Zum Böseler in Lüchow (Wendland)

A year ago, I ordered Indian butter chicken at Wendel. Unfortunately, four other people and I vomited afterward. Since we weren't there, we could only call, but were fobbed off. This time, I gave the restaurant a second chance and ordered potato wedges with an appetizer. Everything smelled of old oil, and the salad dressing tasted like convenience store produce. The taste was disappointing, and when I mentioned it, I was given a strange look. I still had to pay. The quality seems like poorly prepared convenience store produce, completely inadequate for the price. Freshly cooked food tastes different—it wasn't. No response to our complaint, unprofessional service. I can't recommend Wendel.

The food is okay, like any other fast food joint. The staff is really friendly. The interior has seen better days. It's a good place for a quick bite to eat. P.S.: How can they not post a legible menu online these days?

I was excited and looking forward to the comfort hotel. I was on a hike along the Green Belt and, after four weeks of running, I'm taking a day off here. I think my appearance with my backpack and hat led to me being asked for money right away and having to pay immediately! Impossible!!@ My "comfort room" is on the ground floor facing the parking lot. When I asked if I could swap rooms to the back or upstairs, of course not!!! I would have been willing to pay more!!! The room itself is also far from "comfortable"!!! So I was looking forward to the two days too early. So, of course, my visit to the hotel restaurant is canceled!!! One more positive thing: a different lady at the reception is swapping my room to the garden side tomorrow. Thank you for that!!! The change of room was like night and day. The manager herself took care of it and apologized for yesterday. The chambermaids are also great and very helpful. Thank you!

Very nice restaurant, friendly service and good food. We were invited to a birthday party.

RATING FOR RATSKELLER GERMAN RESTAURANT (There are many reviews of the old steakhouse - but the steakhouse no longer exists): The food is really good and delicious! Beautifully presented – and the decorative purée tastes simply fantastic! I highly recommend it: Definitely give it a try! 😋
