Very friendly staff, good and reasonably priced food. Worth a visit even if you're coming from a short distance.

I should really give two 5-star reviews. Firstly, for Restaurant Ziegler, for the truly delicious food. Secondly, for Pension Ziegler, for the wonderful room and the tasty breakfast. THANK YOU to the entire team!

We visited Zieglers again shortly after Christmas. What can we say? As always, a brilliant performance from the entire team. The braised ox cheeks were absolutely delicious, the goose broth was very tasty, and the parfait for dessert was top-notch. We always love coming back! 👍🏽

We had a truly perfect stay at this hotel! We received a warm welcome upon check-in and immediately felt at home. The entire team was extremely friendly, attentive, and always ready to help. The rooms were very clean, modernly furnished, and offered the utmost comfort. We were particularly impressed by the comfortable bed and the peaceful atmosphere. The breakfast was plentiful, fresh, and left nothing to be desired. The hotel's location is also ideal – everything is easily accessible, yet it was still wonderfully relaxing. We stumbled upon Zieglers quite by chance and were blown away to discover such an incredibly good restaurant in the small town of Wörlitz. The food was amazing! Creative, delicious, fresh, completely homemade, and everything was perfect – but not at all pretentious. The service was equally friendly, attentive, and communicative. We stumbled upon a highly recommended restaurant and were absolutely thrilled. A fantastic restaurant with a lovely atmosphere. The service is professional and quick. The food... oh yes, the food delighted us both! The freshness, the preparation—everything was perfect. We had a vegetarian burger and a delicious roast duck. Before that, the pumpkin and pear soup of the day was unbeatable. The ingredients were incredibly fresh, and the taste was pure bliss. We'll definitely be back... ;-) Best regards and thanks... This was our second time eating here. Once again, the food was absolutely delicious, the staff very friendly, and the atmosphere wonderful. In fact, we would definitely give this place Michelin stars if we could. We highly recommend this restaurant to everyone: whether it's the appetizer, main course, or dessert, everything is top-notch. Thank you to the owner and staff for this fantastic dining experience once again! We can't comment on the rooms since we were only dining at the restaurant. My rating scale, and I'm very honest, not everyone can always get 5 stars: 1* = simply bad 2* = below expectations 3* = as expected (my standard) 4* = above expectations, but with a little room for improvement 5* = exceptionally good, everything was perfect, and I'm absolutely thrilled.

Located close to Wörlitz Park, just across the street. The rooms are modern and everything is very clean. The food is highly recommended, whether in the cozy beer garden or the restaurant. Regional, international, or vegetarian dishes, there should be something for every taste. We were there for a family celebration and tried almost everything, and everyone was satisfied. Highly recommended!

We were able to reserve a table for two at short notice on a Saturday evening. The service was friendly, and the food was delicious. A really good burger! The only thing was that the homemade lemonade was still water, which was a bit disconcerting.

We already liked the central location. We found free parking right next to the hotel. The beer garden was lovely. The restaurant and rooms had a uniform, modern design; the room was spacious and the bed comfortable. The breakfast buffet was excellent, and the service was very friendly and attentive. Unfortunately, the restaurant was closed on Mondays and Tuesdays.

We were pleasantly impressed by the house, the ambience, the service and the surroundings.

I highly recommend Ziegler's Restaurant and Guesthouse. Everything is tastefully decorated. The staff was very friendly and attentive. The food was delicious and good. I really liked the guesthouse room. Modern and cozy. The breakfast had everything you could wish for. Eggs are prepared to order. Sustainability is a priority here.

I had Mr. Ziegler organize my 50th birthday party. He and his crew went to great lengths to implement the theme (1920s). All of my guests and I were thrilled. The staff also set up the gondolas (coffee and cake). Mr. Ziegler also took care of the cake order from the Doneck bakery, which was also delicious. This allowed me to concentrate fully on my guests and the celebration. All of the staff, including Mr. Ziegler, patiently answered all of our questions and were friendly and accommodating despite the stress. I give the restaurant 5 stars plus.

