Sehr schönes Speiserestaurant mit wirklich leckeren Spezialitäten und guten Wein. Sehr zu empfehlen. Personal war super freundlich und lustig.

Wir waren gestern wieder einmal im Restaurant Zipf. Sogar ohne Reservierung konnten, wir noch kurz bevor die Küche schloss, einen Platz bekommen. Das Essen war, wie immer, super lecker!! Auch der Service sehr zuvorkommend, kompetent und sehr nett. Wir waren schon öfter, auch mit unseren Freunden undFamilie und alle sind und waren begeistert ! Wir können das Restaurant auf jeden Fall weiter empfehlen!!

Es gibt nur ein einziges passendes Wort: Umwerfend. Meine spontane Entscheidung, hier zu essen, war genau richtig. Neben fachlich geschultem, äußerst freundlichen und lockeren Personal fand ich gehobene Küche in der Nähe vom Sterneniveau. Selten findet man alle Einzelzutaten derart stimmig abgeschmeckt und noch dazu absolut passend zusammengestellt. Mein selbst ausgesuchtes Vier-Gang-Menü war, auch von der Ware her, von herausragender Qualität, es gab nicht ein einziges zu kritisierendes Detail. Schade, dass man aus Köln nicht "mal eben" hierherkommen kann.

Es waren drei fantastische Tage; schon beim Empfang begleitete uns Frau Zipf persönlich auf unser Zimmer im neuen Gästehaus. Das Zimmer war sehr geräumig und gemütlich; größer als viele Wohnungen. Das Restaurant war fantastisch: sehr raffinierte und exquisite Küche. Der Service war ausgezeichnet. Meiner Meinung nach sollte die Rotweinkarte noch den einen oder anderen Wein mehr enthalten. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder.

Am Ende der Altstadt. Sehr schönes Ambiente und Top-Service. Kleiner schöner Außenbereich. Das Essen ist 1.Liga von Portion, Qualität, Geschmack und Präsentation. Man traut sich auch mal was: Spargel im Dessert, etc. Leider gibt es nur einen vegetarischen Hauptgang, obwohl die Küche es voll drauf hat. Sehr gutes Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis.

Liebe Familie Zipf, wir waren anlässlich unseres Hochzeitstages bei Ihnen zum Mittagessen. Wir haben wieder mehrere Gänge gegessen, u.a. das Spargelsüppchen, Schweinebäckchen mit Spargelgemüse, Schollenfilet, Kümmelbraten, Ziegenkäse mit Feigensenf, Panacotta mit karamellisiertem Spargel. Geschmacklich , wie immer, alles auf höchstem Niveau undxdehr fein abgeschmeckt. Die frische der hochwertigen Zutaten hat man deutlich geschmeckt. Alle Gerichte sehr ansprechend serviert. Der Service maximal aufmerksam und sehr freundlich. Dieses Restaurant sticht in der Region durch sein hohes Niveau an Qualität, Service und Ambiente deutlich hervor und ist für einen Besuch sehr zu empfehlen. Wir waren heute am Ostersamstag hier zum Essen und hatten uns für die Fischvariationen entschieden und es war super lecker und konnte noch vom Nachtisch mit der Schockoladenvielfalt getoppt werden. Außerdem war der Service phantastisch! Danke nochmals. Es war so lecker, dass es gar nicht mehr für ein Foto gereicht hat...

Wieder Mal einfach ein wunderschöner Abend mit leckerem Essen. Super Service! Es passt einfach alles hier

Auf der Suche nach einem guten Abendessen bin ich heute Abend dort zufällig eingekehrt. Das Cordon bleu war eines der besten die ich bisher gegessen habe. Die Mitarbeiterinnen des Service waren außerordentlich aufmerksam und sehr nett.

Also, wo soll ich anfangen.... Zuerst mal hatten wir per Mail reserviert und sogar nochmal angerufen um dort mit 6 Personen ein Frühstücksbuffett zu genießen. Angekommen, keine Reservierung vorhanden. Kommunikation zwischen Hotel und Café nicht vorhanden. Die Dame vom Frühstücksservice war super nett und hat sich mehrmals entschuldigt. Das sind die Sterne wert. Chef war dann vor Ort, keine Entschuldigung, leider. Für ~20 Euro gibt es kleine Aufbackbrötchen, waren ok. Keinen richtigen Saft, Filterkaffee war gut. Kein Cappuccino oder so. Buffet war recht übersichtlich und für das Geld...., naja. Ich glaube nicht, dass wir das wiederholen werden. Schade eigentlich, denn das Hotel hat eigentlich einen guten Namen.

