Zum Drögen Hasen in Oldenburg (Oldb)

Achtung! Die Öffnungszeiten auf der website und am Haus scheinen nicht zu stimmen. Ich war mit meiner Frau am heutigen Sonntag (31.05.26) gegen 20:58 h vor Ort, um dort zu speisen. Mein schaute uns mit großen Augen an und entgegnete auf Nachfrage, dass man geschlossen habe. Daher kann ich leider nur das Ambiente (Eindruck auf den ersten Blick) bewerten.

Heute Abend waren wir mit unserer Gruppe im Zum Drögen Hasen essen. Das Essen war köstlich, der Service fantastisch, und wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt. Es gab sogar ein besonderes Gericht, das ich auch probieren durfte. Wir können dieses Restaurant wärmstens empfehlen! Auf wieder Schnitzel! :)

Haben das Lokal bei der letzten Kohlfahrt besucht Der Kohl war nicht so toll. Das Fleisch einfach nur fettig, ebenso die Kochwurst. Service war top. Der DJ ein flop... aber das ist auch Geschmackssache Aber für 80 Euro pro Person, einfach nicht ausreichend

Man ist zur Kolhlfahrt extra aus Hannover angereist und dann wird man einfach ignoriert

Immer wieder gerne, freundliches Personal, reichhaltiges sehr gutes Essen.

Wir waren anlässlich einer Kohlfahrt hier. Das Essen war okay, obwohl es ein bisschen "unglücklich" war, dass die einzelnen Gruppen zeitversetzt ihr Essen bekommen haben... Wir waren schon früh da und haben daher auch sehr früh (18.15) unser Essen bekommen. Durch die Zeitversetzung hatten wir viel Leerlaufzeit, bevor die Party um ca. 20.15 überhaupt los ging! Wir saßen recht abseits in einem Nebenraum, was nicht so ideal war. Insgesamt war es sehr voll und die Tanzfläche teilweise sehr überfüllt -Das war zeitweise schon nicht mehr schön! Das Schlimmste war aber, dass die vermeintlichen "Servicekräfte" -von denen einige im Einsatz waren- nach dem Essen ausschließlich dazu da waren, leere Gläser abzuräumen. Oft wurde von den jungen Damen nur ein einziges leeres Glas auf dem Tablett zur Theke getragen! Wow!!! Bei Getränkebestellungen am Tisch wurde man recht harsch darauf hingewiesen, dass es hier Turnus sei, dass die Gäste ihre Getränke nach dem Dessert selber an der Theke bestellen.... Ein entsprechender Hinweis fehlte aber bis dahin! Später am Abend ist das ja okay, aber unmittelbar nach dem Essen, gegen 20.30, fand ich das schon etwas fragwürdig. An der "Haupt-Theke" stand hauptsächlich "nur" der Chef persönlich, der einen sehr "genervten" oder zumindest sehr "gestressten" Eindruck machte... =Nicht schön!!! Vom Service an der kleinen Theke im Saal möchte ich gar nicht erst berichten, denn der war katastrophal! =Null Sterne!!! Den Vogel abgeschossen hat dann aber noch eine Servicekraft, die um Punkt 0.00 Uhr von unserem Tisch die Ouzo Flasche abräumen wollte, die nur noch zu ca. 1/8 gefüllt war. Als wir sie gebeten haben die Flasche noch da zu lassen, da wir den Rest noch ausschenken wollten, sagte sie, dass es Anweisung sei, die Flaschen um 0.00 abzuräumen (die Pauschale ging bis 0.30) und sie schließlich auch mal Feierabend machen wolle! Sie sagte, wir könnten gerne noch einen Ouzo an der Theke bestellen... Echt jetzt??? Hat der Drögen Hasen bzw haben die Inhaber so eine Diskussion bzw. so eine "Pfennigfuchserei" wirklich nötig?! Ich glaube nicht! Einziger Lichtblick war die herzliche ältere Bedienung, die schon seit zig Jahren im Drögen Hasen tätig ist! Diese Dame möchte ich positiv hervorheben! Mein Fazit: Für 72.90 Euro erwarte ich einfach einen anderen bzw. besseren Service. Ich werde keine Kohlparty im Drögen Hasen mehr buchen und kann diese daher auch nicht weiterempfehlen!!!! =Schade!!!

Die Kohlfahrten sind einzigartig in Oldenburg mit erstklassigem Essen, Service und Qualität. Kenne keine bessere Lokalität für Kohlfahrten.

Top Lokal für eine Kohlfahrt. Essen und Service war sehr gut. Ein Stern Abzug für den DJ (René?), das war das Programm von vor 20 Jahren.

