Wir waren während unseres Urlaubs zum Abendessen hier und waren begeistert. So begeistert, dass wir am nächsten Abend auch wieder hier eingekehrt sind. Sehr gemütlich, sehr freundliche Wirtsleute, fantastisches Essen zu sehr fairen Preisen. Wir kommen gern wieder. Grüße aus Dresden!

Das war jahrelang unser Geheimtipp. Doch leider stehen wir erneut vor verschlossener Tür (Privatveranstaltung), obwohl Google als geöffnet anzeigt: die Wirtsleute halten Internet nicht mehr auf dem laufenden.

Wir haben nur dort gegessen. Absolut nicht empfehlenswert, weder das Essen noch Bedienung oder das Ambiente. Staubige Gaststätte, vergilbte Gardinen, schmutzige Fenster, die Tischdecke unseres Tisches hatte mehr als nur einen Fleck, Würzfleisch laut Kellner und Köchin nicht selber gemacht, sondern als TK bestellt, deswegen auch der schlechte Geschmack. Rumpsteakfleisch hatte keine gute Qualität, seltsamer Geschmack und extrem durchwachsen. Entenkeule und Kaninchenkeule könnten mehr Würze vertragen. Mikrowelle im Dauereinsatz. Wirtsleute wurden nach Kritik auch etwas unfreundlich und wollten sich dies nicht annehmen. Bei diesen günstigen Preisen kann man nicht viel erwarten.

Hier ist es urig erzgebirgisch und herzlich. Man muss die Art zu nehmen wissen.😉 Zwar ist das Haus etwas in die Jahre gekommen aber mit seinem ganz eigenen Charme mögen wir es genauso. Wir kommen immer wieder gern hier her,denn unser altes Wirtsleutepaar gibt sich soviel Mühe. Die Preise sind mehr als erschwinglich und wir fahren immer sehr zufrieden wieder heim.

Die Inhaber sind sehr freundlich, das Essen schmeckt sehr gut und mit Vorbestellung braucht man nicht lange warten. Die Atmosphäre ist gemütlich und der Umgang sehr liebevoll.

Das Kinderessen war ok. Mit ok meine ich essbar und es hat dem Kind geschmeckt. Kellner war nett. Aber er brachte Orangenlimo statt Zitrone. Und die Preise sind ok. Bis dahin höchstens 1 Stern. Für alles andere eher null Sterne. Sauberkeit lässt sehr zu wünschen übrig. Toiletten lieber nicht benutzen. Unser Essen war echt schlecht. Schnitzel war es nicht eher ein paniertes Steak, was nicht geschmeckt hat. Kartoffelsalat essbar aber nicht die Welt. Es riecht nach ranzigem Fett und die Mikrowelle ist oft zu hören. Leider absolut nicht empfehlenswert.

Everything was perfect. The price/performance ratio was excellent. You do have to wait a bit for your food, but you can hear the schnitzel being pounded out.

An urgent matter for Rosin's restaurants! The good reviews are a mystery to all of us. The constant ding from the kitchen was about ready-made food being reheated. Sauces (no matter what kind) tasted of nothing or were overly sour. You had to add more salt to everything. A fly graveyard everywhere, everything covered in cobwebs and dust. Service was totally grumpy and extremely slow. The low prices definitely have their drawbacks. This has nothing to do with fresh food. Now I know why you've never heard of Chausseehaus... because nobody goes there.

Very tasty and absolutely worth the price

We went there for lunch. We were surprised by the very reasonable prices. Unfortunately, I didn't like the food. Both the soup starter and the main course came from the microwave (the repeated dings and opening/closing of the microwave door could be clearly heard in the dining room).

A quaint, family-run restaurant. The dining room has a special ambiance. The service is also very commendable. The food is delicious and pleasantly priced. I will recommend it and will definitely come back. Thumbs up

Here the boss still cooks herself. Very inexpensive restaurant with a home-style, Saxon menu. Price/performance perfect. I can't judge the guesthouse because I was only there to eat.

A nice, typical inn in the Schneeberg region. Delicious, typical regional food. And reasonably priced, too. Reservations on weekends are recommended, for the reasons mentioned above.

Rooms very good, food and service great

Historic, quaint, cozy, like grandma's. It was wonderful to have stayed here. Come see for yourself. But it's best to make a reservation.

