The food is very tasty 😋 the team is fast and friendly. In addition, the meat is full of flavor. I like that the waiter often takes care of every table so you don't have to wait to order drinks. My tip is to make a reservation by phone because the cuisine is so good, it is often difficult to get a seat spontaneously. But not hopeless. It's definitely worth a visit to be pampered by the service and taste. A well-sheltered terrace is also available at the tables where you can end the evening. My personal opinion is that it is cozy and delicious.

All I can say is that it's better to go somewhere else.

Pleasant atmosphere, delicious food, good selection, very friendly service. However, you should also bring some time with you, as the order can take a little longer.

We have been guests at the Brathaus several times and are very satisfied. The atmosphere is very cozy and homely, the service is always friendly, attentive and quick, there is time here and there for a little chat - here you take time for the guest, which makes them feel very comfortable and welcome. The selection of food and drinks is very extensive, there is something for every taste. Last but not least, the dishes themselves are incredibly fresh and of high quality, and the portions are very generous. We always enjoy coming to the great Brathaus!

A restaurant should have at least 2 to 3 hot dishes that are vegetarian. The large salad was a joke for the money - unimaginative and overpriced. The service was impeccable, the atmosphere was old-fashioned, but that's a matter of taste.

I can't say anything negative. We have been here several times and always go home happy. Super delicious food, warm and helpful innkeepers and a great ambience. Price/performance top! Gladly again at any time!!:)

Worst restaurant of my life! Bad service, long waiting times, we waited ages for the drinks as well as the food, not to mention the taste of the food. Hard fries, hard meat, unseasoned sauces and I could list more. Even though we were registered with a larger party, nothing was well organized at all. The first ones had finished eating and the last ones were just getting their food. And finally, an ambulance with an emergency doctor had to be called because the food was contaminated and my daughter almost suffocated. Luckily for everyone, it ended well, but there was no apology or anything from the restaurant. The restaurant denied guilt until the end. AS I SAID, WORST RESTAURANT OF MY LIFE!!!!! I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND TO ANYONE!!!!

I have rarely eaten so badly. Even though we were registered as a group of 40 people, nothing worked. Waiters/waitresses were completely overwhelmed. The kitchen took forever. The first ones had finished eating before the last ones got their food. So there can be no question of good organization! It was a good thing that the water was already on the tables, so at least we had something to drink. If you had only relied on the waiters you would probably have died of thirst. The food itself was warm, but that's all there is to say about it. The fries were hard, the meat was dry, the tomato sauce wasn't seasoned, the apple strudel was rock hard. And to top it all off, the emergency doctor had to be called because the food was contaminated and a child almost suffocated. There was no apology whatsoever for the incident, but on the contrary, all blame was denied and THAT WILL NOT WORK AT ALL!

I wouldn't give one star, unfortunately this is not possible! We had dinner with the family. The fact that food sometimes takes a while to reach the table has already been explained several times. The food was just warm and not even remotely hot. The highlight was the dessert. Our daughter (2 years old) started choking and gasping for air because there was a piece of plastic in her scoop of ice cream. It was kindly alerted by the RTW service. But “can’t be” was repeated several times. Something like that can happen, the only question is how to deal with it. Since other family members found plastic particles in the ice, this was unfortunately not an isolated case. There was never an apology. The plastic parts were then all collected and disposed of. What happened afterwards is beyond my knowledge. For our part, we can only say. NEVER AGAIN!

Cozy atmosphere, courteous host, nice service and soooo delicious food hmmmm, I'm thrilled, I ate EVERYTHING 👌veal schnitzel/boiled potatoes and asparagus and sauce with a mixed salad 🥰

Really good German cuisine at very reasonable prices. We felt very comfortable. Extremely nice staff even with a full house. If we're in the area again, we'll be happy to come back.

As others have noted, you can go there once, but you don't have to do it twice. It all took a very long time. Both the first drink and the food. We waited around 1 hour and 45 minutes for the food and that in a loud atmosphere; pretty annoying. The waiter's joke is a matter of taste. Maybe bone-hard French fries and dry schnitzel are a matter of taste, but our taste is not. What bothers me personally is when the dishes on the menu are not properly described. You can serve tomatoes and mozzarella with arugula, and I also like mushrooms, honey or marshmallows, but why not put it on the menu? Then you can at least unsubscribe. With the sheep's cheese gratin with pepperoni and olives, I expected sheep's cheese gratin with crunchy olives and pepperoni and not wobbly, soft, warm pepperoni and dried, warm olives from the oven. Or maybe I'm too drowsy to read the menu. That’s why I don’t even want to try the “natural” fish. If, after paying, the waiter says he's sorry it took so long, I see it as pure mockery. If a restaurateur were serious about this, he would offer the guest a coffee or something similar as an apology. The price-performance ratio still seems okay, but we're not interested in going there again. Although we like to stay in Langenfeld.