Wir waren kürzlich 2 x dort Essen !! Einmal mit 4 Personen zum Gänseesse, welches leider nicht nur teuer ( über 40 €) !! sondern auch zu trocken war !! Zusätzlich erbetene Soße wurde mit 3 € berechnet !! 2. Essen mit 7 Personen, leider auch hier das Fleisch zu trocken, kein Chance für Kinder !! 1 Teller Nudeln für 11. € Ihr müsst aufpassen, dass euch nicht die Qualität und die Preise sowie die Gäste davonlaufen ‚n

Im Juli haben wir dort unsere Hochzeitsfeier stattfinden lassen. Die Location und das ganze Drumherum ist wirklich spitze. Es war eine wunderschöne Feier. Wir würden da jederzeit gerne wieder feiern.

Ein echtes Highlight in Oldenburg! Das Essen war geschmacklich hervorragend – das Wild unglaublich lecker und perfekt zubereitet. Besonders überrascht hat uns die vegetarische Paprika: klingt unscheinbar, war aber kreativ, raffiniert und richtig gut! Der Service ist aufmerksam, herzlich und angenehm authentisch – man fühlt sich einfach wohl. Preis-Leistung stimmt absolut. Wir kommen gerne wieder – aber besser rechtzeitig reservieren, es lohnt sich!

A nice restaurant with good, home-style cooking. The service was friendly. However, for a Sunday evening at 7 p.m., the place was fairly empty, and the ambiance seemed rather dull. We were seated in a side room with very uncomfortably lit lighting.

Good food with generous portions, and the prices are now only slightly higher – the service and quality more than justify it. The outdoor seating is particularly excellent. Very friendly staff, and the new owners are clearly adding new touches that are noticeably improving the restaurant. We'll be happy to return.

We tried eating there again after a year and were unfortunately very disappointed again. The fried potatoes had been pan-fried once, were very greasy, not crispy at all, and lacked flavor. The schnitzel was completely dry. The pepper sauce had a fatty edge, and the bacon around the pork fillet looked cooked, without a trace of roasted flavor. The icing on the cake was the bill: On top of what I consider to be already excessive prices, they actually charged €1 each for ketchup and mayo! Result of the second attempt: Never again!

We celebrated our daughter's baptism today at "Zum Drögen Hasen" and couldn't have wished for a more beautiful venue! Despite the last-minute reservation, everything went perfectly – we received a warm welcome and were well looked after throughout the entire lunch. The food was fantastic, lovingly prepared, and simply delicious. The ambiance was also perfect – relaxed, stylish, and family-friendly at the same time. A big thank you to the entire team – we felt very comfortable and will cherish the day forever!

After a long bike ride, we stopped at the Zum Drögen Hasen restaurant – and were pleasantly surprised all around. The ambiance is tastefully and lovingly designed, with a harmonious mix of rural coziness and understated style. Especially after an active day, the atmosphere had a pleasantly relaxing effect. The service was attentive, friendly, and unobtrusive – exactly what you'd want. For dinner, I chose pasta with leaf spinach and chanterelles, served in a delicately balanced tomato and cream sauce. The combination was wonderfully balanced – aromatic without being heavy, with fresh, well-cooked chanterelles as the flavor highlight. A small, crisp salad before the meal rounded off the menu perfectly. All in all: a harmonious, thoroughly successful visit. I enjoyed the food very much, and the service left nothing to be desired – I will definitely be back soon.

