Fantastic location, great hostess and very attentive service team. My starter, chanterelles with herb scrambled eggs, was freshly prepared and seasonal. The pike perch on barley risotto was on point and a great portion. My lactose intolerance was addressed without discussion. Unfortunately our beer was stale. If asked in a really friendly manner, it would be confirmed that there was no error on the part of the tenon. That was the end of the matter; there was no fresh replacement beer or discount. There was still a tip, but the service was still nice. But unfortunately only two stars.

We were here for the second time because everything worked so well two years ago. Very friendly and courteous service, the ox cheeks were once again a treat, I love it. We will definitely come back again. We also liked the motorcycle routes Brigitte & Volker St.

Excellent cuisine in the evening, very nice service, even at breakfast the next day. The room was spacious and quiet, with luck we got the last one. The beds were fine. Breakfast also includes fresh fruit, warm dishes and fresh cereal.

Unfortunately I can only give 5 stars for the excellent cuisine, at least 7 stars would be appropriate - today's starter was giant prawns with tomato prucetta. If there were a Nobel Prize for cooking, Weinhof Zipf would deserve it. Once again a huge compliment to the kitchen...that was really great 😀

We just went for a drink and that was great! The boss was very nice, the rooms were clean and very lovingly decorated, but my personal highlight was the lady in service, I give it 5 stars just because of her!

If you visit Miltenberg, you must definitely eat here. They welcome me so warmly. It was a perfect place that made us smile for the first time in a long time, and was friendly and welcoming to both us passing tourists and the little guests. There is a small play area for children, and children's meals also have a healthy menu. The main menu, which looked like a work of art, was served on a stylish plate. It's been a while since I've had a traditional German restaurant and it's not just salty food. It looks pretty and the food is so delicious that I am once again impressed. Love for the city of Miltenberg thanks to its restaurants It seems to have gotten bigger. Thank you so much for giving me an unforgettable day!!

Very tasty food (the ox cheeks are a dream), staff super nice and friendly. Went there with a small child and the staff really went out of their way for our little one (they prepared a special dish that wasn't on the menu and also brought various toys to the table for the child). The guest rooms in the old half-timbered house have been beautifully and lovingly furnished and make guests feel welcome. The staff is always friendly and has the right answer to every question. Here, too, you feel as a guest that you are welcome. During our 3-day visit we also ate and drank there twice. Also the restaurant “who will guess?” Reflects the common concept “You, dear guest, are warmly welcome”. The food was super delicious and so was the wine from Miltenberg that was served with it. On the second evening I had a rump steak which tasted the same. I ordered it English and received it exactly on point. It was a treat to the last bite. I can only fully recommend the hotel and the restaurant. Table reservations are absolutely important. Because I'm not the only one who has this opinion about this house. Please please stay like this, We will come back in any case.

We stayed in the Riesling room for one night. Room isn't actually the right word, it was almost as big as a small holiday apartment. Two bathrooms, one with a toilet and sink, the other with a huge, great shower and sink. There was enough storage space, cupboards and hooks. The beds were comfortable. The TV was very large and rotatable. There was a bottle of water and two coffee capsules on the house and enough shower gel/shampoo in the shower and at the sinks as well as a hairdryer. We were able to store the bikes securely in the bar (?). The staff were very friendly, helpful and accommodating. Unfortunately, the WiFi password in the folder was incorrect (I forgot to tell the lady this morning at breakfast). So in this way. The breakfast in the Café Bauer opposite was great. The rolls were a bit small, but everything else was perfect. Great fresh fruit that was also refilled, cheese, fruit, pretzels, smaller sweet pieces, vegetables (tomato, cucumber, pepper...), small sausages, boiled and scrambled eggs, Bircher muesli, muesli, yogurt, fruit salad etc. Coffee, Tea, water… We were full and happy afterwards. The lady in the cafe was super nice! Thank you for this great stay.

