I've only ever walked or driven past it, but how wonderfully quaint this restaurant is. You feel like you are in an alpine hut. Wonderful ambience. In addition, there was a consistently friendly and service-oriented staff. The price-performance ratio was also great. Really big portions for a good price. We rolled out of the restaurant 😉. It also tasted like Muddern or Grandma's. The fried potatoes could have kissed the pan a little longer, but that's complaining at a high level. The tramp offers really good home cooking. Will definitely come back. We were a large group and the food came to the table almost at the same time, you have to time it first. So all thumbs up 😉🤩

The staff was friendly, but the organization was a disaster. I waited almost an hour and a half for the food. And then it didn't even taste good. I was really disappointed. I won't be coming back a second time.

Went to the Tramper again for a long time and were pleasantly surprised. The food was very tasty and well prepared, the service was very friendly and accommodating and there is no need to discuss the ambience at Landstreicher. We can only recommend the restaurant and will definitely come again.

You can sit outside on the terrace in summer. Inside it's almost a theme restaurant...on the theme...vagrant (?) Cozy, country-style furnishings with lots of decorations and wall paintings etc. The food is hearty and very tasty.

We like to go here, but unfortunately the staff is overwhelmed with the catering on a planned sunny weekend. Unfortunately not very hospitable, we would have been satisfied with little things but that turned into a visit to the Watzke.

Stopover during the Christmas season: There were sausages and mulled wine outside, very tasty. There is also a beautiful and relaxing view of the Elbe. If you go along the Elbe, you should plan a stop here.

Ich kenne kaum ein Restaurant wo ich meine Beilage extra bestellen und noch dazu extra bezahlen muss. Das Rostbrätl war so klein und die paar Bratkartoffeln für 3,70 war überhäuft mit sehr sehr vielen Zwiebeln...... Licht gab es über dem Tisch auch nicht......hätte ich es vorher gesehen hätte ich es zurück gegeben.......das war ja weniger als eine Seniorenportion und dafür 20,60 €...und nicht satt rausgegangen..

If you want good cuisine and miss warmth and a family atmosphere everywhere else, this is the right place for you. Decent portions, super tasty and exceptional. Because where else can you find cabbage noodles, dead grandma, farmer's breakfast and knuckle today - and dozens of other home-style dishes. I've been here countless times and will always come back and, above all, take others there - so far always with outstanding feedback. Thank you!!!

It feels like the tramp has been around forever – and for good reason. The staff has always been nice and courteous, which makes the visit pleasant every time. I recommend reserving in advance to be sure of getting a seat, as the restaurant is rightly popular. Except for a few times, neither I nor my family, friends or acquaintances were disappointed. Maybe it was due to a change in cooking, vacation or just bad luck - fortunately these moments were rare. Otherwise, there is always good, honest cuisine and exciting specialties that you can't find everywhere. Keep it up, I'll be happy to come back! 😊

I eat there regularly and it's always tasty. The prices are very good for the huge portions I've had so far. The staff is always friendly and sometimes jokes. The furnishings consist of many old objects, all hanging wildly on the walls or on the edge. It's too much/busy for me personally, but that's a matter of taste. I'm already looking forward to the next visit and the delicious food.

There's just a wow. I'm at a loss for words but I'll try. The food is amazing and in a great atmosphere. And the staff and service Something so nice and relaxed that you feel comfortable. Price and performance simply top!!!!!!! Keep it up and I can only recommend you.

We went to an event in Dresden on January 11, 2025. We previously reserved seats online. Our focus was German cuisine not far from the venue that evening. First we discovered an excellent location, right on the Elbe, which invited us to take a walk. As we literally immersed ourselves in the inn, a feeling of comfort and harmony came over us. The selection of drinks and food was promising. I think there were at least 8 types of beer that were recommended to us. The choice of food was such that the decision was really difficult. We chose rib eye entrecode, cordon bleu (venison) and winter schnitzel. A harmonious atmosphere among the service staff also rounded off the evening. The dishes were excellent and at the same time more than sufficient. We would like to thank you very much for this really successful evening. It was fun and eventful, both in terms of food and the staff. I am convinced that this was not our last visit. Thank you very much and greetings from Magdeburg

The Landstreicher is a really cozy restaurant with a view of the Elbe. Today we reserved the cozy niche with a round table and leather bench. The dining room was nice and warm while we could look out over the snow-covered Elbe landscape. The service was very accommodating, cheerful and friendly. The price-performance ratio is absolutely right here. The portions are very generous and everything tastes very tasty. Home cooking at its best. A successful Sunday dinner, we'll be back.

Perfect clocky German restaurant I would eat here again and again if I was in Dresden. Moderate prices for this delicious food. We were more than thrilled and would recommend it to everyone here. All we can say is thank you.

Particularly noteworthy is the very friendly and attentive service by the waitresses. A minus point is the quite high prices.

Great location, great food with huge portions, the schnitzel is probably 300g. The gravy was great, solyanka was delicious. The schnitzel was still freshly made, no ready-made item, the waiter was very, very nice. My daughter and I were very satisfied.

We had dinner here at the Landstreicher on December 11th, 2024 for the Christmas party with 33 people. It was very busy, as there was a second Christmas party included, and day-to-day business seemed to be going well. Despite the fact that the shop was packed, the food came in a very reasonable time and the staff was always very friendly. The food tasted very good. I myself had the XXL schnitzel with fried potatoes. You had to look for the fried potatoes, not because there were few of them, but because the schnitzel was really an XXL schnitzel and it almost covered the entire plate :-). People often asked if they wanted to order anything else. These orders were carried out very quickly and friendly. Many colleagues said that it was a very successful evening. Short and sweet: Very tasty food and great service.

We visited this restaurant on Sunday with a prior reservation. The Landstreicher has a cozy atmosphere and is located directly on the Elbe. The staff is super attentive and careful, despite the large number of guests we didn't have to wait for drinks. The food was freshly prepared and arrived promptly after ordering. I had Grützwurst and felt transported back to my childhood. Superbly prepared and damn tasty. I can also highly recommend the Landstreicher beer. Call and reserve, I can only recommend it. You have to know.

Were there for the 4th time yesterday. When we visit from Leipzig, the tramp is a must. The food is really amazing. The portions are for adults. The staff is very friendly and quick. So if you like good German cuisine, you're in good hands at Landstreicher. 👍

Unfortunately it was very disappointing. The meat was wonderfully tender, but it didn't taste like anything. The dumplings were pre-packaged, the beans and bacon were bland and the sauce was pre-packaged. All in all a very disappointing meal. The price is far too high for this quality.

I celebrated my birthday on October 31st, 2024 with friends and family here and everyone was really impressed, very tasty food, super nice and funny service, just an all-round successful evening. Big thanks again to the entire “vagrant” team I can recommend this restaurant with a clear conscience