For the sake of my dear wife, I visited the restaurant on Wednesday, June 25, 2025, around 5 p.m. She requested some asparagus cream soup to mark the end of asparagus season, so I brought it home for her – it was initially missing salt. After adding salt, the "cream soup" was still watery/floury and tasted nothing of asparagus, not even a trace of "cream." I got the impression that something resembling asparagus cream soup had been hastily concocted in the kitchen – even though I had previously called to confirm whether asparagus cream soup was still available today, which the chef confirmed. While I was waiting, I ordered a Balkan schnitzel, as it was advertised on the menu with "fresh bell peppers." The small side salad was the best part of the entire meal – fresh and crisp, and also nicely presented. I was a bit taken aback when the schnitzel arrived just three minutes later. It consisted of two medium-sized molded pieces, the kind you'd just about accept in a cafeteria. Inside, the meat was soft but very white and, above all, dry, suggesting it was made from compressed fibers rather than a whole schnitzel from the topside. The breading was even and mushy – if it was homemade, the chef should change careers immediately. The advertised fresh paprika looked and tasted exactly like a vinegary gypsy sauce, the kind you get in jars or buckets. Because of the dryness of the meat, I downed my ordered beer quite quickly – a strategic error, because it was impossible for me to ask a waitress on the terrace for another drink during the entire meal. The only woman who appeared was busy with tables where several people were seated. She walked past me a few times, neither listening to my calls nor even looking at my table. When I finally asked her about the fact that I hadn't been able to place a drink order during my entire meal, she replied, "I'm sorry, but we have a party inside. You could have asked one of my colleagues." - How could you, if no one is there? I wonder what will happen when the entire beer garden is full of guests, when not even a single person gets the chance to reorder. In our opinion, both dishes are by no means worth the money. A final word about the ambiance: A lot of effort has been put into the double roof and the visual design of the place settings. However, the napkins provided in the cutlery cases are by no means sufficient; they are too small and too thin to accommodate multiple guest mishaps. The seating at the terrace tables, with their very slanted backrests, also doesn't allow for a normal sitting position while eating and is probably more suitable for a relaxed drink break. Conclusion: Very poor food, no service at all, whether you come alone or as a couple – even the two neighboring tables with couples weren't served in between. Anyone who can tolerate this as a single person or couple and would rather enjoy the pleasant ambiance should continue visiting this restaurant. The quality of the food (salad is the exception): very poor.

Last Sunday (June 22, 2025), I thought to myself: Why don't you do something for your health? Get on your bike and get out into nature! No sooner said than done. My route took me along the tranquil Drögen-Hasen-Weg in 26129 Oldenburg. But instead of birdsong and fresh air, I was greeted by a free dust inhalation of the finest kind – presented by the restaurant "Zum Drögen Hasen." A particularly motivated employee was swinging a leaf blower there, presumably trying to catapult every single dust particle on this planet onto my retina. The dust cloud was so thick, I briefly wondered whether I was riding through the Saharan storm or through Oldenburg. My eyes watered, my breathing was disrupted, I aborted my ride – and returned home with the feeling of a failed expedition. Many thanks to the hotel team for this memorable experience. I never would have thought that a bike ride would become a live demonstration of particulate matter pollution. A truly boring story. Fitting.

We had a company party, and even though we weren't the only large group, we were well looked after from start to finish. The staff came regularly to take orders, and we didn't have to wait long. The buffet food was excellent, the salads fresh... The outdoor area is well-kept and cozy. All in all, a very nice venue.

We ordered an asparagus menu with the family, and our expectations were exceeded. The food was fantastic, and everyone loved the salmon, schnitzel, and ham, as well as the vegan alternative. The service was fast and super friendly! We look forward to our next visit!

Went there for the first time with my partner. Unfortunately very disappointed. Asparagus with chicken breast: The food was completely lukewarm to cold. 6 asparagus spears, 1 chicken breast and 3 of 6 potatoes returned. After 10 minutes, 5 asparagus spears and 1 chicken breast are returned, but no new potatoes are received. The asparagus tasted very bland and the chicken breast was tough. The hollondaise was a bit too thick and had probably been in the kitchen for a long time...it already had "skin" My partner's pike perch fillet and rice weren't hot either. The salad beforehand was very tasty and at a pleasant temperature. The dressing was a bit vinegary. The attention there leaves a lot to be desired. The prices are in the high range. The atmosphere reminds me of the 80s. We probably won't visit this restaurant again.

I'm just disappointed. We were here for the weekend with a larger group for a cabbage trip. The service was a bit of an effort but it felt like more glasses were broken than reached our table. Nobody really knew how many alternative dishes were ordered and it seemed like a wild mess. The dessert was also rather “spiced up”. The staff is not well coordinated - the drinks are the simplest of simple. The atmosphere was good, people wanted to party - but the DJ wasn't able to combine the songs well. Given the prices, I just expect a little more!

You can also bend. No menu will be issued for paid meals if the people have not come. You still have to pay. Drinks were collected and people were swept out.

It was a bit crowded in the run-up to Christmas. The staff gave everything. I would like to come back again.

Conclusion after eating there twice: The food is good to ok but overall I don't have to come back a third time. What's good: the large portions of the main course and the quality of the dishes are convincing. Less good: the side salad is a joke, simply mini and loveless and comes so quickly that it was probably already prepared. The service could be more hospitable and the radio in the restaurant is bizarre with music that doesn't fit the restaurant at all. The room temperature was also quite cool at the beginning and so was the ambience.

We were there for dinner yesterday, my wife had the chicken breast and I had the Jägerschnitzel with fresh mushrooms. Both had the same sauce, mine with a few mushrooms in it, no trace of fresh mushrooms. For us it wasn't a burner.

