One of my favorite beer gardens to visit in the city, especially in the summer. Not the cheapest but still great value and an unbeatable location right on the water.

Lovely authentic Bavarian / German pub. We enjoyed dinner and some excellent beers. The staff were very helpful and I'd recommend.

A traditional bavarian quisine so do not expect many vegetables other that sauerkraut, but the food is delicious. The real star of the show is the fantastic personnel - 10/10. Worth a visit!

Very fast and friendly service. Despite the busy shop and many customers, we were able to get a table quickly. A limited but varied menu of traditional Bavarian cuisine. Great ambiance with a view of the Chancellery.

The one upstairs from the ground floor sends me to the basement because there's nothing left upstairs. The guy down in the basement complains to me that there is no room for individuals, even though everything is empty. Honestly, I'll go somewhere else to eat and just spend my money somewhere else and you're welcome to have me. Once again an excellent example of Germany's service desert!!!

Delicious authentic food and fantastic, attentive service. We looked online to book a table and it stated there was nothing available, we decided to risk it and turn up anyway and found that we were accomodated promptly.. worth noting if you're looking to book last minute!

I took advantage of the lunch offer and went back to work full and happy for under 15 euros.

Very nice restaurant in Bavarian style. (Possibly a descendant of the Augustiner Hofbräuhaus?) The service is a bit rough, but at the same time charming and very attentive. Nobody waits for beer here 😉 I'm looking forward to sitting there in the beer garden by the Spree in the summer.

Augustiner Keller: As non-vegetarians, we were very enthusiastic about the Morgenpost veggie menu. The yeast dumplings with beetroot salad and orange-mint sour cream as well as the chard and savoy cabbage rolls with polenta mushroom filling, vegetables and parsley oil should definitely stay on the menu. We were also thrilled with the service. Thanks for the great evening, see you soon.

Weird restaurant with rude staff. Came on a quiet Monday and it was mostly empty inside and out and told to wait 20 min for table. No problem. Ended up waiting 30 min and despite about 10 couples leaving they kept saying they are full to wait another 30 min....don't bother making the journey here go to other beer gardens.

Unfortunately I had a bad experience, my food didn't come. My friends were finished and my food still wasn't there. I understand service differently.

We were there as a group. The waiters were overwhelmed. Food didn't taste good at all. I asked the waitress for some bread. She forgot it. I asked if they offered fries and she said no.. So never go there again 🤮👎🏽

Zollpackhof is a fantastic spot with a great Bavarian-style atmosphere! 🍻🇩🇪 While they serve traditional Bavarian dishes, they also offer Currywurst, adding a nice touch to the menu. We highly recommend the Schnitzel and the assortment sharing dish—perfect for a fun and delicious meal with friends. The service was friendly, and a big plus is that they welcome dogs! A great place to enjoy good food and a lively ambiance. 🍽️🐶✨

Updating my review in 2025: for the past few years, Zollpackhof has been my favorite place for schnitzel. Both the veal schnitzel and the pork schnitzel they have on the business lunch menu were great. That's unfortunately no longer the case. I don't know what happened, if they changed the kitchen staff or just use cheaper meat and cheaper ingredients but the pork schnitzel is not as tender as it used to be, and with the veal schnitzel, also not as tasty and tender as it used to be, all the fried outside breaks in pieces as soon as you touch it - absolutely not worth the almost 30€ they charge for it. End of an era, I guess.

Lovely 17th century inn serving traditional fare, more Bavarian than local, but very well done. Schweinshaxe and beer by the fire, perfect in a snowy Berlin. A jazz brunch was happening in function room next door to restaurant, beer cellar and beer garden not open just now.

Last year I visited the beer garden and considered it to be the most beautiful in Berlin. Today it was the restaurant itself. Inside there is a very cozy Bavarian inn atmosphere, including a large fireplace. We had roast pork and original Wiener Schnitzel with lukewarm potato salad, all delicious. Prices are okay. The audience is diverse and the staff is incredibly friendly and attentive. The last reason in particular is why I give it a full 5 stars.

Letztes Jahr habe ich schon einmal den Biergarten besucht und für mich als den schönsten Berlins eingeordnet, heute war es dann auch einmal das Restaurant selbst. Innen herrscht eine sehr gemütliche bayerische Gasthofatmosphäre, großer Kaminofen inklusive. Wir hatten Schweinebraten und original Wiener Schnitzel mit lauwarmem Kartoffelsalat, alles köstlich. Preisesind in Ordnung. Das Publikum ist bunt gemischt, das Personal unglaublich freundlich und aufmerksam. Insbesondere aus letztem Grund gibt es von mir volle 5 Sterne.

A nice restaurant along the river. The exterior is very beautiful and calming. The food is very good and the customer service is also good. I could enjoy a nice view from the window seat. I ate a lot of German food, including delicious German beer and schnitzel. I had a good and satisfying meal. The toilets are also clean. The waiters were all very nice and nice. It is also recommended for Japanese customers.

I recently ate there with my family, very tasty food, and we had the waitress Tatjana who was incredibly friendly towards us and mastered her job so confidently. Can only be recommended!

Prussian tradition, excellent food, super service

I had dinner there with some friends on Friday evening and we sat i... Followed by a few drinks. A very nice location with very good food. Portion size is also appropriate for the price. The service was great and very friendly. Only at the end of the day was everyone in a hurry. The last orders were taken 50 minutes before the store closed. The bill arrived 30 minutes before closing time and most of the chairs were already on the tables. I found that a bit unpleasant for a Friday evening. The drink prices were also quite high... which is probably also due to the location. But I would stop by again at any time.

