Ich war während meiner letzten Reise nach Monaco zweimal in diesem Restaurant. Alles lief perfekt!

Wirklich toll! Ausländerfreundlich, und es gab sogar glutenfreie Optionen, bei denen man uns auch geholfen hat.

Das Essen war wirklich gut und wir sind froh, dass wir noch ein Restaurant mit Takoyaki gefunden haben. Allerdings ist es sehr unterschiedlich: Manche Kellner sind sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit, andere scheinen sich von der Anwesenheit der Gäste gestört zu fühlen (dasselbe gilt für die Bedienung an der Bar).

Das Essen war ziemlich gut und der Service ebenfalls hervorragend.

Das Essen war lecker, aber der Service hat leider einen unangenehmen Eindruck hinterlassen. Der Teller wurde weggenommen, obwohl noch Essen darauf war und wir noch nicht fertig waren. Außerdem hatte man praktisch keine Möglichkeit, auf das Trinkgeld zu verzichten, was ebenfalls unangenehm war.

Zento Die Sushiplatte als auch das Gyoza waren mega lecker. Da gibt es nichts zu meckern. Die Bedienung war auch sehr freundlich und angenehm. Das Lokal ist schön eingerichtet. Allerdings: unerträgliche, geschmacklose Musik, die auch noch zu laut ist. Die Tische sind so eng beisammen, da kann man seinen Nachbarn direkt abknutschen. Tische so klein, dass kaum Platz für Getränke und Essen zur selben Zeit ist. Die Getränke waren auch grausig: der Cosmopolitan Highball war so süß, dass ich es nicht trinken konnte; die Lytchischorle war auch mau. Die Nachspeise - Zento Collection und Banana Paradise - eine Frechheit: überteuert für die schlechte Qualität (Fertigprodukt) und die kleine Portionen. Wir werden nicht noch einmal kommen

Sehr empfehlenswertes Sushi‑Erlebnis! Bei Zentimeter Sushi wurde ich von der Qualität der Zutaten absolut überzeugt – der Fisch war frisch, der Reis perfekt gewürzt und die Portionen angenehm groß. Die Sushi‑Rollen waren sauber geformt und geschmacklich sehr ausgewogen, ohne zu süß oder zu salzig zu sein. Der Service war freundlich und aufmerksam, die Einrichtung modern und gemütlich. Die Preise liegen im fairen Bereich für diese Qualität, sodass man hier jederzeit gerne wieder hinkehrt – sowohl für einen spontanen Abend als auch für einen gemütlichen Besuch mit Freunden. Klare Empfehlung!

Ich hatte einen Tisch für zwei Personen reserviert, vorzugsweise in einem ruhigen Lokal. Wir mussten über 20 Minuten warten und bekamen dann genau das Gegenteil von dem, was ich bestellt hatte! Das Essen war gut, aber das Management war katastrophal!

Das Essen war mittelmäßig, ich hatte mehr erwartet. Die Bedienung war schwer zu erreichen und wirkte etwas überfordert. Der Platz zwischen den Tischen war so eng, dass man leicht die Gläser der Nachbartische anstoßen konnte.

Schönes Lokal, der Service war sehr freundlich und schnell. Das Essen war top und preisgerecht. Gemütliche Atmosphäre. Lediglich die Getränke könnten etwas größer sein.

Essen ist in Ordnung aber keine authentische japanische Ramen. Das Ei ist nicht hart sondern weichgekocht und nicht eingelegt die Nudeln sind nicht in der Schüssel platziert, das Gemüse und Fleisch ebenfalls nicht. Eher eine deutsche Nudelsuppe. Schmeckt trotzdem. Gyoza, nur 4 Stück für 7 Euro.

Geschmacklich hervorragend. Das zarte Rindfleisch harmonierte wunderbar mit den Nudeln und dem Gemüse. Auch das Dessert war ein Traum.

Sehr schmackhaftes authentisches japanisches Essen! Ich hatte eine Udon-Ramen-Suppe, die war ganz vorzüglich und genau so, wie ich sie in Osaka kennengelernt hatte. Die Bedienung ist sehr aufmerksam und höflich, ich musste auch überhaupt nicht warten. Also wirklich eine ausdrückliche Empfehlung von meiner Seite!

