Food super tasty, service top, very friendly, atmosphere cozy, always happy

It was our first time at ZEN and we would go back again and again. 👍 We were thrilled by the delicious food, the friendly staff and the great ambience. Thank you very much again. It was/is nice with you.

This Secret Place, is a spacy and cozy Sushi Parlour, which I would recommend for a Date. It has a vast Variety of Dishes. From Sushi Plates and Dumplings to Pho Broth. They serve Cocktails as well and I spotted suprisingly a couple of young Men playing a Board Game. You can sit outside in the Summer as it seems.

A lot has changed for the worse since it was taken over by a new owner. We have been guests several times every time we visit Berlin for years. But that won't happen again. Service and kitchen completely new team. The friendliness and competence have been lost. The quality and taste of the food has deteriorated extremely. In particular the tuna in the sushi was tough and had an unpleasant taste. The soup 105 and the chicken 130 don't taste nearly as good either. Too bad

We had a very good tuna tartare and salmon sashimi, as well as some sushi and it was very fresh and good.

All well and good but water 0.25l for €3.50? A bit too much for such cheap water. Please keep the prices fair, this is the only way we can come to you regularly. Thanks

Because of the good reviews I wanted to eat here. However, the sushi with tuna was not freshly prepared and did not taste particularly good. I pointed this out to an employee, but unfortunately I didn't receive a friendly response. I would reluctantly recommend the restaurant.

Ms. Aida They ate all the sushi 🍣 last 2 pieces left. they said tuna not ok I tried to explain tuna marinated there is tuna fillet. They see clearly but they just don't want to hear. They gave me an arrogant answer I know tuna you don't have to say. How should fish be? I said Sushi Man in front of her. I think the restaurant is more of a tourist trap. I find the quality of the food to be below average compared to other Asian restaurants. I ate a duck and the dark sauce was tasteless and watery. I had to pay attention to the menu because the waiters were very busy at lunchtime. I will not visit the restaurant again. There are much better Asian restaurants of various nationalities not far on Kantstrasse.

The four of us were there on Friday at 10 p.m. and even though the kitchen closed half an hour later, all four of us got a delicious starter and a great main course. We also thought the value for money was great, the waiters were very friendly even though we arrived so close to closing time. We would always come back.

Unfortunately the price was too high for what we ordered.. we weren't satisfied with a sushi plate for 4 people with 4 people and other things.. unfortunately the service wasn't good either, it was agreed that we would be served everything in one course wanted to have and still it was two courses.

The men's toilets should be repaired.

Despite a huge school trip from Norway to the restaurant, everything came to our table quickly and without errors and in really beautiful condition. Only recommended!

This place is a "Pan Asian" you can get from well filled sushis to Pho , currys or Tonkahgai . Everything delicious and nice friendly service. Very busy !

If you, as a guest, are ignored and overlooked, it is difficult to evaluate a meal that you have not eaten. Sat at the table for 15 minutes, then got up and left. It wasn't that full at the time.

Very nice restaurant with delicious food

It's not that easy to rate the restaurant. We had reserved a table for two people and were warmly welcomed. After a quick look at the menu, we each ordered a drink and an appetizer. The starter came after just two minutes. We then had to point out the drinks again. These came considerably later. But that wasn't just the case at our table. The table next door was served the main course shortly after the starter was served. The drinks were then also requested at this table. We ordered two sushi plates for the main course. These were served on a plate without asking in advance... And then what was served didn't even correspond to the picture on the menu. The waiter started to argue until a second person intervened and then tried to save it by giving us the right one. He also apologized and was very friendly. But overall I can't recommend the restaurant. The service is just not good and the red wine I ordered was at room temperature (in late summer). Anyone who serves red wine at room temperature these days hasn't learned much. The saying comes from the Middle Ages, when the room temperature was significantly lower than today's average temperature. It's a shame... But we won't come again

The food is ok. The waitress was really rude for no reason basically throwing the dishes on the table as she brought them. This definitely left a bad impression throughout the evening.

Beautiful restaurant on the Kudamm. I've been there several times and the food has always impressed me. The ambience is very nice because of the Asian decor. What is also very remarkable is the staff. Very nice people who are easy to talk to.

Beautiful ambience in the courtyard, beautifully lit. We were also lucky with the weather and had a mild summer night. A great menu, the You&Me sushi platter for two was perfect. A great mix of flavors and consistencies. Definitely recommended!

An inconspicuous place in a secluded backyard. So close to the Kudamm and yet so quiet and relaxing, the ambience is really successful. There were no particular problems with the service, everything went as expected for an upscale area. I only ate sushi, and it can be said that it is definitely fresh and has an above-average taste. The selection of sushi is manageable, with a few peculiarities but not the largest selection. Price/performance ratio is okay for the area, considering the selection and taste, others offer more for less €. If you're looking for a nice atmosphere, you're welcome to stop by, you won't be disappointed 👍🏻

Food was delicious. As a vegetarian, we ordered Veggie Set and other Veggie Futo Maki. Veggie Futo Maki and Buddha Temupra was really awesome!

