Everything was great. We received a very friendly welcome, and the service was excellent, always with a witty remark. A really relaxed and pleasant atmosphere. The food was excellent, with huge portions. The value for money was simply amazing. A fantastic experience on our vacation.

Awesome brewery restaurant, super service, and incredibly delicious food—and definitely not for those with a quick snack. The portions are impressive. And, as befits a brewery restaurant, the beer is top-notch.

We regularly pick up lunch from work; it's really delicious, and you get a really good portion for your money. The service is also great. We've even started coming here for our small Christmas party! It's a truly great restaurant in a prime location!

A wonderful place in the heart of the city! The location of this Bavarian beer garden is ideal – easily accessible both on foot and by car. The staff is extremely friendly, many of the employees have been there for years and know their regular guests - this creates a familiar and warm atmosphere. The service is first class, the food is served very quickly. I particularly recommend the grilled chicken and ribs – simply delicious and our favorite dishes at this restaurant! All other dishes are consistently delicious and of consistently high quality. Whether a cozy meal with the family, a meeting with friends, a quick lunch or a birthday party - this restaurant is always the right choice. We also regularly get takeaway food - and are very satisfied every time. I can wholeheartedly recommend this place - it's always warm, familiar and of a high standard!

I also give it full marks. A very cozy inn with really good and very filling food. They also offer a lunch subscription menu. The service is very friendly, and there's Wi-Fi.

Classic tavern with a corresponding ambience. Service was a bit too difficult to describe. It was polite, but a friend, for example, wasn't allowed to sit in a certain spot on the corner bench. Or I was in the middle of a conversation when someone shouted in my ear what I wanted next. As I said, not rude but somehow very awkward. Well, the food was definitely quite good, and value for money too. The Goaßn was so good that it was constantly empty, see photo.

I was looking for a place to get traditional Bavarian food while visiting. I will definitely be back before I leave, too. The staff was helpful and friendly. Especially as someone who doesnt speak much German, it was great to have an english menu offered and for reccommendation to be made. Fair warning, the portions are pretty big. But the food and the beer and the dessert was too good to pass up! Highly recommend and am very grateful for my experience here 🙌🏻

I recommend the "Ayinger" to everyone who appreciates good Bavarian food. I love the Wiener-style schnitzel with homemade, very good potato salad. Very good breading!

I have visited Traunstein several times and tried out the inns. For me the restaurant with the nicest atmosphere and the tastiest food. The portions are very generous. I'm always happy when I can come by again.

I would describe it as a little insider tip. I'm more than surprised myself. You can tell that the waiter enjoys what he is doing. The onion roast was an absolute stunner and I think the other dishes score equally well. I will come more often and try the menu

Rustic restaurant with a beautifully decorated Bavarian ambience. I had the King Ludwig Schnitzel. That was very plentiful and delicious! Small point of criticism: The breading on the bottom wasn't as well done as it was on the top. Therefore only 4 instead of 5 stars. The prices are very reasonable. But you can really fill yourself up with a tasty meal.

A Bavarian tavern that suits my taste. Authentic like back in the day. D'Susi and d'Fini san love and excellent service as desired. The juicy roast pork (shoulder) with crispy crust is one of the best I've ever eaten (and it was absolutely delicious). In terms of price, it's okay. It's a shame that I give it. 👍🏻

We ate at Höllbräu today and have NEVER eaten a tastier schnitzel! It was tender, the breading was fried in clarified butter and the fries and salad rounded everything off 😍 we'll definitely be back

Beautiful Bavarian inn right on the town square in Traunstein. We sat outside and were able to watch the hustle and bustle in the early evening. The waiter was very friendly and took the order quickly. The menu offers a good selection of hearty delicacies, various schnitzel variations and chicken dishes. We had the breaded chicken shreds with dip and a mixed salad with a very good dressing. The food was very tasty, the service was attentive and the prices were reasonable. Unreserved recommendation, we would love to come back!

The Ayinger is right on the market square, we were lucky because there was a festival that day. The waiter was very friendly and funny. My wife took the schnitzel with potato salad and I had the Grenschnitzel with fried potatoes. There were 2 thick slices of schnitzel on both plates, so the portions were very large. The Grenschnitzel was served with dark wine sauce and grated Gren. The food was not only a lot but tasted extremely good. The prices were also in the middle range; we paid €38 for food, shandy and soda with a tip. In general, I would eat there again, a clear recommendation.

