My husband and I ordered various schnitzels and were very satisfied. There were large portions, delicious sauces, and good value for money. The service was super friendly and attentive. We'd love to come back. Unfortunately there are no photos, the hunger was too great.

I had a very good and rich salad, everything was very fresh and very tasty. The schnitzels at our table were quite large. Unfortunately there was a lack of staff, so the service suffered somewhat. Despite everything, the waiter was very friendly and did everything to our complete satisfaction.

An ambience that seemed fine from outside was deceptive. Particularly noteworthy are the absolutely inattentive waiters. It takes 20 minutes for the drink to be ordered and another 20 for delivery. It then takes 1.30 hours for the food order to be taken. Is it expected that more drinks will be ordered before the meal??!. The food was disappointing, but visually it looked good. Another hour passed before the bill arrived. Unfortunately, I'll never do that again.

I'm sorry to say that my visit to this restaurant was very disappointing. The food was cold and the fries seemed to have been in the deep fryer several times - absolutely inedible. The service was also subpar - rude and stroppy. A person who claimed to be the owner did not behave professionally at all. I certainly won't eat here again.

It was our first time at the Zülpicher Wirtshaus. We were critical due to a few negative reviews - but we like to form our own opinion. We sat outside in the beer garden. It was pretty well attended but not overcrowded. We ordered the drinks straight away, which were served very quickly. The food was brought after about 15-20 minutes. Schnitzel, currywurst, fries, side salads... Everything together was very tasty, fresh and lovingly prepared. And they are really decent portions! Someone once wrote something about ready-made sauces. That is definenitly not true! The staff is very friendly and attentive. My wife asked for a few slices of lemon - they were brought promptly. I would also like to mention that the checkout did not work and we were offered payment via PayPal. Very good! We will be back definitely.

The food doesn't even deserve one star, the meat was cold and was only warmed up very briefly together with the sauce, if at all. I haven't eaten such bad food in a long time. (Shashlik with fries) I would be ashamed to offer something like that to a customer.

We unintentionally spent almost 2 hours there eating. Almost 1 1/2 hours until the food came. The presumed boss greeted us in a friendly manner, but instead of helping to reduce the problem, he just stood around in the area. The food portions were large, the food itself was not exceptional. My side salad was not served. The restaurant itself is quite attractive.

The service was brilliant, but because of the absence! Whenever she was spotted, she would stop at every table and hold a conversation with exorbitant calm, with each guest falling out of her field of vision. No customer can and cannot be satisfied with this commitment! After 1 hour, when we asked, we received our food, but it was between lukewarm and cold, so we were too idle to complain about it! Our conclusion, no repeat!!!!!!!!

We sat under a parasol, received very friendly and courteous service and didn't get wet. So those are the positive impressions. The service was attentive, quick and in a good mood. In the meantime, guests who had ordered at the same time came to us as we were going home and asked if we needed to drink our fill We had been in the restaurant for 1.5 hours now. Then the waitress came and asked if everything was OK. What did I ask, food wasn't there yet and I take the order back. Another waitress then came and said our food would come soon. We were happy to forego that. Waiting for 2 hours is not possible. Once and not again. However, they were very accommodating and gave a discount and apologized. But what use is that if you leave hungry after 2 hours?

The food was worse than most fast food places. The sauces were apparently ready-made, the fries were cold, the schnitzel was OK but nothing you would order again. The service across the board seems to have no idea about gastronomy. First, two different waiters ask for an order, but they don't bring any drinks or forget half of them, they can't answer questions about the wines or even know which wines the house offers. All in all, we'd probably rather go somewhere else.

I was warmly greeted when I made my reservation by phone and in the restaurant. I found the waiting time for the food to be relatively long (over 30 minutes) as there wasn't much going on. The portions are very large and for the price you can't complain - the taste was okay for me (spinach dumplings in mushroom gorgonzola sauce) - my colleagues were satisfied (ribs + roulade). I generally think the place is nicely decorated, but I don't think storing crates of drinks (I'm not talking about one) in the taproom for the deposit is that nice to look at.

Wir wurden ausgesprochen freundlich und höflich empfangen. Die Damen der Bedienung sind sehr nett und aufmerksam. Das Team sorgte für eine Stimmung, bei der sich der Gast sehr gut aufgehoben fühlte. Am Essen war nichts auszusetzen. Lecker und gut. Die Getränke sind "gepflegt". Wir freuen uns auf den nächsten Besuch!