Very nice restaurant with a view of the Chancellery. A little hidden behind the main train station currently surrounded by a construction site. Very friendly welcome, beautiful and varied menu, attractive weekly lunch menu always with a vegetarian option, 1 glass of water included at a very fair price of €14.90. The service is very attentive and friendly. The whole atmosphere is very well maintained and clean. A really good place in the government district to take a break. Two thumbs up!!

Highly recommended! Not only is the food and ambience very good, but the waiters are all in a good mood and have a sense of humor!

Large restaurant with a hall for events. The menu is VERY clear, not to say sparse. This doesn't have to be a disadvantage if the quality of the dishes is right, and in fact it is. The roast pork we ordered melted in our mouths. Only the dark beer we ordered from the Bavarian brewery could have been a little maltier, but the restaurant can't do anything about that. Table reservations at events are strongly recommended and you will always be seated. In any case, it is the better alternative to the touristy Hofbräuhaus on Alexanderplatz if you want to spend a well-kept Bavarian evening with radish (for all non-Bavarians: white radish) and beer, and also eat well. Be careful: be sure to pocket a little more money.... The prices are certainly within reason, but they seem to be more closely aligned with the cost of living in Munich than with the cost of living in Berlin.

We stopped here for something to eat and drink as part of an out-of-town trip and felt we were in good hands. Service was good, friendly, attentive and quick. The beer was delicious and the price was absolutely right these days at €5.50 for a half. I had no complaints about the food either. I ordered the Wiener Schnitzel. This was nice and thin, tasted very good and, above all, was still very warm when it arrived. The restaurant itself was also very clean, not as "shabby" as some other restaurants, toilets were clean, and the ambience was also good. Really great. Would come here again without thinking twice.

We were here with a larger group - in the Augustiner Keller. Great ambience. No problem even during the week (reservation recommended). Service Berlin, but great. Food and especially beer were very tasty. We'll be back!

They are scammers, if you don't speak German don't go, first they give you a different menu than the German one with very different prices and they overcharge you, the bill magically went from 55 to 65

A great Bavarian restaurant near Berlin Hauptbahnhof on the banks of the Spree. We stopped in for lunch. It was a cold day so we opted for soups and gluwein. If we were very in Berlin again we would certainly visit. Staff were friendly, well turned out and very professional.

Not a recommendation for a cozy restaurant visit. "Head waiter" extremely unfriendly. We were told that we were "too loud" because our group had someone who plays music professionally playing cozy accordion background music. Plus you can definitely find a more cozy restaurant for €5.50 / 0.5l beer.

Recibimos una cálida bienvenida a la llegada y todo el personal era atento y hablaba buen inglés. La comida llegó rápido y estaba delicioso. En general, tuvimos una velada fantástica y no podíamos fallar nada.

We were in the Augustinerkeller of the Zollpackhof. Food and service were very good. I still prefer to sit in a classic restaurant. Unfortunately this was fully booked.

Der Zollpackhof hat sehr stark abgenommen. Im Restaurant der Service sehr unfreundlich, extrem langsam und unaufmerksam. Wenn Getränke leer waren, musste man bei sehr geringer Auslastung und mehreren Kellner/innen trotzdem lange warten und sich bemühen überhaupt jemanden anzusprechen. Die eine Kellnerin war nur an der Kasse. Man musste nach Salz/Pfeffer fragen. Kartoffelsuppe hat nach reine Maggi geschmeckt. Altes Brot. Vor einiger Zeit, gab es frisches Brot, 3 halbe Scheiben, jetzt eine halbe Scheibe hart. Brezeln werden nach max. 10 Minuten hart. Kenne ich von keiner Bäcker Brezel so, oder wenn man selbst TK aufbackt. Dafür soviel Geld zu nehmen ist ein Witz. Die Speisen, sowie Getränke (Fanta keinen Sprudel bei unserer Nichte) werden immer teurer, und leider keine Qualität. Bis vor kurzem waren wir 1x monatlich hier. Gerade weil es so lecker&frisch war mit gutem Service. Aber wir müssen auch arbeiten gehen für unser Geld. Und Berlin hat wesentlich besser erreichbare Restaurants mit besserem Preis-Leistungs Verhältnis.

Very beautiful german kitchen restaurant, not far from Berlin train station. Our Wiener Schnitzel wasnt perfect like in Wien, but atmosphere and the very kind staff made our dinner very enjoyable.

Very bad attention. The waitress has no education. The food is poor quality and they throw the plates at you. I don't recommend it at all. In addition, the waitress, upon seeing us tourists, tried to charge us €90 more than the bill and when she saw that we checked her, she quickly rectified it. Unpresentable!!!!

It's a legendary place. We found it by chance because the roads in Berlin were not closed for the New Year. We had a wonderful New Year's dinner by the fireplace. The atmosphere and the employees are very nice people. Thank you for everything💐🫶

An experience worth having! In a nice atmosphere you will find a German restaurant where you can eat really well, the staff is really kind and helpful, just be careful that the kitchen closes at 9pm you have to get there early! With my family we returned to eat twice because it's really worth it! For the little ones they have excellent quality breaded meat and chips. You absolutely must try the Stinco, it's excellent! Really good food and honest prices! We will definitely return next time we pass through Berlin.

Great service with good local German dishes. I would recommend the original schnitzel with fried potatoes. Inside is warm and with seating close to a fireplace. In summer the outdoors seating must be nice.
