A recommendation for a relaxing evening by the small lake with simple, delicious food. Kids splash around in the water, and parents enjoy sitting on the newly redesigned terrace. Parties are also possible there. The staff are friendly and attentive to the well-being of their guests.

The small lakeside restaurant (clearly more than a snack bar) is a very honest spot - here the owner, his family and team are really committed to providing appropriate food and tasty drinks for the situation with reasonable prices. The terrace is provided with neat wooden furniture and you can experience wonderful, relaxed lake and evening moments here. The recession from two years ago also does not reflect the current situation with the current owner.

I can't comment on the rest, as it doesn't open until May. But it's a wonderful spot, pure nature. I'll definitely stop by again in May.

An insider tip! Anyone who wants to enjoy swimming, nature, a break on the bike tour and good food is in good hands here. Anyway, we liked it. There is a parking space right next to the stage in front of the barrier and there is no charge. A minute or less of walking and you're there. After cooling off in the natural lake, we obviously had an appetite. We actually had a reservation, but thanks to the mixed weather there was relative calm. So one of the six? We sat down at tables outside, studied the map and took in the view of the lake and the meadows. Drink and food orders are announced at the “flap” as before. You take drinks with you and the food is served. We always paid for individual orders in cash, but it can also be done on a collective list. We haven't found out whether you can pay by card here. When it comes to food, you have to say that everything from the “common” bockwurscht to burgers and farmer's breakfast was very tasty. It tasted like mother's. It was made with fresh ingredients and everything that was supposed to be hot was hot. When it started to rain a bit, we moved inside the restaurant where we sat very well. We were surprised by the sanitary facilities. Given the situation, one would have expected something simpler, but that was far from the case. It was very clean and there was no unpleasant smell. My motto is always: If you want to judge the restaurant, look at the toilets first. This usually shows whether things are being managed cleanly here. All in all, the operators and service staff can be congratulated for scoring points with such quality and friendliness. Please keep it up! We'll definitely be back soon. It's just a shame that it's no longer an insider tip 😉 By the way, pay attention to the opening times, as it's not always open.

You shouldn't be put off by the “Imbiss” sign on the road, but instead turn off and drive to the lake. Guests can expect lovingly prepared, really good food, good and varied drinks and ultimately a very friendly and nice service team. This is rounded off by a fantastically beautiful sunset. A typical kiosk with a real original as the operator. The menu offers what you would expect and recently also includes crepes, waffles and open ice cream. Opening hours are generally from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Exception during school holidays. RECOMMENDED. Please take your time to eat. 1 hour is our experience.
