Beautiful beer garden just a stone's throw from the main train station and Reichstag. There is Augustiner beer and Bavarian dishes. Not exactly cheap, but at least good.

Food was good actually. And they served quite fast. The first check was wrong, but the waiter himself saw it and gave me the correct check. And they have both German and English menus.

The food was not particularly special but good. This is a bit of a destination restaurant. We enjoyed our meal. Our guests were happy. End of story.

Unfortunately the food has deteriorated considerably

We ate very well, a knuckle to share between two on the terrace and 2 huge, half-liter beers (we were told they were the "smallest". All for 25 euros, it seemed like a very reasonable price for being in the center of Berlin . Everything was very good, the waiters were very friendly. It must be said that we ate on the terrace, therefore it is "Self-service"

The main area was absolutely noisy. Discussing something with someone in peace is not possible. The area with the banks of the Spree is interesting. However, the cuboid architecture of the surrounding office buildings and hotels is very ugly.

Great place! I arrived at 21:40, when the kitchen was already closed. The manager kindly offered to go to the kindergarten. It turned out that there are 2 gardens behind this restaurant. One on the right: quiet, with 20-30 seats. On the left is a real German Beer Garden (Biergarten), for 100-150 people. Under the branches of a luxurious chestnut tree. On the street, the menu is limited, but the beer list is presented in full. Amazing atmosphere of a German beer garden. There is always enough space for everyone. I highly recommend the evening veranda of the restaurant to feel the spirit of evening Germany)

We had lunch at the self-service restaurant in the garden, a very beautiful place on the river bank and with a view of the Reichstag, a shame about the shocking service, the waiter rolling his eyes and snorting because he was undecided on what to order, we were the only ones, there was no queue and we he scolded because we didn't place a single order but each of the three ordered what they wanted to eat. The potato with sauce is good, the rest is unmemorable.

Staff was great! 10 minutes wait for the knuckle. Then it's ready and I have to wait another 10 minutes for the dumpling with my cold knuckle.

The food was really delicious, but what made the evening perfect was the beautiful ambience and the charming waitress Tatjana. The restaurant's furnishings are tasteful and invite you to linger, which immediately creates a pleasant atmosphere. Tatjana rounded off our experience with her warm and attentive manner and made us feel particularly welcome. The combination of delicious food, stylish ambience and great service will definitely make us come back. Thank you for this wonderful evening!

The two of us were at the Zollpackhof on a Saturday evening without registering. We were welcomed very friendly and seated outside on the terrace. We felt very welcome. The ambience inside and outside really appealed to us. Very clean and well maintained. The food and drinks are of very good quality. The prices are reasonable for the quality. We would like to emphasize the very good service from the employees (which is no longer common these days). Keep it up. We will definitely come back 😉.

A nice atmosphere, the waiter - a young man - was very friendly. I ordered Leberkäs with fried eggs. When it was served I suspected from looking at the fried potatoes that they weren't tasty. And that's exactly how it was, they were soggy, tasteless and unsightly. I asked the young waiter at my table for a roll, which he immediately brought to me. Another waiter came to pay the bill and saw all the fried potatoes on the plate and seriously tried to convince me that the fried potatoes were completely fresh and that the customers wanted them exactly that way. I could only laugh at that. How could he even try to call these fried potatoes fresh. That alone was an outrage. I would like to see the customers who like these fried potatoes so much.

Only here can you eat ORIGINAL Wiener Schnitzel in Berlin!! We have been guests at Zollpackhof for years, always happy and highly recommended, great atmosphere both inside and outside on the terrace! And definitely worth mentioning is the great, courteous, very nice Service!

Huge beer garden and event location with Bavarian and Austrian food

A great Bavarian beer garden located in the middle of the government district on the Spree. Under a huge chestnut tree there is a good Augustiner and authentic Bavarian delicacies.

Location very nice in summer. Unfortunately, the selection in the beer garden is very poor, poor and overpriced. Then just get something to drink!

Nice location, fast service. We were there for a company event. There was grilled meat and salad. Unfortunately, both are not particularly high quality. However, the beer garden is great and the prices are fair.

We went to the restaurant section, which offers beer garden dishes but on the upper terrace and with service. Except that the cuisine is correct but nothing more, just for a much higher price than what we have tried elsewhere in Berlin in the same category. And the service was disorganized and not at all pleasant, it ruined our meal a little. Maybe things are better in the Biergarten section, where we are also closer to the Spree. In all this I do not recommend the restaurant.

