The Japanese chicken was incredibly delicious – tender, juicy and perfectly seasoned! The service was super sweet and very attentive. Absolutely recommended! The Japanese waitress with short hair was really sweet and very friendly. She made the service even more pleasant!🫶🏻🫶🏻

We were seated quickly after a short wait. I had buta curry, which was unfortunately very salty. We also had the Special Udon. The noodles are very tasty, unfortunately the tempura inserts became soggy very quickly. It would be nice if you could serve them separately and then dip them into the broth yourself. The gyoza were tender but very oily. I would like to be convinced by the udon again next time.

Really nice staff with great Udon. I got the tantan Udon karaage. It was super nice and flavorfully. Would really recommend!

The food is excellent. There are various noodle soup dishes here, but also dishes for rice lovers. I particularly like the spicy versions here. The service is quick and friendly. I liked the decoration in the store, there are a lot of pictures of funny bears and fishes. That has a special charm.

Yummy yummy yummy! Friendly waiters, absolutely delicious food at mega prices! And the atmosphere is so lively! We waited around 15 minutes on a Saturday evening and quickly got a place, although we had a lot of people in front of us. Will definitely come again!

People are recommending the unagi Jyu, but I wanna to try something different, is actually the first time I have “Udon noodles in miso soup”, Very interesting taste, a nice try. Staffs are lovely and quick, nice place for lunch and nothing to complain.

We ate here for lunch. I had the chirashi don and my partner a miso ebi tempura udon. However i did not expect my chirashi don to look like this. All the seafood were chopped up in bits. Food was alright. Wanted to get some sushi too but for some reason was not available.

We had to wait for about 10 mins to enter the restaurant but our meals were served really quick! And so tasty. Definitely 5 stars for us.

Its sad that I have to give a bad review.... overall the Food is good but the service is just unbearable. Several waitress are unfriendly, sour faced.. we ordered food and drinks and they told me to remove my 6 year oldt kiddie water bottle off the table even though we ordered drinks for kids as well and assured her we will not let her drink her water. We had to leave the bottle on the floor. So it's not kid friendly There are pleanty of Japanese food options in Düsseldorf and it's safe to say we are NOT VISITING THIS RESTORAN ANYMORE!

We had a delicious meal here! We ate here twice during our weekend in Düsseldorf and it was great both times. It was a bit busy and we had to wait outside for a short time, but we didn't mind. The service was friendly and the food was fantastic—surpassing everything!

It was wonderful here! The staff was super friendly and nice. The service was very quick and the food was delicious! We had the house's recommendations - curry udon with fried chicken, I think. Everything was also very nicely decorated. You feel like you're at home.

This food was incredible. I’ve never had broth and noodles like this. You could not put more flavour in it if you had a magic flavour cannon. Also, the people were very nice and the ambiance was great. Highlight of the trip!

Very tasty food and very authentic.

Unfriendly employees. We went into the restaurant and asked for a table. We were immediately sent out by an extremely unfriendly waitress. Apparently we should wait outside. The way she communicated it was unacceptable and very un-Japanese! You rarely experience something like this in a Japanese restaurant. The people who were sent out after us left immediately and didn't wait outside. The food was good, but the service from the employee, Miyu, was below the belt.

Another great addition to the Foodscene in Little Tokyo. Helpful and friendly staff. Not a lot on the menu but they have what others don't, like Lamb Gyoza or Lamb Ramen.

Unfortunately they have changed something in the menu so that my favorite dish with many larger pieces of fish and seafood is no longer available. Please return it!

The food was simply delicious! At first we weren't sure if we wanted to stay because the laminated menus didn't present the food particularly well. A look at the other guests' food and the delicious yuzu honey tea made us stay. What luck! We really liked the Spicy Veggie Curry Udon soup with vegetable tempura and chirashi tanpin. Soooo delicious! And the service was quick and always friendly. A clear recommendation. Danger! There are clear waiting rules when the restaurant is full. We would be happy to come back if we get the chance.

We have visited this place twice now. The first time we wanted to try Kushitei of Tokyo but they closed at 15:00 so we ended up here. And we were lucky to be able to not have to wait in line! We found out this place is also affiliated to Kushitei. But they offer a different menu. Today we chose the Ika geso karaage, unagi don and chirashi sushi set. The ika geso karaage is so flavorfull and the squid is a bit chewy but in a good way. The unagi don is served with delicious pickled radishes and eggplant on top of perfectly seasoned and perfectly cooked rice. The miso soup was also delicious. You might think that something so simple is easy to make but a lot of places make it too salt or too bland. We chose the chirashi set with Udon in miso soup. My daughter ate all the udon so I haven't tried that but everything I tried here was delicious so far. The fish served in this set was tuna, salmon, salmon eggs and shrimp with thinly sliced omelet, pickled ginger on top of again, perfectly seasoned cooked rice. The karaage had juicy chicken on the inside and a nice crunchy outerlayer even the salad served with the karaage had a nice kewpy style sesame dressing. You simply can't go wrong here. Come about 10 minutes before opening hours and you have a good chance of not having to wait in line for so long.

There were too many people queuing up, and the taste was just passable. The eel rice had a bit of a fishy smell, and the pork belly in the ramen was not very tasty. The waiters are not very friendly.

Rude service and bad experience I was there today and wanted to take a table for 4 people alone as my friends would be coming in a few minutes. When it was my turn, the waiter told me to either wait outside or at the bar. So I went to the bar and wanted to order there. But then the waiter came again and asked me to leave the restaurant because a group of three people had arrived. I find it unacceptable and rude to treat a guest like this. Such behavior doesn't make a good impression. Unfortunately I can't recommend this place.

