A wonderful discovery of this typical restaurant. Great atmosphere, excellent food and impeccable service 👍 I highly recommend it. And I fell in love with the lovely smile when we were welcomed 🙂

We were there for an after-work drink. The beer was excellent. The location was special, but the canteen food in the beer garden wasn't that great. The comparatively low prices were noticeable.

Unfortunately, we were here with the company. Shortly after nine, the only food available was currywurst and fries. Ketchup and mayo came from packets, very environmentally friendly. You'd be happy to wait in line for half an hour for that—no. At least there's plenty of space.

I love it in the summer. There's nothing more beautiful than visiting a lovely beer garden in such a beautiful area. The only thing is that the food doesn't seem "spectacular" to me, but it's good. Some dishes are better than others. Occasionally, they have special events worth visiting, such as when they have beer on tap or cultural events. They also have a small children's play area.

Highly recommended when the weather's nice! You have to get your own food and drinks from the beer garden, but everything's hassle-free.

We got currywurst and fries for our kids at the bar in the beer garden. Prices: €4.50 for a small currywurst with sauce and another €5 for a small handful of fries, we think, are excessive. Tip: buying them separately doesn't cost any more, but you get twice as many fries. We saw it ourselves with the person in front of us :(

Friendly beer garden Augustiner Bräu service Self-service: simple but OK

We met for a reunion of Co workers of the last 30 years. My friends are all in their 80s, thus you need to have a bit of patience. Our female server had lots of patience, she was extraordinary nice, repeated everything multiple times and was just super sweet. Food is great but not extraordinary. Great atmosphere. We were indoors as the weather was rainy. Great place to visit with great view on the Bundeskanzleramt.

Great location, good beer, poor food, and almost nonexistent service. In Munich beer gardens, the lines are much shorter and the checkout process is faster. Nuremberg bratwursts were sold out by 8:30 p.m. - "It's just busy today," was the banal comment. Great for a drink in a cozy atmosphere, but don't plan on eating.

Was there again today and it was perfect, the food was really good, I had a knuckle of pork and it was really tasty but they could have added a bit more to the dumplings

The food in the self-service area is terrible, fries are cold and hard! The atmosphere is good, but that doesn't make up for it! Best to just have beer or go straight to the restaurant!

We visited this place on the weekend and the experience was really delightful. The place is decorated like a traditional German restaurant. They serve awesome beers and their seasonal menu (we went for Spargel) was absolutely delicious. Highly recommended.

Beautiful beer garden and rustic restaurant on the banks of the Spree and the Chancellery

They were broadcasting the DFB Cup final and were dubbed a beer garden by VfB Stuttgart. There were two televisions for a huge crowd. Absolutely outrageous. The beer was cold, so it gets a star.

Very local and delicious restaurant. It was pretty close to central station and intercity hotel. We were lucky to just attend it without booking in advance. Food and beers were really good, so the atmosphere and service.

Recommended for a pleasant chat with friends and colleagues. Beautiful view right on the Spree. Cover your glasses in the beer garden when it's windy, otherwise you'll end up with blossoms in your beer 😉.

A piece of Bavaria in Berlin. To be precise, there are three restaurants in one location: the beer garden, the Augustinerkeller, and the restaurant. We visited the restaurant. The drinks came super quickly, and the food was served promptly. The selection of dishes could be larger, but the prices are reasonable! The atmosphere is very pleasant. It's worth a visit!

On the Spree with a view of the Chancellery. There's no better location. Some employees should take a beer-tapping course. Still, good beer and always cool events.

The food was wonderful, and the atmosphere outside was too. It was louder inside, but within reason. As for the service, however, you had to take care of the payment (and everything else outside) yourself. Over the course of the evening, the unfriendly and inflexible service was a topic of discussion several times. While I noticed some quick-witted and friendly service outside, we were rudely thrown out inside because the time wasn't quite the same as the table reservation. Later, the last colleague reported an argument while paying—I think it was about a lack of change. I'll probably avoid the place in the future because, with prices starting at around €20 for food and €5.40 for wheat beer, I simply don't want to leave with the feeling that it would have been a more positive experience if the guest had taken care of everything themselves, with virtually no communication with the staff.

Cozy beer garden with a very pleasant atmosphere and beautiful views of the government district. Just a 5-minute walk from the main train station.

We had some currywurst with pommes and a pretzl and some beers. It was cold and rainy, but this place is probably totally fantastic when the weather is nice.

We were there as a small group of nine people. The terrace is fantastic; you immediately feel at home. The food was fantastic (a large snack for two people). The staff is friendly, quick, and in the mood for a little joke. Thank you for the wonderful time.

Zollpackhof is a great restaurant in Berlin, located on the Spree River. It serves delicious German and Austrian dishes such as Wiener Schnitzel and pork knuckle. The beer garden in the summer is a great place to relax with a beer. The atmosphere is cozy and the service is professional. I recommend it!

Excellent restaurant with generous portions and a beer garden right on the river Spree.

Disappointment. There is a big gap between the elegance appearance of the restaurant and the dishes we received. Felt like a cheap tourist restaurant.

I like to stop in the beer garden on my bike tours to rest and recharge my batteries. The prices are of course reasonable for a beer garden, but given the location that's no wonder.

The food was really highly recommended and freshly made (definitely not ready-made!), the service was very quick and friendly. The ambience is also very nice and the price is completely reasonable. Clear recommendation!

