Totally nice service and super delicious food

Friendly service and very tasty food. We have been coming to the Goldener Hahn for many years and have never been disappointed. We check regularly to see if everything is still OK. We are always very satisfied.

Highly recommended location. The food was simply delicious and the service was very friendly. We always enjoy coming back.

We were at the Golden Hahn again today and were, as always, very satisfied. The food was simply brilliant and the service was very accommodating.

Everything that could go wrong went wrong, and on top of that I was insulted by the boss. Absolute no-go. --- EDIT --- After thinking about it for a few days, I'm still pretty amazed at how I was treated as a customer. I really hope that it was just an exception and that it never happens again. Mistakes happen and that is also human. What doesn't work is the way criticism was handled... (or in an unreasonable way and then there's the matter of such a thing...) Some context: We were a larger group. We made reservations for 25 people, which was set up in a separate room. So far so good. So we ordered something to drink, food had to be pre-ordered (schnitzel breaded & natural) and side dishes. After a good while the first meal arrived which was distributed directly on plates on the tables, so far so good, but it was far too little for the number of guests, well we'll get there... (about 1-2 mini schnitzels per person) My partner had a piece of mini schnitzel (nugget size) and I still had nothing.... after a good 20 minutes without replenishment, side dishes were brought once in that time (fries), unfortunately exactly what was available 3 times, and spaetzle were rare, we asked the waitress what the replenishment looked like. She said that there were more people than we had agreed and that it would therefore take longer. Someone had called today and said that only 15 people would come... Well, the person sitting next to me ordered a cyclist. And after another 20 minutes a few schnitzels arrived, which unfortunately didn't make it to our table because Kellerin had first served the other table. We took it all with a lot of humor and were still in a good mood. Since I wanted to eat spaetzle with my schnitzel, I told the boss that we also needed schnitzel and spaetzle. They arrived after a good 10 minutes, but unfortunately they went to another table, but they were very happy because they didn't have any spaetzle beforehand. The colleague's beer hadn't arrived at that time either. Everyone else was left high and dry too. Personally, I didn't have the feeling that they really wanted to make sales because drinks in particular could have been sold a lot more, but I realized that 2 waitresses for the number of people + normal dining room is a bit much... Then finally the main course came again 1 hour 20 minutes after arriving at the pre-ordered meal.... So I took something there for the first time and had the few remaining spaetzle served from the table next door. And then I told the boss that, then I guess she didn't speak well to me anymore. The colleague's beer took 30 minutes and he asked again... She's only making meat now... that was the statement before... We just didn't want to go anymore and wanted to leave, and I tried to tell her that in a friendly way when we were paying. But she was immediately blocked, we're always running... I just said OK, that's fine, we don't understand each other, I turned around and just hear: “What does this A...” want? Many thanks again to the anonymous guest who then intervened and managed to get the boss to apologize. And I calmed down. But the evening was over.

Wow what quality and what great delicious food. I like coming here because the portions are quite large for little money. Quality is outstanding, many are homemade. My recommendation is to reserve a table, arrive and enjoy the best there is in the region. Small, cute and cozy

The visit to the beer garden is rated: • Eat good • Staff friendly • Unfortunately, at some point you end up stranded and in the dark because the service staff can't come out and there is no lighting at all, let alone candles on the tables. CONCLUSION: Despite good food, rather disappointing. 🥴

Food very good but waiting time long. It's nice to sit outside, but you should bring your own tea light for later because you'll be left sitting in the dark. At some point there was no more service and after half an hour, during which we would have liked to drink something (in the dark 🤪), we had to go inside and make ourselves known so that we could pay. We probably could have just left like that. Nobody really cared that a table outside was still occupied. If you want to finish work, you can simply communicate that. It's a shame, you can scare away the guests that way.

We spontaneously came to the Goldener Hahn with 13 people because of a class reunion. The waitress had previously asked if we could eat here. Lots of groaning, stupid comment "you make reservations for such a large group" so that's why I came in and asked if it was possible to eat here, I could have said no. After back and forth and consultation with the chef, she gave us the 'GO' with a lot of huffing and eye rolling, very unpleasant. Also: “you just have to wait a long time”. As we were being served, there were snarky comments, "If everyone now orders something different..." it was like a comedy, we took it with a LOT of humor. The icing on the cake was when we asked for salt and pepper, the comment from the waiter was “now try this first”. We couldn't stop laughing. But he was really serious. We didn't get any pepper or salt. In contrast to the service, the food is very, very tasty. The meat is fresh and tender, the Maultaschen are super tasty. There was only one vegetarian dish, ravioli, which was rather limited in quantity.

