Great, very caring, family service! Extremely customer oriented. The hotel can't do anything about the noise from the road (located directly on the B8, with an additional diversion route to Düsseldorf as the A59 is closed for renovations).

We were there for a birthday party and perhaps that's why the service was a bit more reserved... The food was visually and tastefully very good and plentiful. As far as we could tell, there wasn't anyone who wasn't full and satisfied at the end! If you like drinking Altbier, you can look forward to a fresh Füchschen!

We have been going to the restaurant for years and love it! The schnitzels are definitely recommended, even as a special deal on Tuesdays and Thursdays! All meat dishes are excellently prepared. There is a starter salad and sometimes we are lucky and the boss buys us a round of dessert 🥰 We always like to come as a couple or more and have even celebrated my father-in-law's birthday there on a small scale. In recent years they have expanded the guest room with an extension and beautifully furnished it. Suitable for large celebrations. Also worth mentioning are the unbeatably low prices for the drinks. There is a clear recommendation for the restaurant.

Was invited there for a birthday. Very good food, my rump steak was perfectly fried. Service nice and friendly. I think that in summer you can end the day nicely in the beer garden.

I visited the restaurant. I ordered a grill plate and this also met my expectations. I wasn't that impressed with the service. When paying by card I was told that only EC was possible. I then accidentally put my credit card on the reader and it was accepted immediately. The waiter then became quite rude. Normally 4 stars minus 1 star for service

We've eaten there several times and the food always tastes great. However, the waiters have been so unfriendly several times now that you really didn't feel like you were in good hands there. You don't get anything to drink and if you shout "excuse me" you get totally freaked out! Sorry but we pay for it! If you are overwhelmed you should look for staff.

First of all, I would like to praise the friendly and courteous staff. Our order was taken promptly and professionally. Within a short time we were served drinks, a soup, a small mixed salad and the schnitzel. The portions were extremely generous. The fries were crispy and the schnitzel was excellently prepared - crispy on the outside, tender on the inside. We really enjoyed it. I would particularly like to emphasize the excellent price-performance ratio. For the entire meal, including the drink, we only paid €16.50 (excluding tip). This offer is indeed worth revisiting.

Were there for dinner yesterday. TUESDAYS AND THURSDAYS are always schnitzel day. The food was very tasty. The portions are large. Only the waitress was probably not in a good mood yesterday. We asked if we could pack up the rest. Rather carelessly, we were given an empty box to pack and my son was given aluminum foil. But the food itself is really good.

In my opinion the prices for a short overnight stay are overpriced because the location is also outside

Located directly on a main street, it is therefore recommended to use it indoors. Food was great, service could be quicker. But still recommended.

We were there again today, even though it had been a long time, and we were recognized again and the food was very tasty and very good. The waiters and the other staff (possibly the boss) were always very nice, even though there was still a big birthday party in the annex. Always happy 😊😘

We were invited to the restaurant after a funeral. The offering was typical of funerals (clear soup, good selection of sandwiches, covered apple pie and cherry crumble) and very tasty. Drinks included coffee, tea and mineral water. The service was friendly. I wasn't in the hotel.

I can't rate the room because we only went to the restaurant. Tuesday and Thursday are schnitzel days (11.50 euros) for selected schnitzels. There is something for everyone. The schnitzels are fresh, you can hear the knocking from the kitchen ❤️, there are fries and salad and you're in heaven. It's a very good size, especially for the price. And it tasted great, did I mention that? The waiter was relaxed and the restaurant seemed cozy. We'll go there again. Tuesdays or Thursdays 😜

We were there eating with 4 people (and two babies in the stroller) Wherever we called, we were told no problem, come here, we also have space for strollers. When we got there we were greeted very unfriendly and we first had to figure out where to put us. There was a big celebration back there. We were told straight away that we should please order straight away as the kitchen was about to close. I would like to emphasize once that it was 8:15 p.m. We then received the cards and they clearly stated “kitchen hours from...-10 p.m.”. (Food is frozen goods) After dinner we wanted dessert and there was a lot of cursing in a language that we couldn't understand. When we ordered a coke we were told very clearly, please without lemon, of course it came with lemon, and there was a lot of cursing again when we asked for it said again and he had to redo them. When we wanted the bill, we said if we could separate them and there were difficulties, so he then said that we should please calculate it. We then divided what belongs to whom, then it took until the staff could add it up. Overall, we wouldn't recommend anyone to eat there.

We arrived and were greeted extremely unfriendly and told that we should order quickly because they wanted to get off work. I emphasize that we were there at 8:15 p.m. and the kitchen is said to be open until 10 p.m. The waitress simply grabbed the empty plates from behind without saying anything and cursed loudly in their language. We ordered a glass of cola WITHOUT lemon, whereupon we received a glass WITH lemon. When we informed him, he snatched the glass from me and started cursing. I think it's cheeky to charge almost 16 euros for a frozen schnitzel with the cheapest fries. Overall it was a disaster and I can't recommend anyone to eat there.

We celebrated a birthday here and were very happy with everything. There is enough parking space so that no guest had to stress. The food was very tasty and the service is friendly.

I happened to be here and was pleasantly surprised. Absolutely professionally run house with excellent cuisine. I think the portions are good and the prices are reasonable. The waiter is on his toes. The food didn't take long to arrive. Replenishments of beer also came quickly. Absolutely in need of repeating. I still have to test the rest of the card too. I'll be back.

I was “only” here to eat. That's why I can't say anything about the rooms🤣. For me there was gypsy turkey schnitzel with rösties (very hot and very tasty). Beforehand there was the obligatory soup and a delicious salad too. Highly recommended 👍. Service friendly.

wir haben nur das Restaurant besucht und, trotzdem reservierten Platz, müssten wir auf einen Tisch warten. Zum Glück war das mit gutem Essen und guter Bedienung ausgeglichen. Die Atmosphäre ist privat genug und ich konnte mit meiner Gesellschaft ohne Schwierigkeiten unterhalten. Ich werde gerne wieder dieses Restaurant besuchen.

Das Essen ist super lecker. Dennoch wird die Bedienung immer unhöfflicher, man hat das Gefühl, dass man schnell essen muss damit der Tisch direkt weiter gegeben werden kann. Respektloses Verhalten der Kunden gegenüber die unter anderem schon zu Stammkunden gehören. Nachdem wir mehrfach die Chance gegeben haben, haben wir nach dem heutigen Besuch entschieden Ort aufgrund des frechen Personals kein fuss mehr rein zu setzen. Gutes Essen gibt es auch woanders + noch freundliches Personal!

Wir waren dort nicht zum erstenmal essen, jedesmal super nett bedient worden und das Essen dort ist sehr lecker vor allem am Schnitzeltag für 11.90€ eine große Portion. Vielen lieben Dank bis zum nächsten mal.