Sehr gut und das Abendessen ein Traum. Und der Hund dürfte überall dabei sein, was mir noch zusätzlich gefallen hat.

Super Essen, aufmerksamer Service, tolles Ambiente ... wir fahren gerne 100 km einfach, um hier zu essen. Auch die Zimmer und das Frühstück sind sehr gut.

Wir waren heute anlässlich eines besonderen Tages hier zum Essen. Der Tisch war dem Anlass entsprechend sehr schön gestaltet. Das Essen war wie immer hervorragend. Der Service herzlich und freundlich. Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis ist absolut in Ordnung. Nicht nur an besonderen Tagen sehr empfehlenswert. Danke nochmals an die Küche.

Wir waren hier heute, nach dem Besuch bei St. Kilian, spontan zum Abendessen und wir waren begeistert. Freundlichkeit, sehr guter Service und vor allem auch Herzlichkeit und Gastlichkeit. Nicht: Kunde droht mit Auftrag... Leider auch schon viel zu oft erlebt. Und: Hervorragendes Essen zu fairen Preisen. (Foto dient nur der Aufmerksamkeit. 😉)

Nie wieder! - An Unfreundlichkeit nicht zu überbieten (die ältere Dame mit den kurzen Haaren). Wir bekamen einen Tisch direkt an der offenen Tür zur Küche zugewiesen mit Blick auf eine Vorkammer, die nicht grad zum sonst recht festlichen Ambiente passt; es gab Geschepper und emsiges Rein- und Raus durch das Servicepersonal ... Und da wir die ersten Gäste waren im nahezu noch leeren Lokal, erlaubten wir uns die freundliche Nachfrage, ob wir uns noch umsetzen können. Daraufhin wurden wir angeblafft mit den knappen Worten: Nein, hier wird gearbeitet! - Glücklicherweise hat uns eine andere, freundliche junge Dame bedient, sonst wären wir wohl gleich gegangen. Frohe Weihnachten!

Wir waren nur zum Essen da, das hat sich aber gelohnt...

Wir haben dort übernachtet und auch im Restaurant gegessen. Alles war perfekt ❤️ Das Zimmer war sehr groß und neu, und das Badezimmer war blitzsauber. Mein Mann und ich haben dort zu Abend gegessen, und das Essen war köstlich! Das Beef Tatar mit gegrillten Garnelen war wirklich spektakulär. Wir waren begeistert. Ich habe darum gebeten, meine Beilage von Risotto auf Nudeln zu ändern, was überhaupt kein Problem war. Mein Fisch war perfekt gegrillt mit knuspriger Haut. Das Restaurant ist gemütlich, und der Service war hervorragend. Absolut empfehlenswert, und wir kommen ganz sicher wieder!

Essen ist sehr lecker kommen jedes Jahr mindestens 2 mal hier her.

Sehr gute Küche mit fantasievollen Creationen. Wir hatten in Whiskey gebeizte Lachsforelle und Hirsch-Bolognese. Sehr netter Service (wir waren mit Hund willkommen) und haben uns sofort wohlgefühlt.

We stayed at the hotel for five days. The rooms, service, and food were excellent. Only the breakfast could have been a bit more varied. If the opportunity arises, we would gladly return.

We ate here and were absolutely thrilled! We rarely eat meat, and when we do, it's best to have something truly good and special. This was more than fulfilled here: the quality, the selection of dishes, and the presentation were simply top-notch. The inn is very cozy, and the service is down-to-earth and heartfelt. Our dog was also very welcome. Thank you so much! We'll be happy to come back on our next trip to Miltenberg. A quick tip: be sure to make a reservation well in advance!

Cool looking place, but reservation absolutely required, even if there is plenty of seating outside during beautiful weather. Disappointing.

After the positive experience we had during a "trial overnight stay" in January, we recently spent our annual meeting weekend with nine people at the Gasthof Zipf. The rooms were very spacious and well-equipped. The breakfast was very plentiful and good. For dinner, we had very friendly and attentive service, and the food was consistently delicious. The price/performance ratio is also good, so we definitely recommend it!

We were at this restaurant today and asked if there were two free seats - the answer was a curt "No." Or, more politely, to say that everything is reserved. Not very friendly - unfortunately.

Seasonally unique decor and great attention to detail. Excellent cuisine – regional, fresh, modern, and down-to-earth in perfect harmony. The varied menu caters to every palate. A superb drinks list with fantastic wines. Equally outstanding service, which always expertly accommodates special requests in coordination with the kitchen. Experienced, unobtrusive, and always super friendly and welcoming. We've been coming back for many years – highly recommended!