You have to like the volume and the ambience. Service friendly but sometimes chaotic. You had to ask twice for everything. Some food was not fully delivered. “Original Wiener Schnitzel” from the deep fryer. Oh well

With such beautiful weather we had, this was just the thing! Cold drinks and warm food, blue skies and endless sun, funny table neighbors and the perfect atmosphere. You feel good there...✨️

Lovely place, waiters are attentive and the food very nice. The portions are big. We ate around 14h00 and did not have to eat diner!

The prices are no longer in proportion to the quality. A currywurst €4.50, a vegan currywurst €6.50? Fries drowned in paprika powder. An Aperol Spritz from the tap not even with a slice of orange for €8.50. Dirty glasses and dirty tables everywhere. It's a shame - great location, but food and cleanliness used to be better for the prices!

We were allowed the last table on the terrace. It was very busy. We had to wait a long time for the (cold) starter. Ordering drinks also took a long time. Everyone did their best, the crowds were in control... food was excellent.

Unfortunately a very disappointing experience. The staff was friendly, but the service overall was pretty chaotic. At the beginning the wrong food was brought - instead of the pretzel we ordered, an Obazda with pretzel came. I thought, no problem, and started to eat, but the food was then literally taken away from me with a curt apology. Unfortunately, the cheese spaetzle had a very neutral taste, and the fried onions had a rubbery consistency - definitely not the best thing I've eaten so far. At the end they tried to collect 20 euros more without showing the bill. Only when asked was the explanation given that they had accidentally wanted to charge another table - even if the waiter apologized, that left a very bad impression. Overall, unfortunately not a recommendation - it was a very negative experience for us.

5 Euros for a sausage, turns out it tastes absolutly rotten, quite apparently left over from days before...Outrageous!...

Very nice excursion restaurant, view of the water, friendly staff, traditional cuisine, price-wise, not a bargain, but reasonable, you can watch the excursion boats.

The Zollpackhof in Berlin impresses with its very cozy atmosphere and fantastic food. The pork knuckle with dumplings and sauerkraut was excellent, and the starter was also really tasty - we just overestimated the quantity a bit. The service was mixed: Some employees were very attentive, especially between the starter and the main course and at the end of our visit. However, we had to wait a bit long for smaller orders such as espresso or drinks, even though the restaurant was not full. Overall, a really nice visit and we would definitely come back!

Super nice location, next to the river overlooking the government district. Proper German/Bavarian food in the restaurant and nice and easy Biergarten snacks in the Biergarten. If you are in Mitte and want to try German food, check this place.

We came at 21:25 and they refused to serve us telling the kitchen is already closed

Unfortunately we couldn't taste the food because they closed the kitchen before the time shown on google maps. We also tried to call them to reserve/order the food in advance but no one picked up the phone

Was there again after a long time, had a place on the terrace, as I remembered, the reception was very friendly and warm, and the service was very friendly, warm and attentive. The ingredients in the dishes are of very good quality, which of course makes the dishes taste very tasty. Definitely a 10/10, everything is tip top

Beer garden only: Nicely located opposite the Chancellery. Self service. The friendliness of the staff is limited - as is the quality of the food. Not good tavern cuisine. It is remarkable that the food that you bring to the table is almost lukewarm in your mouth.

Not really for eating. The garden is beautiful, the people are friendly and very quick. Here it starts, hectic for no reason, beer is being poured like a professional but it's not pleasant how it's going. Assembly line atmosphere. Visually, so do the workers. Cashier is again very friendly. Practically everyone can prepare food better themselves, fries like cardboard sticks, suckling pig tasty but cold. Better just go have a beer and enjoy the pleasant place.

The terrace, as beautiful as it is, was so bad and overwhelmed by the staff. Drinks were forgotten, the roast was remade twice and still couldn't get it medium rare, the service manager was totally overwhelmed and then snotty and arrogant, flippantly portrayed herself. Tenor, not a cent tip and we (8 people) NEVER AGAIN

The sausages I had before all had that pig smell, but this one didn't and was very tender and fragrant; The accompanying fries are also delicious. Service was really great, but the asparagus soup combined with orange unfortunately didn't work at all. Inedible! Had to return them all. I had already tried a good, normal asparagus soup here.

It's always nice to drink a good Bavarian beer in the middle of Berlin. 04/25: The food offering in the self-service has decreased. To eat, only use cake forks and no napkins. At least the beer still tastes good.

We had a wonderful evening at the Zollpackhof! Stable schnitzels, delicious beer and, above all, outstanding service, from the waitress to the restaurant management. Matty in particular was legendary and impressed with particularly good customer service!! Thank you, see you next time!

The waitress Nadine was very rude and demanded my tip. I waited 20 minutes for a beer which came half full, just foam. I won't be back!!!

Do you have to go to a Bavarian restaurant in Berlin? Nope. But it's still great and was also recommended by the hotel reception (-thanks). The waiter had a seat in front of the counter. The table is large, but perfect for watching the hustle and bustle of the guests. Class. Rustic cellar, in summer with a beer garden and a view of the government district. Augustiner Hell delicious, noble even better. Tasty potato soup to start with, the “Satte Hannes” - fried potatoes with bacon and organic fried eggs - ensure that after a strenuous day you have the good feeling of having visited the right restaurant. Test!

We were there in April 2024. Food was good and the service was very friendly! In terms of ambience, we found it a bit too open. But you can definitely go there.