After a long walk in Wörlitz Park, we came up with the idea of dinner at Zieglers. Quite spontaneously, a table was available for us. Succulent beef tenderloin tips, perfectly cooked homemade spaghettini, and freshly shaved Parmesan cheese plus wild herbs mingled with aromatic truffle oil… a "Zungenfasching" (carnival of the tongue) of the finest kind in a restaurant where we have eaten delicious meals many times. But the summery menu offered us not only this special treat, but also an exceptionally creative dessert, focusing on our favorite fruit, strawberries, airy puff pastry, and the previously unknown calamansi fruit. For us, it was the best meal we have ever enjoyed at Zieglers. We were absolutely thrilled! The waiters were extremely courteous and attentive, despite the high volume of guests at times. Thank you to the chef and the entire team.

The rooms are great. Modern and comfortably furnished. The bathroom is very comfortable with a walk-in shower. Everything is very clean. The dinner was delicious with imaginative creations. The prices are moderate.

The guesthouse is very quiet, located in the immediate vicinity of Wörlitz Park. There are 4 modern, very clean and tastefully furnished rooms and a holiday apartment. We felt very comfortable and will definitely come back. A great attentive service at breakfast and dinner and a nice restaurant with delicious dishes and that certain extra. We had dinner here on two consecutive days and it was an absolute pleasure every time!! Very friendly, attentive staff. The dining room had modern furnishings and the garden where we sat also had comfortable benches. The meal was excellent!!! Absolutely quiet, Wörlitzer Park practically on the doorstep, dogs not allowed but welcome, staff great, spotlessly clean and modern rooms, restaurant food at star level, the thing to complain about is that there is nothing to complain about.

Very pleasant restaurant with a great team and very tasty food!

As of December 29th After a long hike around the park, we use our cell phones to look for a restaurant to warm up and eat and find Ziegler's. Google says open, check on the HP informs that there were company holidays in October/November - thanks for the information. Opening time is stated on Sunday until 8 p.m. So the Zieglers approached with hope. A sign awaits us in front of the restaurant saying that it will close at 5 p.m. Since it was already 4:30 p.m., we moved on hungry.

Das Restaurant ist ein bisschen höherpreisig .vorallem bei den Getränken.. Aber wir würden wiederkommen ..weil es so lecker war..

The location of the hotel is perfect. If you arrived from Berlin by train, bus 304 runs from Dessau main station through the city center and along the country road right to the door. 30 minutes travel time. If you get out, walk 5 minutes back to the next street corner and you're there!

Wir hatten ein tolles kulinarisches Erlebnis im Zieglers. Das Personal war locker und freundlich. Die Einrichtung sehr toll und gepflegt. Und sowohl die Vorspeise sowie der Hauptgang originell, sehr toll angerichtet und absolut lecker 😀‼️

The restaurant is located in the center of Wörlitz. It is modern and beautifully decorated inside. The menu offers interesting dishes at fair prices. Some reviews describe the menu as “clear”. In a restaurant of this size, this is a sign that everything is made fresh and is not bought and reheated as is often the case. The offering changes seasonally and there is something to suit different tastes. Everything is really prepared with skill and good taste. The meat is tender, French fries made from real potatoes, prepared crispy, salads marinated. The service is really good and fast. On our first visit we were warmly welcomed, given good advice and treated to a very interesting “schnapps” after our meal. A very unusual and very tasty drink. It won't reveal what it is. All meals and starters were lovingly prepared and tasted interesting. It's worth stopping here. Just returned here and the very good impression was confirmed. The Anhaltinische Meckersack as a dish offers no reason to complain, the daily special is very good and the burgers have a quality that cannot be matched by the big chains. The service is right. A good restaurant with fair prices for very good food. I was here again in November 2024. It was as good as before, seasonal very well seasoned starters, meat and pasta dishes really very good. Everything is perfect here, ambience, cuisine and service. Despite the fog and 2° November weather, all places were occupied and more guests came. That speaks for itself.

Went to Ziegler's for lunch today with relatives (first-time offenders). The Anhalt Meckersack, the brawn and the autumn pasta were convincing. The dessert “Lukewarm chocolate cake with ice cream and pears” was named the world’s best dessert. Thank you also for the very good service.