I don't know exactly where to start here. It was great all around. I have never tasted such delicious cordon bleu as in this restaurant. A large selection of local wines, whiskey and rum (spirits) and first-class service. There was also a relaxed chat about the place and sights. Very sympathic! I recommend making a reservation in good time! 😏😉 a culinary highlight even a year later

When we asked for a place for a quick drink, we felt very rudely turned away - for me it was a "no go" to stop here. .......... In response to the response given in the meantime, I can only recommend trying to “convey this to the guests on site”! At the time of the question some of the 10 tables were free... Who doesn't want to "do business"... So I felt “ripped off” and can only stick to my statement above.😡

Very nice inn with absolutely top service and food

Zipf winery It was our first time at Weinhof Zipf in beautiful Miltenberg. After a warm welcome and escort to our reserved table, we enjoyed a secco with elderflower syrup. This is how a great evening can begin. The menu proved to be a challenge where you couldn't really make your way between everything on offer could decide on delicacies. In the end we made it and had goat cheese gratin as a starter. A very successful creation of taste and consistency - a real treat for the palate. My wife chose the oven-fresh caraway roast and I chose the Black Angus rump steak, with a side dish change that turned out to be a real stroke of luck. The caraway roast was so tender that it could easily have been pulled pork, and the homemade cabbage, bread dumplings and sauce harmonized perfectly. The rump steak was fried pink as requested and was beautifully presented and served sliced ​​once. It should be emphasized that there were no annoying meat juices or anything else dripping all over the plate - a very good thing. Now to one of my highlights - the sweet potato wedges - a dream - in combination with the pepper sauce - I almost didn't need anything else - a real wow moment. The beans were on point and rounded out the overall package. For dessert we chose the special apple strudel with yoghurt ice cream and fresh strawberries and tonka bean panna cotta. All in all, we haven't had such delicious food and such attentive and accommodating hosts in a long time. The overall package just fits here and we will 100% stop by again, even if it's not just around the corner for us. A clear recommendation from me.

We have enjoyed being guests at the Gasthaus Zipf during our stays in Miltenberg for several years. We were really amused by the negative reviews and can't confirm any of them. We always look forward to the excellent food, a good selection of drinks and the lovely atmosphere in the rooms. In addition, you will be offered an absolutely professional and very dedicated service. We always have a lot of fun, especially with Carmen. Looking forward to our next visit with you! This was our second time at Wein- und Gasthof Zipf and we have already booked our third stay. Wonderful rooms, just to feel good. The service is incredible! If something is missing, just ask, everything will be made possible. The food is fantastic and the great staff makes you feel so welcome that you won't want to leave.

Rating of the restaurant: Super cozy and lovingly furnished restaurant and outdoor area. The menu offers wonderful starters, main courses and desserts as well as a very good selection of drinks. The food is excellent, very fresh and at very reasonable prices. The service is super friendly and we felt completely at home. Definitely a MUST on our next visit to Miltenberg :) We're looking forward to it.

Unfortunately, Café Bauer is not a breakfast recommendation. We were visiting Miltenberg and went to Café Bauer for breakfast because it looked inviting from the outside. The concept of offering a self-service breakfast for €18 from the buffet is quite daring, especially since we found a small and almost completely looted buffet, without highlights and many things that would be back “tomorrow morning”. But we had to pay €36 today and will certainly not be there tomorrow morning or in the future…

It's a shame, I got sick and couldn't keep up my stay. When I asked to postpone my stay, I got the very questionable answer that I would have booked through Booking if my wish wasn't possible. Conclusion, 120 euros was simply wasted. I had saved the amount from my mouth, I wouldn't wish that experience on anyone. Continued success with such “sustainable” practices

We stayed here for one night for the Christmas market in Miltenberg and got a beautiful room. Everything was very clean. My extra request for a bouquet of flowers for my wife in the room was also taken into account - great service!!! In the morning there was a delicious breakfast buffet. If we want to stay overnight in Miltenberg again, then definitely at Weinhof Zipf.

Nach langem Suchen einer Tischreservierung für den Abend , hat man uns im Zipfs herzlich empfangen und es noch ermöglicht einen Tisch für 6 nette Reihnländerinnen zu reservieren. Heute waren wir das erste mal in dieser Gaststätte. Ich war schon oft essen, aber dennoch noch nie so gut wie in diesem Lokal, das Essen 10/10 angefangen bei der Vorspeise, aufgehört beim Dessert. Auch der Service ist auf Sterne Niveau. Hier fühlt man sich aufgegeben, wir kommen wieder!!

Wir sind auf einen Wein eingekehrt und saßen im liebevoll gestalteten Außenbereich. Der Wein war lecker, Beratung gut und sehr nett. Wir stehen mit dem Wohnmobil auf dem Stellplatz und kommen gerne wieder.

Auf unserer Radtour sind wir hier eingekehrt und haben hier in der Gaststube gegessen. Das Essen war von hervorragender Qualität, der Service freundlich, effizient und sehr aufmerksam - schade nur, dass wir diesen Genuss und dieses Ambiente nicht öfters genießen können!