Als Gruppe mit 19 Personen haben wir hier zu Abend gegessen. Das Servicepersonal war super unfreundlich, gestresst und flapsig. Wir fühlten uns unerwünscht. Das Essen war höchstens mittelmäßig, die Preise hoch, mussten lange warten, bis der Tisch abgedeckt wurde oder wir Getränke nachbestellen konnten. Kein einziges Lächeln oder freundliches Wort von den Angestellten. Zwei von unseren 19 Personen bestellten eine Aalsuppe bzw. Pommes, alle anderen richtige Gerichte. Kommentar der Bedienung: "Das rettet uns auch nicht." Unfassbar. Dann langes Anstehen drinnen an der Kasse zum Bezahlen, auch dort Unfreundlichkeit pur. Ich frage mich echt, was da los ist. Ich habe etwas Vergleichbares noch niemals erlebt. Für mich nie wieder Drögen Hasen.

It's okay there. You can have a good party there over the holidays. Eating out is more of a matter of opinion when it comes to price-performance ratio. I don't have to go there again.

Hello everyone, so far we have felt comfortable with you. My wife wanted to take part in one of her employer's asparagus tours with you on June 1st and paid EUR 75.00 for this. Two weeks before the appointment she canceled for personal reasons. Of the EUR 75.00 paid, she only gave back a food voucher worth EUR 25.00. If she had canceled three days in advance, we would have understood the withholding of EUR 50.00, but what? A real shame...

Due to illness it was not possible to take part in a cabbage tour. Unfortunately no goodwill was shown and the full price (!) was withheld. You could have canceled up to a week before the event so that you would receive a 20 euro voucher. Unfortunately, illness is unpredictable! Lack of service in this regard!

The food and ambience may be great, but the service I recently experienced there is the last straw. We had to wait a good 5 weeks or even more for an offer for a graduation party for an average of 300 to 350 people in a 10th year class, even though it was said that it would only take 10 to 11 days. Then the offer came and we started discussing it and suddenly it was canceled again because it was supposedly double booked. A bottomless lie, because the days that were available to choose from were both completely free/without entries. Apparently they were wrong about the month, but that can't be the case either, because in the previous month this data wasn't available on the days of the week in question. The three of us were there for the offer discussion and we all talked together about the days with Mr. Tapu there. And we agreed and were sure. And then you are so boldly lied to and dumped. We weren't even offered the other day as an alternative. There were only days to choose from when the students wouldn't even have finished school yet. I could have lived with anything, but being dumped so cheekily and lied to is the very last thing. What does that say about the house? Definitely nothing good. I NEVER want to deal with such BAD SERVICE AGAIN. This is not how you treat potential customers. Thanks for nothing.😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡

War zum Grünkohl Essen da. Topp Service, außerordentlich guter DJ, sehr gutes Essen.

Wir waren dort im Rahmen einer Kohlfahrt und ich bin sehr begeistert. Das Essen war sehr gut, mit reichlich Auswahl an verschiedenen Fleischbeilagen. Leere Schüsseln wurden nachgefüllt. Die Servicekräfte waren sehr freundlich. Der große Raum bot genügend Platz zum Tanzen. Die Stimmung war fröhlich und ausgelassen.

Wieder ein toller Aufenthalt im Zum Drögen Hasen, gut organisiert, nette freundliche Bedienung, ansprechende Atmosphäre mit leckerem Essen.

Ohne viele Worte eines der besten Restaurants Oldenburgs. Eine schöne Location, super nette Bedienung und eine vielfältische Auswahl an vollzüglichen Geschmäckern.

Wir waren am ersten Weihnachtstag dort. Es gab eine sehr schöne Menüauswahl. Als Hauptgericht habe ich eine halbe Ente mit Klößen und Rosenkohl bestellt. Die Ente war sehr gut gewürzt, saftig und zart. Sie hätte für meinen Geschmack etwas krosser sein können, aber das wäre in anbetracht der Menge an Gästen meckern auf hohem Niveau. Der Service war sehr freundlich. Es wirkte nicht aufgesetzt. Ein ganz kleines minus gibt es für die Lautstärke im Saal. Eine durchgehende Brabbelkulisse. Aber das liegt ja nicht am drögen Hasen. Alles in allem war es ein sehr schöner Mittag an Weihnachten. Bei nächster Gelegenheit kommen wir gerne wieder. 😊