The restaurant was recommended by our friends who live in Miltenberg. It was the best restaurant of our vacation in Germany. The dishes are delicious and the service is very friendly and efficient.

Super nice hotel right in the city center!

We stayed at the Zipf Wine and Inn this weekend from Saturday to Sunday. We traveled to Miltenberg by bike. We had barely arrived at the inn when a very friendly waitress invited us in with our bikes. We were given a great place to store our bikes in the inn and were easily checked into the hotel (Zippf Wine and Inn). The room, or in our case, a studio with a dining room, living room, and bedroom, was fantastic. Beautifully furnished with wooden furniture in a light Black Forest style. The subsequent meal in the wine bar was also a highlight. We had boiled beef and ox cheeks. Highly recommended. Today's breakfast and service were fantastic. The waitress was super friendly and approachable, and was able to fulfill all our wishes. If we come to Miltenberg again, we will definitely stay at the accommodation again.

The food is very good, but there's no flexibility when it comes to changing side dishes. Is this because of workflows?

Everything was excellent: the staff, the rooms, and the delicious food. It's also worth mentioning that you can order smaller portions of some dishes.

Service that would have you running away from it – which is what we did instead of lowering ourselves to this pathetic level. Please urgently label this restaurant as "Karen's Diner" / "Dick's Last Resort," otherwise the concept will continue to be misunderstood. :) [EDIT:] The question about a free table was not answered with a polite reminder that I would have to ask a colleague first, but with a snappy, "How am I supposed to know?!" A subtle difference. So feel free to spare your infantile sarcasm at this point, but it does logically continue the experience...

A truly wonderful ambiance, incredibly cozy, with great rooms and everything lovingly decorated. The food is truly delicious and beautifully presented. The staff is very friendly, and the breakfast is simply fantastic.

We discovered it while visiting Mildenberg and immediately made a reservation for the evening. The outdoor ambiance under the vines was fantastic. The service was excellent and friendly. The food was excellent; everything was perfect and very tasty. We can recommend this restaurant without reservation.

We felt well looked after from the very first moment, and even technical glitches were promptly resolved by the friendly and courteous staff. The food is also highly recommended for its value for money. The rooms were very spacious and quiet. All in all, I would definitely book this hotel again if I were to stay in Miltenberg.

We had breakfast at the café, where you can find much better options, and the service was not particularly friendly. The restaurant was very good; everything tasted excellent.

We spontaneously stopped here for lunch this afternoon and absolutely loved it. The service staff organized a table for us straight away and served us in a very friendly manner. The atmosphere was very pleasant and we felt welcome. Food and drinks were served quickly, including a really tasty greeting from the kitchen. We ordered ox cheeks and caraway roast and were absolutely satisfied with both dishes. As a side dish, both dishes had bread dumplings, which were really sensationally delicious. I find the price/performance ratio to be reasonable. I can definitely recommend the restaurant.

Rustic inn and very good cuisine. Went there with the family and everyone really enjoyed the food. Service very friendly and on the ball. There are no parking spaces available as the inn is in the center of Miltenberg. The parking lot on the Main is a few minutes' walk away. Still, highly recommended.

To date we have been to the Zipf inn regularly. The service has often been unfriendly, but yesterday I was so speechless that I definitely won't go there again. I had reserved a table and unfortunately forgot to cancel due to a death. I apologized twice on the phone. The service person who called me because I didn't show up only told me that extra people had to be sent away. And twice, despite apologizing. You can hardly react without empathy.

Booked and stopped spontaneously: Despite the fact that all the tables in the restaurant were fully booked that evening, the operators conjured up a place for us. My recommendation: definitely make a reservation! The service is attentive, friendly and familiar. We felt completely comfortable. The kitchen is absolutely recommended. All dishes tasted excellent and were on point. Hotel rooms: rustic with charm. Clean and cozy.

We were invited to a birthday party on October 12th, 2024. The ambience in the restaurant is very appealing. The staff very attentive and friendly. The food was simply WOW from the starter to the wonderful dessert. Very, very tasty, everything was perfect. Definitely a perfect dinner...10 points with a star. We'll be back!!!

We ate there. The food was fresh, totally delicious and I enjoyed the best schnitzel of my life so far. The mushroom sauce was also excellent. My companion's rump steaks were juicy and beautifully garnished. The salad is crunchy and tasty. Price-performance is absolutely in the green area and our expectations were far exceeded.