The Höllbräu is one of the best inns in Chiemgau. Anyone passing by here should not pass it by. The staff is always friendly and accommodating, the furnishings are charming, rustic and always seasonally decorated and the food is truly unique. The selection of food is very diverse and there is something for everyone here. The portions are very large, so it is an unbeatable price-performance ratio and the taste is an experience for the palate. Clear recommendation!!!

Typical Bavarian restaurant with great food and the best beer. Boiled beef brisket with bouillon potatoes, the apple strudel, curd strudel and the hot love were perfect. The landlady is extremely Bavarian friendly. The mood was exuberant. We would be happy to come back.

It's always a pleasure to visit this restaurant, a nice Bavarian atmosphere without over-modernizing it. Completely in a rustic style. The dishes are very plentiful and tasty. The only thing that has changed is my roast pork. The shiny dark brown sauce for the roast pork isn't quite my taste and the hoped-for crust wasn't as expected either.

A trypical Bavarian restaurant, but has more food options. Great rustic look and the waiters are also energetic and helpful. Tried the ripperlassen( pork rib buffet kinda) and it was ok..the dish I liked the most is the chicken platter with 3 types of chicken.

Das Ayinger hat die typischen wohlschmeckende Biere der Brauerei. Vom Ambiente her ein griabiges Wirtshaus, der Kellner Stefan ist nun wirklich nicht auf den Mund gefallen.. Wir waren nur kurz im Wirtshaus, hatten nichts gegessen, kann aber die eingestellten Bilder nur bestätigen. Absolute Empfehlung.... Toll hier...

Wir waren zum zweiten Mal hier, auf der Durchreise. Das Essen ist oberlecker und reichhaltig, das Bier läuft gut 😀 Sehr nettes Personal, wir kommen gerne wieder.

Da gibt es tatsächlich noch einen richtig wohlschmeckenden Krustenbraten mit Knödeln. Echt bayrische Küchenspezialitäten die auch noch bezahlbar sind.

Ein sehr schönes uriges Wirtshaus, super Essen, riesige Portionen, super freundliches Personal. Ein tolles Erlebnis. Habe das Backhendl gegessen, erstklassig, kriegt man ja fast nirgends mehr. Inzwischen war ich nochmal da und habe Schweinebraten gegessen, sagenhaft, riesige Portionen und super Geschmack. Sehr gutes Weißbier. Da müsst ihr hin.

Hervorragend! Schweinsbraten mit zweierlei Knödel und Krautsalat. Absolut Top und auch ausreichende Portion. Ayinger würde ich das Kellerbier empfehlen schmeckt besser als das Helle. Preis/Leistung sehr gut für die heutige Zeit glaube es waren 13.60 für ein super Gericht. Bedienung war nett und aufmerksam. 5/5 zu empfehlen und sie sehen uns bestimmt wieder. Danke

Prima Wirtschaft mit guter Lage am Stadtplatz. Vor allem auf den Aussenplätzen kann man prima sitzen und das Menschengewimmel um einen ansehen und genießen. Die Aussenplätze sind nicht nur an den Außenwänden sondern auch gegenüber an der Rückseite des Doms. Die Innenausstattung ist typisch Wirtshaus und gemütlich. Als ich da war war so ziemlich jeder Platz innen besetzt. Nach dem langen hin und her mit dem Laden hat es Ayinger richtig gemacht und sich auf dem Biermarkt Traunstein „eingekauft“. Essen war prima, die Getränke als Ayinger gut und der Service ist freundlich und wirklich flott. Schön zum Sitzen für das Mittags- oder Feierabendbier.

Traditionelles Wirtshaus, mit Bayerischem Gaumenschmaus, sehr zum Empfehlen egal ob für die Mittagspause oder zum Ausklang am Abend.

Hab mich echt wohl gefühlt. Schnell bedient worden. Und von den Angeboten war ich sehr überrascht. Werde bestimmt wieder kommen.

Das Essen ist unglaublich gut. Als wir das erste Mal da waren, wurden wir von Stefan bedient - es war unfassbar lustig mit ihm, er liebt seinen Job und das merkt man. Danach direkt weitere Freunde eingepackt und wieder hin :)

Absolut empfehlenswert. Wir waren dort zu 4 Erwachsenen und 2 Kinder und hatten, bis auf die Kinder, das Donnerstags-Angebot genommen. Super leckeres Essen und der Wirt war echt super drauf. Wir mussten viel Lachen.