Ein Besuch, der sich auf jeden Fall lohnt. Man fühlt sich vom ersten Moment an sehr willkommen. Die Küche ist hervorragend und der Service sehr zuvorkommend und freundlich. Das Lokal ist blitzsauber, die Sanitäreinrichtungen sind für gehbehinderte Menschen mittels Treppenlift erreichbar.

If 95 percent are not available, it would be better to hang a sign in the window, closed due to illness! This gives the customer the opportunity to enjoy their time somewhere else! A year ago there was already a dilemma because the cook was ill and the food on offer was then served as a makeshift from the grill. Today was the second chance, unfortunately nothing again! It was the last visit. For me it's clear that if you don't do anything, you'll become an innkeeper! Gastronomy should only be run by people who know their business! Because especially today, when everything is labeled at the top price, you want to expect more than at McDonalds!

Waited 90 minutes for the food, the meat was tough, the sauce was a finished product. Then we asked for the invoice, payment only possible in cash or Paypal. After another wait of over 30 minutes, we asked if we could finally pay. The answer we got was that the waitress hadn't counted the food and that we were now trying to keep track of what we had eaten. With the menu and our cell phone, we had the total in 5 minutes determined. Then we were supposed to pay via PayPal, we didn't get a receipt. When we insisted, we received a handwritten receipt. Had a very strange aftertaste.

The Father's Day BBQ was very ambitious... There were around 90-100 guests there and there was one (1!!!) "normal" gas grill... Nothing was pre-grilled. Some of the meat was still raw on the inside (neck and turkey steak). Waiting times were considerable. The side salads tasted like convenience products. The prices were outrageous for the service. Now for the good: The service was very friendly and on the ball. The "alternative" salad was delicious. The atmosphere there is very nice and clean. Great beer garden! Still only 2 stars overall for the day.

Yesterday we were disappointed there for the second time. The first time we waited an hour for our food, but after half an hour we were informed that the ingredients for our order were missing. Yesterday we experienced the greatest insolence: an unfriendly waitress who brought the wrong drink and answered stupidly A neck steak with Italian pasta salad for 12.50 euros was ordered - a neck steak with counted pasta with a little tomato paste. For 2.50 euros you could order three slices of dry or old baguette bread and then you could also order a spoonful of mush at a reasonable price. We often and like to eat out, even if the restaurants had to raise the prices, but we won't do something like this There are too many others where the price and performance are justified

We celebrated our communion there, it was the nightmare of our lives. The buffet was OK. But now this!!! When we arrived there was no table set in any way. The buffet was ordered for 1 p.m., the food arrived at 1:50 p.m. The rosemary potatoes were still raw, forks, plates and glasses were missing. I felt sorry for the waiter, he was totally overwhelmed. We had to go into the kitchen every few minutes and ask about anything that was missing. We were embarrassed for our guests. To experience something like that on a special day like our daughter's communion and for so much money, it was an absolute nightmare. The boss told us afterwards that there was a lack of staff. The waiter apologized that everything went wrong that afternoon, but he already felt sorry for us.....you shouldn't accept 3 communions in one day if you don't have the staff to handle it all!!! For me / for us, it was an experience in this restaurant to break the habit. The fish stinks from the head up, that's all we can say in our case. You pay so much money and look forward to such a great day for our daughter, and you are so disappointed with this restaurant. I'm just sorry for our guests who had to witness the whole drama. I can only give one tip for the future, change your concept otherwise it won't work in the future. We were dazzled by the facade of this actually beautiful restaurant. But behind the facade, a lot of things aren't right. Sorry we have to say it like that...

We had reserved for 7:00 p.m. and were there on time. We received the menu after 15 minutes and the order was taken after another 10 minutes. Drinks came quickly. When we still had no food at 8:15 p.m., but the neighboring tables that came after us had already finished their food, we asked. It was said that the Eiffeler spit roast that we ordered had run out and had to be remade. We would actually have expected that this would be communicated to us earlier to give us the chance to reorder. When the food came after another 15 minutes, we had no cutlery. When we asked, we were given a basket with 3 cutlery, but we were 4 people. I would describe what we were served as Eiffeler spit roast as normal roast pork with a thick onion sauce, but not as Eiffeler spit roast. It wasn't rolled and didn't have a hole from the skewer, so it certainly wasn't spit-roasted. It also had no crust but was soft on the outside, which was further enhanced by the sauce. So definitely not what we expected as spit roast. To save my honor, it should be said that the roast pork tasted very good and it was a large portion. The fries were particularly good. Overall not bad, but just not what we ordered and expected.