Very tasty food (the ox cheeks are a dream), staff super nice and friendly. Went there with a small child and the staff really went out of their way for our little one (they prepared a special dish that wasn't on the menu and also brought various toys to the table for the child). We were guests for 1 night with a bicycle group of 4 people. We had to change the date at short notice, which was no problem at all. The rooms were pleasantly large and clean. We were able to store our bikes safely in the house and there were also enough sockets for charging. The whole team was very helpful and courteous in all questions, always with a smile. We ate the ox cheeks and were really very happy with the product. In conclusion: We felt very comfortable here and will definitely come back.

We went there for dinner with a large group (45 people). The booking including the creation of a smaller menu, all emails and phone calls were very friendly and professional. Because of the heat, we arrived with part of the group before the time we had actually booked in order to at least have something to drink. After a brief irritation, we were very kindly allowed entry and we were served nicely. The service on the evening in question was courteous and flexible. The kitchen deserves the greatest praise. All dishes were very well received, were of high quality and extremely tasty. The game pot and the cordon bleu, the pike perch and also the pasta with chanterelles were particularly praised. Overall, this first visit motivates you to come back.

Unfortunately our beer was stale. If asked in a really friendly manner, it would be confirmed that there was no error on the part of the tenon. That was the end of the matter; there was no fresh replacement beer or discount. There was still a tip, but the service was still nice. But unfortunately only two stars.

We were here for the second time because everything worked so well two years ago. Very friendly and courteous service, the ox cheeks were once again a treat, I love it. We will definitely come back again. We also liked the motorcycle routes Brigitte & Volker St.

Excellent cuisine in the evening, very nice service, even at breakfast the next day. The room was spacious and quiet, with luck we got the last one. The beds were fine. Breakfast also includes fresh fruit, warm dishes and fresh cereal.

Unfortunately I can only give 5 stars for the excellent cuisine, at least 7 stars would be appropriate - today's starter was giant prawns with tomato prucetta. If there were a Nobel Prize for cooking, Weinhof Zipf would deserve it. Once again a huge compliment to the kitchen...that was really great 😀

We just went for a drink and that was great! The boss was very nice, the rooms were clean and very lovingly decorated, but my personal highlight was the lady in service, I give it 5 stars just because of her!

If you visit Miltenberg, you must definitely eat here. They welcome me so warmly. It was a perfect place that made us smile for the first time in a long time, and was friendly and welcoming to both us passing tourists and the little guests. There is a small play area for children, and children's meals also have a healthy menu. The main menu, which looked like a work of art, was served on a stylish plate. It's been a while since I've had a traditional German restaurant and it's not just salty food. It looks pretty and the food is so delicious that I am once again impressed. Love for the city of Miltenberg thanks to its restaurants It seems to have gotten bigger. Thank you so much for giving me an unforgettable day!!

The guest rooms in the old half-timbered house have been beautifully and lovingly furnished and make guests feel welcome. The staff is always friendly and has the right answer to every question. Here, too, you feel as a guest that you are welcome. During our 3-day visit we also ate and drank there twice. Also the restaurant “who will guess?” Reflects the common concept “You, dear guest, are warmly welcome”. The food was super delicious and so was the wine from Miltenberg that was served with it. On the second evening I had a rump steak which tasted the same. I ordered it English and received it exactly on point. It was a treat to the last bite. I can only fully recommend the hotel and the restaurant. Table reservations are absolutely important. Because I'm not the only one who has this opinion about this house. Please please stay like this, We will come back in any case.

We stayed in the Riesling room for one night. Room isn't actually the right word, it was almost as big as a small holiday apartment. Two bathrooms, one with a toilet and sink, the other with a huge, great shower and sink. There was enough storage space, cupboards and hooks. The beds were comfortable. The TV was very large and rotatable. There was a bottle of water and two coffee capsules on the house and enough shower gel/shampoo in the shower and at the sinks as well as a hairdryer. We were able to store the bikes securely in the bar (?). The staff were very friendly, helpful and accommodating. Unfortunately, the WiFi password in the folder was incorrect (I forgot to tell the lady this morning at breakfast). So in this way. The breakfast in the Café Bauer opposite was great. The rolls were a bit small, but everything else was perfect. Great fresh fruit that was also refilled, cheese, fruit, pretzels, smaller sweet pieces, vegetables (tomato, cucumber, pepper...), small sausages, boiled and scrambled eggs, Bircher muesli, muesli, yogurt, fruit salad etc. Coffee, Tea, water… We were full and happy afterwards. The lady in the cafe was super nice! Thank you for this great stay.

I don't know exactly where to start here. It was great all around. I have never tasted such delicious cordon bleu as in this restaurant. A large selection of local wines, whiskey and rum (spirits) and first-class service. There was also a relaxed chat about the place and sights. Very sympathic! I recommend making a reservation in good time! 😏😉 a culinary highlight even a year later