Das Essen hat uns sehr gut geschmeckt. Die Atmosphäre ist elegant, ohne aufdringlich zu wirken. Ich habe dem Restaurant einen Punkt abgezogen, da sich meine Tochter an dem frittierten Sushi den Mund stark verbrannt hat. Es muss direkt aus der Fritteuse gekommen sein, aber sie wurde nicht darauf hingewiesen. Sie brauchte eine Woche, um sich zu erholen (inklusive Arztbesuch und drei Medikamenten). Wir waren die einzigen Gäste, daher hätte der Kellner das nicht übersehen dürfen.

Das Restaurant, das ich in meinem Urlaub besucht habe, war einfach unglaublich… Ich kann es auf jeden Fall weiterempfehlen.

Wir waren zu dritt. Das Ambiente ist sehr schön. Und das Restaurant ist sehr gut besucht. Die Kellner sind sehr aufmerksam und schnell. Leider sind die Preise für das Essen nicht entsprechend der mittelmäßigen Qualität des Essens. Mein Thunfisch Steak war innen kalt ( man merkt, dass es gefroren war ) und außen lauwarm. Die Beilagen bei drei Gerichten waren nahezu identisch, das empfanden wir als etwas einfallslos. Ein Gericht war das Hähnchen vom Tepangrill . Man hat aber den Eindruck, dass es nicht vom Grill war, sondern frittiert war. Das Essen ist gut, aber es ist nichts besonderes und es ist den Preis nicht entsprechend. Für drei Personen haben wir 170 € bezahlt. Ich habe bereits in mehreren japanischen Restaurants gegessen und auch in Japan mehrere Restaurants besucht. Mein Eindruck ist, dass es keine authentische japanische Küche ist.

Es war extrem überfüllt und extrem laut, man konnte sich unmöglich mit dem Nachbarn unterhalten. Das Essen war in Mayonnaise und Frischkäse ertränkt, das Hähnchen war roh und überteuert. Ich wünschte, ich könnte Zeit und Geld zurückbekommen.

Wir haben etwas zum Abholen bestellt am Samstagabend. Es war super lecker und auch gute Portionen. Leider ist etwas vergessen worden bei der Bestellung, das kann passieren. Doch wie mit dem Fehler umgegangen worden ist, ist besonders! Es wurde sich sofort bereit erklärt alles Fehlende nachzuliefern. Das ist ein wirklich bemerkenswertes Zeichen für einen Laden der eigentlich nur Abholung macht. Ich bin nach wie vor vom gebotenen Service und auch der Speisenqualität mehr als begeistert! Vorspeisen sehr gut . Hauptgerichte leider nicht , das lag nicht an der Machart sondern eher an der Qualität . Service in Ordnung , ich möchte erwähnen , dass wir ein kleines Dessert bekommen haben da wir nicht so zufrieden waren. Preis Leistung hat für uns nicht so gepasst .

We celebrated my son's 13th birthday here. The sushi was fantastic! It was delicious and fresh. The service was a bit inattentive. The table wasn't completely cleaned after the main course. Also, there was no birthday greeting, even though we had mentioned it when making the reservation. It would have been nice to receive at least a small token of appreciation from the house. Otherwise, the ambiance is good, but there are more pleasant places.

We had lunch here today and were truly impressed by the food. The sushi, sashimi, and nigiri were of very high quality, extremely fresh, and expertly prepared. The gyuso was also perfectly cooked, and overall it was a very successful and authentic Japanese meal. Unfortunately, the otherwise very positive impression was somewhat marred by the service. The server seemed rather unfriendly and uninviting, which didn't quite match the high standard of the cuisine. Nevertheless, the food is absolutely recommendable, and we will gladly return because of the quality of the dishes. With a little more friendliness from the service staff, it would be a truly perfect experience.

The restaurant was very cramped, it’s a very tight space with lots of tables everywhere. The most negative for me though was that I caught some really strong bad smell when they brought our appetisers and it put me off the food completely. I was seated quite close to the kitchen, so idk if I smelled them cleaning a fish or something. In any case, it was bad.

I had a great dinner with my friend, we ate rice with tuna fillet, and it was excellent. Very tasty, highly recommended.

I was quite disappointed with my visit to this restaurant. The experience started on a negative note when we were informed at the entrance that our time inside would be limited — not the kind of welcome you expect when dining out. The tables were placed very close to each other, making it uncomfortable to move around. There was no place to hang coats, and no one from the staff offered to help with them, so most guests ended up keeping their outerwear at the table, which didn’t feel pleasant. The service was polite but a bit too persistent — waiters came by about every 15 minutes to ask if everything was okay. It became slightly distracting and made it difficult to relax and enjoy the evening. As for the food, the rolls were falling apart, which made them hard to eat, though the octopus was well-cooked and delicious. Overall, the restaurant has potential, but the atmosphere and service need improvement to make the experience truly enjoyable. I honestly expected something quite different from a place like this.

