Classic beer garden kitchen with self-service. Hearty and delicious. In my personal beer garden ranking, prices are rather expensive. Very clean toilets that are constantly cleaned. Very nice beer garden with lots of trees, so there are shady and sunny places. No parking space, you can get there very easily by public transport.

I wanted to get a snack for my 3 year old daughter. The sign said dumplings with sauce for EUR 5.90. I ordered that. When asked about the sauce, the little one chose the tomato sauce. At the checkout, EUR 10.90 was collected with the information that a spinach dumpling was more expensive. I pointed out that it wasn't a spinach dumpling and suddenly I had to pay EUR 10.90 because of the tomato sauce. This is opaque and usury. We have been here often but today was the last time. This can scare away regular customers.

A nice original Bavarian beer garden in a beautiful setting near the Isar. The Bavarian beer garden tradition is highly regarded in this beer garden. There are delicious Bavarian specialists such as roast pork, Obatzer, Radi and much more. The cuisine is Bavarian handmade. You are welcome to eat your own snack with a fresh measure. A particularly gimmick is the freezer near the bar with ice-cold beer mugs.

No longer recommended! The food is not edible, we were there yesterday on May 1st at lunchtime in great weather, the chicken had been ready for what felt like hours, the bratwurst was ice cold. It's a shame about the beautiful beer garden! How to Beergarden? Certainly not😟

Nice beer garden on the Isar. Short stop by bike. Obatzda, currywurst and 1/2 chicken were okay, half of the ox meat patty consisted of pieces of bread! I never knew a meat patty like that. Prices have risen significantly compared to the previous year.

Food is mediocre to not good. The chef hasn't heard of salt and pepper. I had mushrooms with dumplings. = Canned mushrooms with onion in cream. The knuckle was dry and the schnitzel tasted like “old” fat. It was positive that the children could play

The location is great, the playground is also really great. The price is very high, for example a bottle of beer actually costs €5.60, which is completely exaggerated. Unfortunately, the staff was also quite unfriendly, as is so often the case in restaurants in and around Munich.

Today I stopped by Flaucher after a walk on the Isar. Unfortunately there is only self-service and a rather reduced menu. Conclusion: never again for now :-(

I don't like writing bad reviews, I also understand the current situation with inflation, increased food prices, restaurant taxes, etc. BUT - at some point it's good. Small Obazda for over 9 EUR, Swiss sausage salad (almost without cheese, btw) for 10.90 EUR (!) 1 to 2 EUR more compared to last year. With all my love, the quality isn't so good that you're willing to pay so much for it. The fact that a small pretzel was also collected at the checkout for an additional 2 EUR (I don't want to assume that this was intentional) even though it wasn't available on the tablet, very unprofessional! Unfortunately no longer recommended. Too bad!

Long-established beer garden in the southern Isar meadows, near the Hellabrunn Zoo. Very large outdoor area with both shady and sunny areas. Due to its location in the forest, there is no special view. The selection of food is absolutely comparable to the other beer gardens in the city, the quality is good, and the taste is clearly in the middle range. The prices, just like in the other beer gardens we visited, were too high for my taste. Employees are friendly. The area where the food and drinks are served seemed very clean to me. The restaurant has a small playground for the children, and there is also a large public playground right next to it. There are enough parking spaces for bicycles, but you cannot drive up here by car. The washrooms are very clean, and an employee keeps an eye on the condition of the rooms.

Eating significantly worse than average, rancid fat already at lunchtime. Due to the location you probably don't have to make any effort.

Beer garden in the most beautiful location...

A beautiful beer garden directly in the Isar floodplains. Located in the middle of the countryside, without roads. The typical beer garden food on offer is good and freshly prepared. The prices are also quite moderate for Munich standards. Unfortunately, the restaurant itself (with service) is no longer in operation. That's really a shame and it means there's a dead end in bad weather and in the winter months. In the past, the inn was very cozy and actually quite busy, especially on weekends.

Let me tell you an enchanting story of a wayward American fresh off the train in Munich. When this happened to be close to the Air B&B, a pleasant mosey through the trees, a tear of joy. The food was solid and dependable. I appreciated the vegetables. A lovely variety for a little mid park beer garden. Would do again.

Nice beer garden BUT after 9 p.m. you can't get anything and at 9:45 p.m. the lights are turned off and you're completely in the dark!!! My napkin dumplings tasted stale.