Went spontaneously for dinner on May 18th. We had spaghetti with a very artificial tomato sauce with no taste at all, and rump steak with herb butter. About the meat: ordered medium and got it burnt, meat was bitter at the first bite and smelled like rotten egg. Fried potatoes and croquettes, on the other hand, were delicious and tasty. The peas as a vegetable were prepared in the microwave and could have used some salt and butter. Ambiance was quite dark and rustic. Staff wasn't always nice and mostly sat in front of the TV in the guest room. Our conclusion: we will not visit this inn again! Not recommended!!!!

We happened to be passing by and spontaneously stopped. Unfortunately, almost all of the 7 dishes were warmed frozen goods. Larger pieces of the spaetzle pan were still cold inside. Schnitzel, egg tarts, curds clearly from the ready-made shelf, even goulash suspicious (from a jar?), dumplings like rubber. Only the “stramme Max” (Erzgebirge dish with bread/egg) stood out positively; it was obviously homemade and, for a change, actually really tasty. Prices incredibly cheap, waitress very nice and hard-working, owner rather grumpy and unfriendly. Waiting for drinks took forever (it was busy), but food came quickly. Ambience very rustic - in a positive sense, cozy, Bergaberbeiterdeko, great location with a beautiful view on the terrace, toilets simple but clean - even with a toddler attachment, thumbs up. My recommendation to the owners: focus more on quality instead of breadth. The map is too big and too cheap. It's better to have a small but fine menu with a few homemade dishes and fresh ingredients. You can eat TK at home, but you don't go to a restaurant for that. Unfortunately, we absolutely cannot recommend it.

We always enjoy going there. The food is very good and the service is friendly. The rooms are simple but good. We are happy to recommend the Chausseehaus.

The food is good, home-style and the prices are more than moderate. The atmosphere is rustic, Erzgebirge… You can stop by the Chauseehaus in good spirits. 🙋🏼‍♂️

Excellent family run restaurant with very reasonable prices

As a family with 3 children, we were shown the door in a more than unfriendly manner at 7:30 p.m. with the words "oh no, the kitchen is closed." Guests are not welcome.

A somewhat elderly gentleman let us into the restaurant with 3 children 20 minutes before closing time. After about 15 minutes everyone had their delicious home-made meal. The children got a little gummy bear and 10 minutes after closing we went home happy and satisfied.

Eine kleine feine Familienpension. Das Preis- Leistungsverhältnis ist sehr,sehr gut. Die Zimmer sind schlicht, einfach sauber. Das Essen ist einfach nur lecker. Wir haben uns hier sehr wohl gefühlt.

Mit Mikrowelle erwärmtes essen und echt erzgebirgisch ist das auch nicht. Fleisch hatte schon sehr dunkle trockene stellen und der beilagensalat war auch nicht frisch. Über Preise kann man nicht meckern aber auch das war nicht überzeugend. Einmal und nie wieder.

Urige erzgebirgiche Gaststätte. Freundliche Bedienung und sehr gutes Essen. Hervorragend: Sosse wird extra gereicht. Reicht also wirklich für 2 Klösse.

Eine in die Jahre gekommen Gaststätte einfach und gemütlich. Die Speisen sehr gut und einfach lecker. Es wird alles frisch zubereitet wie bei Muttern. Frisch zubereitet Essen dauert eine Weile somit muss man ein wenig Zeit mitbringen. Was sich aber lohnt. Hausmannskost einfach gut und ein großes Lob an die Köchin. 😋👍

Besonders die fairen Preise und ein reichliches Angebot sind hervorragend. Eine Gaststätte im rustikalen Erzgebirgsstil und einer freundlichen Bedienung kann man weiterempfehlen.

Wir waren am 03.12.2022 vor einem Besuch des Lichtelfestes hier miteinander speisen. Uns überraschte die umfangreiche Speisekarte und die fairen Preise. Alles war auch sehr sehr schmackhaft und die Gastgeber erzählten auch bereitwillig über Land und Leute. Einen Besuch in dieser Lokalität können wir jedem empfehlen! P.S: Ich hatte ein leckeres Würzfleisch ... mit "echter Geflügeleinlage" und ein leckeres Rostbrätl mit einem leckeren dicken Stück Steak. Es war sehr lecker. Auch der Kaninchenbraten und das Lammfleisch waren lecker! Danke für dieses leckere Essen.

Sehr gute und reichhaltige Speisen, zu echt sehr fairen Preisen. Ein gemütliches Ambiente rundet die ganze Sache noch ab.