The service was friendly, but not very attentive. We had to wait quite a while to be served. It was very crowded. The tables are extremely close together (only a few centimeters apart), so you can't have a private conversation. This wouldn't be possible anyway due to the noise level. You have to speak very loudly for your companion to hear/understand you. It's a shame, because it's quite a nice place. But (for my taste) there are too many tables, which creates a lot of noise, and the waiters don't notice when glasses are empty, etc. The food was good.

It’s very nice place with very attentive staff not overly decorative but simple and timeless. The food was great. Only bummer it’s a bit overrun. Best to reserve a spot beforehand. Even though for me a single person the found a space quickly and took care I am not close to the window or entrance so I wouldn’t get cold.

Zento is a good Japanese restaurant serving traditional cuisine. Since we're not fans of sushi, we had the king prawns with vegetables and the duck with vegetables, both of which were delicious. The sorbet was also good. Unfortunately, our server fell ill, and a colleague had to step in at short notice, which increased our wait time.

The ramen soup was very meager, two pieces of meat 1 cm thick and about 5 cm long. Just water. The long drink, Tokio Smash, was good, but not for €10.90.

When we ordered, we were told not to have sushi today because it would take over an hour. So we ordered something else. Neither dish was outstanding. My Zento tempura rolls were McDonald's-style. The batter wasn't the delicious Japanese tempura batter I'm used to. Instead, it was a thick coating like chicken wings, with lots of rice underneath and a tiny bit of ingredients—an unidentifiable mixture. The menu said there were supposed to be seven different ingredients in it. That wasn't clear. Minus the coating, the taste was okay, but unfortunately, there was almost nothing left.

Positive: One meat eater, one vegan: Both had really great food. The vegan main course could have used a bit more greens, but otherwise the portions were very good. You'll definitely be full, and everything tasted 10/10. It was very nice that the two waiters spoke German and it was easy to communicate. Contrary: Some tables are very close together, so you sometimes feel like you're sitting at the same table as your neighbors. Some tables are so awkwardly positioned that you almost need acrobatics to get a seat. And the time limit is an absolute no-go by European standards. Because the food was really delicious and the staff was friendly, we'll be back.

A weak 3 stars. The tonkotsu ramen lacked any expression or flavor. The meat was as tough as rubber, and I'd rather forget the taste. It's also quite expensive compared to the quality of the food served. The only positives were the friendly service and the nice decor.

My visit to the restaurant was a mixed blessing for me. We had reserved a table outside and sent an email the day of (since the weather wasn't cooperating) saying we'd prefer to sit inside. Unfortunately, this request couldn't be accommodated. The ambiance inside is very nice and the prices are reasonable. The outdoor seating is quite close to the street, and the tables are very small. I always recommend making a reservation inside. The drinks were delicious. The food (we ordered several small dishes) was served at somewhat odd intervals. We sometimes waited longer. But it was also very busy. The sushi specialties were particularly delicious (salmon nigiri, zenko special, and also the mixed tartar). Wagyue is ridiculously expensive. It's a tiny portion, and the taste isn't worth the price! Some of the food was really delicious. There were many vegetarian options, which I really liked. I felt it lacked a high-quality flair for its high price. But that could also have been due to the exterior.

I work and live in Munich !!! To experience a restaurant .. It is rare to run from A to Z... the food here is very fast, very delicious, clean and beautiful... reasonable price..

We ordered an oyster dish (5 pieces) for €22. In the end, the “oyster” was just a shell with regular mussels inside – which is simply cheating. When I asked to take the shells with me, the staff said no because they want to reuse them. Very disappointing experience, especially considering the high price and unacceptable practice.

The thickness of the sashimi pieces was just proper, not so thick and not so stingily thin.

Five of us ate here in February. We specifically requested a quiet spot beforehand. Unfortunately, according to the wait staff, the table right by the entrance was far too small for five people. (My husband had to half-step over the table to sit at the fifth chair, which was wedged between the window and the table – not for people with limited mobility or a bit more weight.) The noise level at this spot was also unpleasant, partly because the seats were so tightly packed. It wasn't communicated in advance that the table was only reserved for two hours. This is an additional negative when the service is slow and the wrong dish is brought to the table. Unfortunately, the expectation still seems to be that you'll leave quickly – even though the fault lay with the staff. Unfortunately, the quality of the food is nothing special and too expensive. I don't mind spending more money on food, but then the quality has to be right. Another negative point: my mother-in-law had already left a review shortly after our visit that was completely objective, and all five of us felt the same way. Unfortunately, the review was deleted by the owner—I can't think of any other explanation for this review.