Ein wenig abseits der Touristenmassen liegt das Zipf. Innen ist es ganmz nett, der Außenbereich ist etwas dürftig. Das Essen war recht gut, allerdings gut 20% überteuert.

Wir waren inzwischen schon öfter da zum Essen. Es war wieder ganz hervorragend. Eines der besten Steaks meines Lebens! Auf den Punkt gegart und mit hervorragendem Kartoffelstampf. Schade, dass ich es versäumt habe, ein Bild zu machen. Danke auch für den tollen Service! Ach ja, auch das Essen der anderen war von gleicher Güte.

Sehr schönes Lokal mit einen tollen Auswahl an Speisen und Getränke. Ich denke die größte Auswahl von Produkten der St. Kilian Distillers aus Nachbarschaft. Schneller und guter Service, wir kommen gerne wieder.

Vielen Dank für den sehr angenehmen Aufenthalt! Wir haben uns sehr wohl und herzlich bei Ihnen aufgenommen gefühlt. Das Zimmer war ein Traum! Es hatte so viel Charakter und war zudem sehr sauber und gepflegt. Das Badezimmer war ebenfalls wunderschön. Das Bett war unheimlich bequem. Und obwohl sich das Gasthaus mitten im Zentrum befindet war es so ruhig und wir haben richtig gut geschlafen. Wir haben zweimal bei euch zu Abend gegessen und es war einfach phänomenal lecker! Das Frühstück war ebenfalls topp! Alle Angestellten waren immer so freundlich, lieb und zuvorkommend das war so sehr angenehm! Wir danken euch, dass unser Urlaub durch euer Zutun so schön war! Wir werden euch in durchweg positiver Erinnerung behalten und hoffen, dass wir einmal wieder kommen können.

Wir waren zum Mainfest im Gasthof Zipf und es war ein rundum gelungener Aufenthalt! Die Zimmer sind liebevoll und vor allem geschmackvoll gestaltet. Das Essen im Gasthof war fantastisch und insbesondere der Service war hervorragend. Unbedingt weiterzuempfehlen!

Großes Lob an die Küche und vor allem an die Mädels. Nachtrag 2: Sind heute wieder abgereist und haben gestern Mittag zum letzten Mal euer leckeres Essen genießen dürfen. Bei unserem nächsten Aufenthalt in Miltenberg kommen wir sehr gerne wieder zu euch zum Essen. Wir sind die (in Fahrradkleidung) die vom schwarzen Rettich und dessen Beschaffenheit keine Ahnung hatten 😁😆 Viele Grüße

Gemütlich, Personal war freundlich

Das Essen war spitze / frisch zubereitet / sehr gute kreative Gerichte, die es selten so gibt / weiter so . Bedingung ist sehr aufmerksam .

Waren mittwochs unterwegs und hatten echt ein Problem, ohne Reservierung einen Tisch fürs Abendessen zu bekommen. Nach zweimaliger Anfrage klappte es dann doch und wir bekamen einen Tisch im Garten (2 Personen, Ende Juni). Bier war exzellent und die Wildschwein - Bratwürste mit Pfifferlingen und Kartoffelstampf sind eine echte Empfehlung!

Essen Und Trinken in Wohnzimmer-Atmosphäre. Die Speisen und Getränke waren sehr lecker und der Service mehr als aufmerksam. Rundum ein toller Abend.

Staying in Miltenburg for a few days, visited Zipf's for a drink one day and a meal the next. We reserved by telephone, but I think the language barrier got in the way, as our reservation was missing on arrival. Not a problem though as there was planty of tables available. We were greeted in a very friendly manner, and once it was established that our German is NIcht zu gut, the staff spoke slower so we could understand them. All staff were very attentive and interested in the visiting English people. As is the case in most houses in Miltenburg, Faust, the local brew was offered, and the price was really good. The menu had a small but good selection of traditional meals and the prices very reasonable. We chose the Bratwurste vam Wildswein and Turkey Breast Salad Plate. The Bratwurst was really good quality and the Stampf among the best I have had. We were even served a complimentary appetitanreger made from tomato and served with excellent bread.. The food was excellent. We will return one day.