I had lunch at Zen today, and unfortunately, it didn’t live up to my expectations for Asian cuisine. While the soup was decent, the spring rolls, dragon rolls, and unagi rolls were disappointing and lacked the authentic flavors I was hoping for. In fact, they were so off the mark that we couldn’t even finish them. The service was average, nothing noteworthy.

This reaturant ia a feast for the eyes and the palate.

We come here very often and have had company dinners here twice. It was always immaculate. Super tasty and always something for everyone. The price-performance ratio is top. Great quality. The interior ambience is very cozy and very beautiful. Clear recommendation, a visit is worth it.

Stopped here for dinner. Lovely courtyard terrace. Friendly and quick service and the quality of food is great. My husband really enjoyed the hot beef plate. My friend and I even ordered a second round of the Zen special roll since we enjoyed it so much.

Pretty good sushi place located in central Berlin. We ordered a family sized set and it was good but the portion cost ratio was little off there could be more. Drinks were a little expensive for sushi place. Otherwise for sushi tase good!

An Asian in the city, great location! You can get there super quickly on foot or by public transport. The food was good, the sauce was a bit watery. Unfortunately there was no air conditioning, the fan did everything it could, but at 33 degrees it didn't do much. Prices were ok and the service was also polite and friendly. The food is great, we tried sushi, kimchi and coco soup and they all were delicious and fresh. During lunch it’s pretty busy and you may not find preferred place or for larger groups. The restaurant is clean and had cozy atmosphere. Staff is helpful but during rush hours you may have to wait a bit. Clean toilets are at downstairs. We didn’t tried any cocktails but they have good drinks options.

I went there a few times to eat their fried chicken dish for lunch break. It was the best dish. I was disappointed to see that they replaced it with a normal curry without crisp :( Still good but similar to any other asian restaurant now

A very pleasant experience. The food is fantastic - I ordered the seared tuna and small sushi platter. Really fresh-tasting, very well presented and an excellent price point for the quality. It's also in a particularly upmarket shopping district of Berlin, so I was impressed at how competitive the prices were - especially compared to other major cities. The cocktail was a bit weak and warm. Shout out to Mario, the Spanish travelling guitarist who serenaded diners!

Rolls are delicious. We got a set for two which was called “you and me”. Made from fresh ingredients. We are full. Especially we liked the crispy ones. The texture was very unusual. The only downside is that we had to wait about 15 minutes. Dumplings with shrimp are excellent. Our child liked them. Mango lassi is on a decent level. The restaurant did not accept cards. Starting tomorrow, it will be closed for a week.

A very joyful discovery! Even when it's very hot, you can sit in the inner courtyard in a comfortable and airy place. The food is really good and appetizingly prepared. The Suhsi are actually the best I have ever eaten. The service is friendly and quick. I didn't want to order anything to drink with my meal, so they brought me a house iced tea on the house. I know such a nice and hospitable gesture from Berlin not at all. As I walked I had a very good feeling, a mini vacation.

Zen Restaurant's website is very attractive. That's why we (2 people) reserved a table there. I'll keep it short: the location is okay, in a courtyard, away from the noise. However, we were very disappointed with the food. Everything we ordered was somehow Asian, but the taste was “Germanized” and bland. The service was professional, friendly, but overwhelmed.

A waiter speaks neither English nor German. I asked for water to drink medicine but he didn't understand me. I took the water from the counter myself. I left the money for the water. He shouted after us and demanded money for the water we didn't drink. This behavior is not acceptable. That's very rude.

I rarely award a full 5 deaths, but ZEN really deserves every single one.... Mega super duper delicious food... we've been here several times, every time it's really a pleasure... Super nice service, attentive, friendly, helpful, competent, fast and sometimes even fun. Ambience: reserved, noble, friendly with lots of greenery, very clean, not as kitschy as is often the case with Asian restaurants... and what I also think is very good is that the tables are not so terribly close to each other. When the weather is nice you can also sit outside, Uhlandstr. In the 2nd row with a very nice and spacious courtyard area. This restaurant does have a small drawback... if you come by car, use a parking garage! There are absolutely no parking spaces available outside, or just take public transport... Dear ZEN people, we would love to come back!!!

Mega Sushi, rarely have I eaten something so delicious. Service was friendly but a bit disorganized but without a doubt a must try.

The place is quiet, secluded - the only plus of this place. Well, there is also a children's menu. The service is terrible: the waiters are lost and don't speak English. They immediately poured water on the floors in front of us (they washed off the dirt), and immediately after that they took and served the food. They didn’t bring the drink I ordered, and even after a reminder they didn’t bring it. It turns out I didn’t put it in the order( There was no chicken in the soup. I had to ask for a new portion. The sushi was ordinary. But the impression was spoiled by the service

A really Nice place with a Pretty decor. From when we ordered, to the food was on our table was incredible. It was like not even 10 min. So overall good service and really tastefull food. Would definitly reccoment.

The service was subpar. Of the 2 soups we ordered, only one came. Main courses took ages to arrive even though there were hardly any tables occupied. Same with the drinks too. Neither friendly nor professional.