Great traditional Bier Keller and restaurant, great food and beer well worth a visit

This beautifull period building, preserved and resqued many years ago. Eloquent and classy. I loved its architecture. But it is a restaurant so lets talk food. As a visitor of Berlin a few locals recommended this location as the onky City centre kitchen that cooks a REAL GENUINE SCHNITZEL. (not pork, beef as is the true tradition?) So I asked for a Calf meat schnitzel. It was huge, thin, coated in breadcrumb style batter. Well done but not cooked until firm, tender and tasty it came with a bowl of a potatoe salad and creams. My only meal and one standard local beer. I, squeezed the lemon all over (like we do with fish and chips in england lol) Delicious and well cooked I enjoyed it very much. 5 mins walk into Mitte. Great spot to eat. Was a 10 for me 👍😍

The location itself is well located, beer garden atmosphere, but also very loud. The food was totally overpriced, even though it was just slapped on the plate. At the weekend we had Leberkäse: 1 plate with a cuboid piece of Leberkäse placed on it, rolls and a bag of mustard were in the self-service...that was it! We've never been served a Leberkäse roll in such a careless way. 2 beers 🍺 and 2 meat loaf 27 EU...proud price for low quality. However, we have already been there and had tarte flambée, which was incredibly delicious!!! However, we didn't know until 3 p.m. on Saturday.

2024-08-01. A very strong 4 gets this lunch visit. A very large and beautiful place with a nice biergarten. Beautifully located by the river, close to the train station and with large chestnut trees and terrace. We were greeted kindly in the restaurant by friendly staff. The food tasted very good and was a substantial portion. There were two of us who had lunch and together paid 580 Swedish kronor, which is reasonable for what it costs in general in the center of Berlin. The meat was tender and tasty, the dumpling was somewhat tasteless and doughy in a way that no other restaurant's dumpling usually is. I would also have liked more sauce ratio to how much food was on the plate, it ran out quickly. But overall this was a very nice place that I would love to visit again.

Just ate a bratwurst with a roll, beautiful garden with a huge chestnut tree, unfortunately there was no Berliner Weisse and the food queue turned into a drinks queue with a waiting time so that the food got cold again

There is a beautiful beer garden there, with beautiful large chestnut trees and right on the Spree. There is self-service there, which is actually good. But there were hardly any cups of coffee and unfortunately the sugar was hard. Unfortunately there were only two types of cake to choose from. It's a shame because it is/could be a little gold mine because of the location!

I've had a delicious meal there twice so far. Indoors in front of a wonderful fireplace in winter and on the terrace in summer. Prices are very pleasant for Berlin. A reservation is usually unavoidable.

Excellent service and beautiful ambience. We sat under old oak trees at the top of the terrace in wonderful weather. The food is highly recommended. My salad was excellent. Totally fresh. Various types of salad with chicken strips and yogurt dressing. We were a small group and everyone loved it. We want to come back. It's just really cozy there with professional service.

Not bad. My husband and I were here on the day of the World Cup. The atmosphere on the street was aimed at football fans, there were large screens. We only took beer on tap. The beer is excellent, even 0.5l was enough for us. We'll come back here again for good beer.

Very nice beer garden right on the Spree

There is the restaurant with an entrance on the side facing away from the Spree. Here you are seated and the menu shows dishes from your own kitchen starting at around €25. That's normal these days. The restaurant offers a veranda that can only be accessed through the restaurant. In summer it's lovely to sit under white umbrellas with a view of the beer garden below and the Spree. If you make a reservation, if the weather forecast says rain in the morning, you will sit in the restaurant and the veranda will remain closed. When good weather is forecast, the veranda is open. We sat with 4 people in the beer garden. There is self-service for food (right entrance) and drinks (left entrance). You can also order food and then go left to the drinks. The toilets for the beer garden are at the end of the garden towards the main train station, around the corner on the right and down a flight of stairs. There is a donation plate here. The toilets are clean and tidy in the early evening. As the evening progresses, the line of people to get food and/or drink grows. Payment is then made at the separate checkout, card payments are permitted. The ambience under the chestnut trees is beautiful. Occasionally a musician sits in front of the hedge, plays music and comes to the tables to make a donation. You can also order tables in the beer garden outside, e.g. B. for an after-workshop party. There is Augustiner Bräu, very tasty and non-alcoholic, as well as lemonade in self-service refrigerators. Everything looks very well organized. You only have to expect queues for replenishment because, unlike in Munich, no one takes and delivers the follow-up order. But the empty dishes and glasses are picked up.

In high summer temperatures, it's great to sit on the terrace under an ancient chestnut tree.

Well, of course the beer garden was full, the food was so bad, the kitchen staff was unmotivated, but that's understandable given the crowd that's going on there. Next time I'll go to the restaurant again

We had 3 waitresses and everyone was extremely nice and accommodating. The food was very tasty and the location by the water and with all the greenery was simply perfect for a beer garden.

The bratwurst is not recommended. 4 € and the roll is 0.80 cents extra. Sausage lukewarm and like it came from the pan. You don't need it!!

In the beer garden the offer/selection is very much reduced...the 🍺 beer is still ok as always.

The best Munich beer garden is… in Berlin. Peaceful location for a (Augustiner) beer garden, next to the Spree, excellent food and service in the restaurant, relaxed atmosphere in the beer garden. The people of Munich dream of a place like this.

Drinks were ok. Food was old and dry. Not what you expect. Toilet no toilet paper and no towels, but then charge accordingly. Rather sad and touristy. Anyone who likes to be taken advantage of is welcome, but without flair and charm it's not a real beer garden experience.