We were in the restaurant today, April 13, 2024. Nice beer garden. But that's it ! Ordered shish kebab with fries! Shish kebab as warm as the tomato that came with it and the whole thing warmed up in the microwave. The fries were good, but that was it! The table neighbors felt the same way! We will not recommend or visit the restaurant. I was offered to heat the meat again! It has to be said too! We don't like food heated in the microwave. So the shish kebab went back and it was fine. We then ordered and the drinks came quickly. But the food was a long time coming: liver loaf and suckling pig with fried potatoes and coleslaw. After about 20 minutes a group of 5 people arrives. We wait and wait. Then about 30 minutes later they all get their food, we wait and wait. Then finally my husband gets his meat loaf and two people at the other table get their food. Then I also said that coleslaw would come later because my colleague was so slow. My problem is that I didn't like the food. Then I look at the decoration, a slice of tomato with 2 completely dried out cucumber slices. I then told the waiter this. Hint from the kitchen: she thinks it's all fine. Then unfortunately there is no tip and of course no further visit. There are other restaurants.

Unfortunately, the employees were completely overwhelmed this Sunday: we were invited to communion. Although reservations had been made for inside (and this was confirmed several times by phone), we were packed into the beer garden (closed tent) with 12 people. We had a lot of small children with us. Since it is outside, the children were exposed to smoke from neighboring tables. Some guests wanted to order a small Kölsch, but then they said: Only large Kölsch outside (even though we were supposed to and wanted to sit inside...)! Then you waited 75 minutes for the food, only to hear that the guests inside and the two communion parties inside would be first in line! Outrageous, especially since our hosts had been making reservations here for several months! Since several tables outside were occupied, we had to expect another long wait until our table was served. Given that everyone was hungry and the communion child had to go to mass in the afternoon, we decided to stop here! Disaster for the family on such a holiday!!! If you can't manage such quantities with the existing staff, then you shouldn't make so many promises and accept reservations!!! Simply impossible!!!

Overall it's a nice restaurant and comfortably furnished, you have to wait a long time for food if you get anything at all. I've had very bad experiences. The service is overwhelmed and therefore also notices the frustration of the guests. It's all due to poor management. This means I can't recommend it any further.

Service friendly and attentive. Locally solidly furnished. Food not convincing. Leberkäs was already completely gray and unsightly on one side. Tasted nasty and old. We let it go back. It's actually a shame to put something like that on the guest's plate. Schnitzel was okay. Nothing special and a bit dry for my taste. The fries were delicious. The restaurant was relatively empty. Nevertheless, we had to wait quite a long time for the food.

Today we spontaneously drove through Zülpich and saw the inn. We went in with no expectations but very hungry. Luckily the kitchen is open on Fridays from 11. Conclusion: Very tasty beer selection, which I unfortunately couldn't enjoy due to the drive (will make up for it 😉), Spare ribs for my wife and meat loaf with fried potatoes for me. Everything was super tasty and really huge portions. We'll definitely be back to try out the rest of the menu.

We were there at 4 p.m. and there were already no more roulades... well, we decided otherwise... When it came to dessert, we specifically asked if everything was still there and we were assured that it was. Unfortunately, shortly after ordering, the waitress came and told us that there would be no more apple strudel....... Very poorly calculated and at Easter. And there was only the Easter menu... we probably won't come here anymore... but the food was okay! And the staff is still nice.

It was reserved for 12 people. Unfortunately the reservation was entered for the wrong day, which meant there was no room for everyone at one table/corner. Only after the table next to us became available (the customers also waited a long time for the billing) were we able to sit together. It can happen, no problem. BUT we waited over half an hour for the drinks to be taken. After about 52 minutes, the order for the food was taken. After about 1 1/2 hours the food came for half of the people. The other half came little by little. The last person received the food after about 2 hours. The food was cold, one meal was completely returned. After a “joking” request to at least serve the nightcaps free of charge as a gesture of goodwill, these were also collected in full. I have worked in the catering industry myself and understand mistakes and the resulting stress. However, SERVICE and attention should come first. Customers could also be informed of the delay in advance and ask for their understanding. Unfortunately, I missed all of that. One waitress was nice, one was very dry in her demeanor. In summary, dissatisfied, unfortunately!