Zu einem mehrtägigen Besuch im Wörlitzer Park haben wir am 06.10.2024 zu viert das Restaurant „Zieglers“ besucht. Aus unserer Sicht ist es eins der Besten, was die Gastronomie im Umkreis zu bieten hat. Das Ambiente ist sehr stimmig. Speisekarte und Tagesempfehlung sind wirklich Top. Umgehend nach der Platzierung wurden die Karten gereicht, die Getränke aufgenommen. Zwischendurch wurde ein Gruß aus der Küche gereicht, kompetent und freundlich. Das Essen war handwerklich sowie geschmacklich auf hohem Niveau ohne abgehoben zu sein.

We had a great stay at ZieglersPension. The rooms were very clean, cleaned daily, the beds were very comfortable. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly. The breakfast was extremely tasty, there was everything your heart could desire and, above all, everything was made on site. Simply fantastic. We can definitely recommend Ziegler's guesthouse and would always come back. The food in the restaurant also tasted excellent.

Great hotel and restaurant, we would love to come back

The Zieglers is a small guesthouse with 4 rooms and a holiday apartment. We treated ourselves to the holiday apartment for 4 days as a couple with our dog. It is modern and comfortable, has beautiful colors and the decoration is floral and attractive. We feel very, very comfortable here, so after the 3 nights we had actually booked, we added another day. The breakfast is plentiful and tasty: savory and sweet. Coffee, tea, juice, water, delicious regional products specially made for the Zieglers. The eggs are specially prepared on request and are perfect every time. The restaurant is also highly recommended. We ate here on 3 evenings and loved it.

Wir waren als Hotelgäste im Restaurant zum Abendessen. Die Einrichtung unserer Ferienwohnung setzte sich im Restaurant fort: modern, gemütlich, und raffiniert. Jede Platzgruppe hatte ein anderes Ambiente, so dass man sich irgendwie an seinem Tisch besonders fühlte. Das Personal war freundlich, zuvorkommend, auskunftsfreudig und schnell. Auf den Punkt würde ich sagen. Das Essen war sehr lecker. Die Karte ist relativ klein, aber trotzdem abwechslungsreich und innovativ. Wir hatten ein Schweineschnitzel mit Guken- Kartoffel- Salat, eine Sommerbowl mit Garnelen und Saisonale Creme Brulee. Alles sehr lecker mit regionalen Zutaten., was auch auf die Getränke zutrifft. Das Preis Leistungs Verhältnis ist angemessen. Hier essen wir gerne wieder.

A very nice and cozy guesthouse, with new and very clean rooms. The restaurant offers a small (which we really appreciate) modern and creative, very good cuisine. Breakfast very good. All of this at the entrance to the Wörlitz Lake District. A very relaxing stopover on the way home from the Baltic Sea to the south.

Dear Mr. Ziegler, dear team from the really beautiful Pension Ziegler's in Wörlitz. We were allowed to use the wonderful room 104 for four nights. And we felt very comfortable all around. The room is very tastefully and modernly furnished. There is a state-of-the-art bathroom available and thanks for the daily bottle of water. The cuisine is very excellent and the prices are mostly justified. Many thanks especially to the funny, always friendly and very courteous service staff. We wish you always satisfied guests, like we were for four whole days.

We were seven people for dinner (5 adults, 2 children/teenagers). A great, varied menu, something for everyone. And implemented perfectly by the kitchen! Great service. Very good selection of drinks.

We can only rate the restaurant here, but it definitely deserves 5 stars. Every time we stop here with the motorhome, we stop by. The food, ambience and service are sensational. Always super fresh and totally delicious. The service has fun at work and the boss cooks himself. And he's really good at it. And the super nice waitresses deserve more than 5 stars. We've been here a dozen times now and we're still thrilled. Many thanks to the team for the nice hours.

Gerichte überteuert und zu wenig und schmeckt nicht wie deutsche Küche. Pommes war noch Schale dran und nicht knusprig frittiert. Burger war Katastrophe. Kein Burger Brötchen, schmeckte wie die Buchteln vom Penny Markt. Service völlig überfordert mit ihren neuen System und technische Geräte. Desserts viel zu klein die Portionen gesehen bei anderen Gästen und zu hohe Preise.