Food was good but waiting times were very long! 2 hour waiting time

Enjoy your meal Service could be better. There should be no alcohol consumption at an event.

Actually 7/5 stars. Rarely eaten so good so cheaply (relatively). We were there on a Wednesday evening and it was very, very busy for such good food. It's really a shame because the food is really very good.

You walk in and the atmosphere is more like a waiting room. Dogs are not welcome at small animal breeders.... The upholstery of the chairs is stained.... The waiting time for the food is just OK. In a hurry or lunch break will be difficult. The food is very convincing. Tasty and good quality meat.

There were four of us there as a family. We ate spaetzle with sauce twice, Maultaschen once (see photo) and cordon bleu once. It was very tasty and the service was very friendly. The food was made entirely from fresh ingredients. The prices are reasonable. We will come back.

A phenomenal New Year's Eve menu experienced...Great team, everything really went well that evening...Always happy.

Wir waren eine Gruppe mit 8 Personen , Das Schnitzel welches ich gegessen habe war richtig gut gemacht.

Einfache, Gaststätte, Essen war sehr gut, kleine Kritik, die Wartezeit bis das Essen kam, war etwas lange, Schöner Biergarten, ideal für Fahrradfahrer 👍👍

Absolut -und heute kaum mehr zu findende Freundlichkeit der Inhaberin und auch der Sohn, sehr freundlich! Der zwiebelroschdbraden wahnsinnig lecker, die pommes auch sehr knusprig und lecker. Wer keinen großen Wert auf viel Schischi und hipp und Moderne legt, aber sehr gutes, bodenständiges Essen liebt, der wird es hier auch lieben! Zudem sind die Söhne hier wirkliche, ausgebildete Köche, was man fast nirgendwo mehr findet! Außerdem werden Kinder hier besonders nett und zuvorkommend behandelt- was wir bisher SO, wirklich noch nie erlebt haben! Ganz klar: 10 von 5 Sternen! 😉

Kürzlich war ich mit einer Wandergruppe im Goldenen Hahn zu Gast. Wir hatten uns bei der Reservierung auf ein einheiliches Essen verständigt. Die Getränke-Bestellungen durch die flinke Servicemitarbeiterin erfolgte OHNE Probleme !!! Auch das Servieren des Essens machte für unser Gruppe keine Schwierigkeiten. Es wurde allseits gelobt. Besonders hervor zu heben war die Flexibilität bei zwei Damen, die auf Fleisch verzichten wollten. Das Gasthaus ist empfehlenswert.

Wir haben ein Geburtstagsbuffet genossen. Abzüge gibt es nur für die Auswahl der vegetarischen Gerichte. Gekocht wurde gut.

Lecker Essen, frisch und sehr gut zubereitet, freundliche Bedienung, einfach gemütlich und empfehlenswert!

Waren heute kurzentschlossen und erstmalig im Goldenen Hahn und ... Volltreffer! Nettes Ambiente, sehr freundliche Bedienung und - vor allem - sehr leckeres Essen (das Gulasch mit Nudeln und panierte Schnitzel mit Pommes und Salat vorweg ... besser geht's kaum). Wir kommen wieder!

Essen war wie immer sehr gut, unser Besucv aus Bayern war hellbegeistert über das freundliche Bediehnungspersonal!!😅🤣👍🙋‍♂️🍀⚘

Wir besuchten das sehr nett eingerichtete Wirtshaus mit Freunden. Die Gerichte bestanden aus gebratenem Lachs (13,50€), gebratener Forelle (12,50€) und Bauerncordonbleu (10,90) und wurden von allen Beteiligten als gut bezeichnet. Die Getränkepreise lagen für ein Hausbier 0,3 bei 3,00€ und einem Blaufränkisch Unglaublich 0,25 bei 2,40€. Der Service war ausgezeichnet.

Die Location kann auf jeden Fall empfohlen werden. Alles stets frisch zubereitet und schmackhaft. Allerdings muss man sich entsprechend darauf einstellen, dass zwischen Ankunft in den Räumlichkeiten und Essen ca. 1 1/2 Stunden vergehen. Service sehr sympathisch!