The food was okay, but the long discussion after the meal as to why you can only pay by Pay Pal or cash was very unpleasant. It was obvious to everyone that this is not because card payments are so expensive, but more because you can save so much on taxes. I also found the comments about the young people who, according to the boss, are incapable of working in his restaurant, very inappropriate. So instead of supporting people who come from abroad, they just said that it wasn't his problem and that he wasn't paying to teach them German. Completely inappropriate, I cannot recommend it

Rundum positiv. Es gab wirklich nichts zu beanstanden. Wunderschönes, ansprechendes und absolut sauberes Lokal, freundlicher, aufmerksamer und schneller Service, eine übersichtliche Speisekarte, die eigentlich keine Wünsche offen lässt und das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis absolut in Ordnung.

We had dinner on Sunday I haven't had a schnitzel like that yet seen. The meat is juicy and... Works great 👍 The sauces are made in-house. You can also heaven and earth eat or have sauerbraten or steak with you Chanterelles plus a small one. Salad, you'll be full until the next one Morning. Nice service and also helpful. We are on vacation and wanted to eat there on December 27th, 2023. We walked for about half an hour and found ourselves in front of a locked door!!! We had previously looked online (Inster, Google, Facebook, etc.) for the official opening times and found no reference to company holidays. Unfortunately!!! Nowadays it should be possible to inform guests!!! So just one star...

Da stimmt das Preis Leistungsverhältnis, wir gehen von Anfang an gern ab und zu Mittagessen. Es gibt wechselnde Mittagsgerichte und eine normale Wirtshauskarte. Besonders gern esse ich den scharfen Gulasch mit Fritten sehr lecker. manchmal dauert es etwas länger abermals macht die nette Bedienung mehr als wer. Außerdem wie immer zu erwähnen hundefreundliches Restaurant mit großem Biergarten.

War heute dort, habe gefragt, ob es ok ist, nur einen Kaffee zu trinken. Ich wurde herzliche aufgenommen und obwohl es nur ein Kaffee war, konnte ich als Raucher in einem wunderschön geschmückten Pavillon sitzen, mit Heizstrahler und diesen echt besonderen Ort genießen. Danke!!!!!!

Wir waren gestern Abend mit einem befreundeten Ehepaar dort essen. Als Vorspeise zwei Mal Gulaschsuppe, in einer zwei Stücke Fleisch, die man mit dem Hammer klein schlagen musste. Und nun zum Essen. Die beiden bestellten Haxen mit Pommes und Soße waren das schlechteste was ich bisher zu Essen bekommen habe, die Fritten innen noch hart, die Haxe hatte mit einer Haxe nicht das entfernteste, weder geschmacklich noch vom aussehen her, etwas zu tun. Es wurde ein Pfifferlingrahmschnitzel bestellt gebracht, wurde ein Champignonrahmschnitzel welches aber geschmeckt hat. Neben der Wartezeit von knapp 70 Min. aufs Essen, ein gänzlich missglückter Abend.

Gutes Essen,grosse Portionen (ich hab nicht alles geschafft,und das ist selten).Qualität der Produkte gut und vor allem frisch. Preis ,Leistung top. Gerne wieder.

Wir waren zu viert dort essen. Bis auf den sehr kleinen Beilagensalat der geschmacklich nicht wirklich unser Fall war, hat es sehr gut geschmeckt. Die Bedienung war auf Zack und sehr motiviert. Uns hat es dort gut gefallen.

Wir waren gestern Abend mit Freunden zu viert dort essen. Alles war supertoll gewesen 👍 ! Das Essen sehr gut, die Bedienung sehr freundlich und aufmerksam und das Ambiente ist auch sehr ansprechend. Alles in allem ein ganz toller Abend im Zülpicher Wirtshaus. An Gerichten hatten wir den Sauerbraten, das Jägerschnitzel, den Schaschlik und den Fleischkäse. Vielen Dank nochmal, wir kommen sehr gerne wieder!

Das Essen und die Preise sind ok. Der Kellner war freundlich, aber brauchte doch recht lang.

Wir waren gestern lecker Essen,haben schön gesessen, die Bedienung war sehr nett, alles in allem haben wir uns sehr wohl gefühlt und kommen bestimmt wieder

Waren am Samstag im Wirtshaus essen , sehr lecker und eine top Speisekarte wo richtige Wirtshaus ( Brauhaus ) Gerichte angeboten werden. Sehr netter Service wo man sich wohlfühlen kann 😊 wir kommen wieder 👍