Der Service hat uns sehr gut gefallen und er war offen und hat uns sofort ein Wohlfühlgefühl vermittelt . Wir hatten einen von der Tageskarte her ein Aperitif mit Holunderblüten der wird dich zu empfehlen ist. Das Essen war sehr gut wir. Wir hatten Cordon bleu ein Risotto an Zander ein gemischten Salat und es war alles so wie man es sich wünscht. Wir waren sicherlich nicht das letzte Mal da

Zum Abendessen unter freiem Himmel bei schönem Wetter. Und wenn das Essen da noch passt, super! Meine Nachfrage nach scharfer Meereetich-Soße zur sehr zarten Ochsenbrust wurde hervorragend gelöst, der Zander meines Frau war auch bestens. Das einzige Manko (wir saßen direkt hinter dem Garteneingang, war eine Aschenbecher, der nie gellert wurd. Den haben die Gäste genutzt, wenn Sie nach dem Rauchen auf der Straße ihre Zigarettenentsorgten. Das gibt es noch Verbesserungpotential!

Atmosphäre: Dezent-elegant mit hübschem Interieur. Leicht britisch durch die Holz- und Wanddekoration Essen: Regionale Speisen, die wirklich lecker zubereitet wurden. Ich hatte die Bratwürste vom heimischen Wildschwein. V.a. der Kartoffelstampf war eine sehr angenehme Überraschung. So etwas kannte ich nur aus schottischen Highland-Pubs (Naps&Tatties). Da ich kein Dessert probiert habe, werde ich gerne noch einmal kommen....

Wir verbanden einen privaten Anlass mit einem Ausflug nach Miltenberg. Bereits im Vorfeld entschieden wir uns für eine neuerliche Einkehr im "Weinhof Zipf". Was wir bekamen, das war erneut Gastronomie von ihrer wirklich tollen Seite. Hygiene-Konzept vorbildlich, das Personal weiterhin den Gästen zugewandt - und die Speisekarte solide und überschaubar, was für Frische spricht. Mir war heute nach etwas Rustikalem. Ich wählte den Kümmelbraten, für dessen Verzehr ich kein Messer benötigt hätte, so zart war der durch. Dämpfkraut und leckere Semmelknödel, die nicht vom Lieferanten kamen, sowie eine stimmige Soße rundeten den Genuss ab. Meine Gattin hatte das "Försterin"-Schnitzel mit Pfifferlingen und geschabten Spätzle aus der eigenen Küche. Auf Neudeutsch: So muss Küche! Und der Wertmutstropfen? Miltenberg sind leider 45 Fahrtminuten für uns. Aber die werden uns vom nächsten Besuch nicht abhalten. Wir freuen uns bereits darauf.

Ja, preislich hebt es sich etwas ab, aber die Qualität des Gebotenen und der freundliche Service sind es wert. Wir wurden auf der Terrasse sehr zuvorkommend bedient. Die Wildschweinleber als Vorspeise war so ziemlich das beste, was ich in der letzten Zeit gegessen habe. Die Steakhüfze vom Rind war á point gegart. Leider vermisste ich hier ein wenig mehr Kernigkeit an der Sauce. Aber das ist Gejammer auf hohem Niveau. Die lokale Weinauswahl ist auch auf gutem Niveau.

Das Essen ist sehr gut - zu gehobenem Preis, aber sehr gut. Allerdings sind die Öffnungszeiten sehr mit Vorsicht zu genießen, gerne steht man vor verschlossener Tür, obwohl noch geöffnet sein sollte. Wir waren an einem Donnerstag Abend dort und wollten um 20:40 Uhr noch etwas zu essen - und wurden von der ohnehin nicht sonderlich freundlichen Bedienung mit den Worten abgewiesen "Die Küche hat schon zu. Wir haben uns überlegt heute früher zu zu machen" - ca. 1 Stunde vor offiziellem Küchenschluss (Webseite und Visitenkarte loben Küche bis 21:30 Uhr aus) - und in der Küche standen auch noch mindestens 5 Leute und haben sich unterhalten. Wir sind dann weiter zum Hotel Reichsadler, wo man uns um 21:15 Uhr dann noch freundlich und anstandslos bedient hat (Küchenschluss ebenfalls um 21:30) Wer so mit seinen Kunden umgeht sollte sich folgendes überlegen: Die Öffnungszeiten bis 21:30 Uhr können getrost komplett gestrichen werden - niemand wird ernsthaft versuchen, nach 20 Uhr noch zum Restaurant zu fahren, mit dem Risiko vor einer geschlossenen Küche zu stehen. Alle die später essen wollen, werden sich nach einem solchen Erlebnis lieber gleich nach einer Alternative umschauen - und dem eigentlich guten Restaurant gehen eine Menge Kunden verloren. So war der Reichsadler noch voll besetzt, während bei Zipf's die Wirtschaft schon recht leer war. Ich habe eine Idee warum das so ist...