The food is sometimes delicious (currywurst), sometimes completely tasteless (spinach dumplings). There are myths surrounding the Hendl that we were not allowed to witness. At the checkout they said they would be ready in about 20 minutes and they couldn't reserve any, but they would all be gone straight away anyway. According to a very grumpy employee, you weren't allowed to wait there either. The other employee was very nice. The atmosphere is of course great, especially with children.

One of my favorite beer gardens... I like to come every now and then. Prices a bit expensive but it's worth it 😋

Beautifully established beer garden near the Isar. Since it is located directly on a popular cycling route, it is usually quite well attended. Service friendly, prices now rather high, food good, but no highlights.

I've always been a big fan of this beer garden, but I'm starting to get annoyed. 9.70 euros for an ice ball-sized Obatztn? This is no longer ok and cannot be justified by anything anymore. And when I - visibly shocked - ask politely at the checkout how much it costs, I get a rude comment from the grumpy cashier. Guys, inflation can't be the explanation for everything. And Flaucher isn't Maximilianstrasse either...

Nice place lots of green, romantic, even entertaining. The food is okay, not too expensive for Munich standards, but it is not affordable for low earners. The staff are there too, some act friendly, others are angry and hardly any smile. Is that part of the reputation? Going to the toilet also costs money 💰, I thought it was bad because you drink beer there. Two beers, flanker steak and sausage salad extra fries cost €44.

Pretty beer garden, nice atmosphere. Food tasted good. But expensive for a self-service beer garden. Crusty roast with a side dish is on the menu, ordered with fries and on the bill it says crusty roast without a side dish €12 and a portion of fries €5.70 separately. I didn't understand. 2x crusted roast, 2x 0.5 shandy, one measure, one fries, one pretzel €62. Times have apparently changed, unfortunately we will rarely be able to do that. Large playground right next door, the whole family had a lovely afternoon.

Was here on a sunny weekend and it's a great atmosphere. I loved that there are so many vegetarian/vegan options! It's self service outside at the beer garden and there was also live music.

Munich was an experience, to finish off we chose the Flaucher Beer Garden 🍻 🥨 over the Flauchersteg past the nudist beach 🏖️ to this idyllic spot in the forest. Food and drink in Bavarian quality 😋. The music played at 🍺and☀️👍🏼 Go there and take your bathing suit with you, the beach is incredibly beautiful.

For us the best beer garden in Munich. The chicken on the spit is amazing and if it comes with large fresh pretzels, you should definitely try it. The only drawback is sometimes the foresighted planning, too few staff and too long queues, but no wonder if it's soooo good!

There is a playground right in the beer garden, suitable for smaller children. Right next to the beer garden there is a new, very large playground for children of all ages. The food in the beer garden is good, typical beer garden offerings from Hendl to Obatzda. Munich prices. Also suitable for parties.

This is probably my favourite beer garden in Munich. I like it, because it has a lot of really tasty vegan dishes, which aren't boring, but which have actually been thought through. I had the mushroom goulash with bread dumpling and it was very tasty and, given the portion size, great value for money. The setting is also nice, it's not too large and there's tons of green around.

Typical beer garden in a beautiful location. Usually not too crowded, lots of locals, few tourists. I don't think the food is that great, some of it is more like a canteen. In defense you have to say that it's not much better in other beer gardens of this size. Prices are still ok. For food and a pint of beer around 25 euros.

The Flaucher Beer Garden is a beer garden for insiders. Not crowded with tourists and there is delicious food. Good Bavarian delicacies. The ox roll is my tip.

A nice beer garden, we come here every time we are in Munich to drink a beer or two.

It's about a 20 minute walk from d. Thalkirchen subway but worth every step. Wonderful peace and quiet in the shade under ancient chestnut trees, no annoying music from loudspeakers, a large selection of fresh hot and cold dishes, in addition to Bavarian specialties, also ox roast and roast chicken as well as freshly fried cakes and lard noodles. Salad variations and radish of course. And even public viewing at the European Championships!

Beautiful, traditional beer garden. We enjoyed our trip here yesterday. Unfortunately, the fries were far too greasy and also had an off flavor. Prices are Munich level, not bargains. But the great location between forest and meadow makes things up again.