You come and are greeted in a friendly manner, just like in Japan, which is the basis for a good restaurant. The cuisine is great, tastes like Japan, the service is first class. You can only get the food in the picture (Hokke Teishoku) at home, or alternatively here, of course, SUPPA. This makes going to a restaurant fun.

Great restaurant for delicious udon noodle soups. The miso karaage udon noodle soup tasted very good. The menu of various udon noodle soups and other dishes is varied. I think the prices are reasonable 😊 There were still enough free seats on Sunday lunchtime, so we immediately got a table for two people. The restaurant is cozy and tastefully decorated with a Japanese flair. The employees were super warm – just like you would expect from the Japanese. 😊 Some of them only speak English, but that wasn't a problem for us! I'd love to come back!

Everyone was kind and the food was very yummy

I came here after traveling hundreds of miles for eel rice, and stayed for two days to eat two days in a row. The rice is soft, glutinous and fragrant, and the eel tastes good. The store is not big, and they basically serve set meals. It was not meal time when I came, so I had to wait ten minutes for the food to be served.

I often travel to Düsseldorf and like to try out Little Tokyo. This time Zero Banchi was on my list, but unfortunately I probably got my hopes up too high. 1. The prices were way too high and we were still hungry after eating. 2. I was served the wrong dish at the beginning, without an apology. Please skip the food here - it's really nothing special.

My first time here and i want to go back again. Went here around August, to eat Tempura. It was so delicious! The Eel dish was delicious too. The california roll, was really authentic! I love all the food here. All i can say is, this restaurant serves their food fast and really delicious and authentic. I highly recommend this place.

We ordered gyozas, the tan tan ramen and a spicy karaage . All dishes were delicious, would highly recommend, half the miso based udons can be spicy (w/ kimchi) which was a great flavor fusion :)

As a ramen fan who was here for the first time, I can only say: creamy, aromatic broth and delicious, al dente noodles. The staff is super friendly and chats happily with each other in Japanese. Gladly again.

Only drank there, but nice service and everything was fine. There is also a 2.5 liter beer tower. Mnjamm.

We were in this cafe on October 8, 2024. There were three of us and we ordered a menu. After a short wait, our food was brought to us. Unfortunately I have to say that the sushi didn't taste good at all - the rice fell apart and the soy sauce was way too salty. I would also like to mention that there were three of us, but we were not offered cutlery sets for everyone. We all had to eat from one big plate. For the food there is a 1, for the service a 2. Unfortunately we left disappointed and will probably not come back.

Unfortunately, after so many years of the best sushi in Düsseldorf, they changed the menu. No more high end nigiri sets. Only a few rolls. The main dishes on the menu are now noodles instead of sushi and seafood. Back to their sister restaurant Kushi Tei.

I visited for lunch. Ordered seafood bowl + sea urchin topping. Probably because it was after the lunch peak, the food we ordered was delivered smoothly. I'm excited and looking forward to eating it. As I was about to start eating, I heard the voice of a Japanese waiter from around the kitchen. The volume of the voice was so loud that I was surprised by the words and language I heard. I honestly wanted to enjoy the meal, but unfortunately I wasn't able to enjoy it comfortably. It was a shame because the taste was good.

Found this gem while visiting Dusseldorf on the second weekend of September. The servers were kind and spoke Japanese among themselves, the service was prompt and the food was simply amazing. I returned the following day with my travel buddy for round two and it did not disappoint. If I ever come to Dusseldorf again, I'll be happy to stop by once more.

A Japanese restaurant serving authentic Hokkaido-style dishes. I have eaten here several times and have been impressed every time. The menu offers a wide variety and the sushi is delicious. The ambience is warm and inviting, with traditional Japanese decorations creating a lovely atmosphere. The very friendly service completes the experience. I had the Unagi don at Hokkaido Kitchen Zero Banchi in Dusseldorf recently. The unagi was just decent but the rice was nice, so I’d give it 7/10

Great insider tip in the middle of the usual Takumis on Immermannstrasse. Japanese waiters, very good food, authentic environment. You almost miss the smoking of the typical Izakaya. Prices absolutely affordable.

A Japanese restaurant with a wide selection of noodle and rice dishes. The dishes are very tasty and easy to digest. The prices may seem a little expensive at first glance, but the portions are correspondingly large. To match the good food, 'Zero Banchi' offers friendly and fast service. The restaurant is usually busy, so I recommend reserving a table in advance or planning on waiting for a while if you're visiting at short notice.

Tastes like chicken kebab with rice in the university cafeteria. But you have to pay four times for it. Actually I think the dish in the Mansa is better. 味道不如学校食堂Kebab 饭

Had the spicy miso ebi udon and yasai curry. I have a high Spice tolerance so I can't really tell if the udon was extrem spicy or not but it was yummy. The atmosphere was great and the Service nice. The prices are also okay👍🏻

BAD SERVICE! We orderd three unagi, and one came up in 5 minutes. Then we waited for another 25 minutes, all the customers around us which came later then us all got their unagi, so we asked the female waiter, she said” do you need 2 more?” So we checked what we ordered with her, then we realized the waiter didn’t got our order right. So we politely ask then that we want 3 unagi in total. Then while we waited, the next table got a new unagi( also came later then us). This made me so angry, we have waited more than 40 minutes in total. And I asked another waiter which seems like the leader. He explained that one unagi we had is the only one he got. I’m angry because he’s not only bad at what he does, but also lying about the waiter actually forgot our order. I am so disappointed about the service and all the experience that we had!