I've been living in Langenfeld for a few years now and we finally managed to visit the Brathaus this evening and I'm really satisfied and thrilled in all respects. I found it particularly pleasant that there was a little chat with the staff in the evening and the quality of the food was worth more than a five star rating here. Big thanks to the hosts. Gladly again soon. I'll post a picture of the starter here, the best onion soup I've eaten so far!!!

Ich lieb's! Tolle, gut bürgerliche Küche - sehr lecker! Für Veganer vielleicht nicht die erste Wahl!

Lecker Sauerbraten gegessen. Hätte ein tick mehr sein können. Aber gut, dass essen war lecker. Service is klasse da. Das Restaurant ist mir persönlich etwas zu voll mit Utensilien. Geschmackssache. Auf jeden Fall weiter zu empfehlen.

Super Essen, super Service, sehr zu empfehlen.

Wir würde nett und freundlich empfangen, das Essen und die Getränke wurden schnell an den Tisch gebracht, die Qualität der Speisen war sehr gut. Das einzige Manko war, dass ab 21:30 das Restaurant sehr leer war und wir auch keine Getränkebestellung aufgeben konnten.

Wir waren heute zum Gans essen im Brathaus, und waren begeistert von dem leckeren Essen. Die Gans war zart und außen knusprig. Alles andere wie Rotkohl, Klöße und die Maronen waren auch sehr gut. Es war heute sehr gut besucht und trotzdem war der Service aufmerksam und auch das Team sehr freundlich. Gerne wieder 😃👍Kompliment , wir haben seit Jahren keine so gute Gans mehr gegessen.

Das Essen war gut und die Kellner stets bemüht. Allerdings musste man sehr oft alles wiederholen oder nach bestellen, da die Kellner es sich nicht, oder falsch gemerkt hatten. Sie waren aber durchweg freundlich, vielleicht schon etwas gewollt zu freundlich. Aber das muss jeder selbst einschätzen. Das Essen war gut aber nicht herausragend. Alles in allem war es Okay.

Ein sehr gutes Restaurant ,nette Leute sehr freundlich, gutes bürgerliches Essen. Kann man nur sehr sehr weiter empfehlen.

El lugar es sensacional, la atención estupenda!!! El personal muy simpático, servicial dispuestos a ayudar en todo momento además de ser eficientes. La comida divina!!! El precio aprox 20€ el plato sin bebidas! Me encantó haber venido, volveré!

Schöne Gaststätte mit angenehmen Außenbereich. Die Portionen der Speisen waren gut gemacht und ausreichend groß. Nur der Service war für uns nicht ok....sehr freundlich, aber völlig unaufmerksam.

Interessantes, gemütliches Ambiente. Viele outdoor Sitzplätze. Eine gute bürgerliche Küche.

Ist OK, allerdings irritiert mich halb gefrorene Panna Cotta dann doch etwas. Etwas weniger Pfeffer in der Pfeffersauce (sic!) hätte ihr auch sicher gut getan. Service sehr angenehm.

Schöne Atmosphäre, Speisekarte für Weihnachten sehr abwechslungsreich. Vorsuppe,Hauptgericht und Nachspeise war alles sehr lecker. Waren mit 4 Erwachsene und 2 Kinder alle waren sehr zufrieden.

Das Essen schmeckt immer sehr gut. Deutsch bürgerliche Küche wie man sie sich vorstellt. Nette Bedienungen und kurze Wartezeiten.

Diesmal waren wir mit 8 Personen in unserer "Lieblingsecke" und haben einen runden Geburtstag gefeiert. Das Essen war mal wieder sehr lecker. Ein sehr gelungener Abend. Gerne immer wieder!

Nikolaus essen, ein bisschen früher aber hier im Restaurant es abzuhalten war eine gute Wahl. Das Personal ist freundlich und aufmerksam. Die Qualität und der Geschmack des Essens hat alle voll überzeugt. Update 2022 Hab hier für unsere Abteilung die Weihnachtsfeier organisiert. Aufgrund der guten Erfahrungen hier meine Wahl. Es wurde für 13 Personen a la Chart gekocht. Habe später keine Klagen gehört eher waren alle erfreut. Die vorgeschlage Vorspeise wurde begeistert aufgenommen. Wir möchten uns an das Team zum Brathaus bedanken für ihre sehr gute essen und den super Service .