Be careful when paying by card: my tip was automatically debited without consultation. Update: Now people are saying I'm lying. On Saturday I was in the beer garden around 12 p.m. and bought food and drinks for 20.60 euros. At the checkout I said to the lady “Pay with card”. When I put the card on, it suddenly said 22 euros on the device. I then asked for the receipt and saw a tip of 1.40 euros listed there. The operator should talk better to his employees.

Stopped off on the bike tour. Beer garden is quite nice, nothing special. Self-service, so no service. Ordered potato dumplings with sauce. I have never eaten anything more tasteless and loveless. A puddle of brown water and a mushy, bland, old dumpling probably from the powder packet. Zero seasoning, zero taste. Together with a bottle of beer over €10!!! Never again!

The beer garden is in a lovely location and has a huge playground opposite. Perfect for taking children with you. However, it is not a classic beer garden as there is no service but rather self-service. Not bad, but if you want the classic beer garden experience then I wouldn't come here. The prices are actually okay, but the food didn't convince us at all. It tasted bland and wasn't presented well either. The Obatzda, the large pretzel and the potato salad were quite good. The service wasn't the best either, there were nice employees, but the drinks were thrown at you carelessly. We also had something strangely gristly-like in our dumplings with mushroom sauce. When my (vegetarian!) friend mentioned this, he was almost treated as stupid because they thought it could only be bread or mushrooms. Then my dad tried it and it was definitely something gristly. At least he got the money back. All in all, bad experience and no need to repeat.

Today we ate in the Flaucher beer garden for the first time. There was an ox shred roll and the ox meat patty, both of which were unfortunately cold, so unfortunately a bit disappointing. We paid just under €30 for two Russ and the meal. Live music and ambience was great!

So was soll ich bewerten wenn man am samstag nachmittag um 15 uhr beim flau flaucher aufläuft und die bude ist geschlossen...so was finde ich einfach nur abgrundtief schlecht zumal im inet der biergarten als geöffnet erscheint. Never ever wieder da hin!

The beer garden is idyllically located in the Isar meadows. Unfortunately the price/performance ratio isn't right at all. The Swiss sausage salad was drowned in dressing and didn't taste convincing. The price of €10.20 is by no means reasonable as the portion was also quite small. The sausage at Bavarian. Sausage salad didn't seem really fresh. We skipped the portion of Obazdn because of the price of €9.80. A repeat visit is unlikely.

The crusty roast was burnt black at the bottom. The meat is dry and can no longer be cut. The potato salad is cheap from the wholesale market. The pork belly, well. Actually 80% fat. The best part was the dumpling and the beer. For €41.00. Last time the sausage salad was left over. That was the last time here. There are better beer gardens there. E.g. Chinese Tower. Always good quality.

You get the standard beer garden menu as self-service in the gastro area and can then choose between a spot in the shade or in the sun thanks to the large chestnuts. The staff at the bar make a lot of fun when you order non-alcoholic beer. I would like to be treated with respect, you never know what the reason behind it is.

Underground! Apart from salad and Obatzda, there was no vegetarian offering and these two "dishes" also tasted well below average. The staff at the drinks counter were super unfriendly. No changing table in the men's toilet. In what year did this beer garden get stuck... And the worst thing, there is non-stop smoking - even right at the fence of the playground (0 meters distance between tables and the playground fence!!)! Terrible experience, never again.

A nice beer garden near the Isar

I had my first meal in Munich here. This place in the forest was spacious, bright. I received quick and friendly service from the staff and had a pleasant stay. The food was very tasty. Beer, sausage, pretzel, pork belly and meatloaf were something special. Of course the other menus are also delicious. The toilet is also clean. I will come here again next time. Highly recommended.

Beautiful beer garden in the Isarauen /am Flaucher. The beer garden can only be reached by bike or on foot. Therefore quiet and relaxed atmosphere. The “Flaucher” bathing area is in the immediate vicinity. Directly on the Isar... a beautiful place in the south of Munich.

We are 7 families from Munich and love our beer gardens. Unfortunately, the Flaucher Biergarten gets last place for the third time in a row for its unfriendliness (impudence would be better). This time we had friends from abroad and they were shocked to see how the staff treated “customers” (more like critters). Fortunately, there are many really friendly and nice beer gardens. There is one exception: a young man with a beard - he joked that they were queuing with him because he was the only friendly one... We thank you!
