We had dinner there with friends on Sunday. The food was good, a young lady was very nice and friendly. She also received and earned tips. The other ladies are a bit bitchy, moody, We have our regular restaurants and Zum Krummen Hund will not be one of them.

We go there regularly and are always happy. It feels a bit like family when you go there

Yesterday we were able to enjoy the Christmas party there with our driving school with around 35 people. A buffet of the finest was served and from the boss to the nice service staff it was just positive. The quality of the food has to be imitated first... So there are 5 stars plus

We dined there with a group of 8 people. Everyone was very happy with their food. The portions are quite large. The operation and service is top. Despite the venue being busy, food was served quite quickly. Feel free to stop by there again for dinner.

Unfortunately, I was once again disappointed with the food. My dish was totally over-seasoned and the vegetables were mushy. The potato wedges were fried for far too long. The positive thing was that the food was ready quite quickly and the service staff was attentive and absolutely friendly.

When it's full, it's relatively loud there. The service is unique and suits the Ruhr area. We were there twice, once during the Cranger Christmas fair with a larger group and another time with two people. The food was good and plentiful, although some dishes were a bit greasy.

Unfortunately, when it comes to food, the focus is on quantity instead of quality. Unfortunately, the steak we ordered didn't taste good at all. Service and ambience is right. Parking can be difficult depending on how busy it is.

Unsere Truppe wurde robust und herzlich begrüßt.Jeder wurde individuell bedient und bekam genau das was er/sie wollte.Das Essen kam sehr schnell und war äußerst lecker und reichhaltig. Wir hatten hier viel Spaß. Auch als die Terrasse wirklich gut gefüllt war,hatte die Chefin noch immer den Überblick und ihren Charme.

War bei der Kirmes mit meiner Familie dort essen. Es war nur auf schnell, schnell gebürstet. Pommes nicht ausreichend fritiert, Schaslik ohne Gesmack und zum Teil angebrant. Meine Suppe schlampig angerichtet, Teller zum Teil dreckig. Nie wieder.

The food was pretty mediocre, the waitress (with the red hair) had no idea and apparently didn't want to do her job, when asked about allergens the only answer she got was no idea, instead of that I'll give you some experience. The fair map is no longer up to date, especially with regard to the use of the toilets!

I was in the restaurant for the first time yesterday. The location is great, there is always parking and the restaurant is so well located that it only takes half an hour to reach it, even from Rheinberg. The service was great. Very quick, courteous and warm in dealing with guests. The very nice ambience inside and the cozy beer garden outside are even topped by the food. There is a very diverse menu. All dishes were fresh, well prepared and the portion size was more than decent. A clear recommendation, always happy! I discovered my new favorite restaurant.

That the chef dares to do that!!! I ordered from the special menu. Schnitzel with mixed mushrooms believed to be eaten seasonally. Not even close. Canned mixed mushrooms with brown sauce from the bag. Plus a schnitzel, incredibly thickly breaded and drowned in this horrible sauce. I tried it and stopped eating. The waitress was very nice and obviously understood that I wasn't eating any more. I paid and I'm definitely not coming back.

Das der Koch sich das traut!!! Ich habe von der Sonderkarte bestellt. Schnitzel mit gemischten Pilzen im Glauben saisonal zu essen. Weit gefehlt. Mischpilze aus der Dose mit brauner Soße aus der Tüte. Dazu ein Schnitzel, unglaublich dick paniert und mit dieser grausigen Soße ertränkt. Habe probiert und das Essen eingestellt. Die Bedienung war sehr nett und hat offensichtlich nachvollziehen können, dass ich nicht weiter esse. Ich habe gezahlt und komme ganz sicher nicht wieder.

I can recommend the restaurant “Zum krummen Hund” to anyone who likes a home-style meal. We like to go here as a couple, with friends, with family or to pick up food. We appreciate the relaxed atmosphere here and especially the open-minded nature of the waiters! The approximately 4 beers on tap are also special, something that is rare in the area. Since we come here often, we know that the food always comes to the table very quickly. So if you would rather sit down and have a drink first, you should probably not order food straight away, but rather wait before ordering and just order the starter. Our favorite meal is schnitzel with sambal hollandaise and fries! First of all, most dishes come with a salad with a really delicious “cocktail” dressing! Most of the time we can't manage a starter or dessert because the portions are very large. If you are more hungry, we like to have the “false snails” (fillet tips in garlic hollandaise) and if you are less hungry, you can order most dishes as a senior portion. The Sea Dream salad is really a dream - especially on the terrace in summer! We love coming here and are already looking forward to our next visit!

A really good restaurant, with really tasty dishes- at fair prices! I had a schnitzel that I could barely finish. Everything fresh, salads and sauces. Steak was a 4-5 cm thick piece grilled to perfection. A senior plate is often offered. If you pre-order and pick up you get a 20% discount!!! Incredible, is not it? We have a new favorite restaurant :-)