Food was average and so was the service. Unfortunately, the waiter was not very attentive, which I had mentioned when I paid the bill (with the head waiter). I had booked through OpenTable and interesingly, the restaurant officially canceled my reservation on the app after my visit. One can only assume this was intended so no review could be made on OpenTable.

Great sushi and good ambience. The restaurant faces a wide road, with doors swung open allowing an outside seating and a good atmosphere. Food is delicious and of good quality. I could tell my sushi was freshly prepared.

Pricing is fine, but it would be nice to be able to get a pitcher of water without additional cost like in most countries. (Instead of bottled water) I ordered medium cooked but it was almost rare (maybe the scale in Germany isn't the same as France) I consider the cost of 30€ for a dish with salad/potatoes and a steak to mostly be the steak price. The steak itself was fine but not 30€ fine or sized (the size matched the 250g mentioned on the menu so no issue there). I could get a similar dish in Paris for about half the price. For 20€ in the US I've gotten much larger, better cooked steak, with no crunch or ligaments (I'm not sure what the very tough white strands are). The meat was pretty chewy which not everyone likes (especially if you aren't there to get jaw muscles, but probably also because it wasn't medium cooked) and the sides (salad and potatoes) are pretty compact in size. For me the dish was less interesting and its quality was less than that of many 15€ restaurant, nothing peculiar. Maybe the 15€ premium is because of the location and cost in the City, but Paris or Hawaï isn't cheap either and the price and quality is higher. You also don't pay for the water over there. Maybe the sushi is more worth it at this restaurant.

Very Disappointing Service – I Definitely Won't Be Back My friends and I reserved a table at this restaurant a week in advance for a relaxed 6:30 p.m. dinner. However, when we arrived, we were told we could only stay for two hours because the table was booked again at 8:30 p.m. What disappointed us most was that this time limit wasn't mentioned in the online reservation. Had we known this beforehand, we would have chosen a different restaurant or planned our evening differently. Instead, we suddenly had to rush everything – ordering, eating, talking – just because other guests were due to arrive later. Even worse was the reaction of the staff, who told us something like, "Then eat somewhere else." This is extremely rude and disrespectful, especially towards customers who had made reservations in advance. The organization was poor, and we had to forgo further orders because there simply wasn't enough time. This is the first time I've ever written a negative review about a restaurant. I eat out often and understand that not everything can be perfect – but such disrespectful behavior and lack of communication are simply unacceptable. You don't expect this kind of experience at a restaurant you've consciously chosen. We were very disappointed and will definitely not be returning. I hope the restaurant learns from this to communicate more transparently and treat its guests with more respect in the future.

We reserved a table online for 6:30 p.m. However, upon arrival, the staff immediately informed us that we could only stay for two hours – even though we had reserved in advance and weren't just a walk-in. We weren't aware of this time limit beforehand, and we weren't informed of it when we made the reservation. About 18 minutes before the end of the time, a staff member approached us and clearly stated that we had to leave the table promptly, as guests for the next reservation at 8:30 p.m. were already waiting outside the packed restaurant. There was not a single word of apology; instead, we were suggested to go to the nearby restaurant at the front – which felt very rude and like an eviction. Overall, the staff wasn't particularly attentive or friendly. The table organization seemed chaotic, and the atmosphere is completely unsuitable for a relaxed meal. If you want to spend a relaxing evening without time pressure, you should choose another restaurant. We didn't even have enough time to order dessert because we were practically escorted out the door. The food was okay. I wouldn't recommend this restaurant. We won't be back.

Service very bad, after 15min I had to ask to order, 10min later finally we got to order, 20min after we got first dishes but they forgot the drinks had to remind them. After 3rd reminder food came. Staff speak you don't understand.

The food was truly delicious, and anyone can offer sushi as far as I'm concerned, but otherwise, there's nothing authentically Japanese about this place. Unfortunately, we expected that from the presentation. Now we know better, and I would definitely visit the restaurant again for the Big Roll Ebi Tempura.

Another OOOOHHH yes, we were invited by our son, and Zento is one of his favorite restaurants in town. We had a delicious mixed sushi platter for four people. Since my son's girlfriend is gluten intolerant, she was given a separate platter. The various waiters were very attentive and asked questions frequently. A glimpse into the kitchen promised cleanliness.