Das POSITIVE zuerst: Der 85. Geburtstag meiner Mutter mit 19 Personen wurde AUSSCHLIEßLICH durch den perfekten Service von Super-Elke und ihrem tollen Kollegen hinter der Theke gerettet, wofür wir den beiden von Herzen danken!!! Zwei Wochen vorher hatten wir eine Besprechung mit Herrn Tapu bezüglich der Tischordnung und des Menüs. Es wurden uns 4 Einzeltische plus ein Stehtisch für den Sektempfang versprochen. Bei unserem Eintreffen fanden wir 2 große Tische - eingedeckt für 16 Personen - vor und null Stehtisch. Dank dem Top-Service-Team kriegten wir ruckzuck noch 3 eingedeckte Plätze und einen Stehtisch. Frage: wozu gibt es Vorbesprechungen mit einem Chef, der sich nicht an Abmachungen hält und auch noch falsche Angaben für das Personal ins Bestellbuch schreibt? Herr Tapu war anwesend, hielt es aber nicht für nötig, meine Mutter, die er persönlich beraten hatte, zu begrüßen und sich eventuell für die Pannen zu entschuldigen. Auf sein leeres Versprechen, ihr zu Ehren am Tresen einen Geburtstagstrunk nur mit ihr einzunehmen, konnte sie gerne verzichten. Diese Ignoranz der Geschäftsführung stellt leider ein Armutszeugnis für ein Oldenburger Traditionslokal dar ! Zum Essen: wegen der Gäste im Seniorenteller-Alter hatten wir das Menü reduziert: von 3 Gängen mit Vorsuppe, 3 Sorten Fleisch (Rinderrouladen, Wildschwein, Hühnchenbrustfilet), Beilagen und Dessert auf 2 Gänge ohne Vorsuppe mit 2 Fleischsorten (Rinderrouladen, Schweinelendchen), Beilagen plus Dessert. Interessanterweise hat sich der Preis keinen Cent reduziert! Das Essen war in Ordnung, jedoch ist der Preis von €47,- für ein Hauptgericht plus Dessert unangemessen hoch. Die Getränke wurden natürlich extra abgerechnet! À la Carte essen wäre tatsächlich günstiger gewesen. Fazit: Für die nächste Feier werden wir ein Restaurant mit einer kompetenten Leitung und einem dem hohen Preis angemessenen Menü wählen!

Wir waren an einem Sonntag zum Weihnachtsfamilienessen (12 Personen) in den Drögen Hasen eingeladen. Es gab an diesem Tag nur Speisen von der Extra-Weihnachtskarte. Wildschwein, Gans, Lachs... und für Vegetarier Kürbis mit Tomatensauce. Vorweg gab es Hühnersuppe. Auf Nachfrage für Vegetarier Kürbissuppe. Die Speisen wurden überwiegend mit Knödeln serviert, der Rotkohl wurden in Schüsseln auf den Tisch gestellt. Beschweren möchte ich mich hier für die vegetaische Alternative, den Kürbis mit Tomatensauce. Ich frage mich wie ein Koch darauf kommen konnte, das jemand so etwas essen möchte. Gesetzt dem Motto: "Hauptsache es steht irgendwas veg. auf der Karte. Ist doch egal, ob es schmeckt". Alleine die Vorstellung dieses Gericht essen zu müssen, während alle anderen Weihnachtsessen bekamen verursachte Wut. Die zweite vegetaisch essende Person bestellte aus Verzweiflung den Fisch, der aber gut durchgebraten werden sollte, was leider nicht umgesetzt wurde und somit auch nicht angerührt wurde. Ich selbst kreierte mir aus der Karte selbst etwas. Bestellte Kürbis mit Kloß und Rotkohl um zumindest ein bißchen am Weihnachtsfeeling teilnehmen zu können. Leider war das geschmacklich trotzdem nicht der Fall. Die anderen Gerichte waren okay, mehr aber nicht. Hier ist man aber aufgrund der Menge zumindest satt geworden. Meine Bitte an den Koch: es gibt mittlerweile so viele, leckere vegetaische Gerichte...Kauf dir ein Kochbuch und lerne zu kochen.

Hin mit einem haikostüm reingegangen und alle waren super drauf + extrem gutes essen

Meine Bestellung Variation Anti Pasti hätte auch direkt aus dem Supermarkt kommen können und die empfohlene Currywurst war eine Bockwurst aus der Dose. Das hat mit A la Carte Küche nichts gemeinsam. Die Empfehlung des Rotweins war das Einzige, was gut war. Das Essen / Trinken war auch jeden Fall keine 88€ wert! Die Enttäuschung ist sehr groß!

Ich kann die vielen negativen Rezession hier absolut nicht nachvollziehen! Sehr gemütliches Restaurant, sehr sehr leckeres Essen und sehr freundliches, aufmerksames Personal! Sehr gerne wieder!
