Waldenserbesen in Oberderdingen

The Waldenserbesen is a so-called Straußwirtschaft that is only open at certain times. The crowd is huge and reservations are recommended. The popularity speaks for itself. You immediately feel comfortable. Service is very important here. As is usual at Straußwirtschaften, there is a simple menu that is really good tastes good and can be recommended without reservation. You can also drink fine wines and the usual range of drinks with the exception of beer. The Waldenserbesen is definitely worth a visit.

The menu offers a fairly extensive selection for a broom restaurant. Unfortunately, the coarse farmer's bratwurst on offer is presented as boiled sausage and not fried, which is of course something completely different. The prices are reasonable, the sanitary facilities are very clean.

One of our favorite broom restaurants. Food very tasty and typical broom. Service is always friendly and quick. So far we have always been able to get a seat, although here, as unfortunately in many other broom restaurants, the unusual thing that you can reserve tables is getting out of hand.

Potato salad was out, but it's almost as expected on a Sunday at 6 p.m. Otherwise, a classic broom with a spacious outdoor area. It's definitely always worth a visit.

Food is OK, although nothing special, just brooms. Portions are large, value for money is good. Nice sun terrace. If there is a lot going on, you have to wait a bit.

(Visit March '24) Delicious, typical food and well-matched wines. My absolute highlight is the potato salad. Prices have increased slightly, but are still reasonable. Service is sensationally quick and always super friendly. I would like to give even more points for that!

As always, it was great. Best roast ever. What was new, and was very good, was the bulled beef. It is only recommended. Very large terrace to sit outside. TOP again this time. Keep it up! Everything as usual, I would always like to go back

Wie immer sehr entspannter Nachmittag, trotz sehr gut besetzter Plätze sehr freundlicher Empfang und sehr leckeres Essen und Trinken. Genau richtig als Ziel einer schönen Herbstwanderung.

Wir hatten 3 x Rostbraten bestellt.....ich sagte medium, dann bekam ich zur Antwort "medium gibt's nicht" bei uns ist er durch. Also gut dachte ich, essen wir, da ein Bekannter der auch dabei war, davon so schwärmte. Hatten noch Beilagen Salat und Kartoffelsalat dazu, der war auch sehr lecker. Rostbraten kam, Fleisch gutes Fleischaroma aber halt ultra trocken. Es ging auch durch einen Steaker, die Fleisch Fasern wurden gut zerkleinert somit hatte man ohne zu kauen, schon einen zerkleinerten Fleischbrei im Mund. Leider hatte meine Frau und unser Freund nicht das Glück da gab es einige Sehnen die der Steaker nicht berücksichtigte.....das Messer hatte zu tun. Ich bin Koch und würde einem Rumpsteak das nie antun. Da es in der heutigen Zeit in Deutschland 3 Garstufen und in Frankreich 5 Garstufen gibt sollte es doch auch so zubereitet werden wie es der Gast wünscht. Das Fleisch ist mit der Zubereitungs Methode total misshandelt. Trockener kann man es nicht braten.....sonst war alles gut. Mich wundert es daß das keinen interessiert, der Laden war voll, wir brauchen es nicht mehr.

Essen war wirklich wie es in einer Besen Wirtschaft sein soll schmackhaft und reichlich. Eine gute Auswahl an verschiedenen Gerichten runden das Angebot ab. Der Service könnte besser sein..... Bis wir was bestellen konnten Mussten wir 20 Minuten warten... Aber der Rest war top

0,5 l Rieslingschorle € 8,40 das ist für mich schon ein starkes Stück👹 Bauernbratwurst hat nur Wasser gesehen und keine Bratpfanne, dafür war das Brot Steinhart als ob es den ganzen Tag an der Sonne war. Wem das gefällt ist gut aufgehoben

Wie immer alles gut. Einer meiner Lieblingsbesen...

Ruhig am Ortsrand gelegen. Schöne Terrasse, wenn es voll ist muss man sich etwas gedulden bis der Service kommt. Essen ist ausreichend, mein Schnitzel mit Kraut hätte etwas mehr Würze vertragen. Preise in Ordnung

Eben wie so oft, Convenience Food

Der Kartoffelsalat ist Weltklasse

Essen und Service passt, die Akustik im überdachten Wintergarten ist abartig laut. Alle quatschen laut und 0 Schallschutz. Wenn es voll ist, versteht man sein eigenes Wort kaum. Ansonsten ist alles gut.

Sehr gutes Essen, tolle Weine vom Weingut Jan Müller und super nettes Personal. Meine Empfehlung für einen Besuch, tolle Anlage und Sonnenterasse. Kurzurlaub !

Zu spät gemerkt dass mir die Bedienung 10 Euro zuviel abkassiert hat.

Sehr lecker Hausmannskost, tolle Weine, freundlicher Service. Auch mit öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln gut erreichbar.
