We went to dinner at Aubräu Traunstein today. A small, fine beer garden. The staff were very friendly and attentive. The selection in the restaurant is very good, there is something for everyone and the price is absolutely right. We can give an absolute recommendation.

We were there more or less by chance because we were in the mood for Bavarian cuisine after hiking and were absolutely thrilled. Really friendly and genuine service staff. Nowadays you notice more and more often that people smile at you, but in the end it's just a facade. Not so in Aubräu. Here people still treat each other honestly and kindly. The food was from the reduced afternoon menu. We had the schnitzel and the beef goulash and were both absolutely thrilled. You would think that you can't go wrong with a schnitzel - the kitchen at Aubräu shows what you can do right! Good meat, pounded nice and thin, delicious and crispy pannade and a hearty potato salad. The same applies to beer goulash. A hearty, tasty goulash with beef that falls apart on its own. The motto here is: Enjoy every bite, you rarely get such a fine meal served anymore! We can't say anything about the ambience in the restaurant as we appreciated the good weather in the beer garden. We highly recommend it and we will definitely come back!

Classic Bavarian inn with a nice beer garden. We had a good meal here and were served very friendly and attentive. The menu offers typical Bavarian dishes at reasonable prices and very good quality. We had the Wiener-style schnitzel, which was delicious. The Kaiserschmarrn for dessert was a poem and is absolutely recommended. The beautifully designed side room with large windows is also ideal for celebrations in larger groups. We'd love to come back!

Our stop on the way home from vacation for years. And delicious every time! Price and performance are right, portions are sufficient and authentic. If you like German or Bavarian cuisine, this is the place for you! Staff friendly and quick.

We were spontaneously in Traunstein on Sunday and found this restaurant online. We absolutely loved it! Not only the service and the nice employees but also the delicious food and the price-performance ratio. Really highly recommended and very easy to reach. Simply a very quaint and experienced restaurant. We had two portions of schnitzel “Viennese style” with fries and potato salad. The potato salad was particularly outstanding with the schnitzel.

Very good and very plentiful!! Friendly staff and beautiful large room... The dessert Kaisercharm mit Appfelkompot is killer but a plate for 2 because it's very very filling or you should only eat that 😊

Here again, because of an invitation: it has become very expensive, the price-performance ratio is no longer right. How many restaurants exploited the tax adjustment to raise prices unreasonably. The sauce for the beef dishes is strikingly the same. Goulash portion for 18.50 measly. Take a look at the price increases in the last 2 years: by a good 40-50%!!! I wish my pension had been raised similarly! Unfortunately, the only option is to do without. Hopefully this doesn't backfire. Tasty, rustic, all good (old reviews). Portions have also become smaller recently. Unfortunately, no one responds to the complaint and the corresponding contact email, hence a star deduction.

My meal (Kasspatzn) was very good and plentiful. It was a shame that the friend forgot the food. I missed offering an alternative or taking over the drink.

We've been to Aubräu several times now and it's always been a great experience, so I have to write a review now. The staff was always extremely nice and helpful. Every time we were served quickly and everything arrived at the table correctly. The food: a dream. I've eaten a few different things. But so far everything has been really great... from schnitzel to salad with cheese dumplings. What I find particularly cool is that the salad, for example, had balsamic drops added to it. This is a great exciting addition. The price is absolutely justified and not too expensive! I really like the place. I would recommend it at any time and we will definitely come back!

I had a turkey schnitzel and a two wheat beer here. Unfortunately, one glass of wheat beer was still covered in soap residue. But not the other one. My colleague had a pork schnitzel which, as expected, was huge. He had it packed up, but his fries were thrown away. The food was very tasty and the beer too. Deduction for the ambience due to the lack of music, but I don't know if that's always the case here. Overall, still recommended if you are in the area.

I wanted the best schnitzel in Traunstein and I got it. So crispy, nice and thin and huge. Plus classic fries. Everything was included (cranberries/ketchup/mayo), so you didn't have to order anything extra, you could just take what you wanted. If I want to eat schnitzel again, I'll mainly go here again. Was so delicious. Don’t forget to reserve a table 😉. Ambience 1 point deducted simply because it was a bit loud next to the regulars' table 😂 I'm sorry.

Aubräu und Wochinger Bier, sehr netter Stammtisch und das empfehlenswerte Essen, immer ein guter Grund hier einzukehren.

+ Essen kam schnell + Kellner freundlich - Portion deutlich kleiner als gedacht - ziemlich teuer - Kartoffelsalat sehr künstlich, fast wie aus der Dose geschmeckt - wenig Parkplätze, gerad wenn es voll ist

Jetzt wo ich wieder Herr meiner Sinne bin, muss i de Bewertung auch abgeben. War a sehr netter abend, nur dass paar Kollegen gmoant ham se miassn ned kemma, duad ma ned wenn ois scho ogschafft is. Respekt an de küch, de Ripperl warn narrisch guad, a des Krauthafferl ois Beilage sehr gelungen. Deine Buam ham a super Arbeit gmacht und immer freindlich gwesn. Machts weida so.

Sehr freundliches Personal. Essen ist hervorragend. Besonders die Schnitzel sind einfach toll, alles andere natürlich auch. Ein Besuch dort ist auf jeden Fall zu empfehlen. Tischreservierung kein Problem.

Gutes Essen und riesige Portion. Die Kinder/Senioren Portion ist dort fast so groß wie bei anderen Restaurants die normale Portion

Lieblings wirt in Traunstein. Schönes Ambiente, sowohl altbayrisch in da Stube als auch gehobener im Anbau. Essen sehr gut sowie nettes und kompetentes Personal. Preise sind gut. Im Sommer gibt es auch noch einen kleinen Biergarten. Auf jede Fall zu empfehlen.

Die telefonische Reservierung ging einfach. Super war, dass nach einem evtl. Anlass gefragt wurde. Der Tisch war für das Geburtstagsessen, ohne dass ich es explizit bestellt hatte, sehr schön gedeckt. Alles in allem war es ein schöner Abend mit sehr leckeren Speisen und Getränke und einer unglaublich freundlichen und aufmerksamen Kellnerin. Wir würden alle jederzeit gerne wieder zum Auwirt gehen. Essen und Service sehr gut. Die Auswahl kann sich sehen lassen. Es fehlt lediglich ein Spielplatz, wenn man doch mal mit den schratzn unterwegs ist.

Wir waren heute nach einem Tagesausflug am Abend beim Essen und haben im Biergarten noch einen Platz für fünf gefunden. Die Portionen waren groß und es hat allen geschmeckt. Die Bedienung war sehr freundlich. Preislich ist es wie bei allen anderen auch… da kann leider keiner mehr Punkten…

Zum Aubräu ist ein Lokal das man gerne weiter empfehlen kann. gute Park Möglichkeiten. Kleiner aber schöner Biergarten. Bedienung Aufmerksam und flott. Essen sehr lecker, große Portionen.
